TV & Film Does anyone else like transformers here?

True fact

And i for one like that the Bayformers looked alien, if you know what i mean. For the most part, they look like an actual extraterrestial species. The ways they transformed in and out of altmode. They just looked and felt more complex and details than most itterations of them. Many of the transformers throughout the ages look to blocky for me, aswell as look too simple. So it was always hard for me to believe that they came from another world when they look as if they were made by man. Though the despite the complexity of the Bayformer's design, some of them were barely recognizable. Which is the downside, The shape is one thing, and the names are another as some are barely named unless you by the toys from the movie line-up, but the colors should've been the factor as the Transformers are known for their colors.That why we can tell who's who. Since realistically, they aren't going to coincidentally find a vehicle with their iconic colors just around somewhere. Like Starscream for instance. We knew he was in the movie for sure, but we couldn't tell because of he wasn't in his iconic, red, white, and black color scheme. We only figured it out when Megatron calls him by name. Granted, they did get right that he is an F-150, but realistically, where was Starscream gonna find one with his original color-scheme? No where, really. And i doubt they can just change the colors themselves on a whim. So the only way anyone can tell him apart, is with the cybtronian tatoos he's got all over his body, but they're only really visible in his alt-mode. Cause with so many Transformers in the movies, a good chunck of them are either unrecognizable, aren't named, or are killed off. Again, since it's they're movies, they can only do so much in a set amount of time. So that's why i apprectiate the multiple game, comic, and toy tie-ins that fill in the gaps that were missing for the most part. I'm still holding out that the franchise finishes the second trilogy with Unicron before it ultimately ends

Bumblebee fixes that issue giving transformers colors, but also being complex as well.

I love transformers. my first run in with them were the bay movies, but then... i watched prime and havent been the same since.

im a big fan of the idw comics, especially j roberts run of mtmte and lost light. i also loved windblade vol 1 (the only good windblade comic sadly). i still havent gotten around to reading the rebooted series however.
