What is this?
This is an rp that will take place in the world of Remnant from Rooster Teeth’s RWBY. It starts off pretty basic as far as RWBY rps go, but there will be more to do the further we go along. There is a main story driven plot in the rp, but I will be keeping that in the shadows for a while.
What will we be doing
The RP will primarily take place in Beacon Academy, where you will be playing as students training to become Huntsmen and Huntresses. The RP will start about a few months into the year (unless you guys want to RP out the first days at the academy). You will all be put together into teams of four students like in the show as well.
How different is this RP from the show
A few key things from the show are absent in the rp (Such as the four maidens and silver eyes, as well as all canon characters. But other than that, the world is pretty much the same. However, the Grimm in the rp have a different origin from the canon.
How many characters can we have?
No limit as of now. Just be reasonable, and only one student per a team.
Is there a Discord Server?

Co-GM: Two spots opened (only requirement is that you have basic knowledge on RWBY lore, as well as being available at least five days a week).

Rules and other info
- The Rp is PG-13.
- You are required to check in at least once every two days either on the website or the discord. You do not have to make an actually post in the rp if it is not necessary, just let us know you are still game.
- If you disappear without warning and it causes the RP to grind to a halt, your character will be disposed of to continue the RP’s progress. The best you can expect is that your character will be erased from the roleplay, and you will have to reintroduce them into the story should you return.
- If you have a tendency to leave rps without warning, or you think you may drop out, please do not pick a critical role (ex: a Teacher)
- The “Rule of Cool” applies to the rp in regards to combat. Want to singlehandedly hack down five Grimm? Go ahead! Want to swing around a giant scythe with no problems? Be my guest! If they do it in the show, you can do it here! Just try to be reasonable.
- That said, please play fair when fighting other players. Autohitting in most cases is not allowed unless both parties agree that there is absolutely no way the target can the dodge the attack.
- When creating characters, it will be easier if you collaborate on the team’s name and initials before you name your huntsmen.
