Unless I'm incredibly mistaken, half of the reason for the update was because tabs were no longer supported and had to be removed for a new system.

Those tabs are being replaced, yes. Tabs in-post still exist, though they are not doable on mobile.

The site is barely functional on mobile rn yeah.  But its the RP tabs I miss, those things were so incredibly useful!  Now instead of having one page open and being able to jump between every tab to see any useful information you have to open up a new browser tab and find where the content is from the forum layout.  For an upgrade, it sure seems like a downgrade in usability.

Yeah. Everyone is complaining about how this went backwards so far. But now it's done, no use crying over spilt milk. All we can really do is pray things really do get fixed in time.
