You're not Yuya is one of the few actual good main characters who can duel. What deck do you run? I run  Pk Fire & ABC's.

Yeah, he's the kind of protagonist I wanna be friends with. I guess he's not compared to Yugi, but i like how his skills does grow. Bonus points for learning how to control his mentality so he doesn't just panic.

I'm a noob. I actually haven't gotten much chances to pick up the card games despite watching the anime for a while. Perks of being an adult, one can buy their own cards now without being judged by parents.

I own a set of cards from the performage set, and been trying to go down the "Clownblade" route, since I quite liked the style. That said, I think the most ideal would be spell counter decks.

If i'm slow on replies well wacthing Drifters. Man so much epicness i',m overloaded by it.

Oh bro try  out ABC's and that deck you're suggesting is to slow for this format.

Ah that so? Thanks for the recommendation.

I'll check it out.

What do you like best about playstyles with ABC's deck?
The Golden Lion

One the deck is always recycles so the boss monster can come back. It shuts down backrow and negates anything if built right.
Quark
Quark
Oh right. That's safe, especially for the ace monster. Safe is good.

Interestingly, I'm trying to build up skills in using the backrow. //Feels like can be rather deadly in subtle ways, which is kind of up my alley. Though I've still got lots more to research.

The only good traps are in my honest view. Solemn Warning,Solemn,Strike,Vanity's Empitness, and Phantom Knights Fog Blades. Backrow is hit/miss for the meta it's about speed & grindgame. Blue-Eyes is speed based.

I don't recall Vanity's Emptiness (guess another to look up), but I do recall reading about the other three. Phantom Knights' Fog Blade was something that did interest me at some point. Thanks for the input from an experienced player.

Welp, guess it's just best for me to find more friends to play and practice. That's also if I get the time, while doing RPs and drawing and studying :'D.

No problem as I play Yu-Gi-Oh competitively   & Vanguard. You have DEV pro?
Quark
Quark
Ah right, sounds fun going to competitions. If you go to actual live competitions, what's the general gender ratio?

DEV pro? The online PC then not yet.

After exams I'm thinking of trying the one on the phone first. I enjoy card games and puzzles in general so I'm not able to invest too much time into just one type of card game ^_^

Yeah and mainly a sausage feast man. Barely any women and the few that play are good or scrubbish.
