The hilarious part of what you just said is that Yu-Gi-Oh GX had a strong emphasis on Fusion Summoning - culminating in the now banned Super Polymerization card that was the central point of the show's third season.

Huh. I think I remember that. Jaden did use polymerization quite a bit, even in the first season^^

His deck was basically just turboing out situational E-Hero Fusions as soon as possible. Even when he switched to Neos and the Neo Spacians, it amounted to summoning the right boss monster to completely turn the duel around.
