Alita Lawrence

Alita glanced to the sides carefully. All the corners of the class were quiet to Officer Angel's question. She had literally just sat again from embarassing herself in front of the students, she really shouldn't be exposing herself again like that... But would Princess Purple worry about embarassment before doing what has to be done? Absolutely not! Alita furrowed her brow a bit, running through the question and her answer a couple times to make sure she had it right, then raised her hand and said:
"Because what makes a hero isn't on their quirk." It sounded like a pretty solid statement, so it had to be right. "Also, I'm afraid I'm american, Mr. Angel. Born in LA, raised... Well, everywhere." Listing the cities she's been through would take the rest of the class and no one would really appreciate it; Alita was sure if it, she had tried doing it before.

"Hm it seems you have been to a lot of different cities. Also, correct a hero isn't defined by there quirk it's how they act rather than who they are. Policemen, for example, we can't turn is skin to stone we can't fire projectiles when we do a drug sting operation we could either die from gunfire or worse get knocked out and taken hostage. Why do we do it because we want to make the street safer for you? Yes, I know a hero could come and do the same thing with 10 fewer men and knock them all out. But while the heroes take care of the villains we make sure the city is evacuated. Superman is a perfect example of this. The reason why he is my favourite comic book hero as a kid is because peter parker was already peter parker. that was his secret identity as Spiderman. Bruce Wayne was already Bruce Wayne so that is his secret identity when he became Batman. Superman is different. He was already Superman so he decided to instead become human as his secret identity become one of us. Learnt our culture speak our language. So Alita wasn't it When your in a different city try and integrate yourself in that city's culture. Any hero should. If your going to be a hero in a city. You should embrace that city make it your own."

He then passed a phot to Alita showing what seemed to be a small village of sorts. It is a picture of him in his younger years with a podgy looking man next to him "That was my old partner Danny before I moved here. We were in Sanford and it was essentially our city. it was a small village but we liked it there."

Ryder sat in his chair with his sleeves covering his hands slightly, the boy watched the others interact easily with each other. He wished he was confident enough to talk with them... or likeable enough for them to talk to him. Normally he would've been more chatty, but the tension from Jason and Harvey, combined with the fact that he didn't know anyone made him want to curl up back in his dorm with Churro. Ryder gazed around the room to find one person who he could talk to, his eyes landed on B, who seemed to be the one who tolerated Ryder the most. Ryder scooted over in his char so that he was next to B, "H-Hi, I'm Ryder Kuroshiro." Ryder started to say, then he realized that B had already herd that from his introduction, "B-But you already knew that.... sorry for bothering you."

Ryder mentally dropped his head and wanted to whimper at his failed attempt at making a friend. He started to scoot his chair back towards his desk so he could lay his head down on it and wallow in his own self pity.

Alita was already rather concentrated at Angel before, but she completely forgot the rest of the world existed when Angel began referrencing superheroes. She widened her eyes and leaned forward, nodding decisively and taking notes at his every phrase. She took his photo and gave it a good look, smiling as she imagined what sort of thrilling adventures Officer Angel and his partner must have had patrolling their village.
"I'll keep that in mind, officer!" She said. "I can't wait to visit all kinds of different countries and cities when I become a hero, actually! Do you think they'll look at me like they look at Superman? Or Captain Marvel? Or Prin-" She stopped midway through her phrase. Princess Purple wasn't that famous of a superhero and she was suddenly afraid it would stray the conversation from the topic. She quickly returned back to a more normal level of excitment and added: "I like the picture. Should I pass it along the other students?"

B Storm

B watched in a mixture of restlessness and confusion as Ryder replied to himself and dragged his chair forward, an aura of hopelessness forming around him. B hadn't faced such levels of negativity in a while and it took him off guard. He watched Ryder a moment more, then turned back towards Angel and his speech. He was hearing the officer speak, but listening nothing, with an elbow set upon the desk and pressed up his cheek. Every few seconds, he glanced at Ryder again, then back at the teacher. C'mon, think of something to say... And make it sound nice while you're at it.

After being ignored by Yuudai, B turned his attention back towards Cam. He heard the joke, then saw the cane and chuckled for about a second or two before finally connecting the dots, with a faint gasp followed by an embarrassed silence. The young boy made his way to his bed, dropped his bags there and then headed out to the door again, saying:

“I’m B Storm and I’ve gotta go. I’ve scheduled some, um…” He paused a moment and added: “Extracurricular… Training… Thing. See you two later.” He finished, closing the door behind him.

Alone again, B looked toward the hallways with a determined expression. The test was tomorrow, so that night I’d be sink or swim for his hero career; he was ready to stay up all night, if needed be.

Alita’s gaze went a bit distant again as she took in all that information on Boazuda’s family and past and tried to picture how’d that been like. She couldn’t help but see her mother as this shining goddess version of Andressa who travelled across the world, beating up baddies and driving away the evil poachers from the cute wildlife. And of course, all with her dad close by, the intrepid researcher who followed her everywhere on her adventures! It all sounded like something straight out of an adventure novel.

The young student snapped back into reality as the question was returned to her. She grabbed her cellphone and started to scroll through the other pictures in it, all of them with a similar pattern; Alita and her mom standing apart from each other and in front of a popular picture spot. As she went through them, she said:

Well, this is us at the Hollywood Hall of Fame, on California’s Sequoia National Park (can you believe the size of those trees? I still can’t), On the House on the Rock, in the Detroit institute of Arts and at Washington DC. My mom’s a comic book writer, you see. Looks like you don’t know Princess Purple, but… “ Alita suddenly raised her voice and said energetically: “You really should! She’s amazing! She’s a DC character, and my mom made her.”

After that, her next lines got gradually softer up until they were barely more than a whisper: “Mom likes travelling to meet all kinds of different places and use them as inspiration for the next issue. For the longest time, it was just me, her and a car going just about everywhere. It sure was… Something.” Alita took a brief pause and finally returned to a normal, friendly tone: “I really should get going now, I still need to move my things. But it was great meeting you, Boazuda! I’ll see you again soon.”

Steven begun to look around in this elevator. going down into the swers. He wondered why the school has this in the first place. Sure they were going to train them but why would they train them underground. Wouldn't htey have a field or something to train them in. Once the elevator came to a stop he smelt something awful. He was in what seems to be a swer line or what smelt like it anyway. He then stepped outside and tried to be optomistic. He took na deep breath and said "Smell that guys that is hte smell of being a super hero. I guess..." He continued to walk towards the center of the area waiting for the other to arrive and listen to what needed to be said.

ONce the others arrived he just stood there and waited until one of the teachers began to speak.

In the apartment Egon, her mother, and her aunt live in, there was a knock on the door. "Egon baby, can you get that? I am making lunch with Aunt Lydia!" her mother called as Egon sprinted to the door. "MY PACKAGE IS HERE!" She exclaimed as she opened the door rapidly. Who she saw was not the mailman, but Metal Jacket himself. "M... M... M..." She stopped and pointed at him with a shakey hand. "METAL JACKET?! HERE?!" "THIS IS A DREAM RIGHT?! THIS HAS TO BE A CRUEL DREAM!" Her mind was all over the place as she looked at him nervously, and somewhat regained her composure. "S... Sorry about that... I wasn't expecting to see you here... in front of me... at my door..." She said awkwardly as she motioned for him to go in. "Would you like to come in? Mom is making lunch with my aunt right now..." Despite being in the most casual of the situations, the old vet never seemed to give up the green; he wore a green shirt and black pants. He seemed to be in a better mood than usual as well, or at least as much as that grizzled, hardened face could be. Once Egon invited him in, he walked pass the door and took a look around the place.

“A humble place. Making it work with what you can.” He finally said, taking a seat in the sofa without asking for permission. “I’ll go straight to the point, young lady. I’ve read your application for my school, and I’ve seen footage of you facing that darned villain last week. There’s guts in you that I haven’t seen in war-tested special forces squads. So I’d like to hear it out of your own mouth, kiddo. Why is it that you decided to become a hero?”

As Egon pulled a chair for Metal Jacket to sit in, she then began to sweat, and blushes. She then sat down, and took a deep breath. "Well sir... The reason I want to become a hero, is because I... I..." She paused before wiping a tear from her face. "I was always told that I would never be a hero. That people would be scared of me because of my quirk... That I would never get to hear the cheer of the citizens... All that jazz. My father told me these things. And growing up... People were scared of me..." Her mother came in and set a plate of Grilled Cheese and a side of homemade potato chips, with some lemonade. She looked over at Metal Jacket, with a sort of sullen look. "I'm very sorry sir... It's very hard for her to even open up like this." She said as Egon looked at her, and she nodded in understanding. "But... You were there. You gave me the inspiration I needed. You helped me through my toughest times, sir. Because you helped me see the potential in myself, through your documentaries, your speeches, even your books... I want to be a hero not because of the lights and the money. But for the fact that I could do the same for some little boy or girl, and inspire them to become heroes too, like you did with me."

Egon took a bite of her sandwich as Eve served Metal Jacket a Grilled Cheese Sandwich with chips. "I am and always be your #1 fan. You were my role model ever since I was a kid. I wanted to be like you when I grow up..." She took a deep breath, to regain her composure. CapRock CapRock

John Osterman, From MK1 to MK3 Prometheus

Pair Antique Candlesticks Brass Candle Holders Push Bronze Indian Vintage Cast.jpeg-1-1.jpgPicture_20190828_145338716.jpg

Delicately, John moved from the splayed open MK1 suit to the "pod" a miniature one he'd interface with. Unlike the MK1 that'd been cobbled around the boy piece by piece, the pod was a spherical inner shell that would plug into new battlesuits, serving as a core/command center. It'd be a one size fit all key to each new design, giving John production line uniformity that could be built around over and over again to cover any conceivable situation. It wasnt easy though, moving from the merged MK1. It was a painful ordeal, done at home John's family watching in horror with the doctor on speed dial, for each piece of machinery linked to the teen like branches to a tree and with severances came pain like pulling old splinters. It wasn't fun, interesting nor quick, taking an hour of sharp pangs to complete the disconnect, but despite difficulties John merged to the pod successfully
With that out of the way, the shift to "MK3, Prometheus" was simple as plugging into an outlet.

The MK3

Picture_20190828_145338716.jpg

A top heavy 7'0" battlesuit designed for hard hitting offense and strong defense, designed by John Osterman over the years. Recently rushed through to completion after the attack on the student body. Reason given by John "I have to be stronger if we're targets, not only for me but the others too! I need to protect them!" The current time in the main RP will be the first time his new suit is shown.

Features
  • Piston drives on limb ends for high power/speed movements without big windups.
  • Vehicular modification. Laying on stomach, John extends arms straight forward + Legs straight backwards, he then locks them all in place. Wheels emerge from his forearms as well as thighs creating a miniature car that can be ridden by 2-3 people depending on sizes. His shins interlock and can be used as a tow hitch.
  • Steel mesh net shooter for capture.
  • Smoke grenades.
  • The ability to sell lots of toys
  • Thermal/Night/Magnified vision
  • Radio + Cell connection
  • A Bose stereo set on his chest for maximum party vibes
  • A metal club that he can withdraw from a compartment in his back
  • A limited "Turbo mode" where fuel reserves are burned to increase functionality for a short while. This grants very high physical prowess but one use will burn through his fuel reserves.
Despite all these dope ass features, because the production was rushed there are some bugs that are sure to crop up. Bear with the lad he's learning.

The former pro hero went dead serious as Egon began talking, stopping only to glance at Eve and take a bite out of his grilled cheese. It was everything he was expecting to hear and then some. Once she finished, he swallowed the food and nodded solemnly before looking up her again.

“Listen here. Our city, no, our country is facing one of its toughest challenges yet. Our new enemies don’t have a nation like they used to, they barely even have a face, and they live among us, trying to tear this great nation from within. More than ever, we need people like you, old-fashioned heroes with the drive to put your hand out for the little one above all else. Ms. Blaz, I want to personally oversee your hero training. It’ll be hell, but you’ll come out of it as the best hero you could ever be. Can I count on you, soldier?” He said, then directed himself at Eve: “With the madam’s greenlight, of course.”

Location> Queens' general hospital, room corridors

Queens’ general hospital center was experiencing quite the busy week; victim from the collapse and the fights got the beds and staff completely full to heal back all the damage caused by falling debris and villain attacks. Amongst the bedridden and the overworked nurses, however, there was a girl that didn’t fit either; Alita had escaped her fight without any major injuries, yet she was pacing across the hospital room hallways with some shopping bags. Its many contents caved a significant hole in her humble savings, but she considered them money well spent.

The closest room in her visit schedule was that B boy; he got all nervous when she showed up and kept repeating ‘I’m good, it’s no big deal’ throughout the whole visit, which she found endlessly amusing and cute. The next visit, however, meant a lot more fir the girl. She took a deep breath before Annie’s room door then gave it the classic Shave and a Haircut knock, saying:

“Annie, it’s Alita! We fought together in the tunnels. Can I come in?”

Egon sat there, jaw agape in shock as she stared at Metal Jacket. She was stunned. She never thought that her Idol would ever say that he would personally oversee her training. Her dream to meet Metal Jacket came true, but then she was presented with an opportunity for him to help her train. She looks at Eve with tears in her eyes. Eve, who was also crying, nods and walks over to her, and smothers her in her rather.... "Voluptuous" bosom in a rather strong hug. "MY BABY'S GONNA BE A HERO!!" She cried as she then let go of Egon, with Lydia walking up to her. "She means yes. This is a big moment for them, so please do not mind the tears too much." The chameleon woman said as she put her hands on her sister's shoulders, and led her to the kitchen, where Eve composed herself.

"Then... Then it is settled. I promise to give it my all, sir! You can count on me to be the best hero the country - no, the WORLD has ever seen!" Egon exclaimed with pure joy as she wiped her tears, and the saluted her idol. "I won't let you down, Mr. Metal Jacket!" CapRock CapRock

Annie Toussaint

Guest appearance from Annie's sister, Tessa Toussaint.

f7c01b742feee67fd9f6551a765e6047.png

The monitor's double beep and hushed quiet gave dead air to the room, a medical vibe like nursing homes where people go to die. It was boring boring, dreary and never ending it seemed, a trash experience after the first day when Annie'd been kite high with the Toussaint cabal storming abound making a scene. That was a good run of it, even the bandage and blue girl could admit that much. Since then though it'd been slow company with a trickle of people... that and a lot less painkillers than before. How tragic for happy, painless and high as shit Annie to be replaced by grumpy, always in dull pain and mad to be alive Annie, it sucked massively. She wanted to take the nearest object and fling it at her sister, how dare Tessa exist next to her pain free despite the suffering! The only fair thing was for her sibling to join the agony.

"This sucks... I'm so bored" Tessa mutters from close bedside, tapping away at the iPhone in her hands, drawing a slow look of sister hate/love from the patchwork girl in the bed.

"Oh this sucks huh," Annie manages sarcastically, fighting against obstructive head & jaw bandaging to speak.

"Check this out" Tes continues in her valley girl drawl, and reaching phone over the woozy student she tilts the screen down at Annie's face, bringing a heavily liked IG post to view.

"Just showed up at my biggest fan's hospital room. She attempted a double backflip into a pool off a roof while on fire!!! and hit the pavement instead. #PrayersForAnnie #DarwinAward" it read, right below a picture of Annie, dead asleep with several objects balanced on her head.

The younger Toussaint wanted to be mad.... she wanted to get all flustered at her idiot "Social Influencer" sibling, but it was fucking hilarious and laughing like high idiots the two gasped for a minute in a rare repreif from the endless boredom.

*Knock knock*

“Annie, it’s Alita! We fought together in the tunnels. Can I come in?”

The pair hear from outside the room as the idiocy within dies, the last few choking and uncultured chuckles on the wind at last, but the trolling was far from over.

"Awwwwww, you made a fwend at school? 🥺" Tessa jabs in a wittle kid voice as she stands, tickling Annie's bandaged stomach like the anti older sister she 100% was.

"S-stop just answer the door! You idiot!" Ann complains, a red anger mark and vein popping across her forehead, her one free arm waving about.

"Jeez..."

"Fine..."

"I'll let your fwend in" Tessa answers, stone serious and sarcastic as she walks away from Annie and to the door.

"Alita? Good to meet you I'm Tessa, Annie's sister. She couldn't stop talking about you! If I remember right she said something like..." she begins after opening the door.

"If Alita wasn't there I would've died instantly!" she continues, slapping a palm with a fist, voice dropping an octave to a "serious tone" as she led Alita to where the younger sister lay fuming.

"Whatever she says..." Annie huffs.

"No matter what" Annie puffs.

"She's never serious" she goes with a relenting sigh, free hand brushing loose hair from her face.

"She can't be helped, can't fix stupid" Annie continues, raising steam from Tessa's skin and mischievous laughter from her own gut as the three settle into the new circle.

"You look great! Im glad you didn't end up in this place... I'm so jealous! And I can't believe your staff hit the guy in the head! I wish someone had that on camera!" exclaims the builder, sitting up in her bed with another laugh, remembering Octane's swollen head after being slapped upside by the stick. 11/10 comedy, to Annie's crude sense of humor anyway.

Finn Mackay
Perched on the edge of a infirmary bed Finn stretched a little then winced as the massive purple bruise tugged. In spite of his protests that he wasn't seriously hurt the medics that had showed up after the Deadly Sins retreat had insisted on examining him but had for the moment left him where they'd put him to tend to the more badly hurt students.

He was beginning to doze and thinking of lying back on the bed regardless of how much damage that would do to it when his ears pricked up at the sound of a commotion outside where the police were guarding the entrance to the ward. "Atalante! Please wait ma'am we can't just-" A sharp voice cut in over the guard's protesting.
"Officer my son is in there and I will be going in there to see him." Before the guard could get another word in the door burst open revealing a slender woman who looked like she had just stepped out of a fantasy movie in her padded cloth armour, ankle length cloak and bow and quiver slung across her back. "Mam?" Finn called out with a touch of embarrassment, in spite of the circumstances he still felt awkward at having his mother show up on his first day. "Finn! How bad is it? Let me see." Striding quickly over to the bedside Atalante left the guard in the dust, he briefly considered pressing the point but she clearly wasn't a random stranger to the boy and it wasn't like the famed Huntress Hero would cause any trouble.

Placing a comforting hand on her son's bare shoulder Cassandra gently examined his injuries. "Mam it's fine, he barely hit me at all." Finn protested and swiped at his eyes with his arm more out of emotion than pain. "Who did? Tell me everything." Sitting down on the bed next to Finn she listened with an introspective expression that darkened as he described picking up his injury. "Greed that bas-" She began to mutter then remembered she was meant to be setting an example here. "-that...bad man." Taking Finn's hand she twined their arms together in a gesture as close to a hug as they could manage. "You did an incredible job Finn, plenty of graduates wouldn't have done anywhere near as well as you did." Meeting her gaze Finn's lip trembled and not trusting himself to speak without breaking down he silently leaned against her as best he could until a doctor quickly to them he was free to go after confirming that his ribs weren't damaged and plastering over his small cuts.

🐝Jeremy🐝

It had been a day since the Villain attack. Since Jeremy had for the first time in his life, actually had to use his quirk. Since his life had been in danger, really in danger. Jeremy had been scared before, but never that scared. After the battle, after Jeremy was by the grace of God rescued from his mess, he'd had to sprint away from there. His bees were in a frenzy and as long as he stayed near civilians, accidents were risked. So he'd fled, all the way to the depths of central park. The only place he could be alone, the only place he'd ever felt safe letting his bees free to gather pollen. He'd been there dozens, if not hundreds of times. Maybe even thousands. All of those visits had been relaxing, times of peace and calm. But this time was different, now a murderer lurked in the shadow of every tree and bush, and for once Jeremy found comfort in the bees who didn't go to gather honey. With nothing but trees and bees to take his attention that night, Jeremy had done little else but think. Ruminate on the day's events, on the cause of his fear. After much thought, much warring with fear and anxiety, Jeremy found the root cause. Indeed, it landed on his little finger. One of his bees, their fur well stocked with pollen, crawled up it and disappeared into one of the many bee sized pores. Completely independent of Jeremy. Without Jeremy's word or will. Jeremy had stared at the little finger and quietly closed it's hand into a fist.

.The next day, after spending the night sleeping underneath his favorite tree, Jeremy had made his way back to the QHH dorms. He'd found a stray piece of paper and an untended pen. Borrowing both of them, Jeremy had scrabbled down a simple message and left it on a local bulletin board. I, Jeremy, am in need of a tutor. My close combat grades are lacking, and in need of improvement. If interested, please meet with me in the gym after today's classes are concluded. After that, Jeremy had left for the day's classes. He had checked the bulletin board during lunch, and to his surprise found his message gone. Evidently someone was willing to help. Jeremy had spent the day wondering who it was. It couldn't be Andressa, as she was still in the hospital. He should visit her soon, in fact he will after today's tutoring was complete. But for now Jeremy waited in the gym, sat upon the bleachers with his gangly legs bringing ancient sneakers down to rest two rows beneath him. His bees quietly buzzed, but they were in a restful mood. Giving them a chance to gather honey always lulled them to rest for a few days. Though the tutoring might rise them to frenzy, but his clothing was more then sturdy enough to stomach some angry bees. It was just a matter of waiting now, and waiting for his mysterious tutor to show up.

Rocky was not one to stay down for long, once he was looked over, and given the necessary treatment, Rocky laid in his bed, with nothing but a gown on. The staff had stripped his armor to even check for any bruising or swelling on his body. However, Rocky's hard armor always grew back within the span of 2 weeks, though not enough time if he were a pro, but right now he was a kid having survived a villain's attack. He thought back to when he fought Giullhermo, and sighed. "You are strong enough to put me here... not bad kid." He thought as a nurse had come in with a change of clothes. "Mr. Hardy, your grandmother had dropped off some clothes for you! Unfortunately, we had to throw-" "That's fine, nurse. It will grow back in half a month." Rocky said he labored a smile. "I am still hurting like a bitch, but not like when you brought me here..." He said as he sighed. "Just wish I knew if I even got into QHH or not... I really wanted to attend it... it's been a dream..." Rocky then looked at his fists, which were still producing slime, but it is a very small amount, and a very dim green. The nurse walks away and he then sat there, remembering what he had said to Guilhermo, and what he had said to Rocky. "That kid is just like me... Hurtin' and looking for love in the wrong places." he muttered as he watched the staff move patients back and forth through the halls. Something within him felt... empty. Like something was missing.

Beatirce Oogami

Kirei is in deep distress after the incident. Her daughter is under a coma, bandages wrapped all over her after dealing so much punishment from her villainous father. It was hard for a mother to bear. She is staying by her daughter's side, waiting for her to wake up. As she waited, someone came up to her. It was Ruby, the pro hero that saved Beatrice from near death. She has come with a basket of fruits in her hand. "Hey there, Miss Oogami." She greeted "How's your daughter?" Kirei looks down at her daughter for a moment before looking back at the red-skinned wrestler to say "She's still in a bad condition. I didn't know this could happen to her. If only I have arrived sooner then..." There was a hint of guilt in her voice. Ruby could feel the same. "I know, Miss Oogami. I too could have gotten there sooner." She says "But hey, at least she's still alive. She took quite a beating from that guy." Kirei sighs, looking up at the ceiling as she thinks about the incident. Ruby places the basket on one side of the bed and say "I got some fruits fresh from the market. Apples, bananas, mangoes, all of that fresh stuff. I'm pretty sure you're hungry from taking care of your daughter."

Kirei looks at Ruby before turning to the basket of fruits and then back to her. "Ruby, I could not thank you enough for your intervention." She says "Even in her state right now, I'm thankful that she is alive. That attack gave a severe blow to the school and I wonder what would the future of it be like. However, just because the incident made a high blow doesn't mean it proves that heroes are not always there to save. I remember the words of the former number one hero from Japan, the man who revolutionizes the way we see heroism today." Kirei smiles as she continues her speech.

"As long as there is heroism in your heart, then you too can be a hero."

"...Wow." Ruby was amazed by such simple words of motivation. "My daughter, and her classmates, by fighting the villains proves that even if they are under-prepared, the heroism in their hearts won't allow them to back away from saving the day. And I...am really proud of that." Kirei looks down at her daughter, caressing her hair as a single tear sheds. Ruby takes notice of that. "Miss Oogami, there's a-" She was going to point out, but Kirei wipes the tear off. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be very emotional about that." She says. Ruby smiles, responding with "It's okay."

Hospital
The soft clacking of boots could be heard echoing down the halls of the hospital, Eiji having arrived sometime later in order to check on the various students and a few of the civilians who had been injured in the earlier villain attacks. While on the surface she appeared to lack any direct injuries, below the thick sweater she wore still existed a myriad of bandages over the numerous cuts, sore and itchy though taking effort not to allow the discomfort of such to sure. With a large basket within the crook of her right arm, she idly checks the registry for the location of each occupant before carrying on once more.

While she would like to have said the visit was purely for the sake of her classmates, there was still a slight ulterior motive, the entire event and actions still played through her mind as if she was missing something, not content to take the purpose of the attack at face value and was perhaps hoping the others could shed some clues as to the real motives behind the coordinated effort.

Headmasters Office
Making their way through the school with a purpose, Eiji finally arrived in front of Metal jackets office, a look of deep thought on her face as she raises her hand to knock. The fact the school hadn't really debriefed or questioned them after the entire event did raise questions with her but more importantly, was what she had found among the kitten's belongings. Now she was not one to step away for a challenge, but as much as she had attempted several combinations of efforts and her own research she was no further than when she started outside of a few potential guesses, and now the teachers where not AS busy with the disaster then perhaps they would have time to talk.

- 3 days after the tunnel attack, Egon’s apartment –
Metal Jacket endured their celebration in respectful silence, nodding as it was confirmed that Egon accepted her job. Her promise only seemed to further improve his mood. As soon as she was done, he grabbed his sandwich and said:
“I appreciate the hospitality, but now there’s no time to rest! Come with me, kiddo, after a quick stop I’ll be taking you straight to the gym. You have 60 seconds to finish that sandwich and get yourself ready. Go, go, go! On the double!!” He commanded, taking another bite of his sandwich.

Location> Queens' general hospital, Annie's room

While it was certainly a surprise to see someone else in Annie’s room, it was certainly a very welcome one. She greeted back, giggling as she saw the sisters banter. It made her wonder if her mother would be here for her if she was in Annie’s place; probably not, but one could only hope. Shortly after, Annie began talking about everything that happened. Seeing her all lively and excited like that provided the girl with some much-needed peace of mind.
“Yeah, that was completely planned, start to finish!” She joked, looking serious for a grand total of a couple seconds before bursting into laughter. She then turned to Tessa and said: “it’s true, we helped each other out. But you should have seen your sister. She went like bang! Zoom! Kaplow! She started to explain with excessive gesturing. “There were a bunch of lines, a box made of boxes and a gigantic neon dragon!” Then, she glanced back at Annie and said: It’s easily the prettiest quirk I’ve ever seen, and a pretty handy one too. Oh! Right, just a second…”
Alita looked down on her bag and stuck her hand in it, fondling through a few items on it. Before long, she produced an exotic-looking bag of candies.

“I heard that hospital food gets old pretty fast, so I’m bringing a little something for everyone stuck here. I hope you like it!”
She said, offering up the bag to Annie. “They’re pretty sour on the outside, but if you stick it through the end, there’s a sweet surprise! Kinda like being here, I’d say.”

"SIR YES SIR!" Egon shouted as she shoved her sandwich into her mouth, and sprinted to her room, threw on a pair of black skinny jeans, a good fitting black and red t shirt, and her black Vans. After getting changed, she ran out, finishing her food and grabbing her bag. "I am ready! Bye mom! Bye aunt Lydia!" and just like that, she was off with Metal Jacket. Her journey of becoming a hero has just begun. CapRock CapRock

When Metal Jacket heard the knocking at the door, he was completely focused on some specific paperwork. He snapped out if it, putting the sheets inside his drawer, putting down his reading glasses and straightening his posture.

“Come in” he said. Once the student did, he asked: “What’s the matter, kid? If someone’s been bullying you, stand up for yourself and smack them right back, I’m not your nanny.”

Throwing on her usual smile she gives a slight nod and giggles as she enters "Well ignoring provocateurs always seemed more effective, though I will take that into account should it escalate to that" continuing onwards until she reaches the center of the room and folding her arms behind her back "However this was regarding something slightly more serious, I would have brought it sooner but with the hospital visits, clean up, media swarms and all the other fallout getting the attention of the faculty has been a bit difficult".

Reaching behind her she pulls out a laminated sleeve with a strange document inside as well as a cloth wrapped object before moving forward to put them down on his desk with a slight click from the weight of one. "You see the entire invasion earlier? Something just really seems like it's missing, the leaks and timing aside...and I found this among the belongings of one of the attackers, a kitten like an individual with a speed quirk who i suspect had been groomed for it after an unfortunate past....It feels important but try as i might i can't make sense of it, I didnt know if you knew anyone with experiance in that area?" returning her hands to the previous position as she keeps her glance down at him.

Jamie Wilson
Location: Hospital Room

Jamie laid in his hospital bed as he stared up at the ceiling. For the first time in his life he had to fight for his own life and fight for others peoples lives. It was an experience and a fight that Jamie will never forget, he fought someone who was way stronger than him and had much more battle experience and Jamie did everything he could to hold him off. Unfortunately he couldn't defeat him and he was able to get away before the pro heroes could get him. Jamie bit his bottom lip as he was frustrated that he couldn't defeat that guy. He was also frustrated that he had gotten hurt in the process. Jamie ended up braking his left ankle, as well as sustain a concussion and had some other less serious injuries, the hospital wanted to keep him there fr a few days just to make sure that he was okay. Jamie had talked to his parents on the phone and told them everything that had happened, though he was able to convince them to not come out to New York City all the way from Minnesota. He assured them that he would be okay, he knew that it was an expensive plane ticket and since his family had fallen on rough times financially he didn't want to force his parents to spend the money and fly out to him. Since he had been in the hospital the only person besides doctors and nurses who had come to see him in his room was a police detective who asked him a lot of questions about his fight with Wrath. The detective eventually thanked the boy and let him know that he did a great job of fighting off a tough opponent like that, because he was able to hold him off theres a good chance he helped saved lived that day. Jamie would inwardly smile after the detective left after hearing his positive words.

Jamie would now lay in his bed at the hospital feeling alone, wondering how the rest of his classmates made out, he knew a couple others were in the hospital as well and wondered if they were doing alright.

Egon was walking down the halls when she heard a conversation between Metal Jacket and Eiji. She had come in right when Eiji was revealing some information on one of the villains who attacked them in Queens. "Hi guys! Whacha talkin' about?" She asked as she saw a document on the table. She grew curious, and walked over to the table. "Y'know, this reminds me of a conversation you had, mr. Metal Jacket. Something about bangin' your noggin against some cyphers or something? Maybe something to do with this stuff here?" She asked as she looked at Eiji and Metal Jacket. PlusUltra PlusUltra CapRock CapRock

🎭Ana Pham🎭

A quiet knock on the door proceeds its opening. An Asian man in his late 20s steps through the doorway into the hospital room, lacking any extravagant hero costume. After all, he claims to be retired. Instead he wears a simple black hoodie over a brown t-shirt, with simple jeans and unassuming shoes. Ruby my know him only by reputation, but he's recognizable to Kirei. His name is Ana Pham, better known as the former hero Spectral Assassin. One of the two surviving members of the superhero team Outsider Guardians, most famous for their part in the assault on the Seven Deadly Sins. An event which tragically took the lives of three of the five man team, and caused Ana to cease his promising career as a hero. But despite officially being retired, ever since the Sins became active again a fair few criminals have been put in the slammer thanks to Ana. He claims to have simply stumbled across them, but in truth the only reason he hasn't been labeled a vigilante yet is respect and sympathy from the board of heroes. Though even they have their limits.

For Kirei, seeing Ana again might be shocking. He had avoided any contact with her ever since the tragic mission where he lost his teammates, and he was a young teenager then. Now it's been 12 years, and he looks much different. Sadder, for one thing. But he's quiet as ever, as it takes him a minute of awkwardly standing in the doorway before he says, "I... heard about your daughter. I came to offer my support." He looks at the comatose Beatrice and scowls. "Gluttony did this, right?" Ana's hands tighten into fists, his nails roughly digging into his skin. "It's a failure of this country that that scum was ever allowed out of prison." With how tight Ana is wound, he almost looks about to leap out of the window to chase after Gluttony himself.
