Digital Up and Coming!

Junn

Easily startled.
So! I've decided that I'm going to just go for it and try and sell my art, thanks to some people in my fam kinda encouraging me to see where it goes. I will start out just trying to maybe sell some stickers/decals, but maybe some day I will be able to sell custom shirts and stuff! Who knows! I'm waiting on my first sample page of stickers to arrive, and it will take some time before I can fully get my etsy shop out there as I plan to have a few sticker pages to choose from before I start... and right now I only have one sticker done... but gatta start somewhere! (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑

The purpose of this thread is to share some of my art so I finish it, maybe get some input along the way cuz hey, I am new, have never done this, and just like to hear opinions!

Anyways! I will post as I finish my art, sooo thank you for stopping by and reading all this, and I hope you have an awesome day!

EDIT: Instead of ordering stickers from elsewhere, as I found out that would get pricey af, I decided to go ahead and buy my own sticker cutting machine... also expensive but hopefully worth it in the long run??? Anyways, because of this, it will be a bit longer before I can put up images of the stickers here! :o I'm excited though!

EDIT 2.0: Here are the stickers I am currently experimenting with! I need better paper, but for testing purposes, this works? (:

Edit 3.0: Got some better papeer, now I ust gatta make some worthy art!

It looks really amazing! (especially the shading! I can't stop staring at it, it's so simple and limited in shades but adds a lot to the piece! And the lines are just so delicate and they work so well with this way of shading)
I'm glad that you decided to sell your art because it's really great, and I'm sure you'll get lots of customers once you'll set up your etsy page!

I can't wait to see more of your art!

Thank you very much! ;v; I do my coloring on one layer to try and replicate a painterly style, but I'm not sure I succeeded. Still, it's fun, and that's what counts!

whoah i really dig this, the colors used, and the detail in the coloring. I absolutely feel lost when it comes to approaching digital in a painter-style but you execute it here so well im like, floored. It's so cool!

I see! You really succeeded using this painterly style, and on just one layer! It's really amazing!
Your new artwork is beautiful, obviously!

This is some pretty good stuff here! My only critique is that you should be a bit more careful with the signature. Try to find a way to still have it there and readable, but not grab so much of your attention.

Thank you! I feel like I certainly have a long ways to go before I'll be satisfied with my art though. It was actually a major factor in my depression, and still is from time to time, because I guess people are just critical of themselves a lot... but hearing that others like my art is really uplifting!

Ah! Good point! It's more of meant as a watermark than a signature. I definitely should make is less attention-hogging though... as in, try not to have it be so brightly colored and probably more transparent! Thank you for pointing that out!!! ♥

Flying away for a week to attend a wedding, but when I return, I plan to have lots of onis to paint!

(Just posting these here from my phone so I can get to it easier on my laptop!)

The trial and error stage has officially begun! Learning the software and finding out what paper would be best, but I'm proud of myself for coming this far. ^^

I am a broke hoe so I cannot do the buying thing, but these are INCREDIBLE and 100% something I'd want to stick all over my stuff if I had more disposable income. Thanks for sharing just so I can pine over them and motivate myself to get the dolla dolla bills.
