With the new renovations complete, the doors finally opened in time for the first day of school. Its beautiful white stone surface, considered the nations crowned 'jewel' in terms of standard, shone brightly in the light of the sun. It is here that our story first takes place, when a student decides to start an unexpected club within this wondrous school.

Izaya Shrine, 6 a.m., Day of School, Monday...

Kei reached out with one hand to the sky blotting it out with his outstretched hand. He could feel the warmth from its rays as he yawned with his free hand. Turning around he looked at the Shrine with a cheerful nod. It had taken him the better part of 2 weeks to get the Shrine in tip top shape, but in the end it was well worth it. Sighing a bit exhausted, he begrudgingly made his way down the stairs to catch the bus. He might have just gotten finished checking on the shrine, but that still didn't mean he could slack off on school either. "Damn him," he grumbled to himself thinking of his Uncle who had drunken himself into a stupor every day instead of cleaning. "Just using me as an excuse to drink himself to death. Screw him..." Despite being annoyed, he was actually thankful to him all the same. He could clearly remember his Uncle saying, "Sulking will cause you nothing but harm. You need something constructive to do." Reaching the bottom step he turned to face the giant Torii and bowed before deciding it was now time to head to school.

Reaching the bus stop without incident he stood there waiting patiently. The comforting shade of the roof, gentle breeze carrying the smell of salt air from the ocean and the lingering odor of fresh foods in the distance all relaxed him immensely. "I could get used to days like this." There was nothing that could possibly ruin his quiet morning now. Or at least that is what he hoped.

Monica woke up late again, She should have been up a half hour ago to start getting ready for class. Dragging herself out of bed after another ten minutes of procrastination. Walking to her bathroom pulling her jersey off over her head tossing it into her dirty clothes hamper, or intended to the tank top hitting the hamper and rolling onto the floor. She would stare into the mirror a few moments before turning on the cold water cupping her hands under the water stream filling her hands and splashing some on her face Then she would give her teeth a good brushing, Finally placing the toothbrush and toothpaste back up, reaching over grabbing a hand towel she dried her face and returned to her bed room. She rummaged through a pile of folded laundry that had been sitting there since some time yesterday. Reaching in behind her and unsnapping her bra clasp then rolling her shoulders forward letting her bra slip onto her still unmade bed. Grabbing her grey colored Puma sports bra and putting it on Then she slipped a white silk button up dressy shirt on buttoning it all the way up except she made an exception leaving the top three buttons undone. Taking a seat on the edge of her bed slipping her shorts and panties off then slipping into a pair of matching grey puma cotton panties next She slipped on her plaid skirt standing upright to zip it up and pull the strap around and buckling it in the front. Lastly Monica slipped on her knee high black leather high heeled stiletto boots, She made a bee line towards the front door grabbing her backpack forgetting her cell phone accidentally on the coffee table as she ran out the door shutting it behind her, The girl ran and ran not stopping herself until reaching her designated bus stop, unable to stop gracefully Monica would bump into anyone with in the proximity of her failed stop before fumbling and falling flat on her ass with a loud thud. "Fuck damn shit that hurt!" She mumbled to herself and with out even looking she sighed softly, "Sorry such a clumsy broad today it seems!" She chuckled softly pulling herself back up to her feet bending over long enough to fetch her backpack tossing it back onto her shoulder dusting herself off her cheeks tinting a soft but vibrant pink as she blushed a bit embarrassed at her klutz!

Hearing the bus arrive Kei instinctively got up to get on board. However, being the only person there at the time he would have stepped on without thinking. He froze mere inches from the bus,"wait..." Something was wrong and he couldn't put his finger on it. Maybe it was the blurry letters or the feeling of dread in the pit of his stomach. The bus door, wide and inviting seemed normal enough but he couldn't shake the feeling. It was then the driver looked at him, the man's face was missing.

The smooth face driver gurgled a laugh in his direction, motioning for him to come. Then just as quickly the bus with the man was gone, replaced by a speeding truck. It blew by with reckless abandoned. Stepping back he looked down at his shaking hands. "That... That was..." He swallowed hard.

Every morning was the same, even in the summer. Alarm blaring at exactly 525AM, Hana waking up to shower for precisely ten minutes, making it 535AM, which left her another ten minutes to get ready for the day. "How are you even alive so early every single morning?" Her second oldest brother, Hiroyuki, would muse, to which Hana would shrug in response as she finished packing her last notebook in the brown leather bag of hers that she hoisted over a shoulder. "Remember tonight is family dinner!" Called the third oldest, Atsuki. Hana held back a groan of demise- she hated family dinners. It was a monthly get together with all six of them where they ate dinner while their parents asked for the updates of everyone's lives. It was the only reason why her three adult brothers were even in the house that day, so they can join for the annual family dinner. "How could I forget?" Hana grumbles, adjusting the strap to her bag as she reaches the door.

"Hana!" The calling of her name makes her jump, but the brunette turns to see the oldest brother, Gin, rush towards her with her scarf in hand. "You nearly forgot it." Hana lets out a relieved sigh, giving a grateful look and smile towards her brother as she takes the scarf from him. "Thank you, Gin. I'll see you tonight, good luck at work."

"See you tonight, duck!" Gin yells, making his sister cringe at the childhood nickname.

Hana takes the path she's memorized to the new academy, taking in a breath of the approaching autumn air. She appreciates the solitude of walking alone. It allowed her to think, to plan. Even when she ran into the occasional student also walking their way to school, it was a mutual respect for each others silence. Yes, she loved walking to school, especially on beautiful mornings. Hana pushes up the sleeve of her soft gray coat, checking the time on her watch. 615AM. She arrived to the front gates of the school at exactly the time she wanted to, and the first place she went to explore, was the library. Her eyes scanned for the signs that would direct her to the location, narrowing her eyes to read the ones she passed. "Of course my glasses break the day before the first day back..." She mutters in annoyance as she struggles to read the tiny words. Eventually, though, she found the room. She looks at her watch. 10 minutes just to look for a library. Hana huffs, but opens the doors to the room.

Though she had nothing to study now, she enjoyed looking through all of the isles, taking note of the books they had and what would help her with research, and which ones she could read on spare time as a reward for her hard work.

[div class=ColorBlock]Mariko

Mariko awoke with her alarm and stretched briefly before leaving the comfort of her bed, she shivered slightly and made a mental note to break out her comforter when she got back home tonight. She warmed up as she cooked breakfast and made coffee, Mariko had just set the table when she heard the shuffling of her sister coming closer. Suzuki gave a mumbled greeting and sat heavily in her spot, "thank you for the meal." Mariko got her own breakfast and coffee and sat in her own spot, when Suzuki woke up further she smiled at Mariko. "Big day today, huh? First day of a new semester. You going for student council again?" Mariko gave a small shrug, "most likely, but I was hoping to look around the other clubs first. Maybe I should try a sports or music club." Suzuki raised her cup in a quick toast, "well no matter what you do, I know you'll knock it dead. Just don't skip out on homework, oh and remember to go out with friends at least once a week. Got to make the most of high school while it lasts, ok kiddo?" Mariko nodded and flashed her a smile, "I will." Suzuki opened her mouth before she caught sight of the clock and immediately sprang up with a curse and rushed to get dressed, laughing softly at her antics Mariko collected the dishes and washed them. Mariko could hear loud thumping from Suzuki's room that signified her sister was clumsily throwing on clothes.
Closing the door to her own room Mariko flittered through her room getting ready for the day, after tying her hair back with a ribbon she looked to the picture of her mother on her dresser. Kissing her fingers she gently touched the glass, "wish me luck mom, I know that your always with me." She had just left her room when Suzuki barreled out of her own and gave her a quick hug, telling her to be safe before she all but sprinted out of the door. Mariko made sure to lock the door behind her as she left and she walked to her train with a small bounce to her step. Waving and greeting all she came across it didn't take long for her train to arrive. Settling down in an open seat she started to play on her phone, it wasn't a long commute but it did give her a good chance to collect herself and get ready for the day. Her stop came and she left the train, Mariko still had to walk a little way to get to the school so she hoisted her bag further on her shoulder and began walking.

Rowan Wolf
Rowan was never usually that late, so he wasn't that happy when he slept in that day. Getting dressed and eating a chocolate bar, Rowan grabbed his backpack and helmet. Bidding a soft goodbye to his parents, Rowan walked outside and produced a key for his matte black dirt bike and started it up as he put the helmet over his head. Rowan was a good driver, he was careful and followed rules on the roads like he should.

Setting off towards the school, he wondered if he'd get through another day, completely scot free. He never knew when someone would get bored enough to bother with him.
Parking inside the school gates, he turned the bike off, put his key away and dismounted his bike. Luckily for him, no one really noticed him in the mornings or after school, or he just left and arrived at times where there weren't any people that knew who he was.. With that, he headed inside to store his helmet in his locker.

At the morning, Sumire woke up with a feeling which was familiar: a long, chilly shiver ran over her body, along her skin. It wasn't a usual shiver, she knew that. But this wasn't a new thing either because she had this feeling before. Many times. To her it was such like she would has came up from an icy lake and as if a cold, cruel wind would have attacked her wet skin... But there wasn't any wind in her bedroom, of course.
Finally Sumire sat up and she took a deep breath, so she was able to become totally calm. And she was ready to start her day.
Soon the alarm clock began to scream too.

She decided that she will take a walk to the Academy. During the trip she put her earphone on and she focused on the music. She always did that when her morning started strangely.
Music helped her a lot. Sumire didn't want to think about the premonition what told that something odd activity may disturb the atmosphere of the day...
"If you can hold your mouth closed,Sumire, then your first school day here will be great..." She told this to herself while she passed the first door of the Leslie Academy and she find her way to the central building.
"You just have to concentrate on the real people around you. Ignore everything else."
She took her cabinet key out of her pocket as she entered into the hall.

LyannaM LyannaM Finally arriving at school after coaxing himself into the next 'real' bus, he breathed a sigh of relief, a weight seeming to have been lifted from his shoulders. Deciding to walk towards the gates, he both accidently bumped into a girl to his left while rummaging through his pack and simultaneously dropped one of his hand made talismans on the ground. Being in such a rush he stopped quickly to apologise to the girl he ran into. Today just want his day. He asked good glasses quickly, "sorry about that, I didn't mean to run into you like that. Are you okay?"

"Big bro! wakey, wakey sleepy head!." Hibiki could hear the voice of his younger sister faintly. At first, he thought it was apart of his dream but her voice became more realistic and louder as she continued to attempt to get him out the bed. Her words had finally got through to him and after finding out that her voice wasn't apart of his dream, the young man had slowly sat up on his bed."....Aoi?" Hibiki rubbed the back of his messy dark hair and glanced over at digital clock that rested on his nightstand. Oh..he was going to be late if he didn't hurry up and leave."Hurry big bro! your going to be late!" Aoi scurried to get her older's brother book bag. While she did that, Hibiki started to get his self together. He grabbed his clothes and got dressed, brushed his hair down and brush his teeth. Lastly, Hibiki picked up his earbuds and threw them around his neck before grabbing his book bag form Aoi."Thank you Aoi~ i don't know what i'll do without you." a smile had came across the boy's face and placed a hand on her head." I'm sorry that i can't walk you to school today. I'll come and get you afterwards. ok?"

Aoi placed her hands behind her back and swayed back and forth some."It's ok big bro! mom said was going to take me anyway. Oh also, i'm staying after school with some friends today so no worries." it never seem to fail him how adorable his sister was. Although they weren't blood related, he cared so much about Aoi." Humm..well, alright. Have fun with your friends ok? i'll see you later." Hibiki didn't have time for more chit chat, it was time for him to go, so he rushed out the room and soon the house after greeting his mother. As soon as he got to the bus stop, the bus pulled up..nice, he made it just in time! with a sigh, Hibiki boarded the bus and sat at the back like he normally do. Different kinds of music blasted in his ears during his trip to the school and soon enough, the bus made it to the school. He didn't realize how sleepy he was because the whole time, he was nodding. Seem like he had another restless night.

Anyway, Hibiki got off the bus with the other students and walked inside the school with the music still blasting in his ears. He made his way to the hall like normally, towards the lockers to get his stuff out of it or place something in. Man he was hungry now. Hibiki didn't have time to eat breakfast at him house..guess it was his fault for waking up so early. Well, maybe it wasn't. He couldn't help that he was having bad dreams last night."I should eat something before i go to class." after making up his mind, Hibiki started to make his way to the cafeteria. He grabbed his self a blueberry muffin and milk, took a seat at a booth and started to eat his small breakfast. It should hold till lunch time.

[div class=ColorBlock]Mariko

Mariko had stopped briefly to admire the view of the school when she felt someone bump into her, the impact had her taking a step forward and she whipped around to look at who it was. Oh, if she was remembering correctly that was Kai Izaya, he tended to stick to himself and the most Mariko knew about him was that he lived at a shrine. She bent down to pick up the object he had dropped and was about to hand it back to him when she noticed what it was. A talisman, part of her figured it would make since for him to carry such things around all things considered. Her own tarot cards lay safety in her bag, but still it was strange. "You dropped this. It's a talisman right? Does it work?" Her basic understanding of such things supplied that there were different types, she wondered if this one was to ward off evil. She gave the object back to him when something sprang in her mind, "I don't mean to keep you from going to class, but do you believe in that sort of thing. Ghosts, demons, supernatural, and other stuff?" The shadowy silhouette that had comforted her years ago was clear in her mind.

LyannaM LyannaM Getting serious for a second he gently took the talisman from her. He remembered seeing Mariko around school before when he was first getting registered. He hadn't expected that question however from her. "Yes it's real, and yes it works but I've never had too use it much." He stated looking down at it in his hand. He honestly feel a bit embarrassed but that quickly faded.

Though he does work at the shrine he never really thought much about the paranormal until recently. For some reason paranormal things were happening a little more often now. "I kind of believe in it but I never actively searching it out, it kind of finds me." He grimaces thinking about the bus. " What about you? Do you believe in that stuff?" He asked looking back up to her, his eyes meeting her half expecting her to laugh or something about his question. He didn't expect her to believe so he figure she would just poke fun or something. He was issued to people doing that to believers in the paranormal.

[div class=ColorBlock]Mariko

Mariko hummed at his response, a working talisman that wasn't used. A small part of her suddenly wished to see it in use, see what it would look like warding off evil. She smoothed that fleeting thought away however, hopefully Kai would never need to ward off any evil or negativity in his life. Mariko leaned slightly closer as he spoke again, about never looking but the paranormal always finding him. She had done some small ghost hunts in the past, and while she had seen some truly odd things it had never been as clear as when her mother had visited. At his question Mariko paused, she had told no one about her closest encounter not even Suzuki. Mariko liked having friends, and she knew that if someone overheard her proudly proclaiming that ghosts are 100 percent real that rumors would circulate. But at the same time she wanted, no needed, to know more about this stuff. Internet surfing could only get a girl so far and if Kai was right then a whole new world could open for her. "Yes I do, completely and honestly I do. There are things out there that science can't even comprehend, and it's not all just a shared delusion. I don't know if you've noticed or heard, but there are some wild rumors about strange events popping up everywhere now in days." She had overhead classmates talking about various strange things, but whatever they said was always brushed away and Mariko never pried further. Perhaps it was time to actually look into some of those stories.

LyannaM LyannaM Kai closed his eyes and nodded calmly. "I see, I didn't expect that answer honestly." He never met anyone who believed in the paranormal except his uncle. Then again he was at least relieved. There was at least someone he knew that believed in what he thought. He looked around to be sure no one was watching or listening in.

"Maybe after school or on lunch we can talk about this in more detail." He checked his watch and realized they had about five minutes to get to the auditorium for the assembly. He told her the time quickly, "Let's talk on the go."

Mariko frowned briefly when he showed the time and nodded quickly. As they began walking she thought of something, "what if there are other students? We can't be the only ones who believe in that kind of thing." Maybe what they needed was a place for people who believed in the paranormal to go. But where?

As they walked in, his eyes glanced to their right. Already there seemed to be a number of clubs promoting this early and the school year had just started. Wait... Clubs... He thought to himself. "Are you thinking like something like this?" He asked pointing to the swimming club poster. "I'm not entirely sure how to start one of these but I think it's at least the basic idea right?"

It's weird. Why was he get so into something like this? The whole point of him staying clear of everyone was too keep his identity a secret. No one who knew his band name knew good real name and that's what has kept the days normal. Then again that apparition earlier was far too clear in his mind. Maybe this was the chance to make real friends.

Hana put down the book she'd picked up subconsciously, flipping through the pages. It seemed as though it'd been about Grimm's Fairytales, which happened to be interesting enough for her not to of put it down sooner. Just then, she looked at the watch on her wrist once again and silently swore. The greeting ceremony would be starting soon, and she was never late to those, no matter how repetitive they were. Putting the book back in its original spot, Hana hoisted her bag over a shoulder and left the library, heading towards the auditorium. As she walked, her eyes settle on a pair of students walking alongside each other, one of them pointing to a club poster. Had everyone already started thinking about joining clubs? Part of her believed it wouldn't be half a bad idea, to get a head start in the year and meet new people, while the other half told her it was her last year of High School and she needed to solely focus on herself and her academics. She wouldn't have time for any kind of relationship other than one student would with her studies, no matter how tempting.

With a sigh, Hana once again adjusted the bag on her shoulder and entered the auditorium, her stomach twisting and turning at the sight of so many students in one place. Loud events gave her headaches, and this one wasn't any different with all of the students laughing and getting to know one another, some of them standing or maybe jogging towards a friend or empty seat. Pinching the bridge of her nose, Hana scanned for an empty seat, but when she couldn't find one she would be able to tolerate the people around, she opted to just stand by the doors. Her hearing had been much better than her vision, thankfully, so it's not like she wouldn't be able to hear those on the stage this far back. She just hoped everyone else would calm down soon so she wouldn't have to worry about missing something- despite having heard the same speech four years in a row now. But of course, it was mandatory to attend, so she did. Besides, it was her last year.

But of course, it was mandatory to attend, so she did. Besides, it was her last year.

Rowan Wolf
Once Rowan stored his helmet away, he fixed his glasses and trailed off to the auditorium. He was a bit late, so seats were all taken up by those that were far earlier than him in arriving. With a soft hum from his lips, he shrugged his back off of his shoulders and into one arm. Shuffling around a girl that was also waiting by the doors, he sank down not too far away from where she was and fished a mechanical pen from his pencil case and began doodling on his arm.

He really had no interest in this kind of stuff, already had it relayed to him once and didn't need to hear it more so he didn't know why it was mandatory for everyone.. Plus, this way it would be easy to notice the stains on the white walls that they were, sitting there while everyone was in seats.

Sumire was able to push her bag into her cabinet after she turned off her phone and she grabbed some school things out of it what she will need later.
Without her earphone, now she heard the noises of the students... The sounds of the fast shoes on the corridor's clear floor as everybody hurried to the direction of the auditorium.
Of course, this is the order of the first day. The year always start with the greeting ceremony. Sumire wasn't the fan of this event because it never was too interesting. In her previous school she skipped the first day for example... But this day somehow she didn't feel the urge for this.
In this thoughtful state, she let that her feet start to move automatically, so soon she found herself in the middle of the students' march.
Sumire looked around herself and her different-colored eyes watched the young faces.
There was no one who would be familiar to her and as she recognized this fact she got an unpleasant feeling suddenly.
Quickly the girl searched and found a free way to the outer side of the crowd. She continued her walk there, far from the middle.
Finally she was near to the door of the auditorium when she noticed something what was really odd.
There was two school mate who was in front of her.
A red haired girl and a boy with glasses talked with each other, but what was strange to Sumire that she felt a kind of atmosphere around them. This atmosphere wasn't usual, this was like what Sumire could call as supernatural. And she knew it already. This supernatural aura also was there around her own mother.
This surprised her. It would mean that these two student was connected some paranormal activities? - Sumire asked herself in mind. She was unable to explain why, but she followed them until both of them took their sits.
Sumire's act became a bit awkward when she had to stood for a while there where was an empty chair next to the red haired girl.
Her first thought was that she should just sit down without any words... But that wouldn't be rude?
At last she decided to speak.
"Can I take this sit?" Her voice barely was more than a whisper, but she forced herself to continue. "But if this booked for someone already then it's not problem..."
Actually she was embarrassed because of her hypersensitivity indicated to her.

Sitting down and hearing the girl speak, Kai Looked up at the girl with piqued curiosity. He had no issue with someone sitting with them and after all it was a school assembly. "I don't mind if she doesn't." He said patiently adjusting his glasses with a smile. He could tell from the girls shaking voice and hand that she was, in fact, nervous. He wondered if she had indeed forced herself to do this or not, but in the end he respected her courage. He then, to boost that confidence, gave her a big smile in the hopes that she would calm down a bit. With their exchange he suddenly felt a cold chill down his spine. Had they already turned on the air conditioner this early? He wondered. However in the corner of his eye he saw a woman glide by in a silken white dress. Trying to focus on her for the brief moment she was there proved to be fruitless as she was already gone. It was almost like she wanted to be seen, but it was over far to fast. The temperature immediately returned back to its regular temperature without missing a beat. The Principal showed up from side entrance to take the center of the stage.

In the microphone he spoke, "Due to a bit of confusion the assembly will have to wait for a few more minutes. It seems we have a few stragglers here and there on our first day, bare this in mind." The Principal took a step from the podium and began talking to another staff member about something else entirely. The group of students who were silent for the most part began talking among themselves about the circumstances.
