Well, my standard "Bored as fuck, must do something" RP is basically Post-Apocalyptic Cyberpunk Giant Robot Fightan. I've been thinking of doing a Supreme-Commander-esque sort of deal where the players are a series of space generals commanding a robot army and are tasked with taking planet by planet, for the Empire! It'd be more of a 'grand strategy' sort of thing where you'd have to actually know tactics to do well.

If you can't tell, my favorite kind of setting is Sci-Fi (preferably with a 'mostly realistic' feel), but I can do most anything as long as it isn't boring slice of life high-school shit. I could do that too, honestly, as long as there's a hook I can latch onto.

Love tactic play and have no issues with manning robots. Not half bad if you can make it look pretty good in a post.

Oh, by the way, the 'post-apocalyptic robot fightan' and the 'supcom-esque grand strategy' things are two totally different things. Either way, you sounded more interested in the grand strategy one?

Would you like me to make a thread and possibly get more people, or just the two of us?

We can do it either way, but we will definitely need to add more detail to keep me interested. I also have an issue with posting systems. I work 15 hours two - three days out of the week where I just won't post. I hate getting left behind due to work. If we can have a system for posting in group, great. If not. Then probably 1x1 will be best. Either way, I'll help anyway I can along the way.

I'll just keep it in PM's, then. I barely thought of the setting and the plot so far, so excuse me if I write by the seat of my pants when we do this. Of course, I always write like that anyway.

Anyway, what would you expect of me, and when would you like to start?

I don't expect anything since I don't know you, but I would like to be tickled and impressed sometimes. Start....NOW! Or... whenever is convenient for you. I have two more days off. Then I work for two days. Do we need CS?

Honestly, for stuff like this I'd just tell you what NOT to do and let you go crazy for your dude(s?). As long as it isn't stupid.

My screen. I was told if I shake my phone, cookies will drop out. It's not working. It's been over an hour and my arm is tired.

Politics, Tactics....sound like RPgasm to me.

It is RPgasm. Who doesn't like politics? Played coolly, and executed with grace, it can be very fruitful.

Only thing is, so many people are too young on here that it's not a very "interesting" topic to them. Most times anyways.

Of course, this is my first one of the 'genre', so don't expect too much from me.

They're hell lots of fun, though, if you understand the dynamics. Mixed with cloak-and-dagger traits, and with a dash of mercantilism, and you've got a bloody piquant RP.
