Zelda took her time drinking from her flask, raising a finger at the man who had demanded an explaination without any sass. She was about to dish him up exactly that when the bandaged cop butted in, giving the three of them a lecture on what was currently happening in Gotham. Zelda rolled her eyes and kept her mouth shut. She knew if she spoke, the cop would most likely recognise her voice and arrest her. She was being invesitgated for that string of murders and they would just love to throw her in the slammer, she knew it. As another character appeared, Zelda could only frown in annoyance.
"Typ-Typical... You try doing good and get fuck all. I'm not even a vigilante. Maybe I just don-don't to be not-noticed." she grumbled quietly, looking towards the thugs. Why did she even come down here? She was going to go to bed before seeing this happening. She was done with trying to help people. Or she would be if she didn't have the burden of knowing that Henry would never forgive her if she stopped.

She kept quiet for a while, until the bandaged woman, Emma mentioned how both she and the other suited woman were "batman wannabes" something that triggered something in the woman. She glared at her as she also seemed put off at the fact that she had not killed the thugs.
"...Lemme set something straight, Titankhamun. I'm doing this for myself, not some weirdo in a batsuit." she growled as she went for her flask again. "Besides, why do you pigs need Batman in the first place? Isn't it your fucking job to stop criminals? All you seem to-to do is target people without ev-evidence!" Picking up her hoverboard she looked at them with a glare.

"I'll do your jo-job for you." She grumbled (flipping them off at the same time) as she stood on the thing before kicking off of the ground. What she had planned was to simply head back up into her apartment but instead of that, the board seemed to slip up from under her feet, causing her to fall backwards into the dumpster she had thrown one of the thugs in before. She let out a groan as she tried to get up but couldn't. Just... Great... she just felt her lights go out. No doubt she was going to wake up in a jail cell...

At the moment when Doctor Crane heard his cell door begin to creak, he'd been in a middle of a less-than-engaging chapter of Sapiens: A History of Humankind. While the book had made a truly valiant effort to involve the importance of fear in evolution and human history, it wasn't nearly so subtle in reality. Not helping was the triteness of the writing that would only have impressed a true novice. Besides, more interesting events were about to unfold, if Crane's time keeping was still to be trusted.

He placed the book down on his cell bed, and sat up. It would certainly be there for him to finish when he returned; almost no one else in this circus they called a mental hospital had picked up a book in their lives. Least of all the supposed psychiatric professionals. Crane got to his feet and approached the door, peering down to try and see what was happening within the lock. It was too dark to see with the naked eye, but Crane had an idea of what would happen. The growth process would be spe exponentially, and without the typical necessary elements, sunlight, water, soil. A most unusual phenomenon that Isley was able to induce. He would have liked to see a slower demonstration of the particular process that made the seeds grow so suddenly, perhaps even film it for later study. Seeing as Isley was less-than-likely to be amiable to that idea, however, Crane took his gift horse as it came.

The lock snapped open as the plant exploded from within. His salvation from something as simple as an apple seed. Crane knew that there had to be some poetry in that, but he'd rarely paid any mind to his required English classes.

Instead of stepping out immediately, however, Crane decided to bide his time. Surely enough, alarms began blaring not long after the lock broke, and a gaggle of guards stormed straight past his cell to get further into the asylum. Crane chuckled to himself. Interesting, the way they feared supposed "high security" patients over himself. It only proved how little control they all had on their fear, and how that distorted their judgment. Fools.

He waited patiently as minutes stretched on, until, at last, he heard telltale gunshots coming closer and closer. Only when he saw Dent with Ivy and - to Crane's dismay - Joker in tow, did he finally push his door open and join the fast-moving group.

"Good evening, all," he greeted. "I take it everything is going well?"

"Bugger me...ye can sense the sexual frustration from where I'm standin'...you two oughta get a room when this is all over..."
Jamie said, as glanced from the dumpster the women in the hood was in and the so-called police officer. The man wasen't exactly smiling or chuckling, but mentally he was. A moment later, Jamie decided to go over to where he dropped his bag and promptly picked it up, strapping it around his shoulder.
"Aight, I'll come alone, but I ain't diggin' that mess out of the trash...an' long as this dosen't take too long... I've got somewhere to be, an' I'm already late." Jamie said, as he turned about to face the police. "*Sign* An' I thought things would be quieter around here in America...then again, I' should of expected betta... you Americans were always been a crazy lot, no offense."
"Now I've 'eard that you Americans have always had trouble with crime, but I neva imagined it would be..." The Brit said, as he first looked to the criminals lined up against the wall, then to the dumpster, then finally to the burnt women. "...all this...reckon you don't get many tourists. eh?"

Poison Ivy

Freedom!

The chaos of Arkham Asylum's hallways suited Ivy's temperament perfectly. These men, lording over her with their minuscule positions of power, frightened now that Gaia had proven She cannot be contained. Of course, even in the barren hallways of Gotham's most infamous rehabilitation facility, there was little to work with. They'd long since learned not to brighten the place with even a potted plant. But that didn't change her own essential physiology. And while Arkham possessed biohazard suits that limited her options further, none of these guards had the wherewithal to think of suiting up in them before trying to contain the madness.

When the first came at her, she simply sidestepped his charge and brushed one hand in a caress along his neck. Poison Ivy left him gargling on the floor, coughing continuously as his body fought the toxin she'd inflicted. The next seized her by the arms. So she spit in his face. Decidedly lacking in dignity but no less effective than her kisses were and she was free a second later as he lost the ability to stand. By the time Poison Ivy reached the main corridor where the Joker and Two-Face had gathered, she'd shed her prison uniform and once more manifested the foliage she used to accommodate human conceptions of modesty. Conceptions she'd long since grown past but, paradoxically, it was much easier to seduce men when barely clothed than when wearing no clothes at all.

Upon arriving, Poison Ivy gave Joker and Two-Face a cordial nod. "Harvey," she greeted the man with the next step in the escape plan. The Joker had already moved down the hallway and she saw no reason to pretend to politeness with that kind of insanity. "I see my part of the plan worked. Deadshot should already have opened us an escape route out. Is your part of this plan ready?"

She stiffened slightly at his threats. Her green eyes narrowed. Then the armed guards arrived, prompting a more immediate response. Joker had found a pistol somewhere and she felt satisfaction that the Clown Prince was useful, at least. Despite his threats, Poison Ivy opted to stick close to Two-Face and his shot gun. He provided the most immediate protection and he was her ride out of here. For her part, she watched his back. Guns were beneath her, of course. But what she lacked in range, she made up for in effectiveness whenever a guard came too close.

As the three cleared the next hallway, a cell door next to her opened to reveal the Scarecrow. "Doctor Crane," she said, tilting her head slightly in acknowledgement, remembering that he tended to prefer that address from his peers (as opposed to his victims). "Quite well, thank you. About as expected." Poison Ivy regally surveyed the carnage that Arkham's prisoners had left in their wake and gave a pleased nod. "To be honest, the level of service I've received at this establishment is beneath my standards and no longer satisfies me. I believe I'll take my business elsewhere. If you're looking for other accommodations as well, you might as well come with."

It wasn't exactly compassion that moved her to extend the offer. For one, Scarecrow was as insane as the Joker or Two-Face but he was at least capable of having a reasonable conversation that didn't end with his personalities arguing or insane, maniacal cackling. For another, he was one more body to put between herself and anyone who tried to stop them.

Instead, Poison Ivy pointed down the next corridor as the foursome cleared the rest of this hall. "There's the stairwell. Deadshot should be waiting for us at the bottom. Let's not keep him waiting."

Emma turned around at the sound of a recognisable voice, somewhat pleased that her new partner was so responsive. It was a good sign. "Ah.. Detective Carver, lovely. Glad you could make it here so quick. Just a couple of thugs, all currently unconscious, no injuries on anyone from what I can tell." she stated to him as she finished off placing the last of the KO'd men against the wall. "Don't suppose you have several pairs of handcuffs on you?" the bandaged police woman asked, neglecting to tell him to lower his firearm simply because she didn't quite trust any of those still present, before turning to the others present in the little alleyway meeting once more.

"Not a vigilante? Were you just on your way to a fancy-dress party then?" M chuckled, giving the red-wonder a slightly-surprised look with nothing but her eyes, taking on a stable posture as she spread her legs out and held her hands behind her back in a militaristic fashion. "I also see that you are drunk, You should be careful on your way home, which I do hope is where you are planning to go next." Emma scolded with a smug from beneath the white fabrics. "Titankhamun..? What are you, a child? This is Gotham, not the playground my dear, we need batman because we need all the help we can get, yes it's our job to protect the city, and that's what we do, but we aren't sufficiently funded to deal with maniac using super powers, so good luck doing our job for us. We have neither the resources or the people to deal with such threats, and I fail to see how we target people without evidence. How is this relevant..? Wait a moment... Aren't you wanted?" Elizabeth pondered as she glared at semi-unconscious woman, aggravated by her words before the woman simply tumbled into the nearby dumpster.

"Sir, I am a police woman, not a prostitute. I wouldn't bed that woman if she paid me." Emma growled verbally at the only non-police male in the area. "The trip will be quick, just need to get some details and you'll be out of the station again." the detective reassured before heading to her partner's car. "Gotham is dangerous, visitors are rare, the 'supernatural' is frequent and yes, sometimes it gets a little crazy." she said curtly to the non-American before turning to her partner once more. "Forget about the drunk, she helped us out today and I don't think your car can fit that many people anyway, we'll have to put some of the thugs in the trunk, they're unconscious anyway." Emma whispered to her partner before turning around once more and beginning the arduous task of dragging fully-grown men to the black mustang

D20
Gotham National Bank, April 24th, 23:57

Walking and being pushed around had woken D20 up a little bit.""My daddy said once 'If you don't make a choice, the choice makes you'" 1, so I'll choose, and my choice is "I will not stand idly by while a dragon burns my hold and slaughters my people!" 2 No Dice. Lock me up for all I care, I'm uh not selling out my subordinates so you can crumble an empire and arrest all my men. Besides, with me out of the picture for a bit, D12 would be more than happy to risk killing civilians to get you off his back. Somebody has to be there to keep D12 in check" D20 chuckles and looks up to a security camera in the corner of the room. "I love you guys, you're great, but can you, like, not? I feel like I'm walking on eggshells here." It was a lucky guess, but half the city away, D6-7 closed the program he was using, mildly surprised. Audio was off by default. He must've turned it on by accident.

Batman
Gotham National Bank, April 24th, 23:58

Batman turned when she pointed out something in the camera. Spyware? They were watching. The Batcomputer had access to most public, private, and closed, secure grids in the city's web infrastructure. That included all of Blackgate systems - hacking them was excessively easy - especially since the city didn't have much anything against him having access to the system.

Batman pressed the buttons on his left wrist's keyboard and started tracking the connection. It took less than a decisecond.

Once it was done, the Batcomputer's program automatically planted a smart trojan rootkit in the attacker's system and took over the sysadmin permissions. Nothing short of changing the hard drive or a factory reset would wipe the virus.

He turned back to D20, pondering.

No one should be this calm when arrested, but she seemed to be unnaturally so - probably a result of getting away with everything since she was little. She was spoiled, he presumed. Difficult people call for difficult measures.

"If you don't talk, I'll do it my way."

Batman stood up, walked around the table and forcefully took off her helmet, throwing it to the ground.

He stared at her face intently, slightly surprised by her young age. Alas, it took the Batcomputer two seconds to find a matching face in the database. Her entire registry, from the date of birth, to her criminal record, the schools she went to, popped up on his heads-up display.

"Natalie Viginti. D-Twenty. A criminal record the size of a small novel. Became the leader of Dice," he read out, as if drawing upon knowledge from an open book. Then he spoke to her more directly, "I have everything on you here. Who should I question first? Your mother is still alive, if I'm correct..."

He raised his left wrist and pressed a few buttons in a short sequence. A second passed and he exclaimed, "I have her address. I'll pay her a visit later. Let her know how problematic you've been." He bookmarked the address and added it to a bullet list of things to take care of.

"Before that. I'll have to take care of Dice. You already gave me the location." He gave one last look at the camera.

"I'm not drunk!" Zelda protested from the dumpster, "I'm just... jolly!" she growled afterwards. Why did everyone jump to the conclusion that she had a problem? It was just an effective way of keeping her nerves steady. She sat up in the dumpster, rubbing her head as she looked back to the woman who was now having a go at her for her "Titankhamun" comment.
"It's called a joke, sweetheart, nothing says it has to be clever." she grumbled, annoyed by the woman's smug aura. She was also alarmed by the woman's question as to whether or not she was wanted by the police. Shit!

"..." Unable to control her action, the woman reached for her tranq gun and fired it in the woman's direction, (as she dragged the thugs into the car) missing her entirely and whizzing past into a wall. Zelda blinked with wide eyes. Great... The woman just stared as she told the non-American man about Gotham. She just rolled her eyes. Why didn't she just leave this place? All it did was cause her pain at this point. The only thing that kept her here was the knowledge that Henry was in the city with Mark. She did not care about Mark anymore, but he mattered. Since she had just attempted to shoot the officer with her tranq gun, the woman just sighed and put her hands out.
"Alright... do it. You know you wanna." she grumbled, totally giving up.

D12
Gotham National Bank, April 24th, 23:58

D12 was currently on a pay phone, with a D4. "Knowing Batman, that remark probably gave away your location. Now do you understand why I have you using a laptop on Starbucks' wi-fi?" The D4 responded, "Sir, what do we do about the laptop?" "Start the process of wiping it and then run like hell. Or hit it with any blunt objects on you, that would work as well." He then hung up the pay phone, immediately making a call on his VEM. "D8-A, are you there? Ah, good. Everything's working as intended so far. Everything's working as planned so far. Okay, I'm gonna need you to start Operation Bat Insurance and alert D8-B and D8-Γ in Blackgate that D20's there, but not to break her out. She played the part perfectly, but we can't afford the bat getting more suspicious than he already is. I'll be in contact soon. Adeiu."

And with that, D12 walked off into the night.

Emma whirled around at the sound of something whistling on by, before noticing the outstretched gun that the person she had just told she'd give break for helping and not arrest them holding it. "D-did you just fire at me?" Emma asked as she stared incredulously at the drunk in the bin. "I don't 'want to' you lunatic. What I want is to go for a walk and not deal with a bunch of criminals, one of which is DRUNK ENOUGH TO FIRE AT A POLICE OFFICER THAT WAS GIVING THEM A CHANCE" Emma growled as her anger built up, walking aggressively towards the woman before grabbing one of her outstretched hands and pulling her straight out of the bin onto the ground before her in a less than polite manner. "Sit there and think about what you've done, I've decided to retract my offer of giving you a break." Detective M hissed before heading back and pulling the last of the men into the car. "Psychopath.." She muttered under her breath as she proceeded to take the drunk into the car, handcuffing her in the process and placing her with all the other unconscious thugs, before settling in the driver's seat and angrily opening the door for the one person that was either not drunk, or not unconscious. "Please enter the vehicle." she told the foreigner before falling in a very, very aggressive silence

Catwoman
Arkham Island April 24/25th

Unfortunately, and for whatever reason, it seemed that Batgirl had been lost behind. What a shame. It was going to be a great girl's night out too, but things happened. At least she got to keep the statue.

Catwoman, with great finesse, landed atop her Catcycle with ease, and began to cruise through the city, the wind pouring across her suit. As her motorcycle's wheels scorched the ground beneath her, she noticed a large bridge ahead of her. Good old Arkham Asylum. Catwoman had been sent there a few times, courtesy of a certain man in black, but she was slippery enough to evade capture most of the time. Unlike a few of the other inmates, who she had criminal connections to in the past.

One thing was troubling though- and that was a crap ton of gunfire and glowing lights occurring across the bridge.

Drive on, Selina, the less caring part of her angrily hissed. You know that institute sucks hard. Don't give a cat's ass about it.

Selina did not take that voice's advice. She grabbed the green cat statue and looked towards the green-eyed black cat on the back of her motorbike. "Isis, go." The cat leaped off the edge of the seat and bounded into the darkness.

She parked her Catcycle by the other side of the bridge and started to cross. She soon found several dead bodies were laying by the gates to the facility. She noticed the perfect bullet marks that pierced their skulls. That wasn't the work of the Joker for sure, as maniacal as the man was, nor Two-Face or Penguin, both of whom, while talented, were not sufficient marksmen to be able to hit headshots that easily. None of the other nutjobs there- Harley, Ivy, Freeze, Firefly- used conventional weaponry. From that, she deduced that an outside source was involved.

See, she could be Batman too.

Using her whip, she expertly grappeled up onto a hidden ledge of the facility, hopefully out of view of whatever mercenaries were storming the facility. She grabbed her phone. At the very least she would get her Batman time. She quickly dialed the number that she had stolen from Batman a few years back.

"Is this the darling Batman?"

Poison Ivy

As Catwoman called up the Caped Crusader, Poison Ivy was the first to step out of Arkham Asylum's main doors. Long since shed of her inmate uniform, the redhead was back to wearing virtually nothing but a barely-there bikini made of leaves that...well, were probably grown out of her skin since the Asylum certainly didn't have any plants inside after the last time she'd weaponized them. In her wake come a pair of slightly glazed Arkham Security Guards, each packing an assault rifle, each watching Ivy's flanks in case of trouble. Knowing Poison Ivy, likely seduced by her pheromones delivered via a kiss.

Outcries and gunfire continued inside the looming facility as she walked briskly from the scene of battle. Down the street lay the unsecured gates to the Arkham propery entire, and across the street was parking. Gesturing to one of the guards, she snapped her fingers before lifting a palm up. Understanding at once, one guard fished in his pocket and produced a set of keys which he promptly put in her hand. Undeterred by the ongoing conflict and indifferent to the bodies Deadshot had left in his wake, Poison Ivy made for the exit, a waiting car beyond and then freedom.

Literally Batman Literally Batman
OOC: If Catwoman has any intention on stopping Poison Ivy (or even just conversing with her), she's entirely free to intercept Ivy at any point. While Ivy's on alert for ambush, she's hardly a match for Catwoman's ability to be sneaky after all. I'm also assuming a reasonably friendly relationship based on their mutual background, though I'm happy to change that up if you'd like to discuss further in the Discord (or the OOC thread or PMs, if anyone actually uses those).

Batman
Blackgate Island > City Hall District

After he was done with the interrogation, he traced the location of the computer to a nearby Starbucks. Perhaps the gang members thought they were being clever, but Starbucks has cameras like any retail businesses and Batman was confident in the Batcomputer's facial recognition.

Notwithstanding, he would need direct access, as the Starbucks isn't connected to the city's web infrastructure. This meant going there de facto and using the cryptographic sequencer to ram into their security system. Then, he'd connect the camera system and the work gets easy from there.

If cross-referencing the identity of anyone inside with known Dice members doesn't bring anything up, he'd simply look at the time of the recording and look out for anyone who disconnected from the network at a very specific time. Perhaps the virus would help in this.

And from there, it only gets easier, as he simply has to track the gang member in person and extract information from him. The path is already laid out, and nearly assured to bring up results, all he has to do is to wrap it up.

As he fell into step in the direction of the Batmobile, Batman received an outside call, which his heads-up displayed informed him was from somewhere in Arkham and from a person he had very mixed feelings about.

Batman jabbed the button on the communicator.

"What is it?" He was concise and to the point, but the words came out a little more softly and passively than the usual gruff voice he put on. Getting distracted right now would be unfortunate. He had to keep his thinking in line with what he was doing, or he'd slip up.

The Batmobile's engine revved brutally as it blasted off at high speed in the direction of Uptown.

Catwoman
Arkham Island

The sweet, gruff sounds that was Batman echoed into her ear. "Listen, Brucie," she hissed into the phone, hardly more than a whisper, certainly not audible above the sounds of chaos in the facility. "I'm sure you're busy doing...Bat-stuff right now, but there's a bit of a...full-blown breakout going on at Gotham's resident loony bin right now." She looked down to see the scantily-clad supervillainess walking out of the facility. "Complete with a certain flowery friend, if you get the gist."

Her feline eyes looked down at ivy. They'd had their ups and downs, she supposed, but they'd parted last time on good terms. To be honest, Catwoman didn't mind if Ivy got away. She was a bit aggressive, but she wasn't mentally delusional like the others. Also, her plants had helped a tough break-in more than once before.

The other wackjobs at Arkham were less helpful, and a lot more murder-y. Not to say Poison ivy wasn't crazy, but she'd had scrapes way too close with the other patients there.

For now, Catwoman simply sat on her hidden ledge, phone pressed against her head, waiting to see what Batman said.

Deadshot
Arkham Island

Emerging soon after red-head flower chick, Deadshot stepped out. He had weakened the systems of Arkham enough to make striding out a task as easy as could be. He soon noticed that Ivy, his contractor, had left the facility. Seemed the plan had went swimmingly. Deadshot approached Poison Ivy carefully. The girl had a bit of an anti-human streak, so he watched his step.

"'Ey, Ivy." His voice seemed a hair robotic and deeper from behind the mask. "Seems everything worked out." He glanced around the facility. "A job well done if you ask me."

His singer red eye suddenly locked onto a straggling Arkham guard on sight. With a single fluent motion, he turned and fired a shot at a metal gate. The bullet ricocheted off, spiraling into the poor man's head.

"There we go. Oh! I forgot." Deadshot quickly reached back into his backpack, and procured a small potted Venus flytrap. "Picked this up for you. Heard you liked plants."

Partially a sarcastic joke, Deadshot also knew how much damage Ivy could do with a plant. If shit hit the fan, that medium-sized potted plant could be gobbling cop cars with the right care.

Batman
City Hall District > Starbucks Shop > East End

Instantly, the Batmobile's brakes screeched, as it drifted right on the nearest crossing instead of going in its original destination, which was straight on.

There was a clear change in his tone. His comparatively delicate tone became somber as he said, "I'll be there in two minutes."

He changed channels.

Why? This was called learning. See, last time there was a mass breakout in Arkham, the night concluded with a lot of fatigue, and even more spinal surgery to compensate for the damage. This time, Batman intended to call on all available resources. And that meant all available resources.

He started pressing buttons to activate small tracker drones in the Clock Tower and sent them through the city, integrating them with the city's public camera system to maximize their ability to track whatever lunatics escaped. As he did this, he spoke to the channel he just opened,

"This is Batman, to anyone available - that includes you, Damian. There's been a mass breakout at Arkham."

He hated to say the next sentence, but unfortunately, he had to if the night was to end without serious risk of severe self-injury. "I request..." he interjected the sentence with a sigh, "I request ...assistance."

James instinctively ducked at the sound of the tranquilizer discharging, as he watched the tranquilizer dart fly into the wall.
The man took a minute to observe the projectile in the wall, before looking back at the women in the dumpster with a "Are-you-daft?" kinda of look.
"Jolly drunk is what you are." James muttered under his breath, as he stood there shaking his head, causally observing the mummified police officer storm to the dumpster and drag the drunk women out. "...well, least here and Glasgow has somthing in common...lunatics everywhere..."
After the police officer finished piling the lot of people into her car(which Jamie could only marvel at it's capacity to fit so many people), the man stepped over to the otherside of the police car, peering into the open doorway.
"Are you certain we're not going to capsize with this many people? Shouldn't you be calling for a police van or somthing?
Despite the Brit's uncertainty, he nevertheless got in the front of the police car, buckling his seatbelt before taking a good minute to observe his current situation.

"Well take care..." Lucas said as he watch the women appearance into the night. The young man then pocketed his hands and looked back up to the night sky, unable to supress a smirk. "...if I had a dime ever time I heard that one...probably have enough to buy a candy bar...or somthing..."
The young man didn't have much time to ponder on the thought before he felt his phone vibrating with a certain...jingle, which caused Luke to raise an eyebrow and chuckle.
"Hehe...and I thought that was all the fun I was going to have tonight..." Luke chuckled to himself, as he took out the phone and opened it. "...so who will I be seeing to...Batman?"
That can't be good. Luke thought to himself, as he opened up the broadcast and listened...his smile had quickly disappeared. If Batman's asking for help...somthing big must be going on...better not keep him waiting
Luke activated a button on his phone. The next few moments was Luke jogging over to a empty alleyway, quickly disappearing into the darkness. Moments later, what sounded like a miniature jet engine approached, as a black blur dropped into the same alleyway...another few moment later, two glowing blue eyes appeared from the shadows, followed by a glowing blue bat symbol appear right underneath it....though the glowing icon would barly remain, as it blasted upwards into the night sky.
Batwing had finally taken to the skies of Gotham once more.

Two-Face
Arkham Asylum, April 25th
"DIE! DIE! DIE! YOU SONS OF BITCHES!"
The sound of someone yelling echoed from behind Ivy, followed by the sounds of what seemed to be a firefight.
Moments later, a few of the inmates armed with firearms emerged from the entrance, followed by Two-Face with his back turned from the entrance. Harvey apparently decided to discard his shotgun to one of his henchmen in favor of dual handguns, one of Two-Face's signature weapons. On the note of henchmen, while Ivy had decided to go on ahead, Two-Face had decided to stop by some of the "low-level" inmates and liberate them from their cells, before breaking into the prison armory and arming themselves with whatever weapons they could find. Now Two-Face's henchmen were covering their bosses retreat, as Two-Face fired a few more shots back into the prison, before turning to face Ivy and Deadshot.
"Well, well...Deadshot...a pleasure to finally meet your aquantince...you have quite the reputation, hope Ivy's paying you well..." Two-Faced then looked over at the potted planet that Deadshot was currently holding, and growled. "The fuck is that?"

Robin landed softly on the damp sidewalk, watching as the mist swirled around him. It puffed into existence as night fell, swooping around and enveloping the city like a massive blanket. The great city of Gotham was still; its citizens wisely preferred to stay indoors at night. They feared the fog and the criminals shrouded within. But most of all, they feared the Bat, which instilled more fear than any gangbanger could ever hope to achieve. Robin slipped forward quietly, senses alert. He peeked around ever corner, back always facing the wall, his hand never leaving his scabbarded sword. Some called him paranoid, but Robin merely thought himself prepared. Either way, his habit had saved his life on numerous occasions.

He approached a quiet street corner and peeked out. He found that without Batman, he never looked quite as powerful. Slight of frame and barely four-and-a-half feet tall, with dark hair and olive skin, he knew he had an almost frail look about him.

He liked that. It subverted the enemy's expectations.

He also liked the night. During the day, Gotham was crowded and confining despite its size, but at night, the fog fell like a shroud -- shading and softening. Towering skyscrapers became shadowed mountains and apartment lights melted together like burning candles. Robin crouched beside his building, still watching the intersection before him, waiting silently. Nothing moved. Eventually, he shook his head, glancing around in the darkness. Maybe I was wrong, he thought. Maybe I'm not being followed. The acknowledgement disappointed him somewhat. He'd been looking forward to testing his steel on the Faceless Man tonight. He still didn't know who he was. The first time he'd seen him, Robin had mistaken him for an assassin. And maybe he was. He seemed to be displaying very little interest in Robin -- and a whole lot of interest in Batman.

Robin's headset buzzed with a call from Father.

"This is Batman, to anyone available - that includes you, Damian. There's been a mass breakout at Arkham."

A smirk found its way to Robin's lips. Finally, the Bat was ready to acknowledge his better half.

"This is Robin, reporting for duty. I'm on my way.'

When Dent didn't return his courtesy greeting, Crane merely rolled his eyes. He wasn't sure what else he expected. It wasn't important anyway. He followed the two of them to the exit of the Asylum wordlessly.

Ivy went first, of course. She would have the least trouble of all of them crossing, and Crane followed her at a safe distance. He was glad for the strength that surrounded him; without his chemicals, he was largely bidden to psychological tactics, or whatever weapons he had at his disposal. Fortunately, he saw no need to find any weapons just yet. All he had to do was fly be unthreatening and potentially useful to earn his ticket to fleeting freedom. He joined Ivy and the newcomer, Deadshot, after a moment.

"Hello," Crane greeted, again, with a courteous detachment. He glanced to the fly trap. "I see all went well."

Harvey came not long after, followed by a new gaggle of low-lifes, presumably from the low security sections of Arkham. Wonderful, more thoughtless minions who didn't so much as have the gift of loyalty, at the cost of precious timejok. Crane could only be glad that he didn't suffer from the crippling insanity and stupidity that Dent did.

Crane typically had to resist rolling his eyes when Dent spoke, but he didn't resist as Dent questioned the plant. A plant near Poison Ivy, for goodness sake. How a person could have so little ability to put two and two together baffled Crane.

"Use your brain, Harvey, more than one half at a time, please," he chided. "If the seeds in a lock can do so much damage, surely Pamela has some use for a full plant. A carnivorous plant, I may add."

Seems the mummified woman did not appreciate her easily giving herself up. What else did this woman want!? As she snarled about her shooting a weapon at her, Zelda gritted her teeth in annoyance. It was not a lethal weapon what the hell was this bitch's problem? She didn't have to throw her on the ground like that. Wait... yeah she did. That's what she deserved. From what Zelda knew, she deserved every bad thing that has happened to her to happen.

"Don't care. As long as it gets me in the chair faster. Or injected. Or how-ever you lot kill 'criminals'. Here let me on my board and I'll do it for you, saves the tax money." she grumbled as she felt herself being thrown into the car alongside the thugs. She glanced back at the woman she continued to berate her. "Even if it did hit, it's empty. And I don't want your fucking sympathy!" she grumbled. Maybe she should have just shot herself. It was not like she was going to be able to sleep tonight anyway, it was obvious she would be sick as a dog for the next week.

As the Brit entered the car and questioned if this was a regular occurrence, the woman sighed and put her forehead against the cold window, staring out of it blankly. She did not want to answer, knowing she'd probably get knocked out or something. Good thing Mark could not see this. He would have a freaking field day with this...

The beautiful, nearly naked redhead came to a stop upon being addressed. Slowly, her head came around and she twisted slightly to look behind her. Green eyes narrowed at the sight of Deadshot before she finally turned all the way. Just when she was in the midst of a perfectly good escape! Arkham's other inmates had been useful getting her this far but they'd lagged behind, mostly to indulge their homicidal urges. A shame they were all utterly insane, as they'd proven to be otherwise highly resourceful. But dallying here would almost certainly draw the Rodent's attention and she had no wish to be apprehended by Batman again.

Then again, it was Deadshot and he'd made this escape possible. Besides which, she owed him money. Poison Ivy didn't much for, or about, money but she did care about keeping her word. A deal was a deal.

"A job very well done," Poison Ivy said, returning his greeting with an appreciative nod, even a small smile. "You played your part perfectly. You'll be well rewarded for this." When the man executed another guard, the redhead grimaced only because of the sudden unexpected noise of the mercenary's gun.

That grimace vanished immediately when he placed a Venus flytrap in her hands. A flytrap! She had a dozen in her favorite arboretum but they were otherwise difficult to transport and use in the field. The possibilities immediately made her feel better about her odds here. Smiling gratefully, she rubbed the Venus flytrap's head and the plant abruptly flowered in full, doubling in size, its 'head' now reaching up to nuzzle her affectionate fingertip. "I do," she said, turning that smile on the mercenary. "Very much so. Now, I think it's past time we-"

Two-Face's harsh shouting and liberal use of guns interrupted her train of thought and she sighed. At least the man had brought more help with him. Armed help too. Very nice. So when he moved to join them, her smile didn't slip even as she shifted her focus from the mercenary to the madman. "I am," she agreed, commenting on the compensation she'd offered Deadshot. When the scarred man growled at her plant, Poison Ivy simply chuckled and stroked the Venus flytrap's head, causing it to swell to nearly bursting from its pot. "A present for me. Something beautiful. And probably very useful, if we're not gone from here. Now."

Crane's arrival merited a nod, though her patience grew short. When making an escape from Arkham Asylum, it didn't do to mingle outside like tourists lining up outside of an attraction. "All went well," Ivy echoed Crane's remarks, nodding agreeably. "I think it's time we left, don't you think, Doctor?"

Her eyes shifted to the road. If Two-Face had indeed arranged transportation, it should be here right about now. If not...well, there was always Arkham prison vans and she'd captivated two of the Asylum's guards so she had their cars for a more discreet exit as well.

Emma elected not to dignify the drunk woman with any form of a response as she took to driving, staring at the road with a sense of determination and anger that seemed to infer that the asphalt had done something terribly wrong. "Most nights yes." Emma growled at him bitterly, her mood completely and utterly soured as she drove swiftly through the streets, her hands gripping the steering wheel with strength that could be heard ever so slightly by the sounds of fabric being crushed against metal, causing a small aches to rise up from her hands all the way up to her arms, but she said nothing and made no complaint as the adrenaline seemed to cancel out whatever pain she was experiencing. The streets of gotham whirled by with Emma at the wheel, making their way straight for the station, yet on their way there, suddenly a phone rang. Emma's phone.

The burnt police-woman pulled over before picking it up and answering, sliding the small device out from her pocket. It was to be noted that the phone was of an older, sturdier design, lacking any of the modern technology, as though whatever had been cheapest and most practical had been the first to be purchased. "Uhuh.. Uhuh.. Yeah... Alright, I'm on my way." The conversation went, taking up a matter of seconds before the dark-haired detective returned the phone to its pocket and began driving much more speedily towards a new destination. "Change of plans, there appears to be a mess up at Arkham Asylum, we're heading there first." Emma explained as the flashing lights of other cars were drowned out by the sound of the detective's sirens after she flicked a small switch on. "I'll deal with you two once we get there." Emma growled stoicly as she returned to her grim, annoyed silence, focusing on the road and making it clear that she did not want to be disturbed.

"'Off-duty' I'm supposed to be" M muttered to herself as she pulled up in-front of the large complex of various buildings, Arkham Asylum. Her bandaged hand opened a hidden compartment in the car and pulled out a pistol as she hopped out of the car, flicking off the siren as she did so before staring up at the building. "Now then... Who am I going to have to arrest today?" Detective Sinclair asked the cold air around her, pondering what sort of criminal activity could be going on this day.

Zelda kept very silent during the journey, stuck in her thoughts. The momentum of the car made the woman feel ill. She wished she had just been smart and stayed home. It was not like she could change anything now. She only came to her senses when the grumpy policewoman suddenly talked about taking a detour to Arkham Asylum. Did she hear that right? Her memory flashed back to the file she had found on Prof. Hugo Strange and its mention of the facility. Maybe... if she could get out of these cuffs, she could find out more. If she could get out of these cuffs...

Once the car stopped, Emma stepped out to assess the situation. As she left, Zelda glanced around before moving her hands down to get a lockpick from her trouser pocket. All she could do was hold it in her mouth as she fiddled around in an attempt to open the handcuffs. She kept glancing outside to see where Emma was. After several long minutes of picking, she managed to get one of the cuffs open. She loaded her tranq gun with actual ammo this time.

Keeping low, she tried to come up with a plan. She had achieved the first part of it; get out of the cuffs. Now... now what? Get away from the mummy, that was something. And get inside. Flawless! But as she opened the door to the car, she did not realise how far forward she was leaning, causing her to fall out of the car and onto the ground. With a growl, she stumbled onto her feet, still holding the gun. Well... this was going well.

Poison Ivy

Several of the key villains in Arkham had assembled outside the Asylum, having fought and slipped through the facility's numerous layers of security to once more taste the open air of freedom. Right on cue, a pair of vans sped around the corner and pulled up just outside the fence. Naturally, one was painted black with lurid flames painted around the wheels. The other was a rather elegant vehicle that looked like it transported local celebrities who wanted more space than a limo. Poison Ivy only sighed, and reminded herself to be at least a little relieved that the man with split personalities had actually arranged for two vehicles that, at least individually, wouldn't stand out too much. At least compared to what might have otherwise been a vehicle painted half white and half black, which would have been a glaring tip-off and a significant complication in their escape plan.

Poison Ivy briefly scrutinized the Asylum as several of the other escapees boarded the vans. No sign of the Rodent yet. But then, their escape was only minutes old and Deadshot had seen to it that no one would tip the facility's state too early. Of course, for all she knew, the Batman could show up at any minute bringing in yet another collar. It was time to go.

She turned to the white van, her eyes having drifted over Catwoman's concealed perch and yet having failed to see her. Climbing in, she blew a kiss at the two Asylum security guards she'd ensnared and whispered "If you love me, you'll tell Batman to switch his little car over to bio-diesel." Then, she sped away in the van along with any of the villains in the breakout who chose to go with her.

With one hand on the wheel, Poison Ivy's other stroked the chin of the Venus Flytrap as they sped away from the Asylum towards (possible) freedom. "I have a lovely arboretum with a dozen of your cousins just waiting for you at home," she cooed to the plant.
