  • Please be patient with me. Apparently the three weeks I missed were crucial and I've been desperately trying to catch up. Responses may be out this weekend but there are no promises. I'm so sorry.
I'm sorry the delay; I've been admitted into the hospital and I will need time

Take all the time you need. I hope you recover soon.
I'm sorry for the absence; I've put myself in a hole and I'm attempting to climb out of it with little success
Me: *has essential things that need to be done*
Also me: *neglects them in order to work on an IC post*
Also also me: Fuck why don't I have the time to do these important things?!
Apologies to any newcomers: I have a problem with saying "no," so responses may be minimal until things get better situated. Didn't expect so many responses.
I just found the perfect Spotify playlist for writing. Guys, I've transcended into Nirvana.

My favorite playlist for writing is anything Myuu plays.
Almost 110% certain my professors conspire in their dungeon to assign involved projects all around the same fucking time.
Went to the coast, my hair is now red.

There's no correlation, I was just stating two facts that happened in one day.
So according to my college textbook, it's not healthy to isolate yourself from others? Why the Hell have I been doing it for then my entire life?

Because people are vicious sometimes. However it is true. Humans by nature are social creatures and isolation for extended periods of time can actually be bad for you health wise. It can lead to depression (not the mental disorder, just the feeling), anxiety, and can actually stress your body out causing your immune system to not work as it’s supposed to.

I does lead to depression too. And premature death. There's a neuroscientist (Sanjay Gupta) who said just saying "hello" can increase your lifespan :)
Guys guys guys, I just (frivolously) spent money for a concert in April! Pretty friggin' pumped.
I believe I'm officially caught up in all my responses, and I apologize for any absences in the upcoming future as I am attempting to adjust to a drastic schedule change.
I hate reading. You invest all this time into loving these characters and then the fucking story ends :(

That's why I read mostly series instead of solo books :D Give me moar!

Caffeine Freak Caffeine Freak I can't tell if you're being satirical or not... I'm broken when it comes to sarcasm.

I'm not being satirical. I really do prefer series because it gives me more time with characters I've grown attached to. (Except Game of Thrones, which I read the first three of and which I won't read anymore. But if one doesn't mind what happens to people, it's a good series.)
Why the fuck do I feel so damn stressed when I'm legitimately caught up and prepared for everything I can be for once? This is unfair.

My dad once told me it's because you're stressed about not being stressed

As Mechanist alludes to, it'll be to do with an unfamiliar feeling, in this case that of not feeling stressed. I'd imagine on some level it feels like you must be missing something.

That's exactly what it is and it's irritating. No matter how many times I check and recheck my schedule, I feel like I didn't do something. Or maybe I half-assed something
