The Overlord
Introduction
It has been a year since the students of the Nexus Academy have graduated going their separate ways in life. During this time things had been progressing in ways that no mage could of ever seen. Unbeknownst to most the Templar Order has been secretly working on a way to track down mages on a worldwide scale. They had started small by targeting some one at a time to not rouse suspicion from anyone. Even going so far as to attack the rogue mages first since they posed the bigger threat in their eyes. There new methods had become so effective that they had 93.2% success rate of killing the target. The surviving mages had fled into the Nexus but have not been seen since most were still considered criminals to their own kind. Because of this no knows what they are doing to find them when every mage is very careful to appear as normal as possible in public.

As time has passed more and more mages have been killed including those under the protection of the mages council. The numbers have started to increase rapidly every week far beyond what would be considered normal. After a meeting of the mages council it was decided that access to the mortal world would be limited and all mages were informed that should stay on guard and return to the Nexus at their earliest convenience. There wasn't enough room for everyone to stay there forever (for the time being anyway) but they needed to account for everyone in person first and inform them of the situation. Magnus had become especially worried since the numbers of the dead were starting to mimic how they were during the dark ages.

Somehow or someway the Templars must be stopped lest mages will have to flee from the mortal world forever and never return.

Morkari

Standing outside the school, Morkari was going through some fond, and some quite funny, memories of his time here back when he was a student. "Hmm,I swear, this place doesn't age at all. Magic still constantly amazes me to this day..." He sighs and stretches and anyone looking, would probably do a double take, thinking they saw a Honey Badger for a split second standing there stretching instead. "Let's go see Jasmine and Soren, shall we Ratel?" He glances at the Honey Badger on his shoulder. "Sure, why not." She yawns at an attempt to feign non-interest. "haha, alright. Wonder what she'll think of our new friend..." A very bight Blue Gecko decides to appear just then, crawling onto Morkari's hooded head.

He had recently, while in Africa, taken to wearing a dark blue, almost black, hooded cloak most of the time. He wasn't even sure anyone but his sister would immediately recognize him either, seeing as the effects of Jasmine's soul being a part of him for most of his current life have degraded a bit. Actually, it'd be impossible to mistake him for female anymore. The only thing that didn't really change much, was his voice. After looking around for a few more moments, he went inside and walked towards his sister's room, passing by new students as he walked. He didn't really pay attention to them, though they were wondering who the heck this guy was. He definitely wasn't a teacher... was he a Graduate?

As he was walking past the students, he began to realize that at some point, one of the effects that had gone away over the past year, was his semi-short height... He smiled to himself as he thought of this. "Heh, Maybe even Jasmine won't recognize me right away than..." He sighs inwardly and keeps walking. When he got to his sisters room, he realized she wasn't there at the moment. He smiled mischievously after a moment, and waved his hand over the ward she had placed during the second year they were at the school. He was one of the few people that she had it attuned to, meaning all he had to do was pour a bit a magic into it and it easily let him past, much to the astonishment of some nearby students who knew how that ward worked... He walked in, closed the door which reset the ward, and waited in the spot he always did when he visited her during after school hours.

Jasmine

Jasmine was busy with a few students who stayed to ask a few questions after class. While did enjoy teaching, she sincerely hoped that after her 1 year vacation starting soon, she'd be able to come back and teach students about Wite Magic, instead of she had chosen as a secondary Magic, the Dark Arts. She was walking back to class, going over a few things in her mind, when she passed a couple students whispering to each other about some strange guy going through a teachers ward. She was too busy thinking to herself to really think about exactly what that meant, until she got to her room, and noticed the ward had been passed through just a few minutes earlier. She immediately summoned out her Wakizashi, wondering who it was inside her room, and how they managed to pass through the ward unscathed and without destroying it, all the other teachers that were able to pass through, were somewhere else.

She slowly opened the door while readying some magic. Walking through the door, she saw a hooded figure sitting cross legged in the middle of the floor of her room, not facing her. Noticing he seemed to not realize she was there, she began casting a spell when suddenly the figure spoke... "Is that how you greet me, after an entire year of not seeing each other?" the figure chuckled and turned around, removing the hood, revealing Blood Red hair, and a smile that said 'haha, got you good.'

Morkari

Morkari was sitting with his back to the door, when he noticed Jasmine coming into the room. He smiled evilly and just sat there a while longer, until he felt a spell being readied. He spoke up just as she began casting. "Is that how you greet me, after an entire year of not seeing each other?" He chuckled and turned around, removing his hood, revealing Blood Red hair that he always dyed that way, and his evil, mischievous grin.

He saw her shocked face and finally couldn't hold in his laughter anymore. He laughed hard enough that he almost bent over double. He knew he was DEFINITELY getting that spell cast at him now, but he couldn't help it, her look was PRICELESS! He cast a ward as the spell his sister had started casting, finished casting and was sent straight towards him. "Haha, Always able to dish it out, but not take it, huh Min?" He laughed as another spell came flying at him, which destroyed his ward this time, he dodged the next spell, and continued laughing while dodging the spells sent towards him. He knew that if she was being serious however, he'd be dead already. That's not to say there wasn't a few close shaves of course...

Jasmine

When she saw the grin and hair, she stopped casting the spell in shock, until he started laughing, then the spell was finished casting in an instant, and sent flying at her idiot of a brother, followed by a barrage of more spells.
"Haha, Always able to dish it out, but not take it, huh Min?" THAT was the last straw, she continued firing spells until her room was a complete wreck and didn't stop there. That idiot brother is going to see EXACTLY what it is I can dish out. "You idiot! You nearly scared me to death! I can dish it out can I? WELL! Let's see if YOU can take what is dished out to YOU, you imbecile!" She continued fire spells at Morkari for a good 10 minutes before she was drained of her anger. Though he still had that stupid grin on his face, she was too glad to see him too keep trying to kill him. "Ugh, you are way too similar to me, even for a brother. How are we not twins..." She shakes her head and walks up to her brother, hugging him for a few minuted before letting go and demanding he tell her all that he did for the past year.

Morkari

After a good 10 minutes or so of Morkari dodging and blocking spells thrown at him by his sister, she finally stopped her anger drained out. Though he still wore his evil grin, knowing he had won this round. "Ugh, you are way too similar to me, even for a brother. How are we not twins..." Morkari just shrugs, and hugs his sister back when she walks up to hug him. After she demands to know what he has been doing this past year, he sits back down where he was when she came in, and waited for her to sit across from him, before beginning to recount all he had done the past year, including the training he had done the couple months before he had come back, but after leaving Africa's Savannah's. He showed her his Tiger Claw gloves that he had been trained to use by another mage he had come across in his travels. The way he concealed them, they looked Red, finger-less gloves until he wanted to use them. He even had had them enchanted so that he could slash at someone or something, and still 'hit' them if he missed bu a few centimeters or so. Basically, they had a magical extension to them, that was invisible. The easiest way to explain it was this: Take a Sword, or any kind of blade at all, now add a 'magic blade' over top of it, the same shape, only slightly longer and larger.

As he talked, Jasmine noticed a movement inside one of his sleeves, only to see a Gecko pop out from it. Morkari then introduced his newest friend. "Her name is Jade. I found her crawling on a small Jade statue near the end of my stay in Africa. I gave her a small bit of chocolate I happened to have, and she crawled up onto my head and refused to move from there... I guess technically her name is 'Chocolate Jade' because of that, but Jade is easier to use."

After awhile longer, Morkari began yawning. "Ah, Mind if I stay here for tonight, Min? I haven't had time to find anywhere to stay yet..."

Jasmine

After Morkari introduced the Gecko, and finished his story, they talked for awhile longer before her brother began to yawn, and asked if he could sleep here for the night. She gave an exasperated sigh and shook her head. "You really need to plan things better you know... Fine, you can stay for tonight, but tomorrow we are going out to see if we can find you somewhere else to stay." She pulls a pillow and blanket from a nearby closet and hands them to Morkari. "You can sleep on the couch. I don't have an extra room or anything, this isn't supposed to have guest rooms, it's a teachers dorm room after all..." She sighs and gets up. "Come on, let's go get something to eat before it gets to late." She walks to the door and waits for her brother to catch up before opening it and heading towards cafeteria.

Merik wondered the halls of the academy for a while looking back on his years at the school and even remembering something he thought he'd forgotten. Eventually he found himself in the cafeteria with all the new students as well as some students he had the pleasure of knowing while he was also still a student. He was disappointed by how quiet the place was even though the school year was more or less in full swing but he could feel a sense of sadness....no that wasn't the right feeling, it was fear or dread and he didnt like it. He still had his other work equipment with him so he figured "Why not! These kids need something to smile about" and he went to work to get set up. He put his bag on the ground and unzipped it and pulled out a stool that shouldn't have fit inside as well as a few other things like throwing knives, bowling pins, and some different styles of playing cards. He started off by standing on the stool to get up as high as he could "Come one, come all to watch this Nexus alumni perform some dazzling tricks and stunts that should not be done by the faint of heart. To start off who wants to volunteer for a simple card magic trick?" he yelled as students started looking in either confusion or curiosity. He chose a young female student to pick a card "Alright now remember that card, show your friends, but dont you dare show me. Alright you got it remembered? Perfect! Now you may think im going to do just a normal card trick but that would be boring right, well instead im going to have one of you talented wind mages throw not only this deck of cards in the air but also these bowling pins" he said before handing a willing student to throw the two sets of objects into the air. The student was getting into it just as much as he was and he loved it. The kid threw them up and scattered the cards in the air while holding and moving the bowling pins in a circle in both directions. As the cards fluttered through the air he held out a blind fold "Now this would be boring if i could see the cards right! Well how about i do it blindfolded. Now i again caution all those watching now, DONT TRY THIS AT HOME!" he said as the students chimed in at the end line. He wrapped the blindfold around his head and then untied it "Wait just one card is boring. How about i get four more students to come and pick their own cards out of these other very separate and very different decks" he said as like the first girl, four other students came up to choose their cards. Merik got the same student helping him the do with the new decks what he did with the first and throw them up with the other cards. "Alright not we can get this party started!" he wrapped the blindfold on his head and brandished six throwing knives. He threw the first and pinned one card to a bowling pin, and then another and another until all six knives were all holding what looked to be their own separate cards. He took off the blind fold and looked to the very helpful student "Can you very gently let them all down now?" he asked with a thankful smile. The student did so and when everything was on the ground Merik focused and floated everyone of his stray playing cards back to their own individual decks on the ground in front of him. The students were silent for a moment after it happened before they started clapping "Oh come on that wasn't even the trick but i appreciate the applause. No, what we're really all waiting for is to see if i actually got these five wonderful students cards right, right?" he said allowed with his arms up trying to get a good rise out of the crowd. The students cheered and clapped and whistled like he hoped and then he levitated the six bowling pins that he hit with knives over to him "Alright now its time for the big reveal..." he said as he removed the knives from five of the bowling pins and collected the cards. He showed them to the students "Are these your cards?" he asked waiting for their response. The students looked ay him a little confused and some disappointed "Oh sorry it doesn't always work im very sorry to you all. I bet you're all wondering what the sixth pin is for though right?" he said as he levitated the last bowling pin around him in a circle "Well how about we see what we have here" he pulled the knife out of the pin and took off what looked like five mismatched cards from different decks, the same decks he has neatly piled up in front of him. He then floated the five cards separately in front of each of the volunteering students "I believe these are your cards" he said with a devilish grin as all the students cheered and clapped and whistled louder than they had earlier. "You were all wonderful but quick we gotta get it all cleaned up, Your teacher's here!" he said as he saw one of his old professors walking in with someone he didn't quite recognize. 'I wonder who that could be...' he said before levitating all of his equipment into his bag.

Morkari & Jasmine

Walking into the cafeteria, Morkari and Jasmine noticed something was going on, or at least had just happened. They both looked around, and seeing no one was hurt, and in fact, seemed to be pretty up beat, they shrugged and went to get something to eat. The two talked about random small stuff while they got there food. After sitting down and eating for a few minutes, Morkari suddenly yelped and stood up. His sister laughed, saying something about how it served him right for earlier. Morkari just smiles awkwardly and sits back down. All the while, most of the nearby students wondered who this strange guy was, and what his relationship with their teacher was.

One of the bolder students, came up and decided to ask. "He's my little brother. He also went to school here, at the same time as I started teaching." This surprised a good bit of the students, as they had all been told siblings that both have magic was rare. Some of them even had older or younger siblings that weren't born with the ability. The students began piling around, asking what it was like, having a sibling who also used magic, how well they got along with each other, whether they had ever cast spells at each other during arguments, etc, etc.

After awhile, Jasmine waved her hand. "Alright, enough questions. I haven't talked to my brother in almost a year. And you all need to finish up, or you won't have much time to eat." Morkari sighs as they all pout and walk away, giving his sister a thankful look. He still was pretty introverted after all. It's just the School was someplace he was familiar with, and felt like a second home to him at this point. He was able to be a bit more outgoing here. "Morkari, Jade's eating your dessert..." He looks down, and the gecko was indeed eating his chocolate pudding. "haha, no worries, I hadn't actually gotten it for myself to begin with, Min." He continues chatting with his sister while they eat, talking about this and that. Morkari also asking about the other teachers.

After finally packing up all of his stuff he zipped his duffel bag up and slung it over his shoulder. Merik couldn't shake the urge to go and say hello to his old "Professor J"so he strolled over to where she and the unfamiliar individual were sitting and put his bag on a chair and sat down "Hey Professor J, hows the year been treating you? You're still as pretty as ever" he said with a sly smile before looking toward the hooded person sitting watching a strange blue lizard eat pudding. He couldnt figure it out but he felt like this person was oddly familiar, like he knew the person "Hey Im Merik, I used to be a student to the professor until last year. Its a pleasure to meet you" he said holding out his hand for a hand shake. As he waited for the mans reply he still had some of the students coming up to him asking for his autograph "Oh you flatter me but im not even famous.....buuut okay ill sign it for you" he said before signing the young students board and then handing it back to her "Now remember, dont try that trick at home or without any sort of practice. It took me a few years to get that one right" he said before sending them off to be with their friends or eat or whatever they were doing before this. He turned back to Jasmine and her hooded friend "So teach whats new with you? I heard some explosions coming from the staff living area, you weren't hurt were you?" he asked half concerned knowing what has been going on in the world. He hated Templars and The Order of Discordia but he had already decided not to confront them if he doesn't have to.

Morkari & Jasmine

Morkari watched as Merik walked up and offered his hand, introducing himself. Morkari chuckled inwardly to himself. Yea, if even his own sister didn't immediately recognize him, Merik certainly wouldn't. He lowered his hood, revealing the long, Blood Red hair that was pretty much unique to him, and a sly grin that was an exact copy of his sisters when she was pulling a prank. "Hey Merik, been awhile hasn't it." He shook Merik's hand while grinning from ear to ear. Jasmine just sighed and shook her head. "Yes Merik, I'm fine, my idiot brother here decided to surprise me earlier. The result was that noise you heard."

Morkari was still sitting there with a big grin on his face, waiting to see how Merik would react. Depending on how he did, Morkari was DEFINITELY planning on pull a few pranks on his fellow students once they got back...
"Mori, I know that look, don't do anything stupid alright? I can already see the gears turning in your head, readying another dumb prank..."
"Eh? Dumb prank? Really Min? You don't have any room to talk you know, pulling 'dumb pranks' the entire time you went to school here."
They went back and forth a few more times before remembering Merik was there and apologizing. "Here, Merik, sit down so we can have a chat, haven't talked for an entire year after all." Morkari pats the table next to him while saying this.

Merik, while not actually being related to anyone at the academy, still felt very at home. The atmosphere at the academy just always felt right and he was glad that he wasn't being ostracized like he was before his time at the academy. "Morkari you really cant talk about pranks especially at our age. We need to start acting as dignified as your sister here" he said halfheartedly as he let out a chuckle "Although id love to hear a little bit about the younger Professor Yukarai. We should grab drinks together some time and we can share stories" he didnt ever tell anyone but he had always had a crush on Professor J but he was to afraid trust anyone, even her. He looked to the blue lizard chomping down on pudding "So whats the story there, you pick up a stray or did you turn someone into a gecko? I hated when you put those gummy spiders in the cookies that time you entered a bake sale. I didnt see them till i took a big bite and you laughed while i threw up all over the place. I really hope this isn't your new sense of humor" he said remembering one of the pranks Morkari had pulled on him in their last year "Never again am i going near one of your baked goods" he shuddered at the thought of his old classmate baking. He laughed with them and even relaxed a bit more than he usually would "So is what i heard true? Are the Templars really getting brave?" he whispered in a serious tone to the two on the other side of the table "I mean i ran into some Templars and Rogues all year but i never had any issues with them" he was sure that the ones he'd seen and even confronted weren't nearly as dangerous as some of the residents around the town had been saying. He was starting to get concerned for not just them but all the other mages still out in the world.

Misaki Himegami
Misaki looked at the academy with expression likened to being stoic and walked towards it, she packed only what she needed before fleeing to the academy. She had thanked her stars and magic for keeping her safe thus far but her cards point to something sinister. They never reveal what it is nor do her paintings allow her such a glimpse into the future. Grim and bleak her paintings had become, death and sorrow follow ever in the wake of these mysterious deaths. She had done three readings before she left. All three had five cards; Judgement, Justice, The Star, The High Priestess, and the World. She had come to associate the world and high Priestess cards with Magnus and Zain. Something pertains to them, but what it was, eludes her mind. She may have to confer with Chipapa with these readings to determine how best to proceed with dealing with the Templars. Or try to do it on her own. She had to do something. One reading had her calling card, The Moon, and she knew she had something to do with the future. Two of the three readings were bleak and bland, but the last held a small ray of hope, and she will seize upon that hope to change the outcome of what the readings say!
"The future is obscure to us as it would be to Chipapa. Let's not forget to mention the explosion you caused in the mortal realm to get me back from those templars, you caused half the warehouse district to explode with how much power you put behind that miniature star!"
"Along with the numerous Rogues in the area as well, dealing drugs to humans and other drug dealers."
"Hate it when you have to bring that up. But really, two templar wannabes and you walked out of there with only your skin on. Granted they were newbies to the whole order thing but lest we forget, we would've been dead within a second with trained templars. The highly dangerous kind as well, and I'm glad you used the moon card to make it so no one could get to where we were in the warehouse district when you collapsed in an alleyway. But...we need to change the future. Two readings had the moon on the side but not within the reading itself. Lets just get into the academy and see who's all here before trying to work on the changing the future."
"Agreed, Blathnaid."
Misaki said, having conversed with her familiar, and continued walking to the Academy. Her cards were in a pouch on her right side, while her starglobe as attached to her left. The miniature star was a prototype spell that she was trying to attune to with damage and healing but so far, its only caused damage. And the warehouse was the only time she actually used the spell. She was going to get it with what havoc she's caused but oh well. She deserved the lecture anyway.

Magnus Youngblood
It had been a long day of sending and receiving messages for Magnus. He had not even the time to check in with Alice or Minerva about how they were doing. Of course they had come by to see him but he had been so focused that he only had could get the words "good morning" and "I love you" out before he went back to work. With so much that had been happening if at some point he didn't find himself being force fed he might have passed out from exhaustion. He was sorry for neglecting them but with days passing and mages in so much danger he didn't wanna stop before everyone was notified to come to the Nexus. He had been doing this every day for the passed three days since word came back from the Order of Merlin about increased Templar activity. And when those reports also came back of word that no survivors were found it reminded him of the old times. Back when mages and all magical beings were constantly on guard wary of the next attack, not sure if they might die that day or the next.

But there was one good thing to be said that he did finally finish once classes had ended. Even better the spirits had informed him that there had been people showing up in mass in the Nexus since he sent out the message. He was so happy to know that his effort was actually doing some good. Now what came next he could only hope wasn't gonna result in having to have everyone leave the mortal realm forever.

"Alice, Minerva? Where could they both be?" Now that he was done he wanted to give the women in his life some attention before he had to summon everyone to a meeting explaining the situation better.

Hector Morgan
The past few days have been a bit more active than he was expecting. What had started as a nice day out with Roxie celebrating the 1 million book sold since it was published turned into a constant series of attacks. It had started with just a templar or two who would track them down while they were isolated and away from sight. After the first few attacks they started to get more bold with their methods by trying to make it look like an accident. After three days of nearly dying he was seriously considering taking some time off from his work. Roxie pretty much had the same idea and it was timely since they were sent a summon from Magnus that all mages need to return to the Nexus. And because of this they both can be found sitting in the castle courtyard. And in this moment Hector really was thinking about all the things that lead up to this moment in his life.

"Hey what do you think the big shots plans for taking down the templars is going to be?" he asked Roxie. "With all these attacks You would think that they had some kind of plan to stop the attacks at least."

Zain Qalli
Zain sighed as he felt around for what was needed to help with anyone coming to Nexus with injuries. So far, not many have come with injuries, minor scraps and bruises that could heal on their own, but he would hate to do any major healing with anyone with major injuries. He was a worrywort to the extreme sometimes...He felt a pulse in his chest and went about preparing to communicate with the Heart of Lin.
Mine host, the balance of worlds is becoming obscure and bleak. Steel thyself for the coming days, for they be filled with much despair but hope resideth if thy takes actions. The cards will show the way...But keepth the knowledge to your breast until such time.
He came too when the Heart stopped and he resumed breathing normally. The cards will show the way...Seems like Misaki has some inkling as to what is going on, but he didn't like how the Heart wanted him to keep this information to himself. For now, he keep the knowledge to himself but he wanted to see Misaki as soon as she got here. And as soon as he thought that, in comes Misaki.

Misaki Himegami
Misaki walked into the nurse's/doctor's office with a slight smile on her face. Zain was one person she liked as her twin's adopted father and she was one of the very few who knew his secret, being the host of the Heart of Lin. It was in one of her readings and frankly, she didn't give a crap about him being an artifact's host. But with all the deaths that have been reported on tv and from her readings, she needed to get to the bottom of this.
"The Heart communed with you about something....?"
She asked, sitting down on one of the beds. Her aura, from what described to her, was a convoluted mess of so colors and patterns it boggled his mind with how she even functioned that many colors. It came down to her magic; Astrology. But first things first.
"Had an inkling or a reading that told you?"
She shrugged at his words.
"A pseudo reading. Something that pointed me here....Before I fled my house, I did three readings. In all three, your and Magnus' calling cards were in there, but my card was on the sidelines in two of the three. The last one was had my card and it held more positivity than the other two readings. Summary of one reading; death was coming for us in the way of templars finding us here. Second reading wasn't much better but isolation, giving the world to the templars. The last reading...it went from one end to another and it seemed to not grasp a solid future but at least in this reading you and Magnus lived..."
She said, looking down at her hands, folded on top of her legs.
"Wait...in two of three of your readings, I and Magnus died? How?!"
"The cards wouldn't say. Neither would my paintings either. They do not call me now, but I know they would call me to deliver this news to Magnus as soon as possible. I'm more worried about Chouko and Aunt Azura. Chouko knows to flee here but her damn limp would get in the way, since she's possibly bringing a lot of crap with her. All her instruments per say."
Zain sighed, raking his left hand through his hair before tapping his right hand on the desk. It was hard to get an explanation more than than what was given to him. If the cards wouldn't say, the cards wouldn't say.
Death to all mages in one future, complete isolation in another, and last future didn't even seem to exist but death didn't seem to follow as heavily in that future than the other two did. Gods...this was one hell of a mess they were tossed into.
"Ah...The world, Magnus' card. We need to see him...But not now, he needs to be with his family."
Misaki's voice came to him as his thoughts were beginning to run rampant, he looked at her convoluted aura of colors and shapes before nodding. Misaki had learned to heed the call of the cards rather early.

Morkari & Jasmine

Morkari hears Merik mention Templars and is surprised. He does manage to keep his voice down though. "Templars? What? I've been in Africa the past year. I haven't heard anything, or run into any either... What's been happening this past year, Min?" He looks at his sister, wondering what the hell is going on, and why she didn't say anything when he had first arrived.

Jasmine shakes her head. "I only know a bit more than you both do at this point, other than it not being just rumours, Magnus has even been sending messages to all the Alumni of the recent years. Did you not get a message Mori? He sent them out a couple months ago..."

Morkari shakes his head. "That would be why, I sent him my own message probably right before he began sending them out. I had written that I would be coming back here before you went off and disappeared for your vacation so I could see you again. So he probably thought I'd be back sooner than this..." He sighs. "Well, guess I should go let him know I'm here, shouldn't I." He gets up and dumps the trash on his tray, before putting the tray with the others. His sister does the same, intending to go with him. "Hey Merik, want to come with? I don't know if you've talked to him since you've been back yet or not, but it would be nice to chat on the way to his office. Haven't talked for an entire year after all." He doesn't wait for an answer, but starts heading towards Magnus' Office, not wanting to delay anything now that he knew exactly what was going on here.

"Mori, no pranks alright? Just tell Magnus who you are, and report in, he's been way too busy to have time to-" Morkari cuts her off. "Yes yes, I know, beyond that, there's no way Magnus, with the magic he uses, wouldn't recognize me anyway. I'm not THAT immature Min." Jasmine just sighs and nods her head.

Arriving at the office, he knocks, not bothering to check if Magnus was there or not, he'd know, and decide himself if he had time to see them. If not, well, they'd wait a few minutes, and then leave.

Merik had just been reminded that he needed to see the headmaster himself but found himself caught up in several different but close together moments that yhe had lost track of time. He got up and slung his bag over his shoulder "Oh I'll go with you. Just give me a sec to catch up" he said as he made his way around the table to start heading over with Morkari. He turned quickly to Jasmine who was still enjoying her remaining lunch period "It was great seeing you again Professor Yukarai, we should grab a drink sometime and catch up for real" he said before making his way toward Morkari who had already made a fair distance toward Magnus's office. "Hey man wait up! So Africa huh? You gotta tell me what it was like, like were there any exotic magical beasts? Does Baron Samde exist or is he just a legend or a myth? Did you see the Lightning Bird?" he rifled off question after question not really expecting Morkari to answer any of them but he hadn't seen anyone from school except for maybe Hector but that was in passing around the time his book got published. He kept rifling off questions about Africa and all the neat things that were said to live there until they came up to the all to familiar doors. "So you want to knock or sha--" before he could finish Morkari was already knocking and he had a miniature panic attack "Whoa dude what if hes not home, or even worse what if he is and we just interrupted something really freaking important" he said before relaxing his shoulders "If he turns us to ashes or worse, spiders, Im blaming you" he exhaled and waited for someone to respond to the door. "So you really weren't attack by the templars....like at all? I mean i encountered a few but they weren't nearly as bad as the rumors suggest" he whispered to his hooded friend trying to fill the silence while they waited to talk to their former headmaster Magnus Youngblood.

Minerva Youngblood

Minerva had spent the vast majority of the day deep within Avalon's library researching ancient and complex spell patterns and constructions. The girl was doing so in order to complete the new tome she had tirelessly been working on as of graduation. The tome was already well over 5k pages in length and although it was nearing completion there was still much to be learned and transcribed. The tome was, in essence, a complete breakdown of magic energy and both the conversion and conservation of such. If one were to fully read and comprehend the tome in its final form Major magic spells could, in theory, become far less draining on the caster while at the same time become even more powerful. It was truly a masterpiece and would be a monumental breakthrough in the wizarding world but alas the final part of the secret was embedded deep within ancient lore and the likes. Scattered between one book or scroll to the other with of course the odd tablet or slate was thrown in. It was gruelling work to dig through such records but with the tome nearing completion, Minerva was fully determined.

The mage had been locked up and secluded within the library for what must have been days, it was only when her phone began beeping in alarm that she began to tidy up and prepare to leave the library. Apparently, something important was to be discussed today, something to do with the Templar Order and their increasing boldness. Minerva hadn't really paid all too much attention, to be honest, she was more focused on her work but none the less she had an obligation to attend whatever it was her father was planning for the announcement. And so with everything safely locked away the young mage made her exit and began heading back towards the Academy's upper floors.

Approaching her father's office Minerva was met with the sight of two previous classmates who were more than chipper this evening despite an ominous announcement prowling in the shadows. Taking a minute to close the distance Minerva could hardly hold back a laugh upon hearing the chatter both men had been holding. Letting a soft giggle escape Minerva quickly stood to attention and covered her mouth before apologising with a bow towards the two and Jasmine. "Pardon me. I meant no ill intent, it's just... I hardly doubt my father of all people would ever turn you into a spider or even go as far as to harm you at all. If you did interrupt something important then all you may face is a simple yet effective disappointed sigh." Returning to a stand Minerva offered the two boys a smile "Merik, Morkari. It's been quite some time, I'm glad to see you both in good health. And Merik for your information the Baron Samdi is a necromancer who actually graduated from this Academy with outstanding grades for his time. And while he does reside in Africa is very unlikely for anybody to meet him on their travels as he has taken up residence in the land of the dead through very complicated means. I can, however, get you his mailing address if you wish to send him your regards and or admiration"

Morkari

"Hey, Minerva, been awhile. Oh, speaking of Samdi, he actually happened to be buying some small things he had to find himself while I was there; I kind of left him to his business after a short chat though. He seemed to be even more anti-social than I used to be..." Morkari turned towards Minerva as he said this. "Mori, seeing as I haven't been summoned myself, I'm going to go get ready for my next class. I'll see you later." Jasmine walks off after replying to Minerva's greeting, and heads to her classroom to prepare for the next class. "Alright, Min. Hope your students aren't as bad as we were." Morkari gives his sister a hug before turning back to the other two. "Oh, by the way Minerva, how did you know it was me so easily? I mean, I guess my sister could have been a pretty big give away, but beyond that, I could have been Hector, or even Min's boy friend. I mean, even my sister didn't instantly recognize me... Did Magnus teach you some things while I was gone? Or did you go and learn them yourself, as per usual." His last sentence was stated more as a statement, as if he wasn't really asking. He was used to Minerva basically being a know it all by now, though she wasn't the annoying kind. She more looked up anything she could out of habit it had seemed during school. He was pretty sure having Magnus as a father was the main cause of that habit though. Suddenly having a thought, he turned towards Merik, almost seeming to think of him as an afterthought. "Wait, why would Magnus turn former students to ashes or spiders... the worst punishment I ever got detention, or having to eat lunch with him while listening to an entire lecture on 'why I shouldn't have done such a thing'." Morkari rolled his eyes as he mentioned the last thing. That punishment by itself, tended to stop his pranks for a good 2 weeks before he would have too good of an opportunity to not pull another. By this point, a Bright Blue Gecko had managed to crawl the entire height of Morkari, was now half way up Minerva's Arm. Morkari was still talking and still hadn't noticed though.

Alice had been busy with the mages who had been coming back to the campus because of all the attacks that had been going on. Old students and even friends coming telling her how people she knew had even been killed. To say the least it was stressful and sad but she made sure to keep face. There were also people asking her millions of questions. She was so glad to finally get away from the crowd. Alice was on her way to Magnus office when she made it though she saw Minerva, Morkari, and Merik. She smiled at the three. "Minerva, hey boys," she said. She then went passed them and headed into the office. She wasn't sure if they were coming in or just leaving but she didn't bother to ask. They would say something or knock if they needed Magnus and as for Minerva she could come in whenever she wanted. "What a day," She said as she leaned against the door. Her eyes then looked to Magnus and she smiled, "Were you able to finish contacting everyone?"

Roxie was laying down with her head on Hector's lap and Wilbur in her arms. "They better it's getting crazy. Wilbur almost got hurt." She held up Wilbur. "Mommy's going to burn them all alive if they touch my little Wilbur. Oh, she is she's going to burn them all to a crisp." She said in a baby voice. She then held Wilbur in arms again. "Well anyway, I'm not going to worry about it. We'll be fine..." She said as her arms tighten slightly around Wilbur.

"Oh hey bookworm, and nah i was just lightning rounding the questions off because i wanted to know what was going on in Africa but at this rate it doesn't seem like a good idea. If he's already extremely anti-social i don't want to poke that bear" he said in response to Minerva's question "And I don't know if he;d actually change us into spiders but i dont want to take any chances. We're adults now and also former students, he could take that as a sign that we can take the consequences" he shrugged and readjusted his bag on his shoulder. He turned to Jasmine who he had failed to even notice and got red in the face "Have a good rest of your day Professor J" he waved as she walked off and then turned back to Minerva. He eyed her up and down 'Either she got prettier or i was just blind for 4 years straight' he thought to himself "Oh so bookworm, you're good with magic concept and explanation right? Well do you think you could help me out with something? I'm trying to fuse a few different types of magic together but i need A) a spectator and B) someone who is better at channeled magic than i am and while im not positive you guys are the absolute best as channeled spells im pretty sure you're better than me. Please can you guys help me out later" he says looking to both Morkari and Minerva.

Just as he finished asking he saw Miss Evermore walk over, say hi, and walk right into Magnus's office all in such a smooth motion that before he could question it or say anything to her he felt more curious as to what happened in a year that he had obviously missed. "I'd hate to ask this but did Miss Evermore just do the one thing that not even some of the other professors ever did while we went to school here? Like I'm positive they always told us to knock before entering his office and she just sort of strolled in..." he said trying to process what he just saw with what he knew as fact. "I mean i get you being able to bookworm but even if she is his assistant she would have knocked first right?" he asked with building confusion. He started to wonder what else he missed this past year and how drastically were things going to change his views on things and people.

Morkari

"Hi Professor." He doesn't say anything else, as she seemed busy.

Morkari chuckles to himself as Merik is stunned by Alice boldly entering the headmasters office. "You are kind of oblivious, aren't ya Merik? Obviously they tied the knot sometime while we were gone. Oh come on, don't tell me you actually never noticed those two..." Morkari laughs a bit. "Anyway, my guess is the Headmaster is in his office, or the professor wouldn't have gone in, at least in my opinion." He knocks again, a bit louder this time, hoping he wasn't disturbing the headmaster too much.

Morkari still has yet to notice that Jade, his Gecko, was crawling around on Minerva right now. He just continues chatting with her and Merik while he waits to see if the knock will be answered.

"Help you with fusing different magic types together? Well, I might be able to be there just to help out if things go haywire, but Channel spells are not my forte, neither is fusing Types together. At most, I can send out two or three different Types when I use attack magic, but they aren't fused together. Not sure how much help I would be really." Morkari shrugs after saying this. "Sorry, I'm like, the last person to ask about any of that."

The Dumbasses

In the rooftop level of a multi-storey car park somewhere at Seoul was a young woman being cornered by a group of men in black suits like a helpless mouse. The whole scene seemed like it was the start of an action film if not for the lead actress looking like she’d rather be in a romantic movie. The woman wore an elegant, short, white dress while a crown made of red roses sat on top of her pink hair. It was none other than Yuna Jeon, sweating bullets as she was driven to the edge, her back pressed against the railings dangerously.

“H-Hey now! I know I’m super pretty, famous, talented, and I don’t mean to brag, but I’m also the cover girl of Cosmo Korea this month, aaaand my followers in all social medias have plummeted to, like, a couple of millions cause I’m really great and all, and… uh… where was I? Oh yeah! You guys really don’t have to do THIS! You can just… ask for my autograph nicely like how normal people would.” she piped up, “I mean... I can’t blame you guys if you’re so obsessed with me but can’t you just ask your idol nicely instead of, I don’t know, chasing me like I’m some sort of a criminal? Oh! Maybe this is some sort of a prank? Oooh, you got me, haha! Where are the hidden cameras? Am I in a reality show? Did my manager set me up for this? Is it really necessary to point a gun at me? Hahahahahahaha...hahaha...haha ...ha ...”

Yuna gulped as her optimism began to falter. She doesn’t even know just how she ended up in this situation! As far as she could recall, she was on her way home from an early photoshoot for her debut album when she noticed the creepy men stalking her. The next thing she knew was that her feet brought her here, and it wouldn’t be long before she meets her demise because she thought it’d be a good idea to hide in a parking lot.

Across from the pink-haired was a group of men in black suits with their eyes covered by black-tinted shades, a wide variety of weapons visibly in their possessions, and most of it were pointed at her. They all seemed like they were devoid of any emotions and their movements were rather stiff and almost robotic. It was when the man in front took a step that Yuna let out a loud scream in panic.

It was as if Yuna’s banshee screech was the first domino to fall as it kickstarted a chain of rapid events. A motorcycle suddenly dropped straight from above, most probably from the rooftop of the taller skyscraper beside, squashing one of the men and stealing the attention of everyone.

“What the-”

Nobody was even given the chance to react when a brunette woman in a black spandex outfit followed the vehicle, plummeting to the ground in a perfect three-point landing. The woman then tilted her head upwards, looking at her small audience with a small smirk, and Yuna felt her eyes widen and her jaw drop in surprise.

“Is that…”

The brunette then pulled out a chain whip and raised it in the sky, against the bright sun, in a dramatic pose.

“Professor Lockheart!?”

On cue, the men started firing at Lavigna. The older woman twirled her whip around her armpit to the otherside, and then back around the upper arm; warding the bullets from reaching her and sending them back instead. While her opponents were in shock, she used the moment to advance towards them with a jump, exerting more force from her shoulder to add to the whip’s momentum, its spearhead cutting anyone in its way.

While her former professor charged in like an angry bull, Yuna has successfully set up a ward to avoid getting hit by the bullets (or the flying bodies). She eyed Lavigna as she fought with fervor, wondering if she could defeat them all on her own. Yuna noticed more and more enemies pouring into their area and she opted to call for the other mage’s attention: “Professor, behind you!”

Lavigna briefly peeked over her shoulder before flinging her attention back to her opponent in front. She caught his punch and used her enhanced strength to throw his whole body towards the backups which were making a bee-line to their way. However, what was shocking was that although Lavigna caused significant damages to the opposing party, some of them still managed to get up like it wasn’t the case. She observed that they had some sort of armor beneath their suits which she deduced probably meant that their technology has advanced in a worrying rate over the course of time. Lavigna knew that continuing the battle wouldn’t be the wisest choice at the moment, considering that they were severely outnumbered, she lacked information, and they were in an open area.

She turned to look at her fellow mage, “Ah right, Whale Girl, wasn’t it?” the brunette began with a knowing smile, “You do that thing you do best.”

Yuna paused for a moment to ponder, “Being cute?”

“No.”
Lavigna approached her, “Screaming.” then pushed her off the multi-level building at a blink of an eye.

“Wha- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhh!!”

The whip-loving lady stared at the stunned men before letting out a giggle. She dived after her screaming former student right after, pulling her arms backwards so that she’d fall faster and catch up with the other. She took the girl into her arms and summoned a portal halfway through before they barrelled straight into it together.

A portal suddenly opened on the ceiling of the spot right in front of the headmaster’s office. Out came the unlikely duo; Lavigna landing on both feet while Yuna was on her shoulders in a fireman’s carry, looking like she just brushed shoulders with Death.

Lavigna put the other female down with ease, before fixing the flower crown which was still miraculously on Yuna’s head. “You’re welcome.” she muttered with a shrug, causing Yuna to flashback to when she broke her hand trying to break a certain imp’s ward.

Yuna flushed, “W-Wha-! I totally could have handled that without your help!” she retorted with puffed cheeks, although her trembling legs said otherwise.

It was then when the two noticed that there were people with them. “Oh, hey kids! Nice to see you lots again. Who’s your friend, Merik?” Lavigna started, gesturing at Morkari whom she failed to recognize. However, she didn’t even wait for his response when she addressed the next person, “Is your daddy there, Minerva? I got something to tell him. Oooh, wait, don’t tell me good ol’ Alice’s also there. Pfft, I guess I can wait. Adults need some private time alone, you know. Who knows? You might even get a new sibli-”

While the former professor continued to blabber, she failed to realize that there was someone having a crisis beside her. T-They were her former classmates… and Yuna needed to show them just how great she is right now! With that, she broke into her trademark post and obnoxiously said:

“Mwahahahaha! T’is I, Yuna Jeon, the number one superstar in the whole wide universe! Yes! It’s I! You are currently looking at the star student, the rising idol, founder of pink magic-”

“-and the whale girl?”

“-and the whale girl, and the songstress of Nexus Academy, and the- wait what?”

At the mention of whale, Mr. Pinkie- Yuna’s familiar- popped out of nowhere while in his mini form. He circled around the group with a wide grin on his face, looking happy to see his (and Yuna’s, although she won’t say it out loud) friends once again.

Morkari

Morkari shakes his head at Yuna's usual antics. "Hello Professor Lockheart. And hello Yuna and Pinkie, how have you two been?" He follows the whale with his eyes for a few circles before smiling and turning back to the new arrivals. "Ah, yea, Professor Evermore just went in a minute ago. So, I don't know if my knocks will be answered either." He shrugs. "Anyway..." He turns more towards Yuna. "How has your goal of becoming number one in the universe going Yuna? I only saw a few things while over in Africa the past year, and those were all months old already." Ratel picks right then to jump up onto his shoulder from mid air, accompanied as normal, with the smell of an African Savannah. "Does it really matter? Stop with the small talk, you know you're terrible at it." "Oh be quite Ratel, you're just as bad as I am."

He argued with Ratel in his head while waiting for Yuna to answer. He also finally decided that they might recognize him easier if he lowered the hood of his cloak. Doing so reveals his usual Long Blood-Red hair; Or "Ketchup Hair" as Yuna always called it. And he also finally noticed Jade crawling on Minerva. "Hey hey now Jade, that's not me, come here. Sorry Minerva, she has a tendency to wander off looking for chocolate..." He reaches over and grabs the Gecko before it could get into trouble, apologizing to his old classmate while doing so.

He doesn't pay attention enough to see if Yuna recognized him at all, though Lavigna most likely did, once the red hair was revealed, especially since Ratel had appeared on his shoulder right before.

With all the knocking on the door and no response one would only think that Magnus must of been busy with something of great importance. Unfortunately that was not the case as he was focus on a jar of cookies on his desk. Ever since he married Alice Magnus has been trying to train himself to not succumb to his weakness of sweets. Sadly it wasn't going so well since he couldn't focus on anything else other than the cookies in front of him. It was so bad that he was halfway through the jar when Alice walked in asking if he finished contacting everyone.

"...... Oh yes," he said. "Everyone has been notified to make their way to the Nexus....." Now that he could pay attention better to his surroundings he realized that a large group had been waiting outside his door. "You all can come inside now. I'm pretty sure that you all don't wanna stand outside my door forever." He would had rather sent them away since he needed to send a Nexus wide message to everyone to meet at the meeting hall in Haven. Yes that sure was what he wanted to do but he would feel guilty if they had stayed out there that who time without seeing him. Besides he could tell that Lavi had also come to see him and he could only guess that it must be of some kind of importance (hopefully) if she was coming to see him without a summons.

"Oh hey Whale Girl, whats with the new pose? Well anyway Im glad everyone seems so at home with their spirits. I can't use mine like that or it would kill me. So what brings you both here Professor Lockheart?" he said noticing the assortment of new people just sort of popping up. He remembered Professor Lockheart having retired somewhat recently but it was nice to see some familiar faces "Everyone if you'll please look over here, our very own Mori has changed. If you remember his more feminine appearance from this picture here" he was holding a class photo that had taken a couple years ago "He has now become a mysterious hooded loner.....so edgy" he said all while using his show mans voice. He looked around and saw their old but still very young looking headmaster Magnus Youngblood standing at the now open door. He perked up and put the old photo in his bag and greeted the professor "Hello headmaster it has been quite a long time, I apologize if we were being disruptive" he said politely bowing to the old mage. "Sir when you have time id like to talk with you in private about something if you'd allow" he said after straightening up. He owed Magnus for giving him his new life filled with so many exciting and different experiences that if he hadn't saved him from that templar he would not be where he is today as the man he is today. He smiled slightly as he accepted the headmasters invitation and walked forward toward the open door.

“And so the great dragon slew men with great ease not even the greats of wards could stop the claws of the unrelenting reptile” as these words flew through the air, a massive dragon of solid black sliced through men clad in ebony armour splitting them clean in half spilling purple liquid everywhere. emitting a resounding roar as it did so only a single ebony plated creature stood before the beast much larger and more grandiose than those that fell before “but it had one weakness a fault so mundane that no one dare think it to be true”. the great armor figure clutched to a small blackened back that appeared in its grasp, as the dragon lunged at them throwing it to its gaping maw the creature quickly keeled over dead as its attack was abruptly ended by this sudden turn of events “it was but a simple pepper corn that killed the beast a humble end to such a grand threat”.

With that skotádi took a bow a wave of the iron dagger in his had dismissed the shadow creature the solid back of his eyes returning to there “natural” golden colour, as the dragon and the armoured figures sunk into the ground leaving nothing but a small crowed of cheering students who where more than likely impressed with the display of skill and story telling. skotádi had only recent returned to the school having heard the issues with the Templar, he didn’t want to risk his life but it deeply saddened him that he could not continue to collect tales infact the one he had just told was a favourite form when he was young, at least he could take the issue of the minds of others, the whole show after all was impromptu since one of the students has recognised him form a one of his shows and well he couldn’t refuse a offer to preform, it was practically in his blood. “Thank you all for staying to listen I hope you all enjoyed the show” the black tattered cape he wore flicked in the air it after all was made in exactly the same way the creatures where but a shadow. And with that he set the dagger in its place on one of his arms where similar shaped metallic protrusion where present “now i really do think you should all get going you all likely have classes after all” with that the small crowed dispersed leaving the shadow puppeteer with a satisfied smile across his face, a small distraction could make a difference to someone’s life afterall.

Morkari

Morkari scratched his head at the, well. interesting introduction Merik gave him to the professor and Yuna. "Wait, why is wearing a cloak edgy? HEY Don't change the subj- Oh, hi Headmaster. Uuh, sorry bout all that. Um, I just got here a couple hours ago, and uuuh, I actually have basically no clue about anything recent news related. So I uh, decided to come ask you, seeing as you seemed to have been sending out word for all of us to come back." He stands a bit awkwardly, unsure of what else to do. "uuh, I- I uh- I guess umm..." He cuts off, not quiet sure what to say now that he wasn't prepared anymore. "Can you uh, explain whats going on?" He manages to ask, after a good bit of awkward silence.

Meanwhile, Ratel is laughing her fur off on his shoulder. "gah hahaha! Oh god, so awkward. You are such a master at doing that. I have no clue how do it though. Everytime, almost everytime you get surprised like this, you immediately transform into a 10 year old asking a girl on a date for the first time." "Oh shut up Ratel, I seem to remember you attempting to talk to a Male honey badger, only to realize after a good 10 minutes of me just watching, that neither is it as intelligent as you, nor could it even recognize you as one of it's own species, kek. You got no room to talk here ya furball." During this arguement, he and Ratel took turns glaring or smiling, depending on who was being made fun of at that time. "H-hey now, I was just trying to talk to something other than you for once, cause we both know you're so great at small talk and lengthy conversations right?" "pssssh BS and you know it. What was it about how 'his tail was so shiny, that he must be grooming it daily' again? If you call that anything other than an attempt at flirting, you're delusional." "Shuddup. You're no better." "At least I admit it though."

This continues for a good 2 or 3 more minutes before they finally realize everyone was staring at them both, as at some point, Morkari had at some point, started talking aloud instead of in his head to Ratel. He looks at everyone, and then pulls up his hood, trying extremely hard to be a speck of dust in the air, unnoticed by everyone.

Minerva Youngblood
Minerva was caught somewhat by surprise when Morkarai mentioned he had actually passed by Baron Samadi during his trip to Africa, it was extremely unlikely and in fact practically impossible. But Minerva decided it best to keep her mouth shut as opposed to getting into a debate over the matter. Soon Alice passed by the group and entered the office without any delay promoting a swift line of questioning from Mori who was oblivious to the fact her father had recently married Alice. Morkarai was, however, swift to point this out and the conversation shifted towards the topic of fusing and merging spells. A subject Minerva was all too familiar with. With Morkarai retreating from the request for help Minerva voiced her concerns "Merging spells and the like can be very difficult for those who have no experience in the field. One small miscalculation can result in death and or worse. I have a lot of practice in the field however I wouldn't recommend you pursue this path of spellcraft lightly."

Before Minerva could continue Professor Lavi and Yuna came crashing through a portal in the ceiling. The whole commotion soon brought Magnus to answer the door and following everything including the removal of a lizard from Minervas arm the group was guided into the office where Magnus began to speak aloud. Minerva moved to take a stand by the window as he did so not wanting to partake in any of the conversations the group would undoubtedly be having.

Once everyone had left for class and Skotadi was about to leave himself a voice called out to him from seemingly all around him. The voice danced from one ear to the other and back again drawing his attention from one side of the hall to the other with great ease and finesse. It drew his full attention to itself and captivated him in a way that was hard to explain. its words were soft, direct and oddly satisfying to hear. "Shadow magic, it's a rarity in this day and age even more so the tree of shadow puppeteering. You have great skill, I'll give you that. You captured your audience and portrayed your story with effortless ease. But did you know your story is not quite true... The dragon was slain as were the men that day, however, it was no mere peppercorn that brought the beast to its demise. No, no. It was a peppercorn plucked from the depts of hades itself, cursed by a council of want to be gods and gifted to a knight who sold his soul for the world." The voice continued to move all around the shadow mage and just as he began to fill dizzy a figure appeared in the distance. It was the dragon he had conjured up from before and before him stood the knight once again. The shadows played out the scene of the dragons death once again but as the dragon fell this time the knight did too. In time a group of cloaked mages appeared around the knight and once all five had assembled the knight rose up from the dead and knelt before the group. Following this, the group and dragon both vanished in a puff of smoke and what proceeded to play out was a plethora of gruesome murder sprees the undead knight committed later in his life. Women and children, the elderly and the disabled. Everyone was a target and several were killed brutally. Eventually, the scene came to an end with the knight being dragged back into hades by all those he had killed. His wife and young daughter were clearly recognisable.

As the shadows dispersed Yumiko was revealed and the voice that had been dancing around Skotadi was finally given form "Not every story is written in the entirety. There are several stories that are altered to suit a message deemed desirable. I prefer your version but alas I know the truth and that... that's what makes it all the more disappointing."
