Apparently the lag and stuff is because of the new hardware the site was ported over to. Supposedly it'll work itself out in a little while.

Specifically, they have a program running in the background converting all the old post code in to the new code. It'll be useful in the long run, so I suffer through it.

That's actually not what's making it slow. What's making it slow is the reindexing, which is an essential part of the move and is unrelated to the coding entirely. c;

Last time I checked we were around ~90% done, so it shouldn't be much longer that we have to deal with it.
