Saiyans Have No Limits (OOC Discussion)

ChazGhost ChazGhost

Hey guys. Still here.

Work has not been kind. I'm gonna read and see what's going on in the IC and get a post up.

EDIT: We're in kind of an awkward situation since Nira's being an uppity know-it-all and wants to "protect" Lin from the Medical Staff and the syringe. So what do you guys want to do about it? Lin can't get out of Nira's grip given the power difference, but she's not going to calm down on her own either. Nira wants to protect Lin from the needle, so she'd be trying to fight the staff off which won't work.

So, anyone mind if I have the Chief of Security at the facility arrive and settle things down?

Actually I'd rather have Nira keep doing as she is, it'd work best for everyones best interest if Lin was sedated but, from a story perspective we should just go with the flow and let things play out the way they'd play out. One should never try to control the way a story progresses, then it no longer becomes natural.

Also, seems more or less so that this may die?

It is going that direction, yes.

Oh well.

Least I know I can try again some other time and maybe make more tweaks to the way things go, or at least define things more clearly. Reason being is that the reason I stopped posting, aside from work getting in my way, is I didn't enjoy Nira's "I can't be wrong" attitude. One of the reasons Nira was arguing with Nomiya so much was because Nira's player ignored the "stay in your niche" part of the first rule in the RP. Nira knew too much about things which were not her business or her job. And her clashing with Nomiya shouldn't have happened like that. Metagaming.

So more clearly defined rules and a few tweaks to the story concept and I'll probably try again another time. But yeah. I think this one's dead.

Well in Niras defense, that was just the way her character would have reacted. And you didn't state that any and all medical info would be centered around the medical corps until after the initial thing happened, and even so that just seems sort of... Strange. What if they don't have a medic with them? All Nira used was the basic medical knowledge anyone would know, it's like, why wouldn't she know even the basics of Medical Knowledge? And even at that, she didn't even use basic medical knowledge, she just used her own personal logic. I think you're taking Niras attitude a bit to personally, you should accept her attitude and use it to further the plot instead of getting pissed. I personally thought it would have made for good dynamic if they were constantly at each other's throats. But, this is just my opinion after all.
