OMFG... I'm back. I can't believe I was able to return after those weeks. I need a vacation.... *long sigh* Someone give me a carton of ice-cream please?

Welcome back!  Here's your ice cream:

My colleges math instructor thinks the class is hard because "there's a lot to cover in 10 weeks," he says. Ha! Challenge accepted.
In honor of the late Christopher Hitchens (1949-2011), I shall have my avatar changed to him as well as post a blog in memory of him and his work.
The college wants me, the college Opinion Editor of the school newspaper and polemic to write an essay on a social phenomenon. Not for a class, but for the college. Well, time to explain the utmost importance of free speech while passively going after the college itself.
I'm so hot for George Michael right now. Ugh, he's so hot! And that voice, too. :(

George Michael is an amazing artist. By himself or when he was in WHAM!, I enjoy listening to him.

Oh, he is amazing, but also hot. He's everything. But it's always a task of who is better: George Michael or Adam Lambert

Oh that's a challenge. Adam Lambert is hot too and his singing is also really good. For me, I'm biased against George Micheal cause I'm so used to hearing him. Not to mention I tend to get Faith stuck in my head at random points in time.
I partially feel horrible for my writing instructor at my college, who will spend her winter break at the pacific islands for vacation and to grade our 5-6 page argumentative research essays only to find my lengthy polemical 10+ essay going after BLM.

Deep down, I think she kind of expected it.
This has been one of my most stressful nights. We have a Hillary wins, a Trump wins, and rushing to get "Too Close to Call" version. I need a drink.

Yea, but I'm actually making the paper, and we need to meet the deadline. It's just as stressful because we're not saying who won before it actually happens (reference to Truman). I'm not stressed as a citizen, I'm stressed as a journalist.

    OH!

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry, that must be hellish!

Good luck, then, and I hope we get the results soon!

    Meh. Why even stress?

Don't worry, I know people who can help us, unlike Trump. Good people. Amazing people. And they tell me I am the only person who can make this site great again.

Finally returned from D.C. I'm sorry for those who live there, your drivers are absolutely the worse, most incompetence bunch I've ever had the displeasure to witness. Nonetheless, a grandiose city to be in. I hope to return soon.

Hooray!  Take the time you need on returning.  Also I have to ask, but how was it?

How was D.C.? It was beautiful. I got all I needed for my articles, though I'll end up reviewing the upcoming movie Loving, which is about the Supreme Court case of 1967 Loving v. Virginia. I plan to return later, but the drivers are just horrid. The people are nice. I'm still left in aw at how big everything is. Even in pictures, they never truly resonate the magnitude of their size compared to yourself. Totally recommend it.

It should be noted, I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, which was really nice. Stayed at Holiday in on my last night as to be near Capital Hill, and rode the Metro most of the time.

My favorite place, of course, which anyone who knows me would not be surprised, was the Jefferson Memorial.

There was FDR's memorial, but while I like some of the things he did, he's a rather despicable human being. He's sadly touted as the hero of the Democrats as Reagan is to the Republicans. They both need their Jesus-esque Presidents, I guess.

    TL ; DR

If you get the chance, I'd recommend going to Washington just to truly experience it.

I should add, Loving was a wonderful film. I saw the premiere and was there to interview/question the director. But when it comes out, I'd say it's worth it if you like historical dramas.
