Ohi. I don't know how to start this off so oops.

k so this has probably been done before but one of the biggest things that can make me like an anime is the opening theme to an episode. So, what's your favorite? >.>

I personally really love Snow Fairy for Fairy Tail, or Asphyxia for Tokyo Ghoul:RE



 
I have way too many to list or even put into a coherent list, so I'll just fling out a few anime with openings I really like.

I'm a big fan of Snow Fairy from Fairy Tail as well
But my absolute favorite is probably Masayume Chasing by BoA, also from FT. I thought it was a freaking badass opening and a great way to kick off the start of the Fairy Tail (2014) thing they had going.



I'm also a big fan of the opening for the Blue Exorcist Kyoto arc. I think it's pretty dang good.



Don't even get me started on the Brothers Conflict opening. I will talk about it too much.

 
My personal top 8, keep in mind this is only from the anime I've watched: I actually really don't like Unravel that much

On a serious note, Cowboy Bebop's Tank! definitely deserves the first spot. It's catchy, and fits with the anime.

Unfortunately I don't know the song names, but they're just one season anime so it shouldn't be hard to find.

I think my favourites include Kyoukai No Kanata, Ancient Magus Bride, and Wotakoi: love is hard for an otaku.

They're all really fun to listen too for different reasons and I have them on my phone.
 
Actually talking in another topic here made me remember one of my other favourite openings from 90s anime xD

Where monsters rampage, I'm there to take them down! Where treasure glitters, I'm there to claim it! Where an enemy rises to face me, victory will be mine!

 
Guren no Yumiya for Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan). I'm especially partial to Animenz's piano cover on youtube. Also, season 3 begins airing on the 23rd!

I totally agree with this. But...ONLY because we're talking about OPs. If it were either OPs or EDs, then Cowboy Bebops ED, The Real Folk Blues deserves the top spot.
And then here's the best, Fan made cover in English, for all you hereti- I mean...people who watch the dub version.

Speaking of Dub versions...
So I'm a hypocrite...kind of. I don't like dub versions but after watching an Anime series or movie or whatever, if there's a dub version I'll watch it to see if it's worth telling the hereti-...I mean...my friends who only watch dubbed.
That being said I wish I had seen "Baccano!" in English my first watch through. Funimation put so much work into making sure everyone's accents were spot on for that particular scene.

I like Yui's version better.
 
I've got way too many to list because I am indecisive and also love too many openings so I will link a handful of openings I really enjoy to shows I've never watched.


The opening pan revealing the city and the spaceship blows my mind here considering this show came out in 1994. That's some exceedingly well integrated CG even by fairly recent anime standards. (At least I think it's CG!) I do plan on watching this eventually but I think I need to watch some other Macross stuff first.


Linking this one more for the music, but the mix of a fantasy setting with mecha is something that's appealed to me since I watched Escaflowne many moons ago.


This show has a seriously intriguing concept though I've heard mixed things about the execution.


This is the best quality version I could find of this video which is a shame. I don't have any desire to watch the series it's from as I've heard it really isn't that great but I really love both the video and song.
