    As a person who is a pessimist, I find that in my mind, I think about problems and the sort being a lot worse and harder to overcome than they actually are. Venting or simply writing down my thoughts on a piece of paper or a text file on my computer helps me to look at what's going on from a more calmer perspective which helps tackle problems.

    I've found that a lot of people don't really mind if you vent to them. If you ask them if it's okay to vent first, and they say yes, then you just have to take them at face value. It's not your responsibility to tend to their emotional state.

    My new laptop, according to the tracking site thing, is already in my state.... so I don't think it needs until Thursday to get here

    I have band competitions the second, third, and fourth Saturday in October.
    Then it's my birthday.
    Then we have championships.

    The entire band is welcome for their Saturday off.
