"That's stupid, why would hunters be looking for- Oh" Melody says and she gets pale "That's why" she mumbles looking down, suddenly her cheerful mood is gone and replaced by sadness "You shouldn't protect me" she says "If anything Akatsuki and Aurora need to come back now" she says.

Akatsuki walks over and says "Now that that's settled, let's look around the store" he says putting an arm around Aurora "I don't sense anymore hunters nearby though, so it might be a while till they find the guy"
 
Aurora smiles and says “I agree.” Then walks with Akatsuki as they look around the store

Hanabusa wraps his arms around Melody and says “I told you I would protect you. Your right Akatsuki and Aurora should come back.” Then takes out his phone and calls Akatsuki

"Well if they're already in town trying to hide her presence won't work, call Akatsuki or Aurora and tell them to find out how many hunters are here exactly, if they wanted to finish the job then they'd have send two, not enough to protect an entire town, which is a two person job too".

Melody deflates at that, she knew she had some help escaping the attack, but there's no way that person survived as the wounds were fatal, yet something felt off "Wait Kaname, there's no way they could've known where I am without help from someone who does know I'm here" she says.

"Hey Aurora" Akatsuki says "Do you think that guy was talking about Melody?" he asks quietly and he spots the plushes "And there we go, you wanted those right?"
 
Aurora looks at Akatsuki and says “I think so. He said princess.” Then smiles and says “yes. But just one of them.”

Hanabusa nods and says “yes Lord Kaname.” Then dials Akatsuki’s number and says “come on pick up Akatsuki.”
 
Melody sighs "Well there's only one person who might know where to find me" she says "But he died bringing me to your house" she mumbles rubbing her arm "I think anyway".

Akatsuki sighs and answers his phone "What is it Hana?" he asks while walking around the store, he called back quickly, meaning Kaname must have been awake, which is good.
 
Aurora smiles and keeps walking with Akatsuki then says “I wonder why Hanabusa is calling.” Then looks at him and asks “why is Hanabusa calling?”

Hanabusa nods and says “you and your ‘girlfriend’ need to find out how many hunters are here exactly.” Then wraps his arms around Melody and says “please hurry and call back with information.”

"Sure will do" Akatsuki says "But I'll do it on my own, someone has to keep you guys company, besides, if Aurora goes back she won't be in danger as well" he explains.

Melody sighs "Guess I'm not allowed to go outside anymore" she mumbles, she was tired of running away, of hiding and she wasn't the weak little girl she was when she arrived at Hanabusa's house.
 
Aurora stays close to Akatsuki and says “I’m safer with you.” Then holds onto his hand

Hanabusa nods and says “ok. Your right, so she should stay with you.” Then hangs up the phone and hugs Melody then says “I’m sure we can think of something so your not stuck inside all the time.”
 
"I'm afraid that the only time she'll be able to go outside is to go to class and when we come back to the dorm" Kaname says "Aidou can you please alert the headmaster of the situation".

Melody sighs "I'm gonna grab a few books to keep me occupied then" she says, there's no way Kaname would let her out of his sights now, which annoyed her to no end already.

Akatsuki looks at Aurora "Please go back to the school, tell the headmaster and Lord Kaname" he says "I promise I'll be fine, but you have to go now. I'll take you shopping another time".
 
Aurora kisses Akatsuki’s cheek and says “will do. I will hold you to that.” Then runs out the store while staying aware

Hanabusa nods and says “yes Lord Kaname.” Then kisses Melody’s cheek and says “I will be right back.” Then runs down the stairs

"So you and Aido" Kaname says letting Melody in his room "Did it have something to do with fans bothering you, again?" he asks sitting on the couch.

Melody blushes "Maybe" she says sitting next to Kaname "But I still don't remember much from before living with him" she says looking down.

Akatsuki leaves the shop and jumps on a roof nearbt to check the hunters in the area "Damn they're quick" he mumbles, from his position he could already see three, among the someone who looks their leader "We're screwed" he mumble.
 
Aurora keeps running and hears something then stops and says “I can hear you. Show yourself.” Then brings out her fire ready to attack

Hanabusa runs out of the dorm and out of the gate, ignoring his fans then says “I have no time to talk.” Then keeps running to the academy

Melody sighs and looks outside "How did I get away? Is the big question right?" she asks, but she shakes her head "If I knew Kaname I'd tell you, one thing I do know, keep running and don't stop until you're save".

Akatsuki sees the hunters switching their target destination and he decides to see why "Oh boy" he mumbles seeing a shotgun like weapon aimed at Aurota, so he sends a text to Hanabusa saying it's a very large group of hunters before he jumps down "Are you an idiot? GO" he says "There are three shotguns aimed at you"
 
Aurora hears Akatsuki and starts running again after calming her fire and says "im going." then keeps on running, not looking back and pulls out her phone then dials a number and says "come on someone pick up."

Hanabusa checks his phone while running and says "not good." then makes his way to the academy and runs while looking for the headmaster's office

Akatsuki burns the three hunters before going back to check how many more there are and he stops near the leader of the group "We will attack tomorrow at dawn and I don't care how many we kill before getting to her".

Melody leans against Kaname and she sighs "I'm tired" she mumbles nearly falling asleep, she didn't sleep good and the nightmares seemed to be memories on her family being killed.
 
Aurora smiles and keeps running then thinks to herself “he’s protective of me.” Then blushes and almost runs into into the gate

Hanabusa finds the headmaster’s office and frantically knocks on the door and says “headmaster Cross, I need to talk to you its important.” Then looks around
 
Kaien sighs "Enter" he says, he wondered what could be so important, as if there weren't enough problems already, it was even more worrying that Kaname didn't come with the news himself.

Akatsuki heads back and he sees Aurora, having used his vampire speed "There's gonna be an attack tomorrow at dawn" he says "The leader is there, so there's a big chance that he brought everyone"
 
Aurora walks up to Akatsuki and says “we need to be prepared” Then lays her head on his chest and asks “I’m just wondering, why are you so protective of me?”

Hanabusa walks in and says “headmaster Cross, there is a very large group of hunters in town. They may be after a female pureblood.” Then sits down

"I see" Kaien says "I already spoke with a hunter about this, seems they've taken over their headquarters" he adds looking at Hanabusa "Did you know the hunters you're talking about killed the entire Knight family in one hour? Along with a lot more humans and vampires who were at the party" he says.

Akatsuki rubs the back of his head "I'm not protective of you, but if something were to happen to you I'd have a very angry Melody, if something happens to me, you only have to deal with Hana, who'd be very upset and sad" he says looking away.

Aurora smiles and says “your right but back there when you told me to go into the store and don’t look outside and just now. It felt like you were protecting me.” Then looks up at him

Hanabusa nods and says “yes, Melody told me.” Then looks at Kaien and asks “what do we do?”
 
"Melody didn't tell you everything" Kaien says "Sit down, you might wanna do that when I tell you what exactly happened the day her family was killed" he adds, Melody didn't remember everything due to a head injury she had gotten.

Akatsuki still doen't look at her "Okay I may be protecting you a little bit" he says "Come on, let's go, I may have a solution, but no one is going to like that".
 
Aurora keeps looking at Akatsuki and asks “why aren’t you looking at me?” Then pokes his chest

Hanabusa sits down and says “I’m ready to hear the whole story.” Then looks at Kaien and says “I want to be able to protect her.”

"No reason" Akatsuki says and he sighs, though he's blushing slightly "Also, why did you nearly run into the gate?"

"Very well. The Knight family traveled a lot, though their main mansion was in Australia, they took the humans who lived there in consideration and live peacefully alongside them" Kaien says "However the mayor of the town dislike them a lot, so he called the hunters to strike during a time everyone would be there, as the family was pretty large. They attacked during a party, the hunters killed everyone inside, eventually when the mayor came to see the damage he was shocked, as the hunters had promised to only go for the vampires, however a servant had taken the young princess and fled, the servant is said to have died when he brought her to your house, as that was the safest place he could think of, since your family are noble vampires and not purebloods, you know the rest, you found her in the forest and brought her home".
 
Aurora smiles and sees Akatsuki blush then says “your blushing.” Then blushes and says “I was distracted.”

Hanabusa nods and asks “is there a chance the servant could still be alive? Then looks at Kaien and asks “what if he was forced to tell them where she is?”

"If he or she is alive and nearby Melody would've noticed it" Kaien says "If you go back to the dorm you should send Kaname here. Also the only way the servant would tell them about her location is if she/he is being tortured" he adds.

"Am not" Akatsuki says and he stops at the headmaster's office door "But as I said. I have a plan, but no one's gonna like it" he says and knocks.
