((Unlike my other roleplays this will start with two parts))
Imagine falling asleep a normal teenager, going through puberty and fighting acne then waking up a monster this is how this story begins.
Location: Highschool dorm

Eden does his normal nightly routine: Warm bath with a little Epson salt he lays back and lets the water cover him. After about 20 minutes his roommate knocks on the door "Hey Aquaman, hurry up we all have class in the morning". Eden laughed "Alright, here I come." Eden goes into his room and falls asleep.

The next morning

Eden wakes up and sheets were all wet so he assumed the worst "They poured water on me as a prank how lame.." Eden walks in the bathroom and takes a shower but his skin starts to feel slimy "What is this" Eden starts to freak out and looks in the mirror screams his body just sucked in the water and his skin was clear and glowing and his hair remained wet as if it had no intention on drying and he had this craving for salt. He starts to feel overwhelmed his heart beating rapidly and to makes things worst rain clouds starts to form in the bathroom it's literally storming in the bathroom. Eden stumbles out the door trying to keep the rain out and it follows him. Then he hears a voice "Hey, bud calm down..." He thought it was one of his roommates but it was the fish, the fish in the bowl of water was speaking to him. "You've awakened my lord." Eden heart starts to stop beating rapidly and he breaths. "This is a dream," he said as he got back in bed slept for 15 minutes then got back up and walked to class in his gym uniform and put his head down he figured as long as he controlled his emotions he'd be okay.

Then a thought hits him "What if Lola is in this class worst what if Zeus is who knows what will happen if Zeus makes me laugh or if Lola look at me." Eden groans and closes his eyes and waits for the other to enter. He could tell it was going to be a long day.

An empty apartment was lonely. And empty studio apartment paid for by some people who adopted you then proceeded to ignore you while they traveled the world was even lonely. That is if you let it be lonely. Soft music danced through the air as Lola bounced along making herself some dinner. Well, that phrase is used loosely as the girl was simply heating up some leftover Pad Thai. She could cook of course, but, only if she's been to the grocery store lately and since the check from her "parents" hadn't been sent through yet, she didn't have anything to do that with. Anyway, she ate dinner fairly quickly and began to work on some homework while watching a random baking show. This was her life away from school. Nothing really all that fun, just doing homework, watching TV, or tending to the plants sitting on the small balcony. Pink and white chrysanthemums and a healthy amount of ferns, they made her little corner of the world feel better. At about 11, Lola went about doing her nightly routine of a shower, her skincare routine, before she went to bed. Nice dreams were inbound, a few odd ones as well, but nothing as odd as when she work up the next morning.

Her bed was covered in flower petals of all colors, like a sunset, scattered around her body like someone had tried a huge romantic gesture to win her heart. Honestly, if that was the case it might have worked. But nobody had broken into her apartment, a quick glance around showed her that. "What the absolute hell?" Lola muttered, sweeping the petals of her bed. After taking care of the mess, and wondering how it got there in the first place she headed off to the bathroom to get ready. After quickly dressed, she took a quick look in the mirror to straighten the details of her outfit out, she noticed something off about her hair.

More. Petals.

Small daisy-like flowers were mixed into her hair, it didn't look like they were holding onto anything, but she picked one out of hair, she felt a small prick. Nothing painful, but it was really, really, really weird. And, not to mention the fact she watched the flower the pluck out of her hair grow back. She stared at it, dumbfounded. Lola didn't get enough sleep last night, that's the answer to this. But after a few more flowers, a few more minutes of watching them grow back, she came to the conclusion that she was not asleep at all. In fact, she was very much wide awake and three seconds from calling her doctor. This certainly wasn't normal, but maybe nothing to freak out about? "Okay, calm down Lola, there has got to be a perfectly reasonable explanation to this, " She muttered, leaving the bathroom to grab her book bag. She had a bus to catch, and so she couldn't waste time on figuring out what the hell this was about.

The bus ride, as normal, was uneventful. She had a short ride of ten minutes because she didn't live too far away from school, too far to walk, but still close enough that her bus fare was really cheap. And thank God there was no dress code rule about flowers in your hair because Lola gave up on trying to get rid of them, each one she plucked grew back within just a few seconds and she had about fifteen small daisies in her hand, which she tossed into the flower bed at the school entrance when the bus stopped to let her and two other students she didn't know off. At least school would be normal, or at least as normal as it was for her.

First "class" of the day was study hall, which would let her get finished with all the class work and homework she needed to. Granted she only needed to go over them to make sure everything was right, and she often got paid a few bucks to let other students copy off her notes or homework. Study Hall was the perfect time for it. Upon entering the designated classroom, the first person she spotted was Eden. One of the three who had a very obvious crush on her, and while some people would find it endearing, cute, or live for the attention, Lola did not. But, she was still nice to him because he was practically harmless. Walking over, she claimed the desk next to him, taking a moment to get comfortable, before she turned to speak to him. "Good morning Eden, how are-" she paused. His skin looked slick, like he was covered in sweat. But the room was a fairly decent temperature, and sure his Gym clothes could explain it, she felt like something was wrong. "Eden, are you okay?" She asked softly, a hint of concern in her voice.

Diana was up all night hanging out with friends in another dorm room until about 2 in the morning, which was ridiculous because it was definitely a school night. She told herself she'd grab a huge cup of coffee in the morning, and it'd be alright. It's not like the teachers didn't all expect her to drop out as soon as she turned 18 anyways, so what did they care if she took a little nap in class. She snuck back into her room quietly and dropped into her bed hopefully without waking her roommate. While she liked to do her own thing, she wasn't a jerk and knew it would be rude to wake her up, by being too rowdy.

The next morning.

Diana woke up feeling extra thirsty, and her roommate banging on her door, "Hey you might wanna shower before class, your whole room reeks of liquor. You should really be careful with drinking so much." She reminded her before walking away. Drinking? She hadn't drank anything last night, and she certainly didn't feel hung over. In fact she felt great other then her dying of thirst. She tried to sit up but it was difficult considering there were vines growing all around her bed.

"What the?" She looked down confused lifting a vine and suddenly grapes started to grow from it. "So I'm still asleep cool..." She hummed plucking one off the vine and eating it. It was probably the most delicious grape she'd ever tasted, and she craved more. Luckily her craving came with grapes sprouting all over the vine. "Holy..." Just as she was about to dig in she heard her alarm go off. Wait, was she dreaming that too? She needed to wake up, how do you force yourself to wake up? She tugged at her hair trying to think of something, and accidentally tugged to hard pulling her hair causing her to yelp in pain. Wait you're not supposed to feel pain in dreams right? She quickly stumbled out of bed, her vines opening up for her to get out with easy much to her surprise and horror. Vines don't do that right? She ran to the mirror and every imperfection she felt she had before like her light acne was gone. Actually she felt her skin was practically glowing, she looked gorgeous for just waking up with no make-up on yet. She turned on the sink water to wash her face and hopefully wake herself up. The moment she touched the water however it turned light red. She was confused but it smelled so sweet, so she lifted it to her lips and it was wine, red wine. Oh and did it taste amazing. She continued to drink at least four or five scoop fulls before realizing this was crazy, had she gone crazy? Was she dreaming still? She had to be, right?

Suddenly her second alarm went off, and she jumped. "Oh crap!" She raced to get dressed deciding her hair would just have to be left the long curly mess it was. Not that it still didn't look good surprisingly. Luckily she had study hall first so even though she was now going to probably be late she wouldn't miss anything, if anything she could get a nap and maybe forgot the whole weird morning she was having. She ran out her door and to class. Either this would be the best day ever or the worst. She slid in the classroom door just as the bell rang, "Whew I made it." She huffed before taking her seat behind Persephone and Eden. She was about to tell them about her strange dream when she noticed how wet Eden looked, and was Lola trying to work a flower crown now? "Looks like I'm not the only one with an interesting morning." She giggled leaning back wondering why she was still having cravings. "Anyone have a drink?" She asked to anyone in the class. She hoped that the scent of liquor wasn't still as strong on her as her roommate claimed because the teachers would definitely ask questions.

JOJO

Jove woke up in his dorm room, feeling strange tingles all over his body. Getting up, Jove picked up his phone and checked the time. He had slept in! If he didn't hurry, he was going to be late for school. As if his day couldn't get any worse, Jove also saw that his phone was only on 17% battery. He had no time to charge it, which only frustrated him even more. Gripping it tightly, he felt a flare of anger rise from inside of him. JoJo's anger turned into shock as he noticed electricity flow from his fingers into the mobile phone. The battery icon instantly went all the way too 100% instantly. Raising an eyebrow, Jove inspected his hands as if noticing them for the first time. Then he saw the time and put aside his worries to immediately rush to get ready. Jove had a neat and clean dorm room, so he was able to quickly find all of his accouterments. First was his signature jacket, the jacket that Eden always called "Tacky". It was a slim jacket of a black leather that zipped up to a clasp. The clasp was in the shape of an eagle. The edges of his sleeves were detailed with lightning bolts. To complete his look was his belt with the symbol of Ω. He didn't have any particular attachment to these symbols, it was just how he chose to accessorize. Whenever someone tried to make fun of his clothes, Jove just ignored them. If they insulted his fashion choice, Jove would just point out that many modern people wear dumber things than he did.

Making his way to the school from his dorm, he came across a couple of ruffian boys accosting some girls. If Jove kept walking, he'd be able to make it to school just in time. In fact, he actually began walking past the group. Though he stopped when he heard one of the scared girls yell for help as she was grabbed. Jove immediately turned around and walked on over. "Robbing helpless teenage girls are we? What... everyone else too hard for you?" asked Jove with his hands in his pockets. "What?! You wanna square up?!" said one of the thugs as he walked over to Jove. "I'm honestly surprised you even know what a square is... what with your grubby clothes and delinquent bearing" said Jove as he pointed at one of them. This set him off as he ran at Jove, who promptly tripped him up without moving his body much. "The hell?! You wanna die!?" said the second one as he released his victim and ran at Jove with a tiny switchblade. Jove shook him off by giving him a quick knee to the gut. With both of them in pain on the ground, Jove went to retrieve the girls belongings. "T-thank you...." said the girl who had the knife pointed at her earlier. With that the girls ran off to class. Walking into his first class, he noticed Eden sitting at one of the desks. "Look what I found on the walk here" said Jove as he held up $30 he had discreetly taken from those girls AND those punks. Jove never said he'd help them for free...

Liv itches her feet lazily as she turned around in her bed which was a bad idea considering the crunch she heard after words. Jumping out of her bed she was horrified to find countless bugs of different sizes and shapes. Yes the butterflies were lovely but the cockroaches and centipedes were not. Liv unable to contain her shreks had nearly tripled over her own feet when she felt something moving around in her hair. Attempting to calm herself down she took deep breathes and slowly slide her legs across the floor to the bathroom. And in the bathroom mirror staring right back at Liv LillyWhite was a gray unusually large rat...and that was that, “Ahhhhhh.” Liv frantically threw the rat out of her hair shooting it right out of the bathroom and straight into the wall she angrily locked the bathroom door to further protect herself. After hours of washing her hair multiple times and scrubbing her whole body she threw out her shampoo and body wash seeing as they were empty now.

Liv stood there for about half an hour debating on whether or not she should open the door to get her clothing. Sighing she looked over to her pajamas, “No Liv, what are you thinking? Think of your social blade...wait my life is more important! I will not be eaten by bugs.” Picking up her pajamas she quickly put them on seeing as how she was now late she wondered why she was in such a hurry. Turning around she unlocked the lock and screwed the door noob open when suddenly she began locking it, “What am I doing? I can’t go out there...what about my keys? And my backpack...How will I go to school?” On the verge of tears Liv suddenly realized she could call one of her friends to help he- “I don’t have my phone…” in defeat Liv slide down the door when she caught a glimpse of the window shaking her head in disapproval it seemed that her entire body was slowly moving towards it.

I’m going to die someone please ...HELP ME!” The old woman passing by stopped to question Liv’s sanity.
“Your on the first floor…” Liv turned around to look at the ground her feet were inches away from touching it. It seemed that the horrific experience cause her to forget what floor she was on.
Oh.” The frail old lady slowly walked away mumbling something about the current generation. The Blondie paid no mind hopping out of the window only to continue to her current destination which was school. She did receive side glances here and there but also many men offered to give her a ride to which she replied with running as fast as she could. When she entered school she suddenly realized how innoprate she looked she was wearing pajamas and on top of that...most of all barefoot. Popping her head through the door of her first class she was relieved to find only a few people despite it already being late. She walked in attempting to not draw attention to herself but it quickly failed when she ran to the seat pushing JoJo out of her way to sit next to Diana, “Guys you won’t believe what happened to m- uhh Eden why are you wet? It wasn’t raining outside...did you go swimming again the pool is currently off limi-What am I saying.” Her mind solely returned back to her current problem but it was slowly taken away by Lola, “Aww.” Alright moving on. Liv turned to Diana, “D let me use your phone this is a matter of life and death.

As midnight approaches, Axel decided to do some last minute working out before he went to bed. His late night workouts weren't a usual thing for him, this was his 2nd week in which he started doing them. He began them by twisting his head left and right several times then it moved onto arm exercises which eventually moved into working his torso and finally were leg exercises; after that he picked up some cheap dumbbells he bought two weeks ago and worked out with them until midnight. When he finished he let out grunt, quietly releasing the dumbbells on the floor. He dressed up in his pajamas and collapsed on his bed.

The next morning.

Axel's sleep was very deep which was odd for him but every sleep ends as Axel began to slowly open his eyes, the sunlight illuminating his crimson retinas and little did Axel know, the beams of light also illuminated his armor. Sandaled feet touch the ground, a yawn escapes Axel as he lifted himself up, did a tremendous stretch, when he lowered his arms, something fell to the ground and made a ting sound like metal struck metal however his ears didn't pick up on that sound as he lazily moved his body into the bathroom. He rubbed his eyes with his right hand during this, he gently touched the edges of his helmet, this was when he finally realized something was amiss, he lowered his hand and looked himself in the bathroom mirror.... CRACK . The mirror was shattered by a punch from Axel, glass shards littering his knuckle, even the wall behind the mirror was slightly dented. Axel lifted his hand and looked at the bleeding thing with apathy like it didn't even hurt. He began to remove the shards from his fist with his fingers and dropped them into the sink, once he got all of the shards out, did his emotion come back to him... his first thoughts were worry which then turned to hatred and finally into a twisted sense of happiness, he looked back into the shattered mirror, each fragment that was still on the wall reflecting his reflection back at him.

He left the bathroom and that was when he saw it... a white beast... No, a white hound staring back at him. "Calm" was his first word, his voice was deeper than usual and he lifted his hands but it seems as though the hound mistook his hand gestures as gestures of battle as it growled at Axel, his instincts took over as his eyes picked up a shield from the corner of his eyes, Creed dived towards it as the hound lunged at him, pinning him on the ground, shield separating God from Dog, it kept trying to bite at Axel's head and in turn Axel narrowly dodging the bite by moving his head out of the way. "BACK YOU WRETCH!" Axel roared as a solid fist struck the hound, sending the creature into the wall behind it, letting out a defeated whimper.

The hound calmed itself at his new master's feet, morphing back into a more tamer form, Axel knelt down and petted the creature, his armor disappearing off of him. He looked down at himself and noticed he was still in his pajamas, he panicked as he knew classes almost started, he ran to get dressed, donning his black hoody with red shirt, jeans and black shoes. He picked up his backpack and phone, running out of his apartment, forgetting to lock it. Late was the word that circled in his head but what else he didn't notice was the dog following him, he quickly reached the school and entered his first class which he was beaten by several other classmates. The dog didn't enter the school instead he circled around it and found a tree that reached into the classroom's window, with great agility the dog climbed the tree and hanged from the branches, looking into the classroom. "What's up guys?" His voice was higher than it was when he wore the armor, he pondered at Liv's choice of clothing. "What's with the style, Liv, you still look good by the way."

Eden Brett
Young Jason!😀

Eden lifted his head and his heart began to beat rapidly "Lola, I'm sorry but could you just not talk to me anymore today." storm clouds started to form above him. Then he looked around and noticed Diana who was looking pretty nice as well "Guys, I'm not feeling the best...I woke up this morning wet... If that makes any sense and my fish talked to me.." Eden looked around and noticed that everyone was off today "Oh... So we're all screwed up..." He reached in his pocket and started eating salt off his fingers. He looked over at Axel and thought to himself "Why does he have on armor if no one else isn't going to address it he sure wasn't either." He looked over and made eye contact with Lola and that was the final straw it began to rain but only over him. He started to panic and this only caused more rain to fall

"STOP IT," he yelled then it started to storm outside scales started to form on his hands he looked at his peers and fled from his seat "Lola's going to think I'm a monster," he thought to himself. Just then he heard a voice "Calm down my king.." It was the class fish he ran over to it "What's wrong with me? Can they hear you too? Fix me !" he placed both hands on the tank cracking it a little "You are not broken you are finally free please breathe." Eden took a deep breath and closed his eyes trying to calm himself and just as he did that the rain started to stop however the floor was all wet he looked over at the fish for answers since a fish clearly had it all figured out."Take your shirt off and lay on the ground hot stuff," the red fish said he assumed it was ladyfish. He looked over at the other fish who bumped the other fish just absorb it focus.

Eden looked at the water concentrating very hard but nothing happened he looked up at his classmate "Mop... please"

Tap-tap-tapping her pen against her lower lip, Kendra frowned. What time was it? Ten? Eleven? Well, it didn't really matter. I'm too tired to solve anything right now, let alone algebra. With a sigh she dropped the pen onto her desk, not bothering to clean up after her little study session. She could hear the faint sound of some music playing, accompanied by voices and laughter. Not even school nights hindered some students from throwing parties in their dorms. Kendra was glad to have gotten a room all to herself – she did not think she'd be able to put up with all the loud noises and other disturbances that came with a roommate. How was one supposed to get any work done with all that ruckus going on?

After a quick trip to the bathroom aiming to brush her teeth, Kendra practically fell into bed. Heavens, I'm exhausted. Is this just from studying? Or does it have anything to do with that bi— Kendra buried her face in the pillow, scolding herself mentally for being jealous over nothing. Sure, that other girl had been rather pretty, but maybe, just maybe she'd misread the situation. Perhaps the girl hadn't really flirted with Jove, perhaps... Kendra groaned into her pillow – dealing with thoughts like these late at night would not help her sleep. She'd just have to consult Liv the next day. Despite being younger than the blonde, the pair got along pretty well. Considering Kendra's lack in the 'female friends department', her friendship with Liv was sort of unique in a way. Mind drifting off to thoughts about the upcoming day, she slowly sank into a deep, dreamless sleep.

—♕—

Kendra awoke with a jolt, startled by the loud noise erupting from her alarm clock. Flinging out her arm to try and turn it off, she ended up knocking the satanic devise right off the nightstand and onto the floor. Great. Kendra nothing short of flew out of her bed, scrambling on all fours to retrieve the ringing beast of a clock. Finally succeeding, she took a deep breath, savoring the sweet silence. And that was when she first noticed the feathers scattered all over her bed, some having found their way onto the floor. Picking one up, she studied it. Is that peacock feathers?! What the actual fu— Kendra dropped the blueish feather, slowly getting herself into a standing position rather than crawling around on the ground. Okay. Peacock feathers. Totally normal. Happens to anyone, right? Promptly deciding to ignore the incident, she rummaged through her dresser on the hunt for something to wear. She decided on a simple, gray plaid skirt together with a white turtleneck. After hurriedly throwing on the clothes she grabbed her phone and her bag, practically running out of her room. Kendra was never late. Never. Dashing down hallways, she raced against the clock.

Upon reaching her destination – the classroom where the study hall was supposed to take place – Kendra slowed to a regular walking pace. Oh gods. I didn't even brush my hair, did I? The thought brought some small amount of anxiety with it. What if JoJo would notice? She could not risk that. Putting a perfectly manicured hand into her bag, she dug out a small mirror, worriedly studying her own reflection. What she saw surprised her – adorning her brown locks was a small, golden diadem (Is that real gold?!), intricately carved, gleaming slightly. Flushing, Kendra made an attempt to remove the thing, but to no avail. It would not budge. Princess style it is. The thought was rather bitter. Taking on a not so far from haughty expression, she entered the classroom. Her gray eyes immediately found JoJo, softening her gaze before it slid on to Lola. Whatever softness found in her eyes then, ceased to exist. She did not trust that girl, not one bit. What is that in her hair? Flowers? Why does it look so good on her? Now, Kendra wasn't really one to speak, what with the diadem and all. But still. Next to Lola was an empty seat – previously occupied by Eden, she guessed, who was now... Talking to a fish? My goodness, can this morning get any weirder? I really need to sit down. But next to whom? Maybe Liv? Seeing as the blonde (Wearing PJs?) was already sitting together with Diana – who looked intoxicated? – Kendra quickly dismissed that thought. Besides, her friend would probably be busy dealing with Axel and his compliments. Instead, she made her way towards Jove, gracefully seating herself next to him.

"Morning, JoJo," she said with a almost shy smile on her lips. "What's up with your bestie talking to the fish?"

Diana rolled her eyes when Jojo mentioned 'finding' $30 on the way to school. While she didn't know how he managed it, she knew it probably wasn't just laying on the ground knowing him. She also couldn't help but blink very confused on why Liv had shown up in her pajamas. Sure she could rock any look and she was still gorgeous, but this was still a bold move even for her. "Looks like your morning was worse then mine." She blurted out. It seemed everyone was having one interesting morning so far. She didn't know whether to take comfort in that or be worried. Surprisingly in all the chaos, she still felt fine. Very very confused, but not stressed, or afraid. Hearing Liv's request Diana shrugged, "Sure thing." She reached in her pocket and lightly tossed the girl her phone. She couldn't imagine what could be so serious, but with how strange everyone was acting right now she wasn't about to question it. Kendra walked in later than normal, which was definitely weird, maybe the world was ending? Wait, was she wearing a tiara? New fashion statements all around: PJ's, flower crowns, gold tiara's, gym clothes...what's next?

Talking about strange did Eden of all people just tell Lola NOT to talk to him? She could usually barely keep the guy away from her and now he wanted space? To be fair he was dripping wet. "Stop the presses ladies and gents! It looks like Eden's finally got the hint!" She teased jokingly. Her taunting came to an abrupt stop once it started to rain, but not just outside, in the room and specifically over Eden. "Uh...what the!?" She couldn't even form a coherent sentence she was so baffled by what she was seeing. Oh no here it was again, was she still dreaming? That had to be it right? After all she's got a classmate in her pajamas, and another with a rain cloud over them....who is now talking to a fish tank. Ok, that's it time to wake up! She closed her eyes and tugged at her hair again, "Oh god not again. Please stop, please wake up, wake up, wake up!" She muttered to herself over and over again. She was going crazy, she had to be. One too many late nights, and now she'd lost her mind. Sure that didn't make any sense, but none of this did so what did it matter? If this was her own bizarre version of Alice in wonderland, she would rather opt out now.

She looked around at her other classmates who were looking more sane then her, and definitely more so then Eden right now, "Please tell me you guys are seeing all this too right? I'm not crazy, right?" Ok, maybe Diana was on something? Maybe someone thought it was funny and gave her a brownie last night and she was still feeling the effects? That would explain why she was imagining things right? She'd never gotten high before, so this would've been new territory. She got up walking over past Eden's desk originally to walk out the room for some air and get her thoughts right, but as her hand touched the puddles left behind just like with the sink this morning it changed colors and into wine. The same happened to any puddle she stepped on, "We need more than a mop..." She whined dramatically.

This was a mess to say the least, and not just the puddles now all over the floor.

JOJO

Kendra seated herself next to Jove with all the grace and majesty of a lady. Smiling at her, Jove answered her question. "Why is Lola covered in flowers? Why does Diana look intoxicated? Why is there a dog hanging from a tree outside? Why is Liv in her PJ's? Most of all... why do you seem so radiant today?" Jove said as he slyly smirked at her. In truth, Jove was also confused as to what was going on, it actually irritated him quite a bit. However losing his temper wouldn't solve much at the moment. "Kendra it would seem as if something has changed about us.... or perhaps something awakened in us that we were simply unaware of.... nevertheless what we see before us is reality. A strange and seemingly impossible reality but reality all the same" continued Jove as he looked at his phone. Gripping it tightly, the battery shot back up to 100% as the strange electricity appeared in his palm. "I for one think this is an interesting situation... better than just another random Thursday" Jove put his phone back in his pocket and stood up. Walking over to Eden, he placed a hand on his friends shoulder and then proceeded to pat him on the back.

"Hey Eden... I hate to interrupt your conversation with your fine fishy friends but I'm curious about to know if you're hearing anything back" what Jove just said seemed utterly absurd and ridiculous. Fish couldn't talk, everyone knew that. The only creatures other than humans with speech were birds. Yet the events of the morning had given Jove pause. Seeing Eden speak to the fish with some kind of understanding on his face had made Jove think about the electricity coming from his hands. The storm cloud over him only further proved Jove's theory that something beyond human understanding was going on. If only his sister, Nerva was here. While Jove hated to admit it, she was the wiser of the two. She would have a firmer grasp of the situation. Gritting his teeth in silent frustration, Jove saw the lights begin to flicker on and off above him. It was a decently sunny day outside, the lights shouldn't have been on. Why were they flickering? Jove was filled with more and more questions by the second. Turning to his classmates, Jove looked over everyone there before speaking his mind. "Something has happened to us... and going by what we're seeing... its only just begun" said Jove as a breeze lightly blew his against his hair.

After taking four hours to complete her projects and to prep herself for the next school day's activities, Minerva finally rested her head on her pillow and drifted to sleep. Unbeknownst to the sleeping teen, she would have a very eventful dream that night. Waking in a field surrounded by beautiful trees and flora, the teen spun around confused. She looked down and saw herself dressed in floor length white robes with a golden belt round her waist. How did... when did I... Minerva quickly realized she was dreaming.

A screech came from behind, and as if it was by instinct, she raised her left arm. A beautiful bird of prey perched itself on her arm. The owl sat proudly on her arm as she calmed her racing heart.
Everything's fine, he's a friend something whispered to her in the back of her mind. She breathed a sigh and brushed the back of her hand along the top and down his soft feathered head. The bird chirped happily and pressed its head into her hand further. Minerva couldn't help but smile.

Looking around once more, she said aloud, "What a strange place to be... and with such a lovely creature. My friend, when am I going to wake up?" The owl cocked its head and looked like it almost shrugged. Minerva watched as it reached for something on her head. "What is it, my friend?" she asked before feeling pain stem from her head. Strangely enough, the bird had plucked a leaf from her head before placing it on her hand. What in the name of... Raising her arm up to find where he found that, she felt another leaf. Moving her hand to follow where the leaf's base was, she felt it continue on around her head. Was this a wreath?

The owl opened its wings and took off towards a nearby pool of water. After landing on a branch, it rotated its head around to face her. Its eyes expectant. It wanted her to follow, so she did. Minerva walked to follow it to the pond and looked down. There was her reflection... it was her face, her body, her everything. But something almost made her gasp.

Her hair was blue! She normally had dark brown locks. Minerva hadn't colored it recently, and even stranger, that wreath on her head didn't fall off when she leaned down to take a closer look. Another screech came from the owl, startling her. She fell into the pond.

She'd woken up with a start, a bead of sweat dripping down from her forehead. Minerva took a few deep breaths to calm herself. Phew, just a dream. She stood up from her bed, turned off her alarm and took note of the time: it was a few minutes before her alarm would have gone off. Sighing she quickly went to shower, but it felt strange, something seemed off after she put her hair up with a towel. There was no wreath in her hair, thank goodness, but something else was off.

Wandering around her apartment, she remembered that this morning she was going to give her brother a ride to school today. How could she forget! She never forgot anything.

She dried herself off and changed. After packing up her bag and a breakfast for JoJo, she threw on her riding jacket and helmet. She grabbed her extra helmet and sped off to the other Jones sibling's dorm. She banged on his door before shouting, "Oi! C'mon, Jo! School time, dude." Not hearing anything, she quickly figured he'd left already. That was even weirder, normally she'd have to come wake him up for school.

Minerva left his dorm and got back on her motorcycle. "Well great, he's cost me three minutes." She was late. This doesn't happen. Everything was off.

Finally arriving at school, she parked her motorcycle and walked into study hall where everyone was. Minerva was still wearing her jacket and helmet, but she didn't care if someone called her out. She would win any argument over dress code. After entering the room, she decided maybe she was the only one having a weird day. But as she got closer, she could tell everyone was having a strange start to their mornings. Lola was rocking flowers in her hair; Liv was in her pajamas; Diana smelled of alcohol; Kendra looked a beautiful mess; Axel was in armor?; her own brother, Jo held thirty dollars which definitely did not come from hers or his bank accounts; and Eden. Poor Eden was soaking wet and speaking to a fish.

She walked up to her friends nonchalantly and said through her helmet, "Good morning, everyone." Acting normally, she took off her jacket and continued, "Looks like everyone's having a weird morning." Minerva then unbuckled her helmet, "Seems like there's a theme going on here." Slowly but surely, she was piecing this together. She wasn't about to spill her entire theory just yet, there were plenty of holes in it.

Finally her helmet was off and sitting on the desk. "But I think I can figure this out if you give me till lunch." Minerva smiled at her friends not realizing that her helmet was hiding the one thing that was completely off about her today. Running a hand through her hair, she didn't realize that her hair was the single aspect of her dream that stayed.

"This is...nope." Wow. Okay, so a lot of things were happening all at once, very quickly, and Lola was starting to feel a little overwhelmed. The weirdest of all was Eden asking her not to talk to him. He like, never did that, who was this person, and where was the real Eden? You know scratch that, not the weirdest, Lola could only stare dumbfounded as she watched him not only talk to a fish (which why did he have by the way?) but it began to rain. Not outside, no, inside the classroom, right there in front of them. Lola said nothing, not having a chance to respond to anyone, and simply stood up with her bag, and proceeded to move to the front of the room. She gave a friendly wave to Jove and Kendra, despite the fact that she knew the other girl had already probably drilled holes into the back of her head. It didn't matter how many times Lola said she wasn't interested in Jove, Kendra never believed her. "My lord, what the hell is going on with these people?" The only one she hadn't seen yet was the last of the three boys who were interested in her (though honestly why any of them would be was beyond her.)

Anyway, she decided sitting and to watch from afar was more fun, and probably safer at this point considering all the crazy...she was really going to admit herself to a mental institution, she like, had to be hallucinating. But the others were seeing it too. So, a shared delusion that Lola was going to ignore for her own sake of not having to deal with it. The girl reached into her bag and withdrew a novel she had been working on, turning to the page her bookmark was kept on, she did her best to ignore what was going on behind her. Lola was not going to deal with this. Not today Satan. A few more flowers popped up in her hair, this time, they were pink daisies instead of white. Crazy wasn't going to let her go.

Axel sat down and looked towards everyone's antics, Minerva's blue hair while normally it wouldn't be odd that someone has blue hair when did she dye it? A question for later as he looked towards Eden cosplaying as pool noodle that was dropped into the ocean, he left the study hall and returned with a mop in hand. "Here, man." He handed it to Eden then returned to his own seat however his shoes got a bit wet from the water, he uttered a profanity under his breath which was uncharacteristic of Axel as small things like this usually didn't agitate him. "I kinda see what you mean, Min, Eden looking wetter than New Orleans, Kendra's crown or whatever that thing is, Diana smelling like a winery and a brewery got together resulting in her, Liv's pajamas, Jojo having 30$ dollars which is a miracle in itself and that thing." Axel pointed to the dog hanging on the tree branch outside.

Axel stood up from his seat. "This thing that happened to us... This feels like it was meant to happen, call me crazy but that's my hunc..." Before he could finish, Axel somehow slipped and fell on the ground If getting his shoes wet agitated him then falling on the ground was one of the worst things that could happen, his eyes glowed crimson once again and the armor from his morning materialized on him, his wrath was palpable, his body twitching with RAGE! He punched the wet floor then got up quickly, raising his right arm caused a fireball to appear in his palm, he was about to throw it at Eden's head but hesitated; instead of murdering his friend he decided to disperse the blazing orb without harming anyone."CLEAN THAT UP!" He bellowed at Eden with a deep voice. Axel seemed to calm down but unlike before the armor didn't disappear. "Oh goddamn it, now I'm stuck like this." Whatever was happening to them, Axel both loved and hated it. The dog on the branch barked happily and wagged its' tail.

"
At least this cape looks cool." A silver lining.

Every story had a main character and supporting character who helped them along their way but every good story also needed a background. You see those guys and girls walking in the background hurrying to class, playing a game of basketball or even just laughing for no apparent reason? Well, think of Ryder as the person in the background of ALL of that. For most of his life he would get good grades in class but not rise in the ranks in popularity or subscribe to something like that. Ryder did want friends but wasn't the one to approach people and since nobody approached him, he learned to be alone. Sometimes he would check with his two brothers but other people felt uneasy in his presence and as such, the daily routine of solitary confinement began to take root. Ryder developed a deep depression after this kept going for a successive amount of years and frequently thought about ending it all but there were just a few things that kept him from doing so. His brothers, the girl he liked and the darkness. He loved his brothers and knew they loved him, he wanted to express how he felt to the girl he liked but froze up every time and the darkness just called to him whenever he felt like life was completely useless. The essence of nothingness was quickly becoming his best friend and what he didn't know was that today was going to change so much so quickly.

He had completed all of the assignments from medieval history class and art class, the only two that he actually enjoyed besides gym. There was nothing else for him to do all one in his room so he took out his sketchpad. He didn't know why but about a week ago, he began to receive dark inspiration and it could be seen in his art. He flipped through various pages filled with dark swords, a dog with three heads, spooky skeletons, a graveyard and even a suit of armor which a very specific helmet. Thinking nothing off it though, Ryder layed back in his bed and began to think of Lola, before letting his hand move across the paper with amazing speed. Within the span of about two hours, Ryder had an amazing picture series of what he envisioned the first date between them would go. In the first scene, a skeleton with a cracked skull was walking hand in hand with a girl who looked exactly like Lola in the sand. In the second scene, the brittle skeleton and the girl turned towards each other hand stared into each other's eyes. The third scene had skin began to form all over the skeleton and in the fifth scene, the new boy and girl shared a kiss. It was supposed to symbolize how he was broken without her and how he believed that she would fix him.

Fatigue was now taking over and he had even forgotten to close the windows, cursing himself for the blast of sunlight certain to wake him up in the morning before it was even time for him to wake up. However, the darkness of the night would creep itself into his body, activating the powers of their dark Lord.

The morning light actually burned Ryder's skin when it shone past his window. The pain felt caused Ryder to shift away from the light, obviously ticked off. The pain and discomfort that the sun was causing their master caused the shadows in the room to close the blinds and stop the light from coming in the room. Ryder was confused about what just happened but then his mind began to shift to the amount of things he had to before he got ready and he just put his hands in his head. Lifting them up to begin the tasks though, he was met with a horrifying scene. Tentacle like shadows reached all over from the darkness of the room and began to iron his clothes, make breakfast, pack his bag an a plethora of other menial tasks. He wanted to scream but nobody would come anyway so he just decided to enjoy it while it lasted. By the time he got out of the shower, he was ready to go to school and he didn't have to be there for about another thirty minutes.

----------

Ryder walked into the first class of the day which was study hall with a black hoodie on. He had tried to go out with a regular t-shirt but the sun burnt his skin too much. The hoodie had worked up until now and there was now no way to take it off unless he got back into the safety of his room. But, he was here now and he would just have to get through another boring day like he had been doing for the past eighteen years. As he was going to his seat, he saw the girl of his dreams talking to his brother. A sigh passed his lips as he assumed his regular seat in the corner and put his head on the desk.

JOJO

JoJo watched as his sister walked in and sat down with them. "Nerva, its good you're here... things have taken a turn" said Jove as he tapped on the fish tank before making his way over. Then he got a good look at her hair, her BLUE hair. JoJo's sister wasn't the kind to just dye her hair on a whim, she was rational and methodical. She would have weighed the pros and cons of dying it for days before coming to a conclusion. He would have noticed her prepping for a new hairdo. So Jove knew that she had been affected as well. So even his older sister was changing due to this strange phenomena. Then he saw the dog happily bouncing up and down on the branch outside. However, he could only watch as the branch snapped under the dogs weight. "No!" said Jove as he reached out for the falling animal. This was a fourth floor classroom. The animal could be hurt if he didn't save it. Gritting his teeth, he silently prayed for the powers he had developed to save it. Suddenly a name appeared in his head. "CLEAR SKIES!!!" yelled Jove as he gestured at the falling dog. The dog fell onto something white and puffy. A cloud? thought Jove as the shape began to solidify.

Wandering over to the window, Jove saw the cloud assume a humanoid shape. It was a being of wind and moisture. Floating over to the window, it stared at Jove with sky blue eyes. Gingerly opening the window, the being shrunk to get inside and dropped the dog in front of Axel. It then turned back into formless clouds and flew into Jove. Clutching at his chest, Jove was left utterly baffled as to what just happened. Leaning against the wall, JoJo ensured that the momentary crack in his armor was replaced with a convincing display of serenity. "
It would seem that I have been effected by this in an even stranger way than Armored Axel and Blue Hair over there..." Jove calmly smiled to hide his complete confusion.

Was Jojo really taking this time to spit poetry, and flirt with Kendra? Of course he was, why would this be something serious, their lives were just falling into utter chaos. Nothing made her feel better then seeing Minerva walk through the door. "Thank goodness someone's still normal." Hearing her say she could figure it out by lunch gave her a much needed feeling of relief. That relief was slightly shook when she took off her helmet to reveal her blue hair, "Uh, hey Min? You going through a teenage crisis? What's with the hair dye?" she asked confused pointing to it. "Looks good! Just curious." Not that it didn't look absolutely stunning on her, like wow she was gorgeous with it, but it still wasn't really like the Minerva she'd known all this time to just up and dye her hair randomly.

Speaking of beautiful, not that she didn't think her friends were attractive in their own ways, today everyone looked especially stunning and she meant every single one, even Axel who she usually didn't pay much attention to. Well to be fair she didn't pay much mind to most of the guys in the room, to look at Jojo was to endure Kendra's wrath...honestly having Jojo glance at you was enough for that. Eden only ever had his eyes set on specific people at a time, and right now the apple of his eye was Lola, so trying to get him to see anything else was pointless. Axel was wrapped around Liv's finger like most of the male student body, and some of the female if she was honest. All in all they were too much trouble for Dee to even consider it, and now with all this hot mess attached to them she defiantly didn't want to look that way...but dang did they look good today. Despite all the new fashion choices the ladies were looking particularly stunning as well, but unlike the boys none of them were officially spoken for other then Kendra she supposed. She simply shrugged, nothing wrong with a little eye candy for this crazy morning. They all might be spoken for, imaginary or not, but she wasn't.

Her little self-distraction into la la land was quickly shattered by reality, or this strange version of it, when Axel slipped from one of the puddles and suddenly got furious. Not only did he suddenly have armor on out of no where (checking that off as a new fashion statement too), but he created a fireball in his hand. Luckily for all involved he didn't throw it, but still this was as weird as it get's. At this point Diana had reached her limit and decided to follow some of the others leads, and just sit back down in her seat and accept it. Ok, so she was crazy, that's fine. If only she could still get that drink. She glanced over to Axel, "Cool looking, just don't get it stuck in anything." She chimed thinking of The Incredibles movie. She blinked a second confused as to when Ryder even walked in the room. Him already sticking to himself and the sidelines didn't help him be very noticeable, but also not having a single reaction to anything that was going on around them didn't help either. She supposed this really was their life now. "All this is weird, and cool, and unfathomable, but seriously anyone got some water?" She pleaded to Minerva. She wasn't even going to try to make sense of whatever just happened with Jojo and...the dog out the window? Why was there-? Nope not gonna question it anymore, nope!

Eden frowned after hearing Axel take that tone "Who are you talking to?" Eden said as storm clouds started to form above him. "You think I wanted this to happen?" Eden started to step towards Axel his eyes turned white and his voice got deeper and the cloud got darker. Eden was normally a calm guy but his emotions seemed to be taking over him today "Hey... hey... calm down " The fish tried to plead with Eden turned to the tank shouted "Shut up," and the fish swam into their house. Eden caught a glimpse of his reflection and headed towards the door "I'm sorry...."

Axel looked downwards at the dog as it wagged its' tail, panting its' little tongue out. "Thanks, Jojo although knowing this dog, the fall would've just made the pooch mad." He petted his new found companion and wondered what name to give it, he gave this some thought whilst failing to notice Ryder calming entering the place without even questioning what was going on. "I'll call him Spot!" The dog barked with happiness and wagged its' tail faster."Who's a good boy? You are Spot, yes you are." His petting stopped when Diana referenced the Incredibles movie. "Hahaha, don't worry, Jerzy, I'll be careful." Axel referencing The Mighty Angel to Diana was gonna be the least of her worries if she kept up with those witty remarks.

While Axel was bantering with the others, he wasn't caught off guard when Eden's eyes turned white and clouds began to form above him, he was clearly angered by the Axel reacted to his abilities, Axel standing up from his chair, his crimson eyes met with the blank and white of Eden, hearing him say shut up to the fish and then leave suddenly was weird, he guessed Eden never wanted to be seen like that in front of others while Axel wasn't afraid to throw his weight around when needed, I guess that's what separated him from Eden.

”... Why do you seem so radiant today?” Kendra thought she could feel her heartbeat speed up a bit. This was right. Although, her reaction was certainly weird. Sure, she’d always had strong feelings for JoJo, and sure, she’d perhaps been a tad bit too jealous too often... But never like this. Startled by the effect the boy seemed to have on her, Kendra drifted off in thoughts, barely noticing the indoor rain (she could not remember that being on the forecast), and only partly listening to Jove stating the obvious.

The next thing that happened was a girl wearing a riding jacket and a helmet (which totally violated dress code) and looking very much a badass walking into the Study Hall of Craziness – Minerva. Kendra liked the girl quite a bit. She tried to pretend it did not have anything to do with Minerva being JoJo’s sister – thus excluding her from the list of possible rivals. It’s just that she is so grounded, a steadiness in this pandemonium. Nothing else. And, as to confirm Kendra’s thoughts, Minerva said something about having everything figured out by lunch. Reasuring and steady, that’s what I— What the? Her eyes widened at the sight of Jove’s sister removing her helmet, revealing blue hair. Definitely not normal. What was even more unsettling was the bond between Jove and Minerva. Kendra couldn’t actually see it, but she could sense it, alright. And it was strong. Not something easily manipulated. Definitely not something I’d be able to sever. Manipulated? Sever?

Shaking off the slightly worrying thoughts, she turned her gray eyes towards Axel, who was going on about all the things that marked the small group of... Friends, as anything but normal. Does he really not know the difference between a diadem and a crown? He should know what the symbol of— Kendra frowned. The symbol of what? She could not remember. That trail of thought had seemingly disappeared as soon as it begun.

”CLEAN THAT UP!” Kendra jumped at Axel’s surprisingly deep (and loud) bellow, and jumped again at the sight of him standing there in a full suit of armour, accompanied by a pair of glowing crimson eyes, and a literal ball of fire. Talk about needing some anger management. The cause of the outburst seemed to have been him slipping. On water. Which meant... Eden. Because, it rained inside. Kendra was glad she had not turned into a human fish, or a freakishly short-tempered monstrous guy in armour. The worst thing she’d have to visually deal with was her diadem. Which actually looks kind of good. Could be worse. And then Axel was flaunting his cape.

Kendra vaguely noticed the gloomy presence sitting in a corner, but her attention snapped (yet again) to Jove. Considering that the boy had just summoned some sort of cloud-monster-servant, it wasn’t all that uncalled for. And damn did he look good doing it. Kendra’s mouth formed a small ’o’, her eyes widening even more than when she’d seen Minerva reveal her blue hair. When Jove then proceeded to smile calmly and say ”It would seem that I have been effected by this in an even stranger way than Armoured Axel and Blue Hair over there...” Kendra couldn’t help but snort, albeit a bit too soft for the situation.
”Understatement of the year,” she said faintly, wrapping her arms around herself.

Had this been any other regular old Tuesday (or any other day, for that matter; she wasn’t picky) Kendra would’ve laughed, or at least smiled, at Diana’s comic relief moments. But alas, it wasn’t. And so, when the other girl asked for water, Kendra just watched her with confusion in her eyes. ”Uh... You could ask fish-guy over there... With the... Rainclouds...” Kendra trailed off and had to force herself not to gulp. Did Eden’s eyes just glow white? Seriously, what’s with the glowing? Feeling rather unnerved, she decided to follow Lola’s lead for once. Kendra reached into her bag, grabbed the battered copy of The Iliad she’d acquired from the school library, and picked up where she’d left off.

Minerva ran a hand through her hair again confused when she heard what her sibling and Diana said... "Blue ha--" a strand of blue fell down in front of her face. "What the--?" She thought she was having a strange day, but she would've never thought to ignore something like this! Picking up her helmet, she looked at her reflection. It was blue. Not that it didn't look okay, just unexpected. She placed her helmet back on the desk and brushed it off as if she didn't almost have a heart attack.

Her brother somehow was able to control clouds and save a little dog, now named Spot, from falling out of a tree. It appeared as if they've all been affected in different ways, and at differing levels. Some seemed superficial, others more... she didn't want to say magically... but that was the best word that could describe some of their strange behaviors as of that moment. Speaking to her brother, she stated with an exhaled breath, "Yeah. Glad I could reassure you, Jo."

At the request of Dee, she took out a water bottle from her backpack and handed it to the other girl. "I got you, Dee. You feeling okay?" She worried about Diana's partying, but it never seemed to stop her from arriving to school and being the super fun person she is.

Distracting herself, she watched as the scene in front of her unfolded. As Axel became engaged over a slip up -- no pun intended -- she thought it silly for him to take it so seriously. And when Eden retaliated, his eyes glowing white, she almost took a step back. Not quite out of fear, but of slight excitement. Her heart was beating just a bit faster at the sight of them. She never expressed any romantic feelings towards any of them; she's always had something better to do to distract her... But she's always had a soft spot for... No! Now wasn't the time. With these idiots acting like this, she was worried about the safety of the other students. A weird feeling bubbled up inside her as a conflict was about to erupt. She couldn't place her finger on it but the urge to calm everyone down quieted every other emotion.

Minerva glanced over to Kendra who looked uncomfortable with the entire situation and grabbed a book. She got a good look at the literature, The Illiad. Huh, what a good story, she thought. Her thoughts about Kendra then surfaced: a beautiful girl worthy of love, but a very jealous type especially around JoJo. Minerva thanked her lucky stars that Kendra really never showed jealousy of her relationship with her brother. To be honest, she was thankful of Kendra's jealousy. It kept her brother safe, especially whenever she couldn't be around to protect him from his womanizing ways -- or protect the girls he encountered. Of course, she would never mention that aloud since that would only encourage the other girl, but she at least hoped Kendra would see her as a friend.

She shook her head to clear her mind. When Eden left the room, Min was half tempted to go after him to calm him down since she was always able to calm down and settle any upset emotions. But the little fish hiding in its tank made her think twice. Feeling bad for the classroom fish, she said, "It's alright, buddy," Softly placing a hand on the side of the tank, she continued, "I'm sure he'll return soon enough." She saw as the classroom fish peered out from hiding place, then coming out and swimming around once more. Minerva decided that if she could calm down an actual fish, she would calm down the human fish as well.

She left the group of students and walked out of the class to find and calm down Eden.

Eden stood in the hall and noticed Minerva coming out behind him, he tried to calm down but he could feel himself getting excited. "I'm alright, you can go back in the classroom I'm just going to go down to the pool and cool off." Eden had a crush on Minerva for as long as he could remember not a petty crush either he liked her for more than her looks her strength, strong will, and a great sense of humor her looks was a plus. Also, the blue hair was the bow on top: Eden turned and looked a Minerva "I like the hair edgy very edgy..." He said with a smile.

Diana kinda felt for Eden, but at the same time if that was his freak out reaction maybe leaving was for the best. After all she really didn't want to see the clash between the two boys right now. Mind you that's mostly because she felt like the whole room would be in the blast zone and she'd be a casualty in it, but otherwise if she was a safe distance she'd probably find it mildly entertaining. Diana blinked at Axel's reference, " Hey! I haven't had anything to drink, I just..." She paused realizing she couldn't explain why she reeked of alcohol and probably even looked a bit intoxicated to them, "Ugh never mind!" She pouted. Crossing her arms in front of her rolling her eyes. This was mildly annoying being unable to express herself properly because she didn't even understand herself right now. She tired to keep things a little light and witty, but all fun and games aside something serious was happening to them.

She scrunched up her face in disgust at Kendra suggestion, "Ew, I'm not drinking Eden's rain water....and he ran away." She was not about to drink at puddles either she still had dignity. Just like it wasn't like she was gonna go rink out of the fish tank. She didn't know if Kendra's suggestion irritated her, or if the situation was growing more irritating, but regardless her mood was slowly starting to sour.

Minerva became her saving grace as she was the only one who offered her a real solution and provided. "Thanks Minerva you're the best." Diana smiled gratefully to the girl taking the bottle in hand. This was all she'd wanted all morning. Luckily since she didn't come in direct contact with the water it stayed water, and she easily downed the whole bottle. She then watched as Minerva continued to be her usual self getting things under control, and eventually leaving after Eden. Diana figured she should fill up the bottle before returning it, but as soon as the thought occurred the bottle filled with the liquid. She blinked confused before opening the cap to smell the contents to realize this time it was white wine. Magically refilling itself made her groan. Yet another weird thing she could do, and she could only seem to create wine. She never thought she'd miss water so much. She also wished it could be lunch already so one she could eat, and two so Minerva could explain what in the world was going on with them. For now she'd distract herself by looking at Axel and his new dog who was rather cute.

There is a saying that there are people who are special in this world and those that are not. Those that aren't special in this world are useless and are thrown away like the piece of trash that they are. Penelope is one of those trashy people that I am talking about. For she is just your ordinary girl, who everybody seems to like at her high school. She brings nothing special to the world besides how beautiful she is.
The day before the powers of the gods had appeared was going to be a normal day for her. Because that is how boring she is to the world, and because of how boring Penelope is. I will skip the part of what she was doing on the day before the god’s powers had appeared. For she is just playing some video games at her dorm room, and not doing her algebra homework like she should be doing.

The next morning
Penelope was sleeping on the floor when her alarm went off, because she was playing her video games all night long until she passed out. As she thought that it would be a fun idea to do that before she had to go to school. Penelope got up from the floor yawning, press the alarm button, and went to do her usual things like eating breakfast, brushing her teeth, brushing her hair, washing her face, and changing out of her pajamas. However, what Penelope didn’t notice that she was late for school nor that her acne is gone, but that didn’t seem to bother her. She continued to do those things until she was ready, and walked towards the study hall without knowing what was going on there.
Once Penelope had arrived where the study hall was at, she opened the door to see something unexpected. Some of the kids looked different while others were....how should I say this. They were using magic or something from their hands. Either way, the study hall looked like a mess, since there was water everywhere and a fist-shaped hole in the floor. Heck, someone even brought their dog to the study hall for some reason.
Penelope was just standing there with a look of shock on her face, because she doesn’t know what was going on. But then that look of shock slowly turned into curiosity, as she wanted to know what happened. “Hey. What happened here, since the study hall looks like a madhouse now,” said Penelope. Her curiosity to find out what was going on had gotten her interest. For she thinks that this situation was fascinating because of not seeing anything like this before. ‘I don’t know what is going on here, but I really want to know. I mean nobody would make the floor this wet without using a bucket of water, nor make a hole like that without a sledgehammer. Now that I think about it, I don’t see a bucket or a sledgehammer anywhere.’ thought Penelope. ‘Also why is there is a dog here? Because I don’t know why they are there unless it’s the teacher’s dog.’

Still trying her best to ignore literally everything going on behind her, she glanced back slightly when she heard Penelope. That precious bean was too good for this world to have to put up with whatever that was, Lola must rescue her. The blonde sat her book down, then picked it back up, stuffed it in her bag and sling that over her shoulder approached Penelope. "Just ignore, literally just ignore everything that's going on right here, and come with me," She said, grabbing the other girls arm, almost dragging her away from the mess that was the other people. If people were gonna act crazy, let them, but don't drag innocents into it. Like Lola, or Penelope. An or...that hooded figure in the corner of the room! The one person she hadn't see today, was Ryder with his oh so annoying habits. Sure, overall he was harmless, but sometimes a little creepy. Anyway, Lola lead Penelope as far away from the chaos that was the rest of them, over to Ryder's corner of solitude, which was no longer solitary. "Sit, " she told the other girl, letting go of her arm, Lola herself took a spot in front of Ryder, leaving a desk beside and behind him free. "We are now the corner of normal people trying to just ignore whatever is going on over there because, for all we know, it could be an elaborate prank set up to see what the general population's reaction is to..." She gestured to the group in the middle of the room, "Whatever that is."

The night before, Luna spent in her private apartment with the latest nature documentary on. She watched as the lion on screen stalked its' prey. He was hunched and slowly making his way towards the unsuspecting impala. Just at the right moment and then... the lion pounced. Claws sinking into flesh, then teeth. Luna lifted a small cup in support of the lion's victory, then turned the television off. She sighed heavily and made her way towards bed. Luna was always a night owl, and even before she looked at the clock she knew it would be way past the time needed for a healthy amount of sleep. She settled into bed and let her dreams carry her away...

The dreams were weird. She started with a bow in her hand and an arrow knocked, ready to go. Two wolves at her side. They both snarled at the prey ahead of them. The moon shone bright above her, illuminating her skin and surrounding her with a pale glow. The wilderness around her was loud with the sound of insects and the rustling of the leaves. But she could hear her prey. Breathing. Unknowing. She looked forward and as she did so, let go of the drawstring. The arrow was sent forward and with a loud thwap! the sound of the arrow hitting its target was made. Her wolves suddenly bolted and brought her back the corpse of a wild boar. Her arrow was sticking out of it.

The dream shifted. She was now standing above a little girl moaning in pain. Even before Luna rested her hand on the girl's forehead, she could feel the heat rising off of her. She closed her eyes. The heat began to dissipate. When she reopened them, Luna was now looking at the same girl but she was healthy. The sweet innocent youth shifted from view as she found herself in the wilderness once again.

This time she was surrounded by wildlife. She looked at them all and she was met with looks of respect. She could hear them all. Worshiping her greatness and glory. "Our Queen, our great Ar...

Luna woke suddenly to alarms blaring. She reached for the button to stop the noise but she found she couldn't. She couldn't move any of her extremities. In fact, it felt like she had none. This was not right considering the night before she had both her arms and legs still attached before sleeping. Luna took a deep breath in and focused more on her surroundings. She was laying on her stomach, her head on top of her pillow. Her body wasn't there... where is my body? she pondered. None of this was right.

The alarm clock was still going off and she hissed at the noise. That's not right. It was a literal hiss. Luna whipped her head around suddenly and found the rest of her body... in the form of a snake. "No, no no. That's not right." Slowly, she wiggled towards the edge of her bed. It was a steep drop. Definitely not something she wanted to do. Her eyes closed; her head was swimming. Why am I a freaking snake? This is a dream. This isn't right. Frantically, Luna paced (as much as a snake can pace) back and forth. Eventually, she called down enough to decide that if this were really a dream, she could just switch back to herself. After a few moments of concentration, she found herself sitting atop her bed. Legs, arms, regular skin, everything back to normal. No more scales, no more slithering around on her belly. Luna let out a deep sigh. It was time to wake up from this dream. She slapped herself. It left a stinging print on her face. Hmm, she thought. Maybe I already woke up.

She glanced back at the alarm clock and turned it off. "Damn it! I'm running late" The whole snake ordeal lasted a solid thirty minutes and now Luna would be late for her first period. Quickly, she undressed as she mumbled curses under her breath. After 10 minutes of rummaging around, Luna was ready to go. Right as she was about to walk out the front door, a soft yip! came from her couch. Her eyes caught sight of two puppies on her couch. "How did you get in here?" She walked over to the young pups and scooped them both up, one in each arm. One of them licked her face while the other nuzzled itself into the crook of her neck. Luna had never been able to resist puppy love, or love from any animal for that matter. There had always been a certain allure for animals towards her and she had always accepted their love with open arms. She giggled and held them closer. "If I had time I would get you guys all set up here but..." For a second, she stood in the center of her living room pondering. "But I guess for today we'll just have to take you to school. You guys will have to be quiet though, okay?" Carefully, she put one of the puppies into her large messenger bag, then slipped on a hoodie and slipped the other one underneath. The puppy in the sweatshirt popped its head out of the head hole. "Alright sweeties. Off we go."

And with that, they were on their way to class. It was a short walk from her apartment to school but the delays this morning meant she was guaranteed to be late. Luna walked on for some time until she heard the skittering of feet behind her. Slowly, she looked behind her shoulder and found tens of little animals following her. Chipmunks, squirrels, moles, shrews. Even a couple birds perched on the nearby fence. "What the..." She was used to attention from animals, that had always been something about her. But this is just ridiculous. "I'm sorry guys, you can't come with me right now. Stay here." A lot of animal heads turned to the side as if to try to understand what Luna was saying. Great, now I'm talking to animals. What is with today? After a staring contest with 20 some animals, Luna turned on her heel and headed towards class. There were still sounds of scurrying, but they had decreased significantly.

Finally, she reached school. There were still a couple of chipmunks and squirrels crowded by her feet, but otherwise a majority of the animals had gone away. Quietly, she slunk towards study hall. The plan was to walk into the classroom discreetly without anyone noticing. As she looked around the room, she realized it was a lot more likely that she wouldn't have to try to not be noticed as it seemed she had missed some mass chaos. The floor was sopping wet. Someone reeked of alcohol. A dog stood next to Axel. Well at least I'm not the only one who decided to bring their pet to school today, she thought. More importantly, Luna noticed Minerva wasn't in the classroom and her heart sagged a little.

After another glance around the room, she decided to take a spot behind Kendra and JoJo. Luna slunk into her spot and leaned in. "Did I miss anything?" She whispered.
