FIREBRAND CONFEDERATION (Faction Wiki)
Firebrand Confederation is a small but growing resistance to the various warring factions that have been bringing instability to their homelands. Firebrand Confederation’s ranks are made up of soldiers and civilians from all over the world, united in the single cause of creating a stable and safe place in which to live. Not all of its members are soldiers - there are many doctors, scientists, engineers and other civilians who follow the ideals of the faction, some to an almost fanatical degree.

After the loss of their stronghold in Mexico they have reappeared in southern Herreran territory somewhere around Luxembourg.

Aceh - One month after victory

Contractors awaiting their journey home bask in the sunlight as nearly a million Sumatrans make their own journies North to be assigned land for their new homes. Children, with and without adult companions, run around trying to find weapons and trinkets left over from the combat to sell. Militias and Paramilitaries try to complete their final tasks before the government order to return to the main counties is issued.

Aceh, a region destroyed by the 2004 tsunami and formed by decades of in-fighting by Communist, fascist and Islamist groups, finally sees a form of peace with final Sumatran domination. Only time will tell as to how well it will work out but its known to everyone who has actually visited the region that the government truly does have a wish of good will towards the new county.

Black Company started as PMC back in the 70's, conducting several operations all across the world. However, at the end of Cold War their contracts started to run short, almost leading them to bankcrupcy and forcing them to stay low for about a decade.
The Company saw a sudden resurgence in the mid 2010's after the original owners sold the Company to group of unkown inviduals known as ''The Board of Directors''. Under their lead the organization started to slowly grow back to power. Yet, the damage was done and faction hada lot of work to do before finally becoming relevant again. In order to boost their funds and manpower, Black Company switched from PMC to more of a private mercenary unit.

A few hours ago, the Karaqi 5th Fleet was spotted in the Persian Gulf, heading north.


Not many hours after, the few Iraqi defenders stationed in and around Abadan was overwhelmed by Karaqi aircraft and rocket attacks, before an invasion fleet combined by air and ground entered Iraqi soil.




As most of the Iraqi army is up in the north, facing the brutal I.C.S. the road up to Abadan, Basra and Ahwaz was a cake walk with minimal casualties, however as the spearhead of the invasion moved on, the mechanized ground units were getting bogged down by rubble and makeshift barricades made by the few defenders and volunteers.

For ages, the tension in Chechnya has risen, dividing the population against one another. It continued to build until two major forces gained enough power to wage war on one another. The region continued to de-stabilize and plunge further into chaos. The capital once again became a battlegrounds. It raged on for four years with both sides locked in a stalemate. As an attempt to end the war with one swift assault, the OTPP (A radical left-wing political party) troops pushed into Grozny en mass. The pro-Russian governmental garrison was caught off-guard and fell after a fierce two weeks of fighting. With the loss of a majority of their forces, and the capital, the opposition conceded defeat.


Just three days later an election was held, resulting in Amanat Kadyr being the first leader of the new Chechen state.
President Kadyr has alligned himself with the OTPP, crediting the great victory to the party. Many enemies still remain, and order has yet to be completely restored to the region. For that reason, and with the fall of the previous administration, he has allocated the OTPP the task of bringing peace and law enforcement.

It wasn't long before the party embraced their new authority, taking to the streets to round up remaining enemies. Some soldiers, some employees of the last regime, and some speculated to simply be political opposition.

Meanwhile the surviving heroes of Grozny began forming a new army, trained and equipped with leftover armaments. More people by the day began volunteering to serve alongside their comrades who sacrificed so much for their new freedoms. With the full support of the people, it was bound to continue growing.

Estiaqua, officially the Republic of Estiaqua or Estiaquan Republic, is a sovereign state largely situated in the middle region of South America with a population 42,000,000 million people. With a long history of corruption that still terrorizes the nation to this day, crime is still at large. Multiple cartels operate in the country, dealing in firearms, narcotics and contraband.

The largest and most dangerous of the organisations being the Calama Cartel. Operating worldwide, it works together with a various amount of organisations ranging from the American crime families to the AWA extremists, to even the Herreran and Tchvonian mobs. Despite this, the government has worked non-stop to combat the everlasting threat. The Unidad Especial Anti Narcóticos Grupo (The Joint Anti Narcotics Task Force Group) was founded in the early 80s to combat the cartels and it still operates to this day.

Stateheads of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland were today received in Buckingham Palace to discuss a proposal regarding a mutual future. Official spokesmen have remained quiet on the topic and besides the visit, not much is known.

The Coalition of stateheads of Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland that were received by the Herreran government in Buckingham Palace in regards to a proposal have today spoken to their respective populations. The united governments, under Herreran and national pressure have decided in favour of joining the newly formed Herreran Empire as subject nations. Governing wise, the countries are expected to remain virtually the same; with Herrera taking England's place in the structure.

A Herreran vehicle convoy has finished up the last of their delivery of supplies to Firebrand's new main headquarters, an old decommissioned Cold War era bunker complex, located outside of Luxembourg City.

Shortly after the announcement by the coalition of stateheads, riots broke out in formerly occupied zones in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The military was deployed to protect government buildings and to prevent a further spread of rioting. Things have calmed down significantly since the first few days, however.

The National Defence Front, established in Kenya in 1977, is a paramilitary force made up of trained soldiers and advisers from abroad. Many stemming from KDF backgrounds. Backed by the Sumatran Military Party - It's officers and specialised units sent to the island of Lambak to undergo training phases and test their skills. Much of their manpower experiencing combat in the African continent. Known on the battlefield by many for a rather exotic look with aesthetics and equipment.

The sudden collapse and annexation of the United Provinces of Argent is still a big topic by most socio-political commentators and conspiracy theorists. The once emerging power and rebellious province had collapsed in less than a week and it was quickly annexed by Argentina. . The subject is still wildly debated, but both ex-officials of the UPA and current politicians of Argentina refuse to speak of the topic. It is known that some of the UPA leaders and several military loyalists refusing to integrate into the Argentine Army have seeked shelter in other nations. With few accepting them. However, Greater Sumatra, a nation that was allied with the South American power, not only accepted the requests of shelter from the various Provincial politicians, but also evacuated hundreds of army loyalists into the Island of Nihas.

In the afternoon, a helicopter carrying the ex-vice president of the UPA, Melissa Medeiros, and the ex-chancellor and son of ex-president Alejandro Usariaga, Marcelo Usariaga, arrived in Sumatra. They were welcomed by Catherine Lee, wife of Marcelo, who was on Sumatra at the time of the UPA's collapse. She quickly hugged her husband while the three walked away from the helicopter. Catherine: I'm so glad you are okay, where's your dad?
Marcelo was at loss of words. He didn't know anything about his fathers fate and was extremely worried for him.
Marcelo: I... I don't know Cathy... Melissa, what do we do?
Melissa: Now we wait Marcel, I already made a few important calls but we are at the mercy of the Sumatran goverment.
She looked at the two youths and tried to give them a reassuring smile.
Melissa: But don't worry, we are safe. I'll make sure of that.
While she was trying to give them some security, she didn't really know what was going to happen. She's not even sure if Sumatra will consider her request, but she had to try, she promised Alejandro that at the very least, she'll keep his son and wife safe from danger. After a few hours and reuniting with fellow refugees from the Provincial Army, Melissa and Marcelo were now waiting for the Sumatran pairlament to choose the fate of the UPA.

Marcelo: I'm still unable to get a word from dad, God damn it.
Melissa: I am sure he'll eventually talk to you again Marcelo, you need to calm down.
Marcelo: Calm down?! everything we worked for is GONE, Mel! everything! our foreign allies don't even want to look at our pleads!
Melissa rubbed her fingers against her eyes before speaking again.
Melissa: You think I'm not aware? You think I'm not devastated by this bullshit? We just got a stick so far up our ass. We got screwed from every single possible direction, our allies don't care about us, at least not now. But we can't just sit down and wait for the enemy to kick down our doors and shoot us in the head, we have to keep moving forward. And Sumatra is giving us this chance, they are actually willing to help us, that's what matters.
Marcelo looked down for a moment. He looked like he was on the verge of tears.
Melissa: ...your dad wants you to be safe, Marcelo, he wants you to not worry about him anymore. You and I know that he won't be coming here.
Marcelo almost breaks, but eventually he just nods.
Marcelo: I just want to tell him good bye.
There was a long silence between the two of them. As much as she disagreed with Alejandro on most things, she couldn't help but to admire him as a person and as a friend, seeing his son in this state was making her emotional, but she can't let her emotions take over now. Before she could try to comfort him, a soldier poked her in the shoulder and pointed at the TV, as the Sumatran Pairlament comes to a verdict.

"Following 3 days of debate and cooperation between the parties of the House, the Military Party, Conservative Party, Labour Party, Asian Representative Party and all other affiliated political groups have agreed on the UPA Inclusion Act of 2019. The island of Nihas has been chosen as the relocation area following the declaration of emergency powers earlier this week."
The soldiers in the room started to cheer, the Island of Nihas was granted to the Provincial people, they had officially become part of Sumatra. Melissa looked at the TV with a little smile on her face, she cleared a single tear from her eye before talking again.
Melissa: We are starting again Marcelo, the legacy of the UPA is not dying as long as we keep it alive now. Be strong my friend, for your dad.
Marcelo couldn't hold it anymore, he started to cry, hiding his face between both hands as Melissa tried to comfort him. But despite the despite his sadness, she knew that he'll move on for his fathers sake. She looked at the TV again. It was time to start again and give her people hope and pay the Sumatran government for their help, but despite her undeniable joy, the more she stared at the screen she started to realize there's something that wasn't right, whatever it is, she'll have to investigate

However, the news continued onwards.

"A statement is to be delivered immediately by the Minister of Defence, George Michaels. Over to you Cape."

"Critics and anyone concerned about the crisis's effects on the rest of the country, you may rest as we can assure that the remmants UPA will not be left to their own devices and have any kind of overt power over Sumatran politics. The chosen island is Nias, the most effective saturation area that has the space to take such a large amount of refugees and their armed element. Their only company for the remaining years until they are assimilated will be licenced Paramilitaries and any Army elements that may be involved in projects in deployments."

"Mr Michaels, is there any information regarding the armies position on the vote?"

"The military and the party stand unified on our original position - the armed and trained members of the UPA military and anyone related to it will be forced without discussion into an Argent Division after planning has finished in the next week. No armed element that has arrived in Sumatra will remain without military investigation, scrutiny or independent action before licencing or assimilation into the Military. That is all, thank you.""



The exuberant cheering was quickly stopped as the remnants of the UPA listened to the Minister of Defense. Each and every single one of the soldiers that had come from Argentina looked at each other confused, they started to whisper to each other, asking what was going on, with those that didn't speak English asking those who understood the language. Marcelos crying stopped as he looked at the screen in a utter disbelief. Melissa, on the other hand, simply stared at the screen, seemingly unfazed by these news, or at least that's what she tried to show to the others, in reality, she wanted to scream in anger, but that'd be useless.

Marcelo: w...what are... what are we going to do?

The soldiers looked at Melissa, like they were lost children looking at the only adult in the room, Melissa didn't answer. She simply got up and walked out of the room, leaving a group of confused and angry soldiers asking Marcelo for answers, who was as confused as they are. A soldier followed the vice-president as she made her way through the hall.
Corporal: Uh... President Medeiros.
Melissa stopped and looked at the young soldier.
Corporal: General Sanchez is here, he just arrived and wants to talk with yo-
From the end of the hallway, a casual provincial soldier walked alongside other casual looking soldiers, the man looked at Melissa with a big smile and saluted her alongside the soldiers behind her. She simply looked at him and his men a bit surprised.
Melissa: Can I help you sir?
Sanchez: I'm General Sanchez ma'am, been stationed here in Sumatra since we fought them muzzies from Aceh, just recieved the news we'll be staying in Nihas, fantastic place!
Melissa eyed the man from top to bottom. He spoke with a thick Argentine accent and judging by his hand gestures and mannerisms, the man was clearly from Buenos Aires. Normally she'd speak with respect to a high ranking member of the provincial army, but right now she was tired and angry, before she could speak again, they were joined by Marcelo, Catherine and some of the troops that were in Argentina, most of them with a look of anger on their faces.
Marcelo: Melissa, we need to do something! They can't just shove us into that island expecting us to eat shit, most of the men here don't want to serve the Sumatran government, there's gotta be a way to make the island an autonomous region, something!
Most of the soldiers behind him were nodding and agreeing with Marcelos words. The tired vice-president didn't know what to respond, she was not happy with the veredict of the Pairlament nor what George Michaels said, but what else could she do in this situation? These men needed a leader to rely on and she couldn't even think of a reassuring sentence. As the men continue to surround the vice president, the General Sanchez stepped between her and the men.
Sanchez: I need all of you men to calm down, I'm sure the vice-president here tried her best. I know many of you were used to the comforts of Provincial bases but our situation is not as fucked as you might think. Me and my men have been stationed here for a while and I promise you, that if you listen to the vice-president and me, things will be fine.
A panicking and nerveous Marcelo looked at the general with utter disbelief. How can this man say that when they are being given an island they'd have to share with mercenaries and paramilitaries. Marcelo: You are asking us to shut up and not do anything? We just got fucked in the ass and tossed aside.
Sanchez: No, sir, you are just angry at nothing. If I was in the place of Sumatran authorities I'd do the same, Hell. Your father did almost the same thing back in Turkey.
Melissa: Marcelo... I want you to listen to me and I want you to pay attention, okay? All of you! I want you to stop whispering like little children in a classroom and listen to me.
Despite being tired and fed-up with their situation, hearing the general give another point of veiw on their situation was rather important for the vice-president. She started to think of the possibilities, securing better relations with the Sumatran government and the paramilitaries on the island could mean that. Eventually. After some carefully planned time. She could make the island of Nihas a better place not only for her and Alejandros family, but for her own men and their families.
Melissa: I know some of you expected something else, like having our own autonomous island like we were once promised after Aceh, but the truth is that was naive thinking. Our homeland is gone, we lost everything, we are landless people now at the mercy of the only nation in the world that is willing to have us. We are not welcome in the silver shorelines of Buenos Aires... that's why I need all of you to realize that we have no choice but to follow their demands. Does this mean we have to give away our dignity? Of course not! We are provincials, we forgive but we never forget!
She looked at the General and gave him a respectful nod.
Melissa: I need all of you to trust me and trust the general here. We have a chance of starting again as part of Sumatra, because, while I know some of you hate this verdict, they at least gave us a chance, and we have to take it!


While most of the soldiers listened quietly and nodded at the words of Melissa, there was still a considerable amount of disgruntled men. The general stepped forward and started to shout orders. Sanchez: I want all of you to be ready for tomorrow, we'll be taken to Nihas tomorrow at 06:00 AM by Sumatran forces. I want all of you to treat them with respect. Once in the Island, we will head to our designated region. Now, rest and if you can, get in contact with your families men, we are starting over.
Sanchez then looked at Melissa with a friendly smile.
Sanchez: Hope you are ready for tomorrow ma'am, Nihas is rough but we will manage.
Melissa: I hope so, Sanchez. I hope so.

As Sanchez's troops begin their march to Nihas, they stroll past militamen and paramilitaries displaying an unusual amount of activity.



The activity, whilst a mystery to the Argents, is because of the recent major increase in military activity. Government affiliated, private and public armed groups have all begun mobilizing for various reasons and recent conflicts.

Paramilitaries occupy an Indonesian construction site on the disputed border, it having been abandoned earlier this week.



A county conscript during an escort of an armoured milita has a nice cup of tea and a chat with some locals. Armoured militas have to be escorted through the country to assure nothing powerful falls into the wrong hands or gets stuck in the wrong place. One tank too many has been lost to mud or road incidents.

June 26th, Corbyn Royal Air Force Base, Herreran Empire
A large amount of Herreran troops today departed their homeland in C-17 Globemasters. Troops were allowed to say their goodbyes before heading for departure. The Department of Defence has commented on the matter by stating it is related to "A large scale military exercise between military partners to improve co-operation and garner military experience in the various different environments and climates of the Indian and Atlantic Ocean's various countries." Members of the Firebrand Confederation were also spotted departing the airbase shortly after the departure of the Herreran troops.

Military activity has been spotted in Karalaičius, soldiers from Mechanised brigade are boarding buses on their way to the nearest military airbase and are most likely to be deployed abroad. Samogitian defence ministry denies any comments about another upcoming conflict, but are commenting with following "We are sending our troops abroad in order to help our ally to keep peace and stability in newly gained territories".

A Tchvonian People's Navy UDT team makes its way through the protective netting of the Cam Ranh Naval Base in order to reach their objective: Vietnam's submarine fleet.

After having made it through the net, the team makes their way to the docked submarines inside. Their goal is to plant explosives on vital areas of the subs in order to cause maximum damage.

President Veselova gives a speech for the newly commissioned Mikhail Veselov-class aircraft carrier, rightfully named the TPNSS Mikhail Veselov after the former fallen first president of Tchvonia. It will be making its way with TPN CTF5 to the Indian Ocean to group up with allied naval forces.

The first landers of the TPN Marines made their way onto the Cam Ranh oceanfront, establishing a beachhead while the navy either bombards the city with offshore artillery, cruise missiles, or carrier aircraft. The fight is now on but resistance is heavy due to the direct contact with a naval base and populace center.

Progress has been slow and by the evening, the TPN Marines only made it past their original position and are just now touching down on the beaches of Cam Ranh city. Fighting intensifies as do the naval strikes.

TPN Marines make their landfall with next to no resistance, having landed straight into a beach resort. The only trouble they run into is a pesky news helicopter which was quickly shooed away by anti-aircraft vehicles. The landing goes with only minor inconvenience, one T-80 breaking down after snorkels failed.

TPN Marines have formed a beachhead at the various resorts they landed on in the early morning, and now send mechanized infantry out to secure their objective: Three bridges that will prove vital for once Vietnam has allied supply lines running up and down the country.

As expected once they reached their objective, the TPN Marine mechanized infantry companies come under attack by Vietnamese forces. The Vietnamese begun evacuating from Cam Ranh traveling north through Quang Ngai and now find their way of retreat to be the center of further fighting. For now the TPN Marines are kept from reaching their objectives by a few hundred meters as fighting intensified.
