I'll come up with a better title at some point... maybe.
Welcome welcome everyone who happens to drop by. I have this idea that has been brewing in my head for a while and I thought it'd be more fun with other people. It's not fully fleshed out since I wanted to see if people were interested before I go more in-depth with the idea. Soooo this idea is about a group of people who are put in this facility to be experimented upon more or less against their will. There will be mysteries to solve, choices to make, and drama galore. There will be times when there's a group decision to be made and some where it's just the individual. Some people might die if they aren't too careful or lose their powers who knows.
The premise is scientists perform experimentation for the first humans with enhanced capabilities. They tried to narrow it down to one aspect to keep the string of DNA consistent. It was easier to blend them together if they focused each candidate on one thing. It was decided the zodiac was the proper thing to go by as decided by the board of directors since it was already a scaled chart. Each character had its own persona and abilities so half the work was already done for them.
The facility the subjects were placed in was in the most remote location outside the reach of the public hidden strategically. The underground facility was enormous but parts of it were sectioned off completely. The building was much farther in tech than the world but the subjects wouldn't know that since they have no memories other than this morning. The only thing they do know is that they are being watched over by mother and they should be grateful to be with her.
Everyone has powers based on their zodiac, I'll be Leo because that is the head of the zodiac and I am the head of this group. I'll also be playing NPCs and some key roles you guys don't know about yet. All the characters are between the age of 18 to 21 because that's when you teeter between independence and dependence. I thought it'd be cool to see them struggle between should I stay or should I go. For now, I'd say the character limit is one but depending on how many people join it may bump up. Zodiacs are first come first serve so if there's one you want to reserve I'd say to ask for it now butttttt each one has different characteristics/quirks to them that I'll post when I make the actual group. I'd definitely wait to see what each one has going on before you just choose one. I'm not sure if I'm going to open them up to multiple people yet it depends on how many people want it. Also I'd prefer if there was an even distribution between boys and girls because it is an experiment technically so I'd like to believe scientists would choose to have even results.
There are a few rules for you.
-Be kind, don't lash out and argue, don't be super petty over dumb stuff, and let's all at least be cordial.
-Post a healthy paragraph or more, if you can't I'll help you but if you can't keep up with the quality/quantity expectations of the group then we might not be the fit for you. (a paragraph really isn't a lot to ask for)
-Post in an orderly time frame, don't post once a week everyone will get bored and you'll either be kicked or left behind if you don't tell me. I'd say every two-three days at most because I know everyone can't do an everyday thing. I don't mind slowing down because life is important.
-Don't flood the ic, soooo I know when a moment is going you want to keep going and it gets carried away. I'd say you get two posts but there will be points when I'll let everyone talk and when there are more story points so things will have to be more orderly.
All these things are up for debate/discussion so if you're interested let me know! If you have any ideas you'd like to contribute go ahead and say it too because I love creativity.
We are at 12/12 players rn just a little food for thought.
