Elora Arahaeldes
It has been a long, but exciting day for Elora. Usually her duties comprised of simple things since she was such a low rank in the order. Today was different though, today she was tasked with escorting Yumiko, one of the very few mages granted the title of Merlin's guard. Elora had always look up to the woman for she was what Elora strived to be. Staff in hand, Elora followed the woman around, Hielo at her heels. They were currently back at the academy, something Elora felt she did all to often with her guard duties. People would stare at her as she passed mostly for the fact that she was with Yumiko but also because she was an elf. Being one of the very few non-humans to have attended the academy she was pretty well known in its walls. Even though it had been a year since she graduated there were those who still remember her.

As Yumiko wondered towards a specific classroom, Elora couldn't help but raise an eyebrow wondering what the woman was up to. It was a man telling a story via shadows it was honestly quite memorizing to watch but when Yumiko started using her own magic to create the story the correct way, her eyes shined with awe. Elora hadn't heard this version of the story before but she believed it whole heartily since it was coming from such a powerful mage. When the story ended, Elora had to admit she was a little disappointed by the true story for it was a good ending like the other one. Elora waited by the door for Yumiko. Even though they were in the academy, she kept watch of everyone walking by and who would entering and leave the room. Elora knew that they had been summoned for something and didn't like taking detours but she wasn't about to say anything to one of the highest ranking members in the order.

It wasn’t long since since the crowed had left when some rather captivating voice called out to skotádi, there was something undeniably attractive to it, a quality he couldn’t put his finger on. At least whatever it was appreciated his art and magic for that matter not exactly knowing where the voice he bowed a little. “Well thank you for the complement its nice to have someone who notices how much skill is involved” however the voice went onto talk about how his version wasn’t exactly right, of course skotádi never really felt his version was exactly right after all he heard his version was form a man that claimed to be a related to knight, but yes cursed peppercorns made far far more sense, it wasn’t as poetic though. He didn’t have time to dwell on that as he was overcome with dizziness his creations appearing before him again playing out the scenario once again, with a fair fair more morbid ending then his own a incredible tragic one at that leaving a frown on the shadow mages face, his ears twitching a bit as well. Finally a woman revealed herself as the culprit for not only the voice but the morbid display beforehand. “Well yes while I understand a story is sometimes changed to tell a story or give it some message, and I’m glad you liked my interpretation, but it do supposes it’s a little disappointing, however I think we both know that” skotádi’s eyes changed to a solid back as a far smaller version of the dragon appeared in front of him it’s claws slamming into the ground leaving small indent in the ground before disappearing once again “truth can often hurt more that fiction, not every story has a happy end by I’m entitled to at least try. Where are my manners? My name is skotádi, what might yours be.”

Alice stared at the desk and the jar of cookies. Alice's eyebrow twitched. “You did not just eat a half jar of cookies I just made last night!” She walked over and snatched the jar. “I just made these.” Alice sighed then laughed a little. “How are you not fat yet?" She then gave him a stern look. "No more cookies or sweets for the rest of the week.” She then went into the kitchen and set the jar on the table. She was about to walk back into the office but she stopped before heading back. Honestly, Alice was not in the mood to socialize. She had to deal with a lot of people complaining about being summoned here and why weren't we taking care of the Templars and blah blah blah. Alice felt like she was going to lose it. So right now she wasn't in the mood for reunions. She peaked her head through the door. "I'll wait till they leave." She said closing the door.

"Noooooooooooooo!!!!" Her manager was having a nervous breakdown. He held on to her leg crying as she tried to leave the house. "You can't go do you realize how many auditions I have lined up! This was your first big drama and you had the lead role! You've got American fans! Please, you can't go back to that school not now!" Atsuko stopped walking and sighed. "....I don't want to go either.....but I have to..." Her manager finally let go and stood up. When he did Atsuko bolted to the door. "Don't worry I won't be gone long!" She yelled out. "Hopefully..." she whispered to herself. She then opened a portal and went through but she wasn't paying attention and fell right into Magnus office fell on top of Merik. "ugh." She sat up and looked around realizing where she was though she fail to realize she had crashlanded on Merik. "Hey, guys!...and stranger I don't know." Said referring to Morkari. Atsuko glanced over at Yuna. That was the last person she wanted to see. Atsuko didn't want to admit it but she became of Yuna's after her music got released and she did not want her knowing Atsuko knew she'd never hear the end of it if Yuna actually knew Atsuko had become a fan. "I better change my ring tone." Atsuko murmured to herself.

“Hey squirt, before you do anything can you get off me?” He asked with his voice strained from someone landing on him “Seriously I don’t care how small you are falling from that height still hurts” he levitated her into the air and moved her off. He got up and dusted off looking around “Also that’s Morkari, although he’s been exploring his mysterious side in Africa” he said cracking his back a little before grabbing his bag again. He looked at the slightly taller but still very short actress “Atsuko you have to work on your portals. What if Mister and Misses Youngblood were in the middle of some intimate alone time, you’d have intruded and that would be horrible” he said trying to sound serious before bursting out laughing. He stopped laughing and picked Atsuko up and put her on her feet “There....” he said before turning back to the rest of the group “So Yuna I have to say that album you released recently was probably your best so far but maybe cut back on the auto tune just a bit” he chuckled a bit after poking fun at his pink friend. He wanted to get to the bottom of what was going on but he knew Magnus would probably be the one with the most info.

Chouko Qalli
Chouko had double and triple checked all her luggage before she left her house, leaving a note for her....'manager'....more like stalker in her case, that she was headed to her twin's house. In no way did she leave any address or phone number to get her back at. As she walked through the portal she created, humming all the way with nearly 20 different cases of luggage floating after her. Not to mention of the tools she brought along with some clothes, which amounted to 3-4 cases. That was before she remembered her bag and proceeded to put all the luggage of hers in there. With the suitcases in there securely, Chouko finally carried the bag into the school with a pseudo smile on her face, while wearing a Victorian lace mask over her face. She felt the mask was important to her, masking what the world saw her as than what her twin and adoptive parents saw. She was just a person in an endless sea of agony, being tossed to and fro with the currents of time and never settling on more than one thing with life. Death had taught her much, the bought of joy of being released from the burden of flesh and embracing that nirvana that only comes when you pass on, but she didn't embrace that nirvana, she had been locked in the sea of agony...She lightly shook her head at the music floating in her head as lyrics danced to and fro with delight of being written. And to write a song based on that feeling of....Once more she shook her head, focusing on her sister's lyrical song that never seemed to be organized yet in perfect harmony with it.

Magnus had literally felt like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar when Alice came in ready to scold him. There was just something about how she had grown on him that allowed her to boss him around a little. But truth be told he was hurt a bit when she said no more sweets for the week. Over 10,000 years old and he was letting someone so young stop him from having what he considered more precious than gold. "Fine but for the record being immortal tends to remove any issues of becoming fat." As Alice walked away towards the kitchen he turned to see the others file into his office. He took note that his daughter moved away from them all for some reason. He couldn't blame her when there was such a crisis going on and normal conversation seemed so unimportant right now. He was about to answer Morkari and Merik when a portal opened up (somehow) in the middle of his office with Atsuko landing on top of Merik. The sight alone just made Magnus scratch his head and wonder what was going on with the wards he set up to prevent anyone just dropping in unannounced like that. At the same time the spirits had finally come back with a report that the last mage had finally made it to the Nexus. Now it was time.....

"Sorry everyone but we have important things that have to be handled right now so the reunion will have to be delayed for now." With the snap of his fingers he cast a wide area teleport spell over every sentient being in the Nexus and had them moved to the meeting hall in Haven. Every single person whether they were mage or mythical creature were in attendance. Magnus, who was standing at the podium, raised his hand casting a sound amplifying spell to increase the sound of his voice.

"Attention everyone, I know you all may be wondering why have called you all here. At this time I can finally confirm to you that the increased Templar activity is true. For those who may be wondering why not just the mages are here since we have been there main target, well that is simple. For over 10 years there has been a plan to help those who wish to move back to the mortal world survive. Unfortunately this has been halted since half of the deaths that we can confirm were also from elfs, fairies, orcs, and the like. Because of this we are left with only two options left, to either abandon earth all-together or fight back and wipe out the Templars. Normally I would just make the decision for us all as that has always been has things have gone but this is different. I want to know what you all think that should be done since this decision will alter the course of history. Do we flee or do we go to war?" There it was all that he had been concerned about laid bare for all to see.

Yumiko stood with her arms crossed and she listened to the shadow mage voice his opinion on the version of the story that had just played out. Fortunately, the shadow mage did not seem the boring type and in no time at all had given quite an interesting response. Was he perhaps trying to test Yumiko? The thought of such a thing truly filled Yumiko with joy and she happily listened on. As the mage came to close his piece Yumiko seen something that she honestly didn't expect to. The young mage before her materialised the shadow dragon once again and made an indent in the floor across from her. This very much piqued her interest. It had been years since she had seen anyone as proficient in shadow magic, it was a dying form of magic and yet here she found a mage who not only used said magic but was proficient enough in said magic to preform Adept level spells. It was truly, captivating.

With a smile, Yumiko offered the boy her right hand to shake and at the same time repairing the indent made with merely a glance "Skotadi, a very interesting name. I'm Yumiko and it was a pleasure to meet you. Your shadow magic truely is a refreshing sight to behold". After shaking the mages hand Yumiko turned towards the door and as the shadow mage blinked she had disappeared from view.

Having exited the room Yumiko motioned for Elora to follow once more and the two set off down the hall towards Magnus' office. "It was a good show was it not Elora? Worthy of a little ..." Before Yumiko could finish her sentence she began to laugh and stopped her advance on the office with a smile "Looks like we're a little late, stand by for warping...". As Everyone began warping both Elora and Yumiko found themselves standing behind Magnus alongside Council members and other officials. "He does love being dramatic... wouldn't you agree Elora"

Merik was surprised by the sudden teleportation and separation from his friends. He looked around the room that seemed to hold what looked like almost every resident of the nexus. "Well I guess we did just sort of barge in but whatever" he listened to Magnus' speech and question. Merik wasn't one to be shocked but what Magnus had said was shocking. He always said not to confront the templars and only fight if you see no way out, but now to go to war seemed so much like a foreign concept that he couldn't understand the sudden change in attitude. He had to say something or else someone might panic "What are you talking about? Leave the mortal realm? Go to war? What is the reason youre trying to make us choose? I have family on the other side, my father, mother, Grandfather, and you're asking me if i want to give it up or fight. Like hell im going to sit here idle and let them destroy the peace that so many died to preserve. I dont know about the rest of you but I've been fighting and I'll continue to fight if it means we can all still live our lives the way we choose!" he said projecting his voice as loud as he could for everyone to hear. 'What the hell did i just do? Shit im screwed...Well i said what i meant. I dont want to lose either world to the Templars' while he thought this to himself he tried looking around for a familiar face to hopefully feel a little less awkward about the current situation.

As Alice was reaching into the cabinet in the kitchen she suddenly found herself teleported to the meeting hall standing next to Magnus. Before anyone could really question what just happened and why they were teleported. Magnus walked up to the podium and started his speech. When he finished Merik was the first to speak up and he was basically all for fighting, honestly, Alice was to. Not fighting back was basically letting them win.

“Hey squirt, before you do anything can you get off me?”

Atsuko looked down to see Merik under her. She puffed out her cheeks annoyed that he called her squirt.

“Seriously I don’t care how small you are falling from that height still hurts”

"I'm not small! and Don't call me squirt! I've gotten taller! I'm not small any-whoa!" Suddenly she felt herself levitate into the air.

“Also that’s Morkari, although he’s been exploring his mysterious side in Africa”

Atsuko had a stunned look on her face and glanced over to the stranger that apparently was actually Morkari. "No way...You're like a completely different person." She said amazed. "Wait, Africa?" Didn't they have a classmate that was from Africa? Speaking of classmates Atsuko noticed Hector and Roxie was nowhere to be seen.

“Atsuko you have to work on your portals. What if Mister and Misses Youngblood were in the middle of some intimate alone time, you’d have intruded and that would be horrible”

Atsuko looked over to Merik and tilted her head. "Huh...Oh!....actually..." Atsuko face went red and she looked to the side. "That actually happened once." Finally, he let her back down. Soon after Magnus teleported everyone to the meeting hall. Atsuko looked around and noticed Hector and Roxie standing next to her and in Roxie's hand was a pig? Roxie smiled At at Atsuko. "Hey, long time no see!" Before Atsuko could respond to her Magnus began his speech. When he asked what everyone wanted to do there was a little bit of silence at first. Merik was the first one to speak up. Atsuko smiled and yelled out. "Yeah! And giving up means we're just letting those Templars win! We can't let them push us around!"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roxie suddenly found herself standing next to Hector and Atsuko? "Did she actually get a little taller?" Roxie's attention went to Magnus when started his speech. When he was done Merik was the first to respond followed by Atsuko. Roxie smirked and walked up to the two and smacked Merik hard on the back. "Hell yeah, we're fighting back!" Roxie yelled out.

"pleasure to make your acquaintance Yumiko, and yes my name is a tad odd, however, I'm always glad to meet someone that appreciates my art," Skotadi said with the same friendly but cordial tone shaking her hand in the process. the woman began to leave soon after then simply disappear. Skotadi wasn't exactly surprised by this, after all, Yumiko did show up out of nowhere so it was rather poetic in his mind leaving him with a satisfied smirk on his face. dismissing the black cloak he wore only for shows the apparently tattered piece of clothing dissipated into flecks of black fabric floating in the air before completely disappearing into nothing. skotadi turned to leave himself only to get caught up by the warp spell, finding himself in the hall with everyone else. Skotadi though that this was an impressive way to get everyone in onto one place for the next part of this rather interesting story, well that's how he saw the entire thing, he did notice one thing, that woman Yumiko he was talking to only a few moments ago was up there with the council, making the whole strange meeting even grander, a fan of his work that was also on the council if he knew earlier then would have likely fumbled his words with excitement. as Magnus explained the situation skotadi grew more worried, he was a storyteller, not a fighter, he simply told history with whatever twists and edits were needed to make things more interesting. now he would be part of history that if he chose not to, then magic would disappear along with himself and all the stories he knew or would know. a few people began to speak out on their opinions on the whole thing Skotadi thought it would be his time to give his own "i think we all know the winners write the history books if we disappear and hide then is that not giving the templar exactly what they want? they can spin the stories however they want, and then magic is truly gone, so the only option is to be the winners and write the history ourselves"

Morkari

Morkari blinked as the warp went off, to find himself in a large meeting hall, which had been used a couple times when he went to school here. He listened to Magnus and then his friends who had spoken up, before pondering about the situation to himself. He certainly would rather fight, but he wasn't someone who voiced his opinion in situations where he had an audience... He also agreed with Skotádi about how the Templars would just make the story be whatever they saw fit.

He decided that even if the overall consensus was to hide, he'd try and find a group of people who were willing to fight, and join with them. He had no intentions of fighting the Templars by himself however, so if there was no such group, in the end he'd have to give up and leave with everyone else. He was, after all, still a fledgling Mage compared to even just his teachers.

Well, whatever happens will happen. Morkari wasn't one to worry about the future all to much. He just did what he felt was right at the time in situations like this. He looked around to unconsciously for his sister, wondering where the teachers were warped to, or if they were randomly mixed in with the students.

Merik was surprised at what was happening, people were speaking up about fighting back and whats more interesting is it was after he spoke up first. He continued to look around until a particular voice accompanied by a firm slap to his back caught his attention "Hey Roxie....did you have to hit my back? Also didn't know you and Hector were already back in the Nexus. We should grab a drink and catch up but first lets hear what Magnus has to say. Also there is something you're not gonna believe" he said turning to his once punk styled, now softened up friend "Also Hector congrats on the book, Its really good! I wish i could have finished it but a templar blasted it into next week before i could get halfway" he looked over at Hector who's style had also changed but he didnt think it looked bad at all, in fact it looked good. A different kind of hardcore in its own right. "So how's L.A when it doesn't have templars running around? Sorry i haven't been around to visit much, I've been busy tracking people for the council and performing in Europe. Hope i didn't miss anything exciting while i was away" he asked, trying to take some of the edge of the current situation off. "Oh Squirt! Sorry didn't see you there.....Just kidding but you're still pretty short. Anyway when are we gonna see you on TV? You made a promise that you would remember?" he smirked and patted the girls head.

Yuna was overwhelmed with shock upon reuniting with her friends. She stared at them, mouth agape with incredulity. First, she couldn’t believe that Minky changed so much within a year to the point that she didn’t recognize him until he revealed his ketchup hair. She couldn’t deny that it was indeed him, however, when she noticed Ratel on his shoulders. Second, she couldn’t believe that Merik just claimed she was using ‘auto-tune’. She felt her eye twitch in irritation and she was more than ready to fight him when her attention flung to her former roommate. A dramatic gasp escaped her lips. Yuna couldn’t believe she actually grew taller!

Unfortunately, she wasn’t given the chance to express any of her emotions when she, along with her friends, was warped into another place, following Magnus’ appearance.

The pink girl found herself surrounded by a huge sum of fellow mages and magical creatures. At the head of the hall was the headmaster, explaining something which appeared to be of great importance.

A cold sweat ran down her forehead after Magnus gave them a choice. It was either flee or war, and neither felt great. Yuna, no matter how much she claimed otherwise, has never excelled much in Magic Combat 101. Heck, it probably was her worst subject although she’d never admit she had one. Asking her to fight was a bit implausible, but on the other hand, she can’t just leave the mortal realm behind.

“Running away is for losers! I, as the number one superstar in the whole wide universe, says that we stay and fight! I can’t just leave my fans behind. How would Earth survive without me?!” she declared her stand, all in a dramatic manner.

Somewhere among the crowd, Lavigna felt proud upon hearing her former students choose to fight. She watched them grow in terms of magical and combat prowess first-hand so she could say with confidence that it wouldn’t be impossible for them to win this war. Sure, the vast majority of them may seem like dumbasses, but she could vouch that it wasn’t the case… except for a few, perhaps.

“Well, well, well, what empowering responses!” she exclaimed, sounding pleased by what she had heard. “Quite surprising, really, since not everyone of us were built to fight, hence, good ol’ Magnus gave us two options. It joys me that the vast majority wishes to fight, thus, allow me to give a brief report of what I know about our enemy.”

“I have been, erm, busy getting acquainted with the Templars this past year.” she briefly recalled a fun moment when she landed a perfect punch on a Templar sod’s face, “I can attest that they have indeed grown significantly bolder. I think there are three main contributing factors to this case. First is that their numbers have been shooting up at an alarming rate. Second, the Templars hold on the mortal realm is tighter than ever thanks to the fact that more and more people are falling for their cause. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that the Templars have the necks of every government on Earth. Lastly, and quite possibly the most alarming out of these three, is the fact that their technology is developing at a rapid pace.”

Lavigna took note of the various reactions which poured from the meeting attendees, and she couldn’t blame them if they decide to back out. However, it didn’t mean that she’d rather sit on a corner and twiddle her thumbs.

“Yes, right now the Templars are more dangerous than ever. Nonetheless, we are simply giving them time to further grow and develop if ever we chose to flee. I believe that we stand a chance to win this great war as long as we act fast and smart.”

Elora Arahaeldes
Elora moved closer to Yumiko when the mage produced another shadow dragon she relaxed a bit when it disspeared after striking at the ground infront of her charge. The mage introduced himslef as Skotadi which Elora thought was a very interesting name. It was rare now a days to see a shadow mage so she could see why Yumiko took an interest in him. After making introductions Yumiko exited the room and Elora fell instep behind her right as she sginaled her to.
They started heading towards Magnus' office, a route, at this point, she knew well. "It was a good show was it not Elora?" Elora was about to respond saying that is was indeed a good show. She had not seen anything like it before. Unfortuently, even with Yumiko's warning, Elora was not prepared for the warp. It took her a few seconds to balance herself before taking in her surroundings. They, along with literally everyone else, were in the meeting hall. The thing that took Elora off guard was the fact that she was up on the podium with the headmaster and his wife along wwith Yumiko.
Elora stood up tall with her shoulders back, the butt of her staff laid flat on the ground, standing up just above her head. She refused to make the battle mages look bad by not being alert and at attention Listening to Magnus' speech Elora coudln't help but feel saddened by the news. She had a little idea of what was going due to being in the order but she didn't know it was this bad. Most of her family, like her, lived in Haven so they weren't too affected by the Templars but there were some of her family that still lived in the human world. They liked to be protectors ofthe frests there. She didn't like the idea of them being in danger.
"He does love being dramatic, wouldn't you agree Elora?"
Elora glanced over aat Yumiko, "Dramatics are a necissity if you are trying to convince people to fght." Elora doubted that was Magnus' intention but his speech would tug at the heart strings of many here. As if on que one of her fellow mages shouted ot saying that he won't let the Templars destroy their peace. After him many more started speaking out. After one of her old professors, Lavigna, spoke out Elora nodded in areement. "We have a good chance at winning this fight as long as we are smart about it. If they are growing as fast as you fear then we have to act soon or we will only be left with the option to flee." Elora hated the idea of even fleeing from them and she didn't live in the human world.

"Everyone sure seems up to fight." He nods to himself while listening to everyone's opinion on things. He still hadn't found anyone he knew though, he seemed to have been warped into the meeting hall surrounded by current students and earlier graduates. So for the moment, he was keeping to himself. Besides, though he personally wanted to fight, he would have a good deal of trouble "escaping" from the Order if he really wanted to find a group of mages who did want to fight, if for some odd reason the decision was made to flee and not fight.

“Running away is for losers! I, as the number one superstar in the whole wide universe, says that we stay and fight! I can’t just leave my fans behind. How would Earth survive without me?!”
Morkari sighs, he didn't recognize that persons voice and, lets say 'style', he'd be deaf and blind... he turns towards Yuna and spots her, quite a bit closer than he thought she was. He move through the crowd over towards her and stops next to her, poking he shoulder.

"Hey Yuna, as extravagant as usual I see. What have you been up to this past year?" His hood still covering his hair, and some of his face, no doubt Yuna had no clue who the hell just snuck up on he, asking what she had been up to. Of course, Morkari had no inkling what so ever that she might find the situation creepy.

Hector went from being super relaxed (well trying to be anyway) to freaking out after being warped from the courtyard to the meeting hall in Haven with everyone else in the Nexus. To add it on top pretty much they were being asked to fight or run. And as it was looking how everyone else was reacting, including Roxie, Hector could only see this going one way. No one was willing to let the Templars have their way and he couldn't agree more with them since they had already attempted to kill him and Roxie on a number of occasions. Besides he kind of just started having a good career as a writer and he was pretty sure that writing "fantasy" novels in the Nexus wouldn't be that popular.

"Oh thanks," he said looking over to find Merik nearby. "Well sadly it has been nothing but non stop Templar attacks so LA isn't so good right now."

Magnus was split between concerned for the safety of the people he has been incharge of for thousands of years and proud that they would fight for the peace and safety of their own. It was only some thousands of years ago mages would of sold their own families to stay safe, now the the idea of it wasn't even an option. Composing himself so that he didn't start to weep out of happiness he focused on the task at hand.

"Well alright then it has been decided then," he said raising his hand to quiet everyone. "It seems that there was no need to ask then since no one wants to lose the mortal realm. And as I have already been given notice that the other races would like to join the fight as well we will be preparing for a war like the world has never seen. Starting today everyone will have a day to get all their affairs in order. I need to speak with my advisors to plan out a battle strategy and see what we will be doing but know that at the end of all this we will be victorious." With that over Magnus opened a portal leading to the council building waving for everyone who was on stage to follow him (and a few of his favorite students that were in the crowd).

Morkari noticed the wave seemed to include him and his friends oddly enough, and walked to up onto the stage, and through the portal. He wasn't gonna be left out on the war plans, heck no. He was a combat mage after all. Beyond that, he was part of Merlins Order. He was going to fight. The whole point of the Order was to fight against any threats to their lives. After exiting the portal, he was standing in the council building, somewhere he had only been a couple times. He followed Magnus and the rest to wherever they were going.

Jasmine

Jasmine saw her little brother walk through the portal without hesitating. "Dangit Mori, I knew you would, but I really wish you wouldn't have..." She sighs and follows after him. She wasn't going to let her brother be the only one of them to fight. She herself wasn't exactly bad at combat, though she knew that most likely, she'd be in the back, healing and protecting the wounded. She was specialized in white magic after all, and knowing a good bit of Dark magic, and a tiny bit of necromancy always helped her deal with curses, poisons, and decaying spells and the like.

Merik watched as the portal on stage opened and he felt a tug in his chest, like if he didnt go he would regret it for the rest of his life. He quickly turned to Hector, Roxie, and Atsuko "Hey guys i dont know about you but im going. Even if you guys decide to stay behind we should still grab a drink later and catch up" he said before sliding his bag over his shoulder and floating into the air. He shot forward for the portal noticing he was just behind Morkari and Jasmine. He landed just on the other side "Hey you two, you didn't think i was gonna let you guys go alone did you?" he said smirking at Morkari before turning and smiling at Jasmine "I have to do this and if you think about it at least we will have some familiar faces around right?" he was getting excited but he also knew that this was his duty. He had to fight for both worlds because he knew the Templars won't care who gets hurt as long as they're the winners. 'What would you do grampa' he asking himself before following Magnus.

Misaki Himegami
Misaki looked at the portal open, remaining quiet and silent with everyone talking. Not many noticed her and she just followed everyone into the portal to see what was in there. She didn't seem to care at the moment, and just messed with her starglobe. That seemed more fascinating than what was being said, she just seemed downtrodden by a sudden bout of nerves getting to her. She knew Chouko, her step uncle, and step aunt were in the crowd as well, and looked towards Chouko with a pained expression. She was hurting on the inside and she wanted to let out the emotions being held up.

Chouko Qalli
Chouko held her bag while putting her hair behind one of her ears. She was a bit bored with all the talking and such, she wanted to see her twin and found her with a pained expression. Without hesitation, she pushed her way through the crowd to her twin and wrapped her in a hug, humming a tune that soothed her frayed nerves. While visions and such never seemed to rattle her twin's spirit, she knew better than most of what really was happening. She was always happy to know she had music magic since she could soothe her twin's frantic and frayed nerves to calmness. She didn't do it often, and her twin didn't rely on it either, toughing it out with life. Already, lyrics for a haunting melody rolled and churned in her head. She pushed past it and, reaching into her bag, pulled out a lace mask like she was wearing before placing it on her twin's face, doing all the strap and whistles to secure the mask. Her twin released the hug and touched the mask before pulling her into another one, finally letting her emotions out with crying.
"Let's hear what the cards have said, or at least a summary of them."
"Three futures; two set while another floats to be realized. Two have Magnus and Zain dead while the last does not have such death. Hope lies with the last. The first, death comes to us in this realm while the second is isolation from the realm of mortals, and the last, the cards do not seem to know what is in that direction. They do not give details of how Zain and Magnus died, nor would my paintings. Perhaps...a tune could help the cards with aligning with details but even then, the call may not happen."
'I don't like those futures but this is something Misaki could only do. She maybe able to tell Magnus about the card vision or not.'

Zain Qalli
Zain followed Misaki's aura to where many auras were at and he began to feel his eyes burn with how many auras his sights was trying to pick out. He soon looked down and closed his eyes, before feeling a coolness on his eyelids. Azura must've seen his trouble and was helping him. He took comfort in her aura and how her water danced on his skin like it did. It wasn't threatening, like on their wedding, but in a comforting way.
"Chouko found Misaki and they're talking. Seems like the poor girl had a good amount of readings done before she could get here."
Azura's voice came and he slowly nodded, keeping silent on what he knew, before getting a rough pull on his hair.
"You know better than to hide something from me, husband of mine. Misaki tripped that water recording and I heard every word said. Don't even think about trying to be a martyr if it comes down to it, I will make sure you live to see the morrow."
Her hushed voice didn't carry since she made sure the sound was muffled by surrounding them with water.
"I wasn't planning on it. But since Chipapa is no longer with us, it falls to Misaki to be the seer for us and she's so young as well. She doesn't have the amount of experience to tell anyone, other than who she knows, her visions. Its not fair. Dark and dreary days are ahead of us, and we have to act to prevent what futures Misaki had foretold.

Azura Indukala-Qalli
Azura had been at the academy before the word went out for everyone to come back, she was helping Zain with somethings before those things were swept underneath all sorts of planning and strategies. She had been in her teaching room when the recording bubble went off, sending her a recorded message of Zain and Misaki talking about futures and such. She didn't like how Misaki was talking but with how many times the girl had card visions over the years, it was guaranteed for some desensitization to happen with how gruesomely accurate the callings could be for her. She then walked out of the teaching room and towards Zain's location, having made a permanent water crystal to be on his person, and it was the center piece of his ring. She saw he was having trouble with all the auras in there and pressed a cool wet towel over his closed eyes. She saw the tearful reunion of the twins and smiled before her expression became close to deadpan, knowing her husband was going to keep the knowledge to himself. But to hear how Chipapa was no longer with them, it could either mean the old sage was either in hiding or dead, it was hard to know that about your good friend. It was hard to fathom to let Misaki try to fill Chipapa's shoes. There was no way she would be able to do that, not without someone that could help guide her.

Chouko Qalli
Chouko dragged her twin with her as she saw Yuna. She smiled and limped/ran over to the girl, she wanted to know what she's done after not seeing her for a year.
"Yuna~! How are you~? What have you done after graduating? I've....You go first."
She said, not wanting to get the girl down if she accomplished more than her.

Hector watched on as some of his classmates went on and followed Magnus through the portal. In all honesty he was split between leaving now to get his affairs in order and going with them. Although going with the rest winning out in the end since he could handle his work anywhere and anytime. "Hold on you two," he said after snatching up Roxie and Wilbur into his arms. Leaping into the air a bridge of bones formed in front of them leading to the portal. Once they landed inside with the others he let Roxie down before she gave him that look she gives when he does something she didn't ask for.

Finally as everyone has finished filing into the council room Magnus closed the portal to prevent any unwanted followers. Before he was gonna get things started he moved over to the table that they normally had council meetings at and expanded it turning it into a large round table so everyone had a place to sit, well except for a certain group of people that is. The table was still a bit large so he expanded the size of the room to make things more comfortable. Once he was done the other council members were about to take a seat when Magnus held his hand up to stop them.

"Before we get started discussing about the situation and what action should be taken next I must address something important. As we are moving into more of a war phase and the council was formed more for the purpose of maintaining peace I will dismissing all members of the council effective immediately." This had clearly had an effect on the council, well ex council now.

"Lord Magnus you can't be serious when we have been dedicated to serving you and our people for many years. And what? Do you expect to replace us with them who have only been a year out of the academy."

"That is of no concern of you from now on just continue to remember who is the one who makes the final decisions around here. And if it is a matter of age that you concerned about you would do well to remember that all of you are still more like mere children to me. Besides we need some new blood around here and now seems like the best time. Oh and so you don't think that I have nothing for you to do please continue making sure that all healthcare, housing, and food supplies are kept up to date. With all these changes you are still the most reliable to deal with it." Magnus no longer anything left to speak to them and they knew there was nothing they could say to change his mind so they went off to do their duty.

"Now everyone please sit down we have much to talk about and limited time. First I would like to address that after today every mage will become very busy so don't expect to have time to relax on a beach drinking margaritas all day. Second I have made a decision to announce to the world of our return and to inform the people of our situation. Before anyone tries to say that that is a bad idea I have thought it through and it would be even harder to kill us if so many people in the world know who we are and are on our side. With that out any ideas, concerns, or information anyone might have?

Alice followed Magnus into the portal and sat down. Whenever one had arrived and seated Magnus dismissed the council which Alice wondered how great of an idea that was but she didn't say anything maybe it was for the best but his next comment did make her look at him and question just what the heck he was thinking. "Magnus are you sure that seems a bit-" Before Alice could finish Seiko came in and started going off on Magnus.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When Magnus teleported everyone Seiko stopped the incoming spell from teleporting her. She didn't feel like going. Instead, she went to the middle of her room and watched the speech through her crystal ball. Seiko had dealt with the templars before befoe she started to let herself age. They were ruthless sometimes but she always got by it was just something mages got used to. So you would think someone like Seiko wouldn't flinch at people like them especially since she never showed fear. She'd even stand in front of a horde of dark fae and not bat an eye. But she does flinch something very abnormal for her. When the speech was over Seiko stared at a picture that was sitting on the table. A sad smile appeared on her face as she stared at it. Her crystal ball continued to show the events happening and then suddenly something Magnus said caught Seiko's attention.

"Second I have made a decision to announce to the world of our return and to inform the people of our situation."

"What?!" Seiko stood up staring at the crystal ball in shock.

"Before anyone tries to say that that is a bad idea I have thought it through and it would be even harder to kill us if so many people in the world know who we are and are on our side."

"That fool! Not while I'm alive!" Seiko made a portal and walked into the meeting room with her cane in hand and her Pheonix followed her through. "Are you insane Magnus?! You can't let people know about magic! Do you realize the chaos and danger that can cause! Over my dead body will I allow you to make such an idiotic decision!" Seiko yelled. "Oh don't try that I'm older then you crap on me. I'm only 100 years younger than you Magnus. Your age doesn't mean much to me."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roxie watched as people started to go through the portal. Ok, sure she said they should fight and all but did she really want to sit through some boring meeting? Before she could even make decide though she felt herself get picked up. She looked up at Hector. "Why you! Damnit, Hector! Put me down! Who told you to pick me up huh?!" When he finally put her down she gave him that "look". "You always do this! Maybe I don't want to come to this meeting...or would just make me go anyway? Watch your answer or you'll be sleeping in the pig's bed tonight." Roxie reluctantly sat down next to Hector and listen as the meeting started. Honestly, she didn't care if people knew or not. She was fine with it either way. But Seiko and apparently even Alice questioned it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Atsuko sat down and watched as a scene began to unfold. To be honest she was all for the idea! It would make life easier but Seiko on the other hand....was not happy at all.

Merik smirked when Magnus dismissed the old council members to make room for the new people present. He tried his best to hid it but gladly took a seat when one cleared up “Sorry sir, I think I incited a revolution” he said remembering everyone speak up after he voiced his opinion toward Magnus’s choices given “I just couldn’t sit still after I heard that” he bowed his head to the headmaster apologetically. He waited for others to take their seats quietly until Seiko in all her old age glory teleported in and began to give Magnus the lecture of a lifetime, or in their cases lifetimes or so she alluded to. He wanted to keep quiet but he couldn’t help but chuckle a little bit “Sorry this is too funny, I mean strange to hear that our headmaster is older than her but still funny to watch” he continued to chuckle for another moment before calming himself “Sorry I mean no disrespect grand elder” he said toward the old woman. Merik thought about Magnus’s proposal to tell the world about magic but all he could do was remember his grandfathers words 'No one can know of magic's existence. It would cause wide spread panic and destroy the worlds internal infrastructure' he snapped back to the situation at the round table. "Magnus sir, telling the mundane world that magic and therefor mages exist would upset the worlds balance. Governments would take up arms against us and civilians might start attacking their neighbors out of fear and panic. If we want to lessen casualties on both sides there has got to be a different solution. The templars would only use that confusion and panic to fuel their cause and quite possibly their forces" he said remembering his fathers years in the UN peace keeping core. He was glad to be able to use that information somewhere but he didn't think it would be here.

skotádi follow through the portal with everyone else deciding to keep to the back for the moment since while his usual outfit was extravagant to a extent as it was designed to draw attention to himself along with his odd eyes he found it prudent to not be the centre of attention or distraction anyone. Without any words spoken skotádi listened in on what Magnus was saying but to the mages shock not only had he decided to disband and dismiss the council, but also expose magic to the mortal world, to him this was a horrible idea. And would either cause mass panic, but also jealous and in turn hatred for what they do not possess. He was about to voice his opinion when another woman how seemed to appear out of no where to berate Magnus had gotten to it first and apparently was of a similar age. Seeing it fit to back this person up and with some confidence that he wasn’t the only one to take issue with this. “I do apologise for my... rashness but I do not think your idea is the best while yes. it might bring use SOME allies it could very well do the opposite causing fear and panic a perfect hook for more to side with the Templar put of fear for there lives and there lifestyles. And too we must remember all life at its core, is jealous of what power it doesn’t have and if it can not claim it then.. destroy it. Because it is everything nature to do so,”this little line was one of skotádi favourite excerpts form a story he had picked up a few years back while he was still a student here and it held weight with without that drive no tale would have conflict. “I am by no means saying you Magnus are wrong in what your doing as you have had many more life times than ourselves in both knowledge and skill but sometimes, it might not alway be that what you say is right” while skotádi spoke he couldn’t help but show the story in a silent rendition, small figures of shadow only a few centimetres tall appeared on the table, greatly detailed, one was a woman holding a staff infront of a small crowd with a wave of the staff the “ground” burst into life with ebony coloured plants. The scene changed. The staff wielder was there as another figure approach a small wordless conversation the staff wielder waving it once more causing life to sprout again, this scene played over and over faster and faster, until the staff wielder looking increasingly tired simple waved the other figure away. The other figure yelled wordless insults at the staff wielder. Once again the scene changed the staff wielder backing way form a angry mod of people, quickly she was killed impaled by the figure she had dismissed before, who grabbed the staff triumphantly only for them to be killed by another ebony figure the mod descending into infighting until tiny bodies black bodies piled up around the stuff not a single one alive as skotádi finished his remake they disappeared.

Morkari

Morkari shakes his head at Merik, and watches Skotádi's shadowy play before giving his own opinion. "Well, if people seriously think that the things we have on us, are what causes the magic, all we'd need to do is give it to em and walk away. We all know that staves and the like are purely for ease of focus. We can honestly find another. After awhile, people will realize this. Of course there will be those few who think we are deceiving them, but that is just how humans are. Not all of us are exactly the smartest beings in the universe. Why do you think things like conspiracy theories exist when most of them are ridiculously outrageously impossible?" He shrugs. "We will never win over everyone. Humans are dumb like that. Refuse to believe whats right in front of their face. And Merik, how many people now a days you think would actually jump at the chance to welcome us, purely cause of Anime, Manga and the like? That's at least a good third of the world right now; and a third of the last two thirds just won't care either way. The rest are the ones who will never be swayed, or will just take some persuading. At least I believe so. So many people these days actually wish magic was real, even if they themselves are unable to use it."

He looks at Merik and Skotádi as he talks. He doesn't mince words, but he also doesn't denounce them as wrong either; He just believes it isn't quite as much of a problem to tell people as they believe. It just needs to be done in the correct way to not cause a massive panic. "Headmaster, I assume you have thought of a way to announce this to the world without causing panic or a large disruption of some kind?" He turns towards Magnus. He has completely ignored the old sorceress that appeared in front of them.
