Character Creation Rules:

1. No Big Three characters - Since it's a relatively small group, there aren't going to be any children from Zeus, Poseidon, or Hades.
2. Only demigods. No demititans, children of primordials, legacies, or half-monsters.
3. No overpowered characters, keep everything balanced. Children of certain gods have 'rare' powers(charmspeak for Aphrodite, fire control for Hephaestus), not all of their children have it.
4. Try to stick to lore. A lot of these campers would've never met their godly parent, or interacted with them at all aside from being claimed.
5. Try to avoid too many incredibly depressing backstories, not every demigod killed their parent or grew up on the streets or whatever.
6. At least three strengths and three weaknesses, keep them balanced. Age range from 14-18. For personality and backstory, try to keep it to a paragraph or two.

Jacob Lord

Personality - Jacob is the embodiment of shoot first, ask questions later. He's reckless, a bit hotheaded, and tends to be happiest when there's a fight going on, whether he's participating or not. He tends to be a bad influence on most people, encouraging them to 'live life to the fullest' by doing slightly ridiculous things like flirting with someone they have no shot with or starting a brawl with someone twice their size. He's unwaveringly loyal to his friends, and he's brave, at least in the way that he doesn't think something through enough to realize it'll kill him or seriously injure him.
Backstory - Jacob had a pretty normal upbringing. His mother had no idea who Ares was, simply assuming him the mysterious stranger who knocked her up and ran. She married a mortal a few years later, had a few normal kids, and Jacob had a normal family. When he was almost twelve, the monster attacks started, leaving his family vulnerable. The first time a satyr came to tell him about camp, he was packed and ready to go. Whether or not he believed in the Greek mythology thing at first was irrelevant, the next monster attack could be the one that got into his house, attacked his little siblings. It simply wasn't worth the risk to stay home. He elected to go to camp year-round, to train. He was claimed after about eight months at camp, though most knew early on who his father was due to his immediate proficiency with a weapon, an instinctive knowledge of how to hold it and how to not get skewered.

Like most demigods, he made a home at Camp Half-Blood, taking the recent spread of disease personally. Over half of his siblings were stuck in quarantine, leaving him to be elected as emergency counselor until the real counselor stopped coughing up blood. He was one of the first to start hammering Chiron and Mr. D for a quest, with no success so far.

Godly Powers - Battle prowess, physically stronger than most people, and he has a decent amount of ability with most weapons.
Weapons - He has a celestial bronze sword and shield, both smithed by the Hephaestus cabin. The sword is laced with a weak poison, something that saps the strength of his opponent.
Strengths - Physical strength, battle strategy, quick thinker.
Weaknesses - Slow, not the most intelligent, incredibly reckless.
Extra - Counselor of the Ares cabin.

Personality - Kiara is quiet at first, but if someone is willing to start the interaction with her, she becomes a real chatterbox. She has an intense love of learning, specifically about magic, and she is liable to spend hours reading about it, jotting down notes, and occasionally trying out smaller spells. Or larger ones, if she has permission and supervision. She knows enough about magic to not experiment without a backup plan.

Backstory - Kiara is the daughter of an Irishman who studied the old myths and legends of his home country, until eventually he stumbled across true magic, earning the attention of Hecate. It had been so long since a mortal man had any grasp on her element, and it intrigued her enough to show herself to him in dreams.

Eventually, that relationship lead to the birth of a daughter, born with silver hair, and an aptitude for magic that dwarfed that of her father. She grew up wanting to learn all she could. Unfortunately, despite her father’s warnings, she learned enough that monsters could smell her very easily. After the first attack, her mother approached her father in another dream, and told him that he had to send her away. And so he did. Kiara misses him terribly, but she understands that he isn’t safe with her there.

Godly Powers - An innate understanding of magic. Give her a potion, or a magical item, and some time, and she’ll be able to work through what it does, and how it was made. She’s also capable of making her own magical items, but a lot of the ingredients are hard to come by, the process is exhausting, and it takes a long time. And if she wants any mechanical components involved, she’ll need help from a child of Hephaestus, because she sure as Hades can’t do that part herself.

Also she can talk to cats, but that’s a minor thing.

Weapon - A barbed whip that she designed herself. On the command word, it will attempt to grapple whatever it’s in contact with.

Strengths - Intelligent, creative, and a power with a variety of uses.
Weaknesses - Physically weak, at least in comparison to other demigods, and if she didn’t prepare for a fight, her abilities won’t be of much use.

Personality - Alexander represents one side of his father, Janus, while his sister represents the other. Alex himself is the more pessimistic, realist side, he uses logic, not emotion, to dictate his decisions. Overall, he's a rational person, he thinks every decision through carefully, usually to the annoyance of his sister. Overall, cold is a general word to describe him. He doesn't get attached easily, or at all, really. The only person who really knows anything about him is his sister.
Backstory - Neither of the twins really know why Janus was so attracted to their mother, why he chose her of all people. She was a teacher, she was poor, and she never really did anything worthy of a god's attention, at least not logically. But gods don't always think logically, so nine months later, she had twins. From the moment of their birth, the twins were incredibly different. While Olivia was a relatively normal, if not a little clingy, child, Alex was immediately independent, rarely crying even as a newborn. As the twins got older, those differences grew far more obvious. Alexander was intelligent, not very sensitive to other people's emotions, distant to almost everyone, while his sister was like an emotional sponge, soaking up everyone's feelings and doing everything in her power to help.

They got to camp at a relatively old age for demigods, at sixteen, though it wasn't due to a lack of monster attacks. Alone, they were never really in much danger, but together, with the scent of two demigods, monsters attacked on a daily basis, swarming them. Their mother, who could see through the Mist, understood what was happening, but was helpless to defend them. Instead, she found help, searching for months for an explanation as to why her children were so different, why these... things that weren't supposed to exist were attacking their house. Finally, her search found Camp Half-Blood, a home for Greek demigods. Not necessarily the best place for children of Janus, but their home nonetheless.
Godly Powers - Like his sister, Alex doesn't really have a lot of flashy, magical abilities. Instead, he could pass for a Hermes camper - he's a bit faster and a bit stronger than a normal demigod, but most of his abilities were learned, not inherited. He doesn't have his sister's pension for sensing choices.
Weapon - He has two spears, fully made of celestial bronze, and a sword. He has a shield made for him, but it's collecting dust in his cabin.
Strengths - Physically strong, intelligent, thinks well in bad situations.
Weaknesses - Terrible at most ranged weapons(he almost shot his own foot once), has the emotional range of a carrot, doesn't make allies easily, overthinks literally everything.
Extra - Due to the fact that they are the only Janus campers, he and his sister both take the counselor role together.

Godly Powers - Through Janus, Olivia only has one real ability - the power of choices. While she can't see the specifics, if someone near her is plagued with a decision, such as what college to attend or what boy to ask out, she senses it. She can't tell what the choice is about. Aside from that, she simply has the powers of a normal demigod - a bit stronger, a bit faster than the average mortal, she's a pretty good fighter.
Weapon - She has two daggers, made of stygian iron, and a bow, which is her normal weapon.
Strengths - Archery, physically quick, gets along with everyone.
Weaknesses - Physically weak, far too emotional, not very good with most weaponry.
Extra - Due to the fact that she and her brother are the only Janus campers, they are both the counselor of the cabin.

  Violet has a birthmark shaped like the sun on her neck. She wears sweatshirts and high collars to hide it.
- Personality:
  Violet is your typical nice girl. She's kind and helpful to just about every camper, regardless of whether or not they like her. After all, being part of the Apollo cabin, and thus having duties as a healer, she can't discriminate with her patients. Her natural kindness often translates into shyness upon first meeting someone. However, around those she's known for a while, she's playful and sweet. Along with her helpfulness comes a wise and calming personality that gives solid advice in most social situations.
  
  While working on a patient, Violet is focused and no-nonsense. Going against her wishes as a "doctor" is probably a bad idea, since she will end up tying you down and forcing you to take your medicine. The only people she'll listen to while in this mode are her siblings who are also healers, as she believes any second opinion on such matters to be valid. However, her kindness still shows in that she tries to make her operations and treatments as painless as possible, so as to make things easier for the patient in question.
  
  It takes a lot to make Violet truly angry. But if you threaten or hurt her friends, or harass one of her siblings, she will go Mama Bear on you. Camp Half-Blood means everything to her, and messing with it and its campers is taken as a personal insult. It's only when she's truly angry that she's willing to fight for the sake of her family. Violet clings to family like a lifeline. Her siblings mean the world to her, and she'd do practically anything for them, even if it meant sacrificing herself for them.
- History:
  Violet had a fairly standard childhood, despite being raised in the foster care system. At first, she'd been raised in an orphanage, in which she was loved by practically all the children and caretakers for her kindness and willingness to help in most situations. Soon enough, she was submersed into the foster care system for "better opportunities." Thankfully, the first family she ended up staying with took a shine to her, and she stayed with them from the time she was five to eight years old.
  
  Why did she leave them? She didn't. They, in a sense, left her. Violet's foster sister, Nadia, was only two years older than her, but they became fast friends. The girls were rarely ever separated, so it was especially devastating the night their house set on fire. Violet's foster father ushered a crying Violet out before going back into the house to find his wife and daughter. However, they didn't make it out in time, and Violet had to go to another foster family.
  
  From then on, Violet started seeing strange things. The night of the fire, she could've sworn she saw something crawling away from the house. She never told anyone about these visions, however, as she didn't think anyone would believe her. Her second foster family was nice enough, but she still missed Nadia and her parents. This family understood her grief and gave her the space she needed to heal.
  
  One day, a year after the fire, she was approached by a twelve-year-old boy, one of her new neighbors. He whispered to her, "You seem them, too, right?" and when she asked what he meant, he gave her a serious stare and said, "The monsters, of course." Finally, she'd found someone who understood what she was seeing and didn't think she was crazy. The boy's name was Kevin, and he became the center of Violet's life. He was the one who told her of demigods and convinced her that she was one. She finally understood why she'd been feeling so strange this past year.
  
  After a few months, Kevin convinced Violet to run away with him and a friend of his, Doug, who claimed to be a satyr protector of demigods. Though Violet was wary at first, she agreed, and she left a note for her foster family, saying she was going to find out who her parents were. That wasn't entirely a lie, but she still carries the guilt to this day.
  
  Kevin, Violet, and Doug managed to make it to the outskirts of New York City before the major monsters came. If they could talk, the monsters called Kevin the "son of Love" and Violet the "daughter of Sun" whenever they escaped their clutches. Kevin quickly figured out that he was a son of Aphrodite and Violet was the daughter of Apollo, and the floating symbols that appeared above their heads then confirmed their suspicions.
  
  The two demigods didn't have any training in any type of fighting, so they had to stick to elusive tactics when dealing with monsters. Doug used his panpipes in emergencies, but otherwise, they survived without any help...barely. Soon enough, they reached the base of Half-Blood Hill, and that was when the hellhounds came. Doug brought out his panpipes and Kevin found a thick branch, and the two fought the beasts, urging Violet to go on ahead. Tears streaming down her face, she did what they said. As soon as she crossed the border, she cried for help. She was barely ten years old at this point and was terrified at the thought of Kevin getting hurt.
  
  Other campers noticed the kerfuffle, and they rushed to her aid. Or, rather, Kevin and Doug's aid. Violet waited anxiously at the base of the hill until finally she saw campers stumble over the camp boundary. Doug, with the help of another camper, carried Kevin over the hill. Violet rushed to his side as he was laid on the ground to be inspected by a healer. To her surprise, when she touched him, she could sense where he was hurt...which was everywhere. He was bleeding badly from multiple wounds. She looked into Kevin's eyes, and he instantly knew he wouldn't make it. Taking her hand gently in his, he murmured, "Don't cry, Vi. I promise I'll always stay with you." He took off the ring he always wore on his finger--a gift from his mother to his father--and gave it to her. A few moments later, he was gone.
  
  Violet stayed at the camp from then on in the Apollo Cabin. Though she was indeed disheartened and full of grief after Kevin's death, she moved on and became acclimated to life at Camp Half-Blood, training in archery and learning how to control her demigod power. Her siblings and fellow campers became her new family, and every now and then, she still got to see Doug, who still beats himself up for losing Kevin. Now, she tries to set an example to both her siblings and younger campers. In her eyes, all of them are in the same boat, and as such, all of them are needed to keep the ship sailing. She still lives by that philosophy today.
- Power:
  Diagnosis via Touch
  With one touch, Violet can sense what exactly is ailing her patient. As such, you should really listen to her when she says you sprained your ankle. However, despite her skills, she cannot use this power to detect internal conditions with organs such as cancer or heart disease. She can only determine outer physical ailments such as broken bones or sprains and of course bleeding.
  
  Weapon:
  True to the image of her father, Vi uses a bow and arrow. However, because she's not the best with fighting or even archery, she really doesn't like violence of any sort and chooses to only use it during emergencies.

  A standard Camp Half-Blood bow. She practices her archery at least three times a week, since (as she says) she's average as an archer. The carries it plus a quiver of arrows at all times on her back.
  Portable First Aid Kit
  Like all good medics, Violet carries around a First Aid kit in case someone needs a band aid or needs on-the-spot assistance. This is strapped around her waist. She restocks it weekly.
  Kevin's Ring
  Violet wears the ring Kevin gave her to this day. It's a simple gold band with floral design on it. She never has the heart to explain where it came from to those who don't know.
  Camp Beads
  Violet has a camp necklace with eight beads for every summer she's been there. She never takes it off, and she can often be found twirling the beads when deep in thought.

Kjell is the one guy who is brotherly towards everyone. He has a keen when it comes to sensing the good and evil in someone, or even a simple mood change. A lot of people come to him when they're feeling down or simply want comfort since he always seems to know what to say, and while he tends to lean towards the humorous and devious side, Kjell knows how to throw on his mature face when it comes down to it. That makes him one of the more reliable campers for duties and responsibilities at the end of the day.

Affection is something Kjell is no stranger too. Whether stranger or friend, he treats everyone as if he's known them forever (respectfully, of course). Leaving someone out of an activity or social event is something he'd never be seen doing unless he had no knowledge of them being there. Being very in touch with his surroundings, however, it's highly unlikely that he'd let someone go unnoticed. When it comes to those closer to him, he allows them to do as they please, such as sitting on him, using him as a pillow, or even carrying them around when they want. It may seem a bit over the top for some, but he enjoys physical affection too much and honestly doesn't care.

Although Kjell is an overall warm and decent guy, he can get angry. It's rare but those who have witnessed or experienced his anger warn others to stay away. He can be extremely aggressive, especially verbally, and often marches alone somewhere to cool off. There's really no getting to him when he's in such a state unless a person has known him forever and knows how to calm him down. He can also go into periods of slight depression and laziness, not knowing what to do and why he should. This usually happens when he's hit a creative stump for weapons.

Kjell was born to an Egyptian mother and unknown father in Gothbenburg, Sweden. He bared no hatred to the father that was never a part of his life because his mother told him he died protecting her from thugs. If anything, he looks up to the man even if he has no idea what he looks like or what he was like personality wise. The only thing he knew about his father were stories, even though they seemed far fetched at times.

Growing up, Kjell didn't really have any problems growing up. He made friends, played sports, and loved the people in his life. There was always something missing, however, and that missing part of his soul came in the form of a monster at age 10. He didn't know what it was, only that he was scared and had no idea what to do, and that only he could see it. It was that a strange man came and defeated the creature, and explained so much stuff he couldn't understand.

For a few weeks, Kjell lived in complete denial. Monsters kept appearing and so did the man. The Swede eventually realized that going with him was the only way to learn how to fight them off and protect his mother, so he caved in to the offer. Once Kjell arrived at the camp, he knew that he should've came a lot earlier.

[div class=colorbox]POWERS[/div] Besides the typical extra strength and speed of every demi-god out there, Kjell harnesses the power of Hephaestus. While he can't manipulate or create fire, he is able to build godly weapons from scratch as well as repair them. It's as if he can touch a weapon and know what's wrong with or how to fix them. They talk to him, in a sense.

[div class=colorbox]WEAPON[/div] Since Kjell is great at throwing and hand-to-hand, he carries two battle axes as well as gloves made out of celestial bronze that act as both weapon and shield--all crafted by him, of course. He knows how to wield standard demi-god weapons such as the sword, shield, and bow, but they're just really not his thing. Another thing to note is that his gloves and axes are connected, giving him the ability to recall his primary weapon.

Every now and then, Kjell will poke at the guy. He likes to call Alex his friend, even though he's positive the guy strongly dislikes him. Regardless of Alex's feelings, however, Kjell's about as friendly with Alex as everyone else.

Kjell's pretty friendly with Olivia since he's "friends" with Alex and since the twins always together. That being said, he doesn't know much about the female.

Rika is a rather quiet individual that some might even consider skittish. While she loves people, she has a hard time expressing that love and often comes off as shy and awkward. The teen is also considerably clumsy for her age, though she works hard for the things she believes in and cares for. Many might believe she's an ignorant child, but she's ruled by countless thoughts and worries, making her the one person that can give advice and knowledge when least expected.

Rika was born in Japan, however, she an her mother quickly emigrated due to the harsh treatment received by family. Her mother had gotten pregnant before marriage and the man was no where to be found, so it was clear Rika's grandmother and grandmother wouldn't have it as the views in Japan were quiet conservative. After immigrating to San Francisco, CA, young Rika had to adjust to the dramatically different life.

Growing up, Rika didn't have many issues. It wasn't until she turned fourteen that people became to label her as strange or odd. The young girl develop social anxiety due to her distrust and nightmares prevented introduced her to the world of insomnia. Things she never believed to be real often appeared in front of her eyes so vividly, sending her into a fit of screams and crying. She dealt with such episodes alone until her mother was finally convinced to send her daughter to a psychiatric hospital.

It was at the psychiatric hospital that a strange man appeared. Apparently, she wasn't crazy or insane. Of course, his explanation sounded as bizarre as her experiences, but she knew it couldn't be any worse. Since then, she's been at Camp Half-Blood for a bit over a year. She's still adjusting to the environment and opening up very slowly.

[div class=dot][/div][div class=header2]DEMI-GOD[/div]
[div class=colorbox]POWERS[/div] She has the standard demi-god powers of being slightly stronger and faster. Specific to Hypnos, she's capable of inducing sleep and visions, sometimes manipulate dreams. It's important to note that while Rika has the potential to be a powerful warrior, she has little control over what, how she does things, and will likely never master her abilities. The only thing she can really do is help people sleep by touching their head or attempting to access their mind while they sleep. When she does use her powers, she tends to lose her breath quite easily as her body is on the weaker, often leading to dizziness, fatigue, and even losing consciousness.

For now, she has to touch people to make them sleep. The effect doesn’t fade immediately but the longer she touches someone the longer they sleep. It’s also like they’re taking an actual nap or actually sleeping. When it comes to the amount of people, the time lessens every time she has to use that power. The max she can induce sleep is about 10-12 hours and she can only do one or two people a day (depending on the duration of usage between each person).

As she grows, she will be able to go from touching to using her voice. Right now, she’s training both touch and voice. Of course, speaking will drain her a lot more but she will have a bigger range. For example, she could say something along the lines of “tell me what you see” or “aren’t you feeling tired now?” That could induce some sort of fake vision or hallucination as well as sleep.

[div class=colorbox]WEAPON[/div] Rika's main weapons are her hands (via physical touch) and her voice. She did, however, adopt the bow and arrow because she was forced to have a main weapon as well as two small daggers.

Personality: An angry bean in Demeter's beautiful garden, Aaron is quite the peculiar child. He's known to be introverted, timid and calm, partially due to not being very good with words and struggling to talk to people he doesn't know all too well. Those two flaws combined make him come off as cold and even blunt at times, often accidentally. Once he opens up a bit more to others, though, he tends to become very trusting and more talkative than usual. He values honesty and loyalty highly, meaning that he's someone that can be trusted by his friends to hold secrets and help them when he's needed. Aaron is marked with an odd need of protectiveness that can occasionally shift into possessiveness over another person, mainly because of jealousy and wariness clouding his mind more often than he appreciates.

Though he can be a bit of a frightening presence in the morning or whenever he has a not-so-great mood, Aaron does not really have bad intentions. He's caring and helpful towards those that he takes a liking of, although he sometimes goes to the extreme by being too nurturing and such. This is why some jokingly refer to him as a motherly or fatherly figure, which is probably the fault of Demeter.

Emotion wise, Aaron isn't the most stable person around. Signs of annoyance and irritation are often distributed and vocalized with witty or passive aggressive comments, whereas sadness and anger are often concealed to the best of his capacity. Although struggling to accurately show and talk about his own emotions, he's very empathic and understanding when it comes to those of others. He also rarely allows his emotions to make decisions for him, more often resulting in him searching for logical and rational solutions to a problem. With that said, though, anyone that dares to harm his plants will feel the wrath of a very angry botanist's son.

Backstory:

Up until being claimed by Demeter, Aaron's past had always been very vague to him. The son of a very passionate botanist, Aaron was seemingly born into a love for flowers and nature itself. His early childhood is filled with memories of forest strolls and admiring various plants his father would take home, although the young boy sadly did not see his father all too often. He was a working single father, after all. So Aaron quickly became more accustomed to the face of his nanny rather than that of his father. Aaron eventually started questioning the lack of a mother at a rather young age, originally receiving the answer that she was on a very long trip. Although this little excuse was enough for him when he was still young, it obviously became obsolete as the years went on. The young boy was not one to keep his questions for himself, most of which were unfortunately avoided by his father. One day, however, Aaron's father seemed to have snapped, angrily telling the boy that his mother died soon after his birth. Needless to say that, at the age of 8, such a comment can make quite an impact. And so, he stopped asking for more answers.

It was at the age of 10 that a maternal figure finally entered the family alongside her two daughters. Surprisingly, Aaron somehow managed to get along quite nicely with his soon to be stepmother- and sisters despite their many differences. Life was pretty comfortable and nice around these times, despite not really feeling at home at school. Unfortunately, Happiness didn't seem to last forever, for the first monster attack appeared around the age of 14, soon after the late-bloomer's powers started to develop more clearly. As if his accidental kinetical bending of a rose's stem wasn't scary enough, Aaron was greeted by forces that scared him more than anything he had ever seen in his life. He truthfully feared for his life but had absolutely no clue what was happening. Surely, he was just hallucinating.

One day after, Aaron became even more certain about the thought of hallucinating when he saw some sort of weird goat man stand in front of his door, pleading him to come with him and claiming that he was, in fact, in grave danger. He quickly shouted for his parents, causing the beast to disappear as quickly as it had appeared. That night, however, he could only wish for the return of the weird creature when he found himself attacked once again, this time much more violently and realistic than before. Luckily, the Satyr was there to save him, and Aaron reluctantly followed him to Camp Half-Blood where he would eventually be claimed as a son of Demeter.

Godly Powers: Increased strength and speed, he possesses the same powers every Demigod has. Being a child of Demeter, however, has exclusively granted him the ability to control plant life.

Years of training have strengthened his command over Chlorokinesis. At this point, Aaron is capable of using his power for a multitude of effects, the most predominant being his skill of rapidly accelerating plant growth and being capable of telekinetically manipulating a plant's movement. Although impressive, the range in which he can perform these talents is small and does not have too many uses in combat. At best, he could potentially make an already wonky tree fall over or ensnare opponents in a web of plants, but doing so requires a whole lot of energy and focus. It isn't all too uncommon for Aaron to feel dizzy and exhausted after attempting to control larger or multiple plants, sometimes even resulting in him incapable of properly standing and using his ability for the remainder of the day. He can command singular or very small batches with some ease as long as he focuses, although he still hasn't perfected the use of his power.

One thing he has nearly perfected though is cooking. He's a culinary master, and his cooking is rivalled only by fellow Demeter cabin inhabitants.

Weapon: Though not very good at fighting with it, Aaron uses a celestial bronze spear in combination with his power to somewhat stand his guard. He also carries a small dagger in case of emergencies.

Personality: Eccentric, optimistic and immensely social, Lynne is quite the stereotypical child of Aphrodite. She has an innate need for attention, being immensely gregarious and sometimes coming off as a bit too clingy and pushy. Lynne carries herself with confidence and a curious mind, despite being scared of nearly every animal and especially any bug that crosses her path. Luckily, her innate gifts for persuasion and flirtation make it easy for her to find a brave knight to step upon the vile insects that terrorize her life. Although her overconfidence can sometimes end up being a little annoying, Lynne's worst traits lay within envy and a sassy or sometimes downright rude attitude towards individuals that she does not particularly like. Nevertheless, she does try to be a good friend and proves to be very kind towards pretty much everyone that hasn't hurt her or someone she knows. She's an open book to nearly everyone and is known to welcome newcomers with open arms, as long as it does not scathe her reputation.

Backstory:

Born into a relatively wealthy family, Lynne caused for trouble right from the start. Her birth was.. unwanted to say the least, as the unfortunate man under Aphrodite's spell was, in fact, married. 9 months later, when Lynne was laying on his doorstep, he was no longer. Apparently, his wife had suspicions, and this most definitely did not aid his cause. After the tragedy that is the unfortunate divorce, Lynne's father moved out and lived a stable yet lonely life. The businessman had a rough time raising her alone, but managed to quite quickly fall in love again. This time, his good looks and charming personality had charmed a woman that would end up raising Lynne as a child of her own.

Lynne, despite being tagged with ADHD and Dyslexia, had a good time when she was at home. At school, however, she often found herself feeling very dumb and stupid. Her grades were below average despite the fact that she did her best, and she received a lot of unwanted attention from predominantly boys. This eventually ended up being one of her least concerns, though.

At the age of 11, Lynne experienced the first monster attack that was luckily fended off by a strange individual just in time. Injured and afraid, Lynne decided to blindly trust the man and to follow him to a destination where it was said she'd be safe. This luckily proved to be true, since Lynn has been living her life at camp Half-Blood ever since.

Godly Powers: The usual Demigod abilities paired up with a very rare trait that she has grown very fond of. Aside from having the few little quirks given by Aphrodite such as fluency in French and natural beauty, Lynne has the ability to use Charmspeak. This power is a type of hypnotism or persuasion in which it allows the speaker to convince someone else to do or get whatever they want. The strength of the command depends on the tone and the emotion of Lynne's voice, with more emotion often making the ability more successful. Eventually, charmspeak wears off and the person has no recollection of why they did what they were commanded to do.

Charmspeak can be negated through a number of ways. It has a diminished effect on other charmspeakers, and people with strong wills or intentions are unaffected. Additionally, if someone is aware of Lynne's ability to charmspeak, then it will have a reduced effect as they will be on guard in case they are the subject to it. Also, beings of the same gender tend to have some resistance to it.

Lynne, whose powers developed months after entering camp half-blood, has grown pretty used to using Charmspeak. Although she is most definitely not a pro at doing so, she can still use it to command people around to some degree. The ability doesn't often take effect on people that already know she has it, unless she manages to catch people off guard. Oftentimes, Lynne can only cause for minor effects, although an unsuspecting victim might be persuaded to do a little more. It also takes quite a bit of energy, making it hard for Lynne to repeatedly use this ability on a day. It is also safe to say that most demigods won't be directly commanded by her powers, but instead feel very inclined to do as she asked unless it thoroughly goes against their own thoughts and ideas.

Weapon: Wields a common combination of a celestial bronze sword and shield. She isn't very fond of the shield since it's too heavy for her taste. It does make her look cool, though.

Her stubborn nature appears in most aspects of her life, and it can be hard to sway her opinions or make her do something she personally decided she won't. She tends to not show her emotions either, as Jordan is reserved and perhaps due in part to her inferiority complex. She doesn't want to bother others with her problems.

Jordan also gets easily frustrated when things don't go the way she planned, but she will still tirelessly work towards that goal. Her determined and headstrong exterior can be off putting to many, and she can seem uptight. Despite this, Jordan is witty and humorous and can enjoy a good time, and is known to be quite daring and playful. People are often surprised by her kindness and caring attitude that seems it wouldn't exist, but she does her best to show it to everyone, though not to the extent she does her friends. So in order to see how deep her kind streak goes, she must care about someone and trust them deeply - something Jordan struggles with.

She is naturally inclined to understand how to use a weapon, but that does not mean she will be capable of using it effectively. Jordan also has photographic memory and an innate ability to weave despite never practicing the skill.

background;; Jordan was handed over to her father by Athena, and whilst he lost the intelligent woman he fell in love with, his heart was captivated by the baby she gifted him. The Spanish man called the child Jordan. It was just her and her father, and that was fine with her. In every way, her life was normal.

But then Jordan's father found another woman to love. And that woman had one child of her own, three years younger than Jordan. The couple quickly married by the time Jordan was 10, and her step-mother managed to sway the attention towards her child, as well as their new born twins that arrived a month after the marriage. Obviously, Jordan was still clothed, fed and loved, but much of the new couple's time was focused on her step-siblings instead. The young female quickly found the best way to get more attention from them was to get glaringly good marks, and she also found it quite easy to excel.

It was at 11 that her first monster attack came, when she was in a car with her father, who luckily, has the ability to see through the Mist. After narrowly escaping with their lives, her father immediately told her about the truth of her birth mother. Once she arrived at camp, Jordan has never felt happier, knowing that she would be capable of defending herself and her father if they ever got attacked again. In her times away from camp, Jordan constantly tries to get closer to her step-siblings and mother.

Camp Half-Blood is very much her home now, and due to how involved her siblings are with investigating and helping with the plague, many of them are in quarantine or have passed. Jordan is now, reluctantly, counselor of the Athena cabin and actively trying to figure out what is going wrong. It's a miracle she hasn't got infected yet.
