The Republic of Aroria was a stable nation with a climbing economy and and a center of industry, commerce, and culture. That was until The Invasion.
An invasion force form the United Empire of the mainland decimated the country despite a pyrrhic victory by the Republic. The nation was in tatters and the government was doing it’s best to repair the infrastructure. Frankly however, the population was growing restless. People were losing faith in the moderate parties who ran the government and were looking for radical or alternative solutions. The main moderate parties in the government, who were looking to not see their country fall to extremism or their opponents, used the military to remove the opposing politicians. This mistake lead to the other parties gaining support from different areas of the country. Cities were often divided with some neighborhoods loyal to a one party.
War is on the horizon as the population of Aroria arms to fight each other. Which ideology will dominate the island and bring piece to Aroria

So this rp is inspired from the Spanish Civil War, where political factions will compete against each other to control the nation. Your faction will be based off an ideology and your policies and culture will be a reflection of that ideology. We’re obviously gonna play on a nation that’s not on Earth but you can implement the policies of Stalinism, Trotskyism, Leninism, and Nazism if you’d like to. So long as those ideologies and policies correspond to the name of your faction.
I will of course will need someone to play as the Republic itself. If no one offers to then I’ll play that role.
Treaties can be made between one or more factions. Even those of completely polarizing ideologies can work together.
Equipment would early ww2 based, so 1939-1941. And since we’re all in the same country the weapons will be the same for all factions. You can of course have weapons from foreign entities who will give you support, but your base equipment will be homemade.
