Fantasy uncharted land

Mitra poured less than half a mug for herself and drank slowly. Warmness of the drink thaqt washed the meal down was better than its taste.

Mitra thought for a moment. "I don't know. Maybe Typha... or blackgum... I can't talk their language when I can't talk their words when I'm talking to you." She answered. Smithson's question was a dangerous one since could lead him to the fact that she'd been a dragon for a while.

“And I assume ember interporated for you” said captain smithson

Captain fetri’s crew had already had their breakfast “We will be parting ways, one of us will go due west while abother group goes to he northwest.” Said Cpt. fetri motioning the directions of travel from the camp “So, all those who wishes to go with me on the northwestern party, say aye”

"He's a great help. I owe him a lot." Mitra said honestly.

"Aye!" Magi was the first to answer and stand by Fetri's side. "I'll take the path that you order, captain." Ben said as wasn't sure which party needed his help more.

“I would imagine if he could guide you here” said Captain Smithson

“I’ll be going to points not yet seen by you” explained captain Fetri “The westerly party may find themselves in the same land you’ve already treaded” “But we have compasses” said a sailor “Yes, but given how long they were lost you may end up in places that the unnofficial party explored.”

"I don't understand you, captain." Mitra said in puzzled tone.

"Then I'll joi you captain. Because the othere party is following a safer path. I only need to tell them which villages are safe and they'll be fine." Ben said.

“If you were lost for all that time, you had to have someone guide you and I was under the impression that Ember sort of took you in as it were”

“And i need two to stay behind” said Cpt. fetri grabbing supplies “Aye sir” said one of the sailors “Good” replied captain Fetri “one shall keep track of base camp while the other shall check up on my crew.” He soon turned back to the newly formed parties saying “Now men, grab anything you might need because we may never see civilization for days on end”

Images of fighting against Ember revived in Mitra's mind. She nodded. "He saved me." She said.

Ben picked items that Fetri might need while Magi only kept a water skin.

“Care to tell or is that private?” asked captain Smithson getting up as if to scope out the area.

The parties split up as Cpt. Fetri, Ben, Magi and a couple of daggar weilding sailors walked out into the praeie where thick fog loomed and they could hardly see within five meters in front of them “Thank gods I packed a decent coat”

"What do you want to know? You've already answered your questions." Mitra said.

"I don't like fog. It's eerie and makes me afraid of losing my path." Ben said as dropped the bag of supplements over his shoulder and walked toward his shadow.

“Oh” said the captain before turning to his crew “Men! we need to unpack our camp and continue the jaunt toward wherever the path takes us!”

“At least we could see somethings” said the captain “Unlike the fog on the ship where everyghing is shrouded in the stuff”

Ember heard Smithson calling his crew and approached them. "Finally moving? If you want to meet more clans I can take you to the next village." He suggested.

Ben didn't nag about the fog again. He walked as straight as the ground beneath their feet allowed. Their journey had began in silence.

“And I would assume they’re just down the trail, yes?” asked Captain Smithson

They would eventually come across a herd of resting bufallo as they graze on the high greenish-yellow grass.

"You can find villages everywhere. You just need to go far enough, since clans like to keep their fields apart, and avoid dangerous locations." Ember said.

"beautiful, aren't they?" Ben asked as saw several buffalo in fresh green prairie. "Just don't anger them. They're not cute at all." Magi noted.

“Dangerous locations?” asked the captain in a concerned tone of voice

The captain walked beside the herd as one of the bulls called over to another unseen herd.

"Of course. Don't you have such places in your homeland?" Ember asked. "Humans are fragile creatures. Thye can be hunted by predators or simply drawn in a swamp or even a river."

"This is fishy... Why is a bull concerned with captain? We should walk away from them and take a path around their herd." Magi suggested.

“I know what dangerous places are, but what i was concerned about was where these places might be” said Captain smithson

“Agreed” said the captain walking away from the herd motioning the others to do the same.

"I'll tell you whenever you're near one." Ember said then gestured toward the woods. "For example, deep in that woods are smart predators that you don't want to mess with."

The samll group walked behind captain Fetri, having the eyes on bulls and claves grazing fresh grass.

“Okay” said Captain Smithson as his soldiers kept collapsing the tents into their rucksacks.

Cpt. fetri keeps walking away from the Buffalo herd untill they ran into a villaige five minutes later.

Emebr looked at sought west where the vast green was potted by bushes and ended by few green hills. He remembered a nomad clan living about that prairie. He decided to have Smithson meet them.

Ben wasn't good as drawing or mapping but he was trying to record their path and what they saw accurately. He even tried to draw the village the had arrived at. "Which village is it?" He asked Magi. "I'm not sure. My village is faraway." She answered. "Do you still want to meet the old spiritual mage to ask her about a name for our land?" She asked Fetri.

They walked out into the prairie as all of the party members including the captain followed Ember for he could protect them in a strange new land “So what kind of crops do they tend to grow here if you don’t mind me asking?” said Captain Smithson.

The villaige on grass (pop. 40) consisted of several wigwams, a fire pit and a great wetu that dominates over the others “I suppose so, yes.” said the captain as the villaigers stared at the apparent tribe of pale men & their colorful and/or shiny clothes. The villaigers were speechless as they’d never seen anyone like this before.

"Corn... mostly. There are other herbs that you can make a list out of them... and in some other areas, more to the sought, you can find potatoes too. But only a few villages has considerable fruit gardens." Suren answered.

"Then I'll ask these people if they recently have met her." Magi said and ran a head. "Good morning!" She called the people who were watching them and waved her hand.
