Chipapa
"Why did you lie Chipapa? We both know you are more than familiar with nearly all forms of Divination." An enormous Toad sat upon the stool once occupied by Misaki "You know exactly why Toltecatl. If she learned the true interpretation she would be terrified, and before she is burdened with such a terrible prophecy, especially at such a young age, she ought to learn how to control her powers, and most importantly how to shield her mind. I would rather she learn of it at a more apt time." "YOU FOOL! You know that it is impossible to shield her from the truth, a seer will always seek it out! Ignorance may be bliss, but what she doesn't know CAN KILL HER! Speak to Magnus this instant, we must pull her from regular classes." Chipapa shakes his head no. "You are correct, wise one. I should not have tried to withhold the truth of the prophecy, and it is better she discovered the truth of the matter at a time I could give guidance. But you know as well as I that we cannot ask Magnus to have her cease a normal classroom routine, nor would he approve it. What's done is done, and all that's left to do is watch how things unfold whilst poking things into the right position every now and then." "That is true enough Ahuacatl, now do you have anything for me? I'm famished" Chipapa chuckles "As a familiar, you don't even need to eat, Tomahuac. Of course, I've got something special." Chipapa pulls out a mouse of suitable size and feeds it to his already gigantic familiar who begins munching his thanks in Nahuatl.

Bithiah the Black
Upon entering the classroom of Professor Bithiah the Black, also unflatteringly referred to as Bithiah the "Bald" the first thing you notice is the lack of light. The second thing you notice is the altar illuminated with what appears to be a spotlight, though when you try to follow it back to the source, one is not visible. Atop the Altar and scattered across the ground next to it are also the numerous remains of various stuffed animals. Behind the Altar, is the cause of this strange scene, one Professor Bithiah of Egypt currently disembowelling the latest fluffy toy animal, completely unperturbed by the arrival of the students. Any attempts to intertupt or question her are quickly stopped with a snap of her fingers and their immediate loss of speech. When finished, Bithiah, at last, introduces herself. With a wave of her hand she makes all the desks and chairs vanish spilling the occupants onto the floor saying "My name is Professor Bithiah the Black of Egypt, and I will be your instructor in the art of Abjuration, or what is called White Magic. This is an extremely wide category of magic that largely encompasses defensive magic, shields, barriers, banishment, dispelling enchantments, reinforcing other spells or magicians, and numerous other uses. It is quite versatile, and yet it is grounded in all the same basic principle, the idea that magic can be cancelled out or used to fortify or add to something else. The most basic of these uses is as a shield or a magic barrier. And so as your first lesson, you must take this chalk and copy this symbol EXACTLY. At the end of class, you will be tested on how well both IT and YOU hold up." Bithiah summoned a box of chalk, took one out and with a speed and precision that comes only out of endless practice and the knowledge that your life is on the line should you fail, drew this symbol upon the ground in front of the altar, she set the box of chalk upon the altar and stood next to it with arms crossed.

Misaki Himegami
Misaki walked into the class a tad late but she saw the teacher draw the circle with chalk. She then tilted her head and took out a different note book, one she would label white magic, before taking notes on the circle. Blathnaid was at her feet and seemed to be asleep but the fennec fox was looking at the circle with curious eyes. She kept to her summoner and hoped she wasn't quite late enough to notice.

Lixue Abari Thorn
Lixue came to class with Asha on her left shoulder and looked at all the stuffed animals around the altar.

Magnus had just waved off Minerva and the others to head off to class when he finally looked down to notice a Dik-Dik who somehow made it in without him noticing. Beside the fact that he was convinced that he needed to update the defensive wards on his door he was left wonder why Aelinore sent her ahead. He was pretty sure that she should of at least learned that even someone like him was incapable of speaking with her familiar. At least this did mean that she was close and on her way back to see him. Petting the Tiki on the head he sat down behind his desk and sent out some spirits around the school to see if he was going to have any other visitors. Aelinore seemed to be with Allen as well but he did also notice that two others were coming his way. He noticed one as Andrew who must of been escorting that student that was unable to make it the day before. Adding on top of this once he was finished he found another paper on his desk saying that another student had not made it. This has been a very busy day for sure.

Andrew wasn't surprised in her switch after seeing the uniform. She wasn't the first to ask that way when seeing it and she wasn't going to be the last. He kind of wanted to laugh a bit in the way she was talking like he was the one who designed the uniforms. "I don't expect you to wear anything, he replied. "Those are just the academy rules that everyone has to follow. And trust me no one will think of jumping you around here when they would have to deal with the head of security or the headmaster. So yeah it may not be the best thing to fight in but you will never have too. Even when you are in your combat magic class you are allowed to wear gym clothes since it's the only class that is more physical than all the others. As for it having a skirt that's just something you're gonna have to deal with." Andrew reached into his pocket and pulled out a sheet of paper and handed it to JD. "These are the academies rules just so you know before you accidentally break one. Best to not do that since I heard two students already did and you don't wanna end up like them."

"There's a Magic combat class?" she asked with excitement. "I still hate that Uniform, but that magic combat class sounds more my speed." She took the piece of paper from him and read through it, and of course, the first rule would be a dress code. They actually had to wear those huh... It may have been Magic School, but it still was a school. From the list, in truth, she only really paid attention to five of them. Most of the rules had to do with Magic, something that was still lost to her. She hadn't even learned how to do Magic yet, and the only way she could harm anyone was with her Pocket Knife, well, that and her own body. JD was a weapon herself, she didn't like to brag but her Uncle had taught her well. She crumpled the paper into a ball and stuffed it into her back pocket, right next to her Pocket Knife. "This whole... thing, Magic, it's sort of starting to sink in a bit." She said. "It's still unbelievable, but I can take it at face value at least. And don't worry about me breaking any of your precious rules, everything should be fine unless a bitch tries me. How bad is punishment though? Instead of detention, do I get flung into a black hole or something?"

Quinlan63 Quinlan63

"Well that's comforting to know," he replied to Jocelyn's comment on not breaking the rules. "Punishments can vary really depending on who is giving them. If the headmaster is punishing you it could be as simple as detention or as complex as having to perform a sequence of spells until you got it right or until he was bored watching you fail. If it's any of your professors then I'm not really sure myself. I had spent most of my time just coasting by not trying to do anything wrong when I was a student here. I never heard what happened to the others in my class who did something wrong. I will say though that Bithiah, the white arts instructor, is not someone to be messed with. She's lived for at least 5000 years and isn't one to play nice with those who piss her off." He remembered one of the guys from his class tried to play a prank on her in the middle of class. Well needless to say the guy didn't ever try again after she was done with him. "Oh that reminds me I should warn you that some of the instructors and faculty here aren't as old as they look. No one I know has knowledge of the headmaster's real age but most of us guess he has to be around 6000+ years old from the way everyone treats him. I can say though he is a pretty chill guy so don't say anything... overly aggressive and you'll be fine with him. Everyone else ranges from as young as 28 to as old as 5000 and you would never really know who. Well I guess accept for some of them that kind of look there age I guess. Oh that reminds me do you have any questions before we get there?"

Allen walked to...What was it again that they had to go? Oh that's right! Kitchen! Aelinore needed to eat because of something so he was following threads his tarantula created to get to the kitchen easier. His thoughts often went to how her magic worked or how she became like this but he pushed it back at the back of his head. It wouldn't do any good to ask too many questions on things when he had an artifact to find. It needed to be his top priority but he didn't need to have it consume him. He was a patient man, unlike those who requested this artifact. The more information, the more he would question why he even got into this.
"Not far now. The kitchen is just a hallway away."
He said to Aelinore.

Misaki Himegami
While taking notes, Misaki saw the stuffed animals and stopped taking notes to think on why there were stuffed animals.
"Excuse me, Professor? Why do you have stuffed animals on the altar?"
Misaki said, hoping her tardiness wouldn't be caught, but she also hoped the teacher would give a straight answer.

"Wow..." She muttered. There were people that lived that long here? So Magic could really do things like that. Magic could make you live for thousands of years, it allowed you to fit entire apartments in what would have been a small dorm space, and it allowed you to quite simply create anything out of thin air. Magic seemed to be able to do so much, it gave it's wielder the ability to bend reality to their whim. Thoughts began to cross her mind, such as a wave of striking anger that she tried not to think about. Her reality, everything she knew, everything she thought of, what her world was built upon. Her Uncle had died and nothing could have changed, her father died before she could even remember him, and nothing could have changed that. Her mother was currently in a catatonic state because that was reality, and nothing could change that. And now to find out so late into her life, after all the pain, after all the hurt, that with a flick of the wrist, it could have changed. It all could have changed. But that wasn't what she wanted to focus on right now, what she wanted to focus on was her mother. "I have a trillion questions, but the only one I want answered right now is this. Is it possible to heal someone who's in a catatonic state?"

Ellie was both impatient, but also patient at the same time. She felt useless in this state, unable to do anything except rely on this mostly stranger for help. But, she was thankful to have anyone help her in general. "Thank you... again." She didn't know how many times she had thanked him already, but it never seemed like enough. She stayed quiet through the rest of their trip, getting to the kitchen in no time at all. As soon as she entered, a couple of the chefs recognized her immediately. They insisted that she go straight to a table and so she did. The cafeteria was mostly empty at this point, she assumed because the students were going to their classes. When she sat down, they brought three heaping plates of food and several glasses of water and other restorative liquids. She closed her eyes for a moment, gritting her teeth to get over the initial nausea. "Please, help yourself." She made a gesture to the food in front of her, hoping that Allen would partake in some of it as well.

As soon as she had steadied herself, she dug in. The chefs had piled on foods from different cuisines, most of it the last of what was left over from lunch, but she didn't mind. It was all delicious and she love all types off food. There were little mini-sandwiches, a small section of pasta, pizza, a little bit of curry, just to name a few. She relished in the food, but she ate quickly. She knew that there was a lot to do and she couldn't waste much time with this. Once she started to eat, she ate fairly quickly, not leaving any room for conversation between the meal. She finished two of the three plates and drank most of the cups of liquid, but left plenty of food and drink for Allen. She knew her appetite was much larger than most others, which was fine by her.

When she had finally finished, she stood up and stretched, almost immediately better than how she was before. She did a half bow at Allen and threw in another thank you. The food had indeed done wonders and she was feeling much better now. "Well, now that that is taken care of, we must now go see Magnus. Or at least I must. I have returned late and will be behind on several things. If you would like, we can go together, but if not. I shall see you another time, yes?" With that she nodded and took off, half jogging until she got to Magnus's office. When she got there, she knocked on the door frame and bowed to him. "Sir, I deeply apologize for my late arrival. I ran into some trouble, but I will make sure such things do not happen again. What would you have of me, Sir?"

Anna's conversation with Morkari fell short as suddenly the seat from beneath her ceased to be. She could also feel the notebooks and supplies on the desk topple to the floor as well as her familiar growl in annoyance. Immediately she felt a mixture of embarrassment and pain. Pain from her collision on the floor, her bottom, back, and head all burning from the sudden impact. Embarrassment clouded her face and she knew her cheeks lit up a bright red. She scrambled, trying to gather all of her supplies. She struggled at first, trying to find reach around for all the scattered items, but her familiar soon jumped in, guiding her to where the items were.

She quickly stuffed all the things in her bag before standing up, doing her best to regain her composure. She felt herself shaking, but she still took several breaths before focusing back on the teacher. What was her name again? Bithiath. Her familiar piped up and she nodded silently. She tried to pay attention, but already her heart dropped. She was supposed to draw something? How even was that possible? Even her familiar had doubts. It's... a complicated image. I don't think I can describe this to you in enough detail to be accurate. Maybe... you can talk to the instructor? It was then that she spoke to another student and Anna's heart sank even more. No, she was quite sure she would rather sink into the shadows and hope to be forgotten until the class was over.

Bithiah the Bald
"Why are you standing there asking dumb questions? Go draw your circle already." Bithiah threw a piece of chalk at the young girl aiming for right between the eyes. Unless the girl caught it her aim would be true. "Some people just don't know how to follow instructions, do they Apophis?" A long and green noodle shaped creature crawled out from inside the voluminous Egyptian robes Bithiah wore. "They cccertainly don't ssshow ressspect like they usssed to Bithiah. Would you like me to insssstill it in them for you?" "No need Apophis, It just takes some time." "Assss you wisssh my massssster." The ball python slinked back into the recesses of his master's robes and Bithiah took her gaze away from her slithery familiar to see if Misaki did what she was told.

Andrew thought for a bit about her question as it was an interesting one. "I've never heard of anyone healing someone who is suffering from that but it should be possible. There are tons of different healings spells, one of them is bound to work." Truth be told for all Andrew knew he could of been taught that spell in class himself but would know. He didn't pay to much attention in class since he was always able to pass every assignment with no problem. This was just another reminder that his instructor were right about him needing to actually use his full potential and stop slacking off. "There should be a whole section in the library that has something on that, if not you could get lucky and learn it in class."

"Perfect timing," said Magnus as Ellie stepped into his office. "Don't worry about the delays I have more important things for you to keep focused on. There is another student that we failed to retrieve yesterday. I need you to go get them right now before something happens and Discordia has a chance to track them down. There movements lately have been odd from the reports that I have gotten and it looks like they have been trying to get to the students before we can." The Order of Discordia seemed to have decided to recruit young uninitiated mages before they could be told the truth of things. "Oh wait I totally forgot, did you....." Magnus stopped as he realized that tiki had brought him the book he sent Ellie to get for him. "This is excellent work you've done here," he said raising the book. "I will want your full report once you come back with the new student."

"Really!?" She exclaimed, her voice ringing against the halls. Her excitement could be felt by the way her words rolled along her tongue and out to her lips. This was it, all the doctors, the therapists, everyone said she was a lost cause. Everyone said that she would never be the normal mother that JD wanted. But this school was giving her a chance! She could finally bring her mother back, she could give her a normal life! JD sighed and gave a solemn smile. "That's... That's great." She laughed between her words, she couldn't believe it, she was actually going to fix her mother! JD's hand reached for her chest, where the Crucifix lay and lifted it up. She had another question, one more question. She knew that if he was here he'd probably beat the shit out of her for even thinking of it, but she had to. She had to at least try! For him, and for the father, she never got to know. If things went the way she wanted them to, she could have an actual family. "Is there... Is there a way to bring someone back from the dead maybe, possibly?" She asked him, although her tone held the sense of someone who was practically pleading.

YUNA JEON

Yuna's earlier desire to go back to the orphanage strengthened upon entering the classroom. The whole place was dimly lit and the young female has never dealt well with the dark. How are others supposed to see her overwhelming beauty clearly if there was an inadequate amount of light!? To make matters worse, there was a strange altar being accentuated with light from somewhere Yuna can neither see nor tell. However, that wasn’t the spookiest thing there. Scattered around and on top of the table were stuffed toys- ghastly eviscerated. Yuna felt a great chill run down her spine as she took notice of the woman behind the dramatic environment. Although she felt like she just walked in a set for a horror movie, the singer couldn’t help but imagine herself without a hair just like the professor. That’s scary.

The Whale Summoner moved to sit in the front row. Despite being highly spooked out by all of this, she still needed to be near the spotlight. Unfortunately, she wasn’t even sitting for a minute when her desk and chair completely vanished into thin air. Yuna landed on the floor with a thud and a short scream.

“W-What the flipping heck!?” she cried out as she rubbed her aching back. She immediately doesn’t like this teacher!

Eventually, the hairless lady began to introduce herself and her subject: the White Arts. Again, Yuna found herself dozing off in the middle of the short speech. The professor was demanding that they copy whatever she scribbled down on the ground perfectly when the pink-haired returned to reality. Yuna scrunched her nose. It was like Art Class all over again! Except with more spook-o-factor.

“Excuse me, I don’t have a ruler!”

Ellie nodded again before stepping into the office. Tikki had found a small spot to curl up, content to stay there until she returned. Ellie turned her full attention to Magnus, her arms crossing behind her back. "Yes, sir. Of course. What can you tell me about the student and where might I find them?" As she spoke, she rubbed her arms, her fingers running over the various scratches. "Ah, yes. If you would also permit me. I should find a quick change of clothes in my quarters as to not frighten the student. I don't believe this appearance is quite welcoming."

Warner Holton

Warner stood out in the barn dressed in what he had considered his best, his hair was as nice as it was gonna get and his bags were still ready just inside the door of the house. He started growing hesitant of this new school he was going off to despite having been so gungho about the opportunity to improve himself. The more time he spent with his horses the more anxious he grew about leaving. His mother and father had left the house on a short vacation so the horses were the only things keeping him company. He opened one of the stalls and walked up to one of his favorite horses, a mare with a grey speckled coat, placing his hand along her back. "I just don't know any more...I feel like I'm abandoning my family. I just don't know whats gonna be the best for everyone...whats gonna be the best for me." One last time he hooked up the saddle to her and led her out of the stall to and hopped on, being on horseback always made him feel more confident in himself. Warner rode around the fenced in area of the barn and just continued to contemplate his options. "I think its what my grandpa would of wanted...I just hope they didn't forget about me girl." He trotted over to the area where they would often practice routines for shows and started making a round. He wasn't the best at trick riding but he could manage enough to slowly stand up on the back of the horse and feel the air push past him.

Andrew was stopped in his tracks the moment he heard the words "back from the dead" come out her mouth. In the recorded history of all magic including the two that have been brought back recently there were not many cases of someone bringing someone back to life. "Well I would be lying if I said no," he replied. "Powerful mages in the past have been known to be able to do just that. Unfortunately those cases ended with the caster dying themself, bringing the person only back as a living corpse, or bringing them back only to die seconds later. Only a few ever succeeded to perform that spell perfectly but even then they were masters who studied magic for many years. And even if you were taught how do perform such a spell one thing is always required, the soul of the person you want to bring back. Since getting one of those is so difficult and pretty much impossible if they have moved on from this world it is pretty much impossible to cast that spell correctly."

"Right here is everything that you will need to know about them," he said handing her the file." And yes you may go change. No need to scare them off before they know what they are getting into."

"Right... So I'd need to master Magic, and then find a way to get the souls back. But you're saying that it's practically impossible because it's so hard to do, right?" She lifted the Crucifix and kissed it, memories of her Uncle flying into her mind. Her Uncle wasn't like her mother or her father, she didn't get to know either of them. Her father died when she was young and from the same accident is what caused her mother to be in such a state. She didn't get to know them, all she could imagine was their embrace, their love, the love of a parent for one's child. But those were just thoughts, ideas. Her Uncle was the real deal. He loved her in her parent's place, he taught her about reality, about the world, about survival. He's the one who convinced her to keep her hair short since letting it grow out was a pain, he's the one who taught her how to fight, how to hold a pistol correctly, how to use a grenade, how to use a knife, things that most adults would find horrific was her version of a perfect childhood. Sure he made his mistakes, he'd gotten both himself and Jocelyn into situations where they both got burned, but in the end, he always had her back. No matter what was going on, the world could be ending and all he'd care about was her. He was just that great of a man. It's why her role in his death pained her so much, and exactly why she needed to bring him back. "My Uncle used to say that nothing was impossible, impossibility was a concept that he couldn't recognize because it's very existence said limited what he could do, and I've never met a man as free-spirited as him, a man who hated limits so much he constantly tried to break past them. I never really listened to him... Because well, before today, reality was reality, and things were impossible. But after everything I've learned today, I refuse to believe that bringing someone back from the dead is impossible. I'll do it... No matter how long it takes, no matter the consequences."

With one final bow, Ellie took the file and left, reading it on the way as she hurried to her room. When inside, she put the file down and quickly changed. Unfortunately, she didn't have many long sleeve shirts and so there was no way to hide the cuts on her arm naturally. Luckily, that was what magic is for. So, she switched out the tank top with a dark blue sleeveless button up blouse with a collar. She changed her bottoms to simple black plants and into simple black boots. She looked into the mirror and ran her fingers through her hair before straightening up. She closed her eyes and blew out a small breath, concentrating on first her hair and then her arms. When she opened her eyes, her stark white hair had changed to black. Boring, but normal. Next, she turned her arms over to see no more scars, which was good. It wouldn't do to show so much to a student before getting to the school. With that, she scooped up the file again and opened a door, well, the portals they used to get from the school to the rest of the world. Without a second glance, she stepped through.

It was warm, a lot warmer than the academy had just been and her eyes flickered shut for a moment, blinded by the sudden onslaught of sunlight. She raised her hand to create a smaall shield and looked around. A farm, as she recalled. She looked around, but didn't seee anyone immediately nearby. The house itself had bags packed and ready to go sitting at its doorstep. Odd, she thought. A day late and the bags were just sitting there? Her mind immediately went to fear, as she thought something might be wrong or the student might be missing. She quickly went over to the house, rapping her knuckles on the door and calling out. "Hello?" Her voice seemed to ring out through the house, which confirmed her suspicions that no one was inside. She quickly turned and her eyes scanned the sights in front of her. There was a barn, but at first glance it didn't seem as if anyone was inside. She did hear the distinct sound of horses neighing and decided to investigate.

Just as she had originally seen, no one was there, but one of the stalls was empty and fresh tracks led beyond. She quickened her pace and followed them until she came across a young man atop a horse. Her fear instantly turned to irritation. She knew that she was new, barely having started at the Academy, but here she was, coming to fetch this boy, and he was riding a horse instead of focusing on getting to school, like he should be. She quickly hid the irritation, her face turning into a blank mask as she walked over to him, careful not to get too close and scare the animal. She flipped open the file, looking at it for a moment to compare the picture to the man in front of her. It was definitely him. "Excuses me. Mr. Warner Holton. I am here to take you to the Nexus Academy of Magic. Please if you would, you are already a day behind and another class has just started. I need to get you there right away so you do not fall behind in your studies."

As Warner was riding around the edge and finding himself lost in his thoughts he finally noticed someone walking towards him. Looked like some snooty city slicker had arrived with some paperwork of some sort so he rode over stopping the horse just before her and hopped off landing with a solid thud tossing up some dust. Her face didn't look particularly welcoming or happy to be there but he wasn't one to greet someone so drearily. He looked down at her and gave her a big smile still holding onto the reigns but reached out his other hand saying, "Howdy ma'am what can I do you for?" with a very heavy southern twang. Then she spoke and confirmed she was definitely not from around here, she claimed to be from that magic school he had received a letter from but she didn't look like what he would have imagined a magic teacher to look like. She looked more like someone who would be talking to people about insurance policies. "I'm very sorry ma'am but you ain't look like much of magic practitioner, and did you say I'm late? Well damn that's unfortunate, pa always tells me I'm bad with time." He looked her up and down one more time, "Well how bout I take her back to the stall and I'll meet you out front. Don't wanna waste to much of a sweet ladies time and how bout I bring you a sweet tea!" He started walking away leading the horse back to the stall.

Ellie waited patiently as the boy spoke, having to remind herself that a lot of what she would be doing would be working with others. A lot of others most likely. It was especially difficult for her. Jealousy was not a feeling she was used to having, but knowing other people were getting these invitations to be taught magic properly. But, that was no matter now. She nodded at him, but couldn't help but quirk a brow. He ddin't quite believe in this concept of magic. It was no bother. It might come as quite a shock that this sort of thing was in fact real. She was prepared to demonstrate if need be, but he was already on his way, taking the beast back to its stall. She turned to him, but didn't move from her place. "Yes, please do so with haste. And that will be a no on the drink. I'm afraid we are on a short time schedule. As I said, you have already missed several classes and there is much to do before we can get you back on schedule." With that, she closed her eyes for a moment again, opening a portal back to where she had originally started. She hoped this sudden change of location would be enough to affirm the existence of magic and her ability with it, but she was already prepared for a second demonstration if need be. She waited for him at the front of his house, her arms crossed as casually over her chest as she could.

Andrew jus sighed after hearing Jocelyn's response on the matter. Resuming to walk he just shook his head knowing well enough that there was no point in arguing with someone this stubborn. "Alright well if that is what believe I won't stop you. Just be careful, you were here to have to listen to the speech they give here on the dangers of magic but I doubt that would convince you otherwise." He really did wonder where she kept all of that determination inside such a small body. Soon enough they finally reached the headmaster's office and knocked on the door and walked in knowing well that they were expected. "Sir I've returned with the new student I was sent to get."

Magnus had been in the middle of working an experiment on his alchemy station and signing papers when he heard the knock on his door. Looking up he saw Andrew and someone who must be the student Andrew was talking about. "Good I was wonder when you would get here. I have a few more appointments today and wanted to make sure I was gonna have time to see you both." Setting things down he moved from his desk to the table he has in the center of the room. "Please sit we have much we must go over I send you off. And Andrew please stay she will still need you once we are done here."

"It wouldn't, but thanks for the warning." Jocelyn kissed the Crucifix once more and then let it go. It didn't take long for them to arrive at a large pair of wooden double doors, which she assumed was the Headmasters office. Honestly, this felt much too strange, it was like she was going to the principles office, but with the principle being over a thousand years old and with only what she could imagine was incredible magic. Andrew knocked on the door, but immediately after entered the office. What was the point of knocking if he was just going to walk in anyways? Well, she couldn't judge, she wasn't the knocking type, she'd just walk in. Once the door was opened, JD got the first glance of her new headmaster. He was tall, as tall as Andrew, and had dark blue hair. He was at a desk with papers around him, as well as what she could only assume was some sort of scientist station. He looked so young... But he was really like 5 thousand years old, wasn't he? "Oh uh, sure." She said. She moved towards the table he was situated at, and sat herself down on one of the two chairs that were across from the headmaster. "Wassup Doc?"

Once both had sat down at the table Magnus motioned Andrew to hand him the file. Taking one last look at it he looked up with a smile at her at her question. "Well what's up is that we need to get you up to speed as quick as possible. Your lucky though that not much has been taught to the class that you are going to be in. But for now we need to at least help you summon your familiar so that you aren't so far behind. And to answer any questions you might have familiars are spirit animals that are a reflection on who you are as a person. Everyone has one because they are very useful when it comes to practicing magic. And as for summoning your own, it merely requires for you to focus on calling them. Now that your magic is unlocked this will be easy to do since familiars are merely waiting to be called. They live off the magical energy that flows through our bodies so without access to that you could of never been able to do this before." Magnus being as smart as he is also wanted to give her a little advantage to speed things along. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a small silver earring and placed it on the table. "Try this on it helps channel your magic while you're still in the learning stages."

"Huh... Well alright then." She muttered. She normally never paid attention to teachers, but he was no normal professor. He was magic, and he could teach her magic. The more she learned and the quicker she learned, the quicker she could have her family back. She took the pair of earrings and placed them onto her ears, she didn't exactly feel any... different though. "So uh, I just... call them?" She placed out her hand and focused, animal... spirit animal... She opened her eyes in hopes of seeing whatever her animal was, but, nothing appeared. "Er... I don't think it's working."

Andrew raised his hand so as to help with Jocelyn's problem was given a nod by Magnus to give it a go. "The process is a little different for everyone so it's hard to say if you are doing it wrong. Some can do this by purely visualizing your familiar appearing before them. Some need to draw a symbol that has some kind of meaning to them. Others give them a name that they can call out to, which I would say is a good choice. Your familiar is going to need a name any. But for the sake of you know what you might see let me go first." Standing up Andrew stepped back from the table and closed his yes. He had long done this so he could just call his familiar the easy way but this was a demonstration. "Come forth Brutus...." Before him a puff of smoke exploded and quickly dispersed leaving nothing but his cougar familiar Brutus. "It might not look like that when you do it but that's as simple as it gets."
