Hello world! I'd like to apologize for my cliche and rather inaccurate title; I was trying to be funny. My name is eliwantscake, and I've actually been doing pbp rpgs for a little over six years now. Thankfully, my skills have improved over time, because if I still wrote like I did when I was new to this, I wouldn't be able to get any replies with everyone cringing away from me. Now, I'm an advanced roleplayer who tries to write three to five paragraphs per post (I say this, but if I can't write a full five paragraphs, I usually won't reply at all, so I often look for partners with similar standards). I enjoy writing in first person, although I'm not very strict about this.
I often prefer to get to know about a forum before I start roleplaying on it, and while I still can't send PMs (from what I understand) I would love to talk to some people and hear what everyone has to say about the site. I will say that it seems far more active than any other site I use, which gives me pretty high hopes for my experience here.
I was going to make a list of questions I had, but it turns out I really only have one: does this website allow pafp/pafr (private after first post/reply) threads? I haven't seen many forums that have these, as they seem almost exclusive to my first roleplaying website and its sister sites, but they're one of my favorite ways to make threads, and if they're allowed I'm likely to make quite a few.

- medieval fantasy with modern twists (EX. a dragon eats muse A's horse. Muse A nods and says, "Big mood."; EX. 2. The princess is kidnapped. One of the knights frowns. "This is so sad, Alexa play Despacito.") (if you don't fully get the idea I can elaborate)
- criminal/gang stuff
- there's some other stuff but it's 6 AM and I'm sleep deprived
