You can always re-watch a thread. Or simply ask people to tag you since those always work.

So the comments have a larger character limit than the status bar? What kind of logic is that? Why not make them equal? Hopefully this chang

It's something that's built into the software. Not even the site owner can change it.

Well it had to be changed somehow because before there was no limit :/ but if they can't change it then whatever. Just makes it hard to get your thoughts across when you have to condense everything so much.

The website changed what software it was on because the other one had a lot of issues with it. This software came with the limit. I recommend the personal discussion forums. It's not the same, but it is what it is.
I hate this stupid character limit. :/ I don't understand what the point of it is. Putting a character limit on anything is nothing but frus

That's so silly. Especially when you look back at just how much people were able to express themselves before. Like just look at some of my longer statuses from way back when. :/ It's a shame

Isaedras trudged through the woods unaware of his surroundings as he kept his nose buried in his book, tired, but satisfied. He had spent the day sacrificing humans, and creatures alike to the tattered book since each sacrifice strengthened the demon and gave him more power to control it. “Finally, it’s becoming easier to summon the wretched creature to do my bidding.” He mutter excitedly to himself and kept up his pace as he journeyed deeper into the sinister forest with reckless abandon.  He expected he would soon be able to summon it without having a sacrifice ready. But not yet. He still needed another victim.

“Time to rest for a bit.” The silver-haired mage stumbled into a comfortable looking patch of moss and stones before setting himself down and rummaging through his leather bag filled with tomes, and many ancient titles and volumes before pulling out an especially burned and damaged publication with something that resembled a smile crossing his face. “Perfect.” He muttered to himself and slipped on a small pair of reading glasses before flipping to the pages he wanted to “Now where are you….ah! “Stulti Membranas: The Map of Fools!”  The spell was somewhat complex, but not above his skill level. He would create a magical fog that would enchant the forest for miles around, confusing travelers, and leading them right to him. His crooked mouth crept into something resembling a smile at the thought as he rubbed his hands together excitedly. “I just need one more of you weak-minded travelers to come my way and then I’m off to find the castle…This...” He lifted the book holding the demon inside its pages and stared into its cover for a moment. “Will finally show me the way to that wretched place…” He chuckled quietly as he pondered the extent of the new power he would obtain along the way before hopping to his feet. “Let’s make our ways deeper into the forest before we hatch our little scheme. “ He rubbed his hands together excitedly before returning to his trek through the forest of strange origin.

Sometime later, Isaedras set his tome beside a wide, but shallow river   He waved his hands over the still surface, calling forth arcane powers until the liquid quivered, slowly revealing a forest scene. “And now we wait.” He muttered to himself as he scanned the forest in the hopes of coming across a traveler nearby or even a creature of some sort, a rabbit even. “What the hell? I can’t sacrifice a traveler if there are no travelers to sacrifice!” He kicked a stone across the shallow body of water out of frustration and continued to peer through the “window” he had created to aid him in luring a traveler or two into his clutches. He studied the tome again, then recited the incantation while concentrating on the emptiness of the forest in the hopes that some poor passerby would appear. A fog crept steadily into the area, quickly draping the forest with a thick blanket of cold mist that would, if the spell worked as it should, obscure anyone’s path and make it difficult to go any other direction than toward his very location, be it with a map or compass of any kind.
