Video Games World of Warcraft Free to Play?

So I just discovered that wow seemingly has this option of a very limited account state (no expansion content, max level 20 , no pet battles etc...) which can supposedly indefinitely play for free (until they upgrade their account). I'm installing the game right now, and am gonna try it, so I was wondering if anyone would like to come play with me? It can be just playing or roleplaying too (no erotic roleplay obviously).

Note: I am not yet 100% sure on whether this free account thing is completely true, the kind of information I could find about it came from forum discussions, and while I am pretty certain it's correct, until I test it I can't be sure.

It is true but max is lv20 and you can't access some content. I think also some social features are limited.
It may also be only one character limit but I don't remember about that. I used that free account thing to check out the game and level up to 20 but stopped playing aftewards because it just wasn't my thing.

Anyway you can still play for free and interact with people to some extent.

Update: Nope, turns out multiple characters are in fact allowed. In fact, I didn't know this before but seemingly you can even use races from other expansions, like worgens.

Oh alright. Good to know. I probably confused it with some other game where they only allowed one character.
