Colosseum 1v1 Spar (Gryphtaur vs Sayaka)

(Sorry 'bout the delay. Work's been crazy this week.)

The bullets that didn't strike Tharraleos punctured the ground around him as he moved forward. The ones that were successful in striking their target would find themselves bouncing off the gauntlets. They werr held in front of the beast in a protective fashion like he was a professional boxer. Shards of the construct chipped away with each hit, though it still held firm. Alter was taking too long to reach the ground, so Tharr retorted by bounding upwards and towards the gunslinger with the Superior Cestus ready to pummel him into oblivion.

Alter's dual pistols morphed into their sword forms, which he used to block the creature's attacks, which would push him further away if the impact from the creature's hit was strong enough. This would enable Alter to descend further downwards, and in doing so, he created another bow as his blades vanished. The Lance from earlier, Cadbolg II, materialized as he then let the makeshift arrow loose towards the creature.

The force of Tharr's blow was indeed great and even blocking in would likely leave one's extremities throbbing from the impact. As Alter sailed downwards, so too did the Seagriff, although with much more force as he used his wings to propel himself downwards. Both warriors would touch down almost in tandem. The left Cestus would collide with the ground first, shattering the construct but not without first sending considerable kinetic energy through the earth.

As the purple energy shards burst like shrapnel, the area around them would begin to tremble violently for a few moments. This occured right as Alter would take aim, so perhaps his shot would miss its mark as the ground shifted about under his feet. Landing in a somewhat crouched position with his empty paw on the terrain, Tharr would remain as such with eyes keenly fixed on his foe. If his plan to cause imbalance failed, he'd have to face the spear head on with either his remaining construct, or by dispensing the last one in his stockpile.

Alter felt the ground shake, but it wasn't something uncommon for a Magus Killer to experience, especially since he was in similar situations. Alter kept his footing on the ground focusing on the creature as he let the arrow loose.

Tharraleos growled in irritation at the man's continued resourcefulness. He watched and quickly determined he'd have no other choice but to brace himself as much as possible. Holding the gauntlet in front of him with his empty paw in front of it, he hunkered down and used his last reserve to form the Aspis once more. Even with these 2, they both burst like shrapnel from the impact, sending the mighty beast flying backwards numerous yards with his back parallel to the ground. But much like a feline, right before his spine painfully met the terrain, his legs kicked backwards and he instead landed on all fours as he slid further back. His arms pulsed agonizingly and the force may very well broken something. As he came to a halt a good distance away, he remained in this four point reference. Inside his chest his most delicate organ pounded almost uncontrollably. Heavy breaths loudly escaped his open maw and sweat even began to trickle down his plumaged face. On the surface level, it seemed the battle was merely wearing on the proud warrior.

A horrendous, bone crunching sound suddenly filled the air as it seemed the Griffin was increasing in size before being drowned out by his appropriate reactions. His coat began to darken and lenghten somewhat. His beak morhped into something reminiscent of feline chompers and feathered horns sproted from the top corners of his head. The blacks of his puipils nearly encompassed the entirety of his eyes and after about half a minute, the Aerasginero Alter fought just moments ago was now an entirely different opponent. With a quadruped posture, he stood a towering 15 feet tall at the shoulders. Opening his maw into their four seperate sections, the roar he emitted could be heard from perhaps miles away. Now in his unrestrained ferocity, rational throught was no longer a concept and pure carnage was all he desired. Even the Pride essence within was no longer an influence and this was pure animalistic fury.

"Hmph." Alter let out, lowering his bow as he looked at the creature who was at its appearantly last breaths. "It seems you are finished." He summoned Kanshou in his left hand. "It seems you need to be put out of your misery."

He took a few steps forward before the creature transformed. Alter was taken quite aback at how large his opponent was now was, and how beastly it looked. Alter would feel the pressure emanating from it. 'This feeling, is this an aura of a Calamity Beast?!' He thought.

Alter knew that if it killed him, this planet would have an enormous threat to deal with. He had to hit it with everything he had. He closed his eyes, uttering a chant.

"I am the bone of my sword...."

The titan would burst forward in a blind rage, no longer seeing the man as a worthy opponent, but merely an object that must be destroyed. The ground would quake under his nowmetric ton of weight as he charged forth with an expansive stride. There didn't seem to be any intent behind his movements other than getting within mauling distance. His acceleration was a far cry from what it was before, but the deceptive speed would return once enough was gathered.

To assume intelligence was lost would a grave mistake in judgment. Sure his methodical calculation prowess had been reduced to nothing, it was in a sense replaced by potent animalistic cunning grounded purely in survival and violence. The way his beak twisted into a vile grin and his crazed visage would only be a hint of his thirst for bloodshed.

Alter would roll to the side, leaping up to get some air and distance from the beast.
"Steel is my body, Fire is my blood..."

Alter's mind was picturing Gears rotating continuously in the sky. He needed to project the image before the beast interrupted his summon.

Alter was indeed successful in avoiding the beserk Griffin's claws, though he'd quickly find he wasn't entirely in the clear. His oversized tail, which in total nearly rivaled the length of his body that already doubled his height. The soft flight feathers had now attained razor sharp edges and were flared out in the shape of a semi circle. It lashed towards the man almost like the whip he wielded before, the sheer momentum of such coupled with the cutting power of his recticries would cleave through whatever was in its way with relative ease. With his head turned and deranged visage staring down his prey, Tharraleos seemed to anticipate the potential bloodshed.

"Rho Aias!" Alter yelled, putting a hand up as the violet Barrier appeared once more, catching the tail and being knocked further away. Alter himself took no damage, but his barrier shattered. "I have created over a thousand blades, Unknown to death, nor to life......" Alter continued, maintaining his image, as he ran back swiftly, aiming to finish projecting before the creature somehow managed a fatal blow to disrupt it.

"Having withstood unending pain to create many weapons, Yet, these hands never hold anything...... "

The beserk Tharraleos seemed displeased no blood had been shed from either of them. His appendage had struck a blockade and the little morsel hadn't yet made an attempt to stab into him. With the quadruped's layered durability and innate sturdiness, it'd take a bit more effort than one would expect. His overly muscled legs sent him a few inches above the ground, his metric ton of weight sending a shockwave throughout the ground as he turned to face Alter. He'd root his stance and send out another ear shattering bellow with his four mamdibles flaring out.

Drool would flail from his maw as the air vibrated in front of him. The unrestrained Vardia would raise his right frontal limb and send it towards the man. While the speed of his movements was lessened from his biped form, this decrease was minor and left him rather quickfooted in spite of his swelled mass. This wasn't an evil being per say, just an animal operating purely on the lust for violence and combat. His sadistic grin would be consistent wether he was the one doing the impaling or not. Truly a dangerous threat nevertheless and it would only worsen over time.

Alter turned his body downwards, descending and narrowly evading the claw, yet, he grabbed the arm of the creature, positioning himself on the arm as he dashed forwards.

"So as I pray....." Spectral Silhouettes of weapons soon formed on the ground below Alter, the sky itself turning rust brown. "Unlimited Blade Works! "

The entire area soon changed to a desolate wasteland of nothing but swords. A world of no life. A world that Alter himself belongs in.

(So sorry for such a huge delay. I try and not go more than a week to respond, but my hours at work have picked up considerably since we rolled into the new season. This seems close to concluding and I'm determined to actually finish a fight.)

The sudden change in surroundings was enough to momentarily distract the feral monster. His narrow pupils scanned the area, his now primitive mind working to make sense of this. Without his propensity for chaos overtaking him for a few moments, he'd appear like a confused animal more than anything. But this tranquillity would only last a few moments as once again Tharraleos set his sights on the one who brought him here currently latched onto his arm. With an irritated growl, he lunged his jaws forth to take a hefty bit out of Alter.

(I noticed that right after I posted and tried to be slick by editing it before you noticed heheh. Don't even know where my brain goes sometimes)

Archer made several swords appear in front of him, and shot them into the Beasts mouth, aiming to tear up the insides, or at least stop its head for a brief moment, as he summoned another bow.

'One Cadbolg II won't be enough, ' he thought, as he projected two lances in a single hand, and pulled them back.
