Futuristic Fate of the Stars of Life (EPISODE 1: Lost & Found)

The man mutters to himself, “All the flesh I have is scarred...” thinking no one hears it, and then goes quiet again while keeping pace with the Captain.

Susan continues to lead the recruits in the tour until then enter a large room. "This is the main cafeteria, where meal breaks take place," Susan said. The cafeteria has a white, streamline design with comfortable chairs and roomy tables, with a buffet section at the far right side that appears empty. There are a small group of Humans that are chatting, having arm wrestles, just generally having fun. They are all armored soldiers sans helmets.

"Hm... This looks pretty good so far..." The ghost is particularly drawn to the chairs and the buffet section, but regardless, she can hide in practically anything and anywhere (just ghost things), but hey, it is what it is. She sighs a little bit, thinking, 'Thank goodness I don't need to eat. One of the perks of being dead.'

The ghost seemed to notice this, visibly curious. She keeps quiet about it, but while she does, she keeps a lit flame with her to keep the air cool - as the presence of a ghost usually brings cold. It's but a superstition, but it turns out she's full of ironic and/or convenient qualities. Bring cold? Make fire.

The man grabs a small morsel of food from a table and lifts his mask a slight bit, many scars on his chin and neck are seen, as he eats it and puts his mask back.

"Alright, let's continue," Susan said, before taking the recruits out of the cafeteria. Eventually, they are taken to another room. "This is our laboratory and experimentation chamber," Susan said. One side of the room has many vials, syringes, and other science-y stuff, while the other side has robotic equipment.

Well, what do you know! The ghost saw that too. She promptly covers her mouth like 'what the hell', as in, shock/concern. It's hard to tell which it is. Of course, when the team went to the laboratory, she seemed... confused. She can recognise the robotic stuff, obviously, but she seemed stumped on all the science stuff. As such, she was kind of looking around like 'what's this?'

The mans eyes remain cold and numb at the equipment, but he still analyzed all of it. He looks at Kqidons with a look of slight annoyance, but remains neutral, his eyes lingered on the robotics a little longer than anything else as well.

the neten and the girl nodded in agreement about the lab, before starting on a rant with each other, about... the use of shielding? weird.

"Ma'arz Gelonz," Susan said to the Martian. "Yessss...?" Ma'arz responded, curious. "Due to your excellent grades in the academy's final test, I'm assigning you as Chief Scientist here." Susan continues. Ma'arz now looks really flattered.

"OK, but... What does that mean for the rest of us? I assume we'll be situated somewhere, too?" The ghost asked in a curious yet worried tone.

For Solus, this was nothing new. It was standard procedure for subordinates to address their commanding officer by their rank. As he walked with the rest of the group, he wasn't surprised by their actions. Most people could be shaped into functioning members of a crew. No matter how badly disciplined they were. Solus was neither optimistic or pessimistic about his group.
As they were introduced to the different areas of the ships, he mentally mapped their position. Most ships were the same, but different models had a slightly different layout. When you're in a fight, you don't want to lose track of where the areas were.
Captain Susan was one of the 'harder' commanding officer. As, some take a personal approach, some take a professional approach, and others, like Captain Susan, took a hardliner approach. He suspected that she had to fight her way to the top, and had to fight to stay noticed. This was something that he could appreciate.
As he walked, he stayed by the left edge of the front of the group. Close enough to hear, far enough from being targeted.

"Come, my other recruits," Susan ordered to the others. When Ma'arz tries to come along, Susan stops him. "You stay. This is your workplace." Susan said to the new Martian science chief. Ma'arz looked surprised, but at the same time, is perfectly willing to go along with the order. "I will not disappoint you, Captain," Ma'arz said before going to the more scientific and experimenting section of the lab.

Susan then leads them out of the lab and takes them to another area. "This is the Flagship Security barracks," Susan said. The room was again streamline and organized, but there were a hall bunk beds, with tall cabinets on each side, seemingly designed to hold weaponry. Briefly, the recruits see the Human soldiers having friendly chat and conversations. However, when the captain spoke, the soldiers stop what they were doing, went in front of the bunk beds, and saluted. "ATTENTION!" All of the soldiers screamed.

The ghost seemed a little startled by the sudden culmination of all the soldiers standing to attention, but laughed a bit. "Geez. Think they have 'really' good hearing."

The masked and cloaked man whose name is still unknown to the other recruits seems interested in the security barracks. He looks around, taking more care than the other rooms to memorize the rooms. He nods once, and looks at the Captain.

"Best hearing, best reaction time, best combat training, best grades at the academy..." Susan nonchalantly responded to the ghost. "I made sure to tell the Alliance that I want only the best Human soldiers. While I'm talking to you, what is your name? I never got to read your file."

The man pays attention to this conversation that is taking place next to him, as he never caught her name either. And he wants to have info on everyone around him.

"Oh, my name? It's Kokoro, Captain." Kokoro smiled, happy to respond to said request. If anything, she's relieved she's not just some dead person without a name to the others. But hey, take it what you will.

Susan nods, acknowledging Kokoro's name. "Nice to meet you, Kokoro," Susan responds. She then turns her attention to the cloaked man. "And yours?" She asked.

Kokoro kept her eyes on what's around, happy to know the name of her potential first friend. She's still a bit bewildered at how this all comes together. She has a lot to learn, except she does not at the same time. For now, she remained silent and stayed with the group as much as she could - as instructed, really.

"Lux, Kokoro, Kqidons." She said, to catch the attention of the trio, which does. "I'm assigning you three as commanders of the security soldiers. Kqidons, you'll be the chief commander." Kqidons makes a smug smile as if she expected she'll receive the rank she is assigned to. "By the honorary rules of the Kara-topaka, I will promise you won't regret the decision you've made." The Vagrok recruit said, engaging the blade of the contrivance on her forearm.
