Eyy jt hows it going? Don't think I've been on much/at all since some time before exalted 3e launched lol. how's things on your end?

Good, work is keeping me busy but out of trouble, haha. Speaking of 3e, were you as disappointed with it as I was?

Yeah... that's kinda why I just disappeared around the time it hit. Everything about the edition was SO disappointing that I just kinda had to withdraw or I was going to get really bitchy about it lmao.

The art was the worst part tbh, I LOVED the amazing stylistic and consistent art of 2e and 3e was just random crap for the most part, systems didn't really draw me either

I liked some of the art, although a few of them were utter trash. For me the biggest offender of the mechanics was the Charms themselves. Way to many, with absurd dice tricks that amounted to nothing. The sorcery system on the other hand, was something I felt was amazing. Ultimately though, it wasn't good enough for me to feel like I got my money's worth.

Ah. I spent 0 and still don't feel like I got my money's worth, lol. I might look through it again one of these days and see if my feelings changed at all but I was just super disappointed at the time and it pushed me out of p&p style RP entirely for a while to focus on other kinds.

It more or less killed my enthusiasm for Exalted this edition. Even if the devs that designed the corebook are gone now and new devs have taken over, the foundation for Solars is pretty bad, and they're the only splat I really like.

These days I mostly play DnD 5e, Mutants and Masterminds, or the World/Chronicles of Darkness. Currently I'm in a Mage game, and am having a lot of fun with that. I'm also running few DnD 5e games as well.

Huh, cool. I haven't really looked in p&p in a while, mostly been working on my writing chops and general RPing... and that thing where I actually stick with games LOL. Discipline in general really.
