Hero Risen OOC

Oh so this is one of those we make the characters for the quest ourselves?
((this is one of the only times that you'll have like an open design, i didn't want to limit your character's creation to just a few presets.))
So do we pick our own powers or will it be assigned to us?
((thatll come in soon, youll have a selection, but it wont be open ended like the character creation))
I see. Do we also add faceclaims or anything like that then? Or do we stick just to description of the character when we do the costume?
PS: Ain't it a little weird we're doing the costumes before knowing the powers? Just sayin'

Do we reply with the character form/choices here or in the IC thread? Just asking so I don't start cluttering the threads with stuff that is supposed to go elsewhere. ^^;
Also, good luck on your classes!

You didn't really answer me in regards to the faceclaims, so I went ahead and added one and a description as well. In any case, if there is anything you have a problem with regarding my CS, do let me know!

Base Concept: Cantral Wither is the second child of a largely successful beverage development company that relies in early scouting of young talent and intensive marketing tactics to outshine it's competitors. His father's confidence and charisma were something Cantral admired since young, and soon he began absorbing his father's teachings like rice absorbs water. His older sister, however, was far from satisfied. She wanted a little sister badly, and not having gotten one, she devised a plan to have one without getting caught. She began by implating small suggestions in Cantral's mind using her prodigial skill with her psych ability, which would lead Cantral to developing several bad habits little things about his hair style, way of walking and so on...meanwhile, she used those same powers to persuade her father of how adorable Cantral might look in a dress... maybe he could even be a company mascot! Over time Cantral's wardrobe changed, as did the reason he wasn't allowed to do sports. Still, he never became quite as adept at using his ability or at school as his prodigee of an older sister, so he's development a bit of resentment over his envy of her, though he remains unawar of what she did to him and his life.
Appearance-wise Cantral has a short slender figure with pale well-cared skin and long whitened hair tied up in twintails. He has rather intense eyebrows, but a compatively small nose and ears. His voice is lighter piched than one would expect, though it isn't yet clear whether this is just delayed development or a permanent matter. Unsurprisingly he is often confused with a girl, a fact that still stings a little but which he has gotten used to over time.

Name: Cantral Wither

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

Costume: Designed by Cantral's father, the costume is one big walking commercial. It consists of a three-layered dark blue garment, starting with a thick winter jacket keeping itself closed with two sets of buttons painted to resemble bottle caps from some of the sodas sold by his father's company, and white feathers around the collar. The back of the jacket has a large logo of the company's maskot, Blizzard the snow husky. This jacket however, is mostly used when it's cold only. Beneath the jacket is the most complex layer. The most immediately striking elements are the less pratical ones: A pair of husky-resembleing bandelet ears, large costume dog collar around his deck and a tail attached to a puch belt. Combined with the face paint he will put on if there is time, this is once again to give the image of the company maskot. If they get damaged, there are countless replacements ready. The rest of this layer is a lot more pratical consisting of lightweight protective gear, namely a bullet proof vest, with a bit of "armor" over the chest for effect. The protection has the names of several products sold by the company, and a skirt made from old pamphlets from the company's starting days. The final layer underneath all this is a simple one-piece swimsuit in case there is ever need for an underwater mission.

That said, beyond the clothing itself, there is more to the costume. The contents of the pouches for instance, include several products made the company and business cards with directions to nearby stores. Lastly, the suits contains a pressurized device that looks like a vaccum attached to a drink dispenser, though calling it more like a soda-based hose would be more accurate.

Powers: Psych Powers

Personally I'm doing it here. And hopefully not doing it wrong... Well, worst comes to worst, I can always just copy paste it into the IC

Alrighty, done, hopefully. Sorry if the whole description ain't the greatest, bit of rushed work, bit of me not being the greatest at describing disparate elements in sequence.

Alright, then I'll just do the same for now; at least until Lunar says otherwise, haha.

I'm afraid I'm not really at my most creative for coming up with characters at the moment, though, so I'm sorry in advance for the shortness of and lack of inspiration in it.

Name: Teal Berardi
Gender: female
Sexuality: straight
Costume: The core part of her costume boils down to a green, long-sleeved leotard and yellow, wide, puffy shorts over a pair of white tights. This gives the outfit a resemblance to Italian Renaissance men's clothing, aided by her white half-cape. However, the laced ankle boots, finger-less gloves and the beanie she constantly wears (all three of them grey) break that style.
Powers: Flight and Speed

Teal is from a fairly ordinary family, and if it weren't for her laid-back attitude (some might even call it laziness) she might never have discovered her powers. The first time she noticed them was when the elevator in her apartment block was broken and she didn't feel like walking up the stairs. So she tried to imagine herself floating up instead, and to her own surprise, found herself and her belongings rising up in the air slightly. That revelation caused her to have a surge of motivation, experimenting with her powers and developing them, and eventually signing up as a Hero.

Simple is the best sometimes XD A little normality really becomes a breath of fresh air among the abnormal crowd. XD Looking foward to see our characters enteracting!

Justone part is a bit of a problem, the costume and the backstory. in the IC post it said that Weaver, a famous hero designer, designed the costume.

Ah also for some reason I skipped one of the most important parts in the IC; THE 2ND CHARACTER UGH.
Do you both wanna be a crime fighting duo? if so, i guess you guys could start off as friends in the RP!
Idea Idea Felis Felis

Hmmm...maybe we could say weaver was pressured to add in certain details? Or maybe the design was later altered during the actual production of the costumes? Or maybe Weaver just takes requests?

Yeah that works, after all it was a custom order! Also by 2nd character i meant i didnt mention Felis's character.

Hey lemme know what yall think of me doing some partial voice acting like the one in the latest post

Honestly, they aren't great. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate trying to do something different, but I feel as though if you're gonna include them they should have a bit more...flare I guess? Or something a bit more pertinent to them at least.
