Yui Tanaka - Lumiose City, Kalos (Cafe) - Tags : None
Current Team: Lillipup

yui was known for her tendency to snack. she loved
any snack that she could get her hand on, especially
if it was sweet, like malasadas. yui's father, who ran
a small laidback alolan style clothing store, was
from the beautiful region and introduced her to
malasadas when she was only a small child. her
partner definitely enjoyed them too.

speaking of her partner, lillipup was on a very
diligent watch for any crumbs that the pinkette
may drop. The girl leaned down and gave the
puppy pokemon a piece of her malasada for
her efforts. The girl wore a yellow button-up,
blue jean capris, and some white tennis shoes.

her pink hair was out and flowing down her
shoulders. she was happy just sitting in that
little cafe with her sweet malasada in her
hands and her impatient lilipup at her heels.

little did she know what was happening to the other heros.

Eris, the Skiddo (F), Lvl. 13
Skiddo, the Mount Pokémon. Because of Skiddo's mild temperament, they're thought to be one of the first Pokémon to live in harmony with people.
-
Eris is a very playful Skiddo. She loves her trainer dearly and always goes around with her in her trips. Artemisa tends to have her out of her Pokeball. Eris tends to spread out when they are outside, sometimes she brings Artemisa herbs or berries back.

Eventually, Art and Blake managed to scare the last remaining Vivillon off. The Icy Vivillon, along with the rest, ended up flying as high as they could and slowly left the place. The first thing Art did was grab her newly-captured High-Plains Vivillon. "Hey, uhm, do you want to ride with me? That way we can get faster to where the others are and help them," Art said as she hopped onto Eris. She knew Eris would be alright with the two of them riding, of course.

Just after she asked that, though, she felt someone run and then halt in their tracks. Upon closer inspection, Art realised that someone was actually Elsie. But what was she running from? There where no Vivillon near her anymore. Why was she alone? Had she gotten separated from the group too? "Oh, Blake, that's Elsie right there, she's also one of Sycamore's aides for this mission," said Art looking at Blake, and then she turned around and shouted, "Elsie!! Are you alright!? I was worried. Where have you been? Come here this instant!" Art was really worried, although she seemed fine and not at all hurt, yet her clothes were now stained with some paint-like substance. Didn't help that her clothes had been wet before and where still not dry. She got off Eris and walked a bit closer to Elsie. "Oh, by the way, Blake..." but the moment she turned around, there was no one there. She face-palmed and murmured, "how is it that we got split so soon...?" as she caressed Eris's fur to calm down.

Maple wasn't sure what had happened, it happened all so fast. One moment the Vivilion were angry and then they were gone. He felt so worthless, he froze up not knowing what to do in the situation. His new-found friends were brave and kept fighting and subduing the moth-like Pokemon. Here he was scared as a Torchic, shaking. He needed to do something! He took one step forward and that's when Viola appeared. Were they saved now? He rejoined the group and looked to the ground a sad expression on his face. If he wanted to be a Pokemon trainer he needed more bravery than what he had. Breathing in deeply he let it out in a huff. "I'm sorry I didn't help more. I-I was scared." he furrowed his brow in anger of himself. Hugging his chest he bit his lips.

"I'll try harder, okay?"

With the Vivillon taken care of, Blake's focus now shifted as Artemisa offered a lift on her Skiddo. There was reluctance clear on her face, but thankfully she didn't need to answer as another you woman soon drew the attention of Art, as she rushed over and began immediately firing off a multitude of questions, this also gave Blake and Shino enough time to slip away and check out the large encampment nearby. As they moved along she noticed Shino seemed a bit more slugging than usual as he tried to keep pace, though a few reassuring pats followed by a short breather gave the Scyther a chance to breathe.

”Guess whatever's going around is getting to you, huh? Let's speed this up so we can get you out of here, ” She smiled before sneaking in to get a closer look at what exactly was going on, Shino keeping close behind her as they ducked behind a stack of supply crates.

With too many Electric-types present, a fight was definitely out of the question. However, amongst all the commotion, Blake noticed a small cage not too far off from her place of hiding which held a rather frustrated or more so confused Venipede, which continued to ram itself against the cage door until it seemed to wear itself out. Unable to sit by and watch the little bug struggle, Blake instructed Shino to remain hidden as she crept closer while dodging the many gazes of scientist and Pokemon alike. ”Sorry, don’t mind me.” She smiled at the rather confused Bug Pokémon as she reached up, pulling a bobby pin from her and going to work on the lock. She seemed to struggle for a few minutes until that satisfying click hit her ears.

Reaching inside the cage, Blake carefully extracted the Venipede from within, taking a few moments to give calming strokes along its back to keep it from biting or flailing as she moved back towards Shino, the now trio proceeding to study the camp and get some idea of what they were up to while hoping Viola or the others would arrive soon with some sort of plan until then they'd sit tight and take notes.

Stay ready.” Is all he would say to his Bulbasaur companion while the ball still shook, Zeke sighing in relief when it fell still. On the plus side, he had a new pokemon companion. On the minus side, he was almost certain the Vivillon would still be affected by whatever it was that had pissed it off in the first place. At least, based on his understandings of the way the poke-ball worked. When she appeared Viola would find Zeke rubbing the back of his head, checking to see if he was bleeding which he thankfully wasn't. “Uh..y..yeah. All good. Bounced off this tree here, but good. Yeah. I think. Other than that hurting like a bitch.” It was going to swell and hurt for a few days, but he would be fine. Probably. “Right then. Bouldercore got a bit banged up fighting that Vivillon...well, this Vivillon” he held the poke-ball towards Viola “Buuuut it might still be under the effect of whatever was pissing the bugs off in the first place. Or...I guess still is. We still need to find whatever it is and knock it off. Or out. If it's someone doing it. I'm...I'm blabbering aren't I? Maybe I need to sit back down.” And sit down he did, rubbing his temples. As he did his Bulbasaur came over, Zeke grinning to the grass pokemon and spraying it with the potion given to him by Viola. After a moment Zeke would force himself to once again stand, one hand going to the back of his head to help with the pain. “Zeke, by th way. There were more of us, but when the Vivillon came the others scattered. Not the best idea we've made, but it probably won't be the last either.”This was just great. Not 24 hours in to their adventure and already he had lost his directionally challenged charge. Thank goodness he knew how to get a hold of her! Pulling out an old school flip phone, Zeke would dial in Elsie's whateverformofcommunicationyouhadinmind, Elsie getting the usual voice only call on her end a few seconds later. “Elsie? You good? Where are you? Can you send up some sort of...I dunno. Smoke signal of some kind??” Did she have anything capable of deploying smoke signals of some sort?

Even with the presence of a gym leader, things seemed a bit hopeless. The group was scattered, some in worse shape than others either personally or their own partners who fought diligently in the first aggressive insect hoard of many occupying the forest. It was a sad sight to see — generally peaceful, timid Pokémon outright attacking to the point of exhaustion. And their own new partners having quite a negative first experience out in the wilderness.

Just as the majority began to come into contact with unknown forces occupying an unnatural clearing in the forest, Viola pulled the plug on the entire investigation. “This is too big for us,” she said with her little foreign accent, which was cute even in her seriousness, but her seriousness should alarm anyone as that typically wasn’t her personality. “We need to get everyone together, and pull back.”

and so that’s what they did. With layers of concern warping her pretty pale face into one of a severely worried mother, Viola send out her masquerain to attempt to discreetly find the others, while she had her own vivillion guide the others out of the forest. The encampment she saw housed many odd devices, machinery and seemed to be contaminating the once crystal clear waters — it hurt her soul, but she was out matched here. Guarding dogs like houndoom and manetrik could be seen wandering the parameters and not a soul here would survive the battle and she hated to admit it but, typing wise she was screwed, too.It was no longer a new trainer kind of adventure, this was law enforcement level problem.

elsies froakie was the one who ended up bringing her back to group, that and Zeke trying desperately to guide her over the phone when all they had to go off of was that tree, or that tree. Viola did manage to track down Art and gave her a firm hug for her bravery and extended a warm welcome to Blake, a new face in the gang.

With everyone traumatized and accounted for the group wearily or worriedly made their way back to Santalune and straight to the Pokémon Center lobby where Nurse Joy was contacted ahead of time about not only the trainers, but the injured Pokémon just within the forest. It was dangerous to head out there and try to help the insects now. But Viola held back tears while she dialed Sycamores number and told him about what a terrible experience it had been, and what was going on from the little bit that she could gather. Her lack of information only further worried him. They discussed things quiet and dramatic like while the others took their respective turns healing their partners and trying to gather their scruples.

Elise did not tell anyone yet about the big machine she has found, or how upset it had made froakie. She seemed to not be processing things very well, and instead sat bundled in a blanket with a juice box. She was very small and quiet in her corner, which was on the floor beside the couch where her friends sat. No one knew why she couldn’t just sit on the couch but,no one knew why elsie was the way she was anyways.

The water gun and some other attacks later, the Vivion would be dealt with and would follow the group to Santalune City's pokemon center. "Darn my tardiness but at least we got here, what in the world had those butterflies in such a fury?" he would ask to anyone around not really expecting too much of an answer from the others as they (probably) didn't know either. "With that out of the way, the name is Andy and this here is Aquamarine or Aqua for short," referring to the now bouncing little blue mouse and introducing himself to everyone around near where the moths once were, trying to get an idea of these new faces for now. Of course, they weren't tired just confused as to what the heck drove the Vivions so nuts.
