Fantasy Eternia: The Eternal Fantasy World(Absolute freedom RPG) [ENDED]

"Ok so i came here so you can help me answer some questions but every thing you just said raised more questions and answered some."

"Ok, so I came here so you can help me answer some questions, but everything you just said raised more questions yet only answered some." You explain.

Berea stares at you blankly for a moment, before stroking a beard which hadn't been there before. "I see. How about this, you can ask me any three questions, which I will answer as honestly as possible. Also since it doesn't seem like you don't have anything worth a piece of gold, I'll either give you: 100 gold coins, whatever spell you'd like to learn, a weapon and armor, or a book that'll teleport you to a random place somewhere in the universe." He offers, while twirling his fingers in his beard.

"Ok.so first when we met in that forest and you described berea or yourself why did you use two definitions to describe yourself? I mean if i was a god i would only say the good definition of me so i don't look like a demon."

"Ok. So first, when we met in that forest and you described Berea or yourself, why did you use two definitions to describe yourself? I mean, if I was a god, I would only say the good definition of me so I don't look like a demon." You ask.

"Easy, because at that time period there were pretty much two different opinions of me, that I was either good or bad. I didn't want you to think of me in one way or the other, because if I wanted to just take away your choice of opinion I would have with a snap of my finger." He answered, pretending to snap his fingers, but not actually doing so.

Current Inventory:
  • Ragged Clothes(Equipped)

  • Ball of Light

''ok. second why did you shoot me through time instead of just using a teleport spell on me to somewhere that a asteroid wont kill me?''

"Ok. Second, why did you shoot me through time instead of just using a teleport spell on me to somewhere that the asteroid wouldn't have killed me?" You ask.

"That one was kind of tricky. You see, another god, not me, sent that asteroid to kill someone specific. I think it was a bit overkill, but considering you showed up right when the asteroid was time to show up, I just assumed that your were the target. It's much harder to find someone even as a god when they travel through time." Berea answered.

''ok. third has know one disturbed you in decades even though you live here well i assume you live here, and not a single person has talked to you in decades until i came here?''

"Ok. Third, has nobody disturbed you in decades even though you live here? Well I assume you live here, and not a single person has talked to you in decades until I came here?" You ask.

Berea becomes slightly annoyed, however simply sighs. "First, that's two questions, so I'll answer the first one. Disturbed may be a bit extreme, but no your are not the only person I've had contact with in decades, and you're not the only person I'm in contact with right now. There are several spells which allow you to take a nap and still do other stuff, just so few people use them it's pretty much a lost art at this point. Honestly its frustrating how you mortals will rather remember the more flashy magic like teleportation, but you'll ignore magic that lets you do taxes in your sleep."

Getting up from his throne, he made several hand gestures before snapping his fingers, and several maids appeared with what you guess is some form of food. "So now that your interview is done, have you considered what you would like from me?" He askes, before eating some of the 'food'.

"Yeah I realized that last sentence was garbage, but I'll just take 100 gold and be out of your hair." You say.

Berea grumbles and snaps his fingers, and a small bag filled with gold coins appears at your feet. "Just leave the same way you came, through the same door you came. If you don't see a door, then just keep walking away until you do." He explains, and begins to feast on the 'food'.

(Sorry if my reasoning for some stuff sucks xD)

(no im fine)
*grabs the coin bag from the ground*
''bye berea good luck on your next whatever you do''
*walks off to find a door to leave*

"Bye Berea, good luck on your next whatever you do." You say, grabbing the bag of coin and walking away. The door reappears and you leave the throne room to find yourself back in the town. In the distance you can see two wagons have crashed into each other, and Helena is talking with the merchants involved. Despite it hadn't been very long since you left, what was day has now turned into dusk as the sun has just begun to set.

*walks over to the two crashed carts and helena while putting the coin bag in whatever can act as a pocket in the rags*

You walk over to the two crashed carts towards Helena, and put the coin bag in your pocket. Upon reaching the three, you can tell the merchants are starting to get violent. "-The hell you mean by useless?! Mana potions are used the world over, by almost every wizard or mage that so much as makes a campfire!" One merchant went. "Really? When you can just regenerate mana, what's the point in mana potions? You can just get enchantments, and not have to use mana at all! Mana potions are dying out, and you should die too, so people like me can make the actual money!" The other replied. "Oh, people like you? You mean people who will triple the price on something they bought off someone who didn't know the actual value of it?" The first one remarked.

Helena sighed, her patience starting to wane. "Look, can you two just calm down and explain what actually happened?" She asked, almost in a plea as neither of them seemed to even want to get along.

The two merchants turned to face you, look you up and down, and roll their eyes. "What would someone in rags like you know about anything like that?" The mana-potion merchant sarcastically asked. "At least I can agree on that. In fact, how about we just pay this poor urchin to move the crashed wagons for us?" The enchantment merchant asked the other. "Uhm, I don't think that's-" Helena tried to intervene, but the potion merchant cut her off. "That's actually a good idea." The potion merchant agreed, then turned to face you. "How about this, we'll each pay you 5 gold pieces if you clear the rubble of our wagons for us while we move our goods to some new wagons. Maybe you could buy some decent clothes and a meal, deal?"

"Thanks for the offer, but I'm just here to solve unneeded arguments." You explain, which while makes Helena happy for your help, only serves to annoy the merchants. "Fine, if this idiot would simply pay for the damages he caused to my wagon-" "Damages I caused?! You're the one speeding through here like a maniac! You should be the one paying for the damages on MY wagon! You don't even need a wagon for potions, you could just carry them! I, on the other hand, have to transport weapons, armor, and precious jewelry!"

"...Helena, can you tell me how long they have been arguing?" You ask, which causes her to look away and give an awkward smile.

"Not too long, just about an hour or two. Maybe three. Did you know that the average potion goes for 11 gold coins?" She answers back, trying to change the subject.

''nice to know.''
*continues try to solve the argument*
''ok you both calm down and tell me how much the damages are.''

"Nice to know." You reply, before returning to the matter at hand. "Ok, you both calm down and tell me how much the damages are."

Both of the merchants hesitant, but then look at each of their crashed wagons for a few minutes. "About 38 gold for mine, I know someone who owes me a favor that could fix the wheel." The potion merchant said, causing the enchantment merchant to grumble. "I'd say around 46 gold for my wagon, considering that almost the entire front end is smashed and the crash caused my horse to kick a hole in the side."

''well will you guy stop fighting if i help you pay for damages and get that guy to fix the potion cart wheel?''
