Suggestion Fullscreen theater mode for long posts

I just had the natural urge to click on this lengthy post and when I realized I couldn't I figured I'd give the suggestion a shot:

A little icon in the bottom of posts that, when you click it, darkens the foreground and brings the post to the foremost of the screen hiding the floating RPNATION bar at the top and any other "distracting" elements. I have bad eyesight and I think this would make things easier to read.

That might be useful for those on mobile to read code posts as well. I always have trouble reading posts in bbc or coded templates on my phone.

Android's have this if you're using the Google App luckily! You can simply turn on 'reading mode', which removes all code and html on an extra tab, giving you the raw text!

For Apple users, idfk. Sounds pretty cool though.

Kind of. You can enter fullscreen browser mode which slightly increases visibility but the rpnation float-bar at the top is still kind of intrusive. Plus the dim background would make things even easier to read.

I like having a bit of html too so that I can have my dark themes because I'm a night owl

Dark themes are a must. I do most of my posting at night, so it is a nice feature. I think AliceNWeb might be on to something with this theater mode. It seems like it would be a nice feature when I want to really focus on the post.
