Have you played awhile here? What kinds of games do you enjoy?

I've been here for 1 little over 2 years. Not into dice or anything, But I do like reading things from people that are. I mostly do free-form and Fantasy/Fandoms in particular.

That's cool. I've played very little freeform. It's always interested me, though.


So what about my post interested you or did you like?

I am a curios person and always want to know more. How to do x, how to make y better. I like to look at things from different perspectives and love reading questions/discussions that give really good insight. I know yours was from a few years back, but it's still relevant today. As someone who GMs, it was a jewel for me to go through and read. I now have a little more knowledge in my pocket about the quirks of free-form story-telling. What was said in that thread, is all absolutely true.

It's funny because I re-reading it now laugh. A lot changes in four years. I definitely don't have the same opinions or even taste as I did then when it comes to RPGs. Current "me" would have a thing or two to say to old "me". I was focused on the wrong things as an ST / GM / DM / MC then.


It's fun to think about the timeline from then until now. What games I've played, how they've changed my perspective, and how I approach all that now.
