Colosseum Even the ageless get old

(No auto hits. I know plenty about Warhammer, and I know Space Marines are not that tough. You interfered in a one on one fight, have shown no respect for your opponent, your writing is lazy and on a 2nd grade level, and you resort to Godmoding and auto hits because you can't think of anything else to do. You didn't come here for a fight, you thought you could just show up and get a squash to make yourself look cool. It doesn't work that way. Go back to the amature threads where you belong.)

(Miss, you and I will continue our fight. I am no longer acknowledging Mr Kraz.)
"welp I guess its time to use my trump card".she whistles and a metal box dops in front of her, unfolds and hovers next to her "042 if you were to be so kind" the flying mini-robot begins to fire lasers in quick succession at the giant

Elen grunted as he stepped away from the smoking remains. The spell had drained most if his energy, and sevearly damaged his left arm. The skin was bruised and blistered, and much of the muscle was torn. He concentrated, channeling healing magic from his stomach. He didn't have the time or strength to fully heal the damage, he could only stich himself back together enough so that he could use the arm again. Once his fingers were moving again, he turned his attention to the right arm.

Blocking the hammer blow had taken it's toll on the armor and his body. He could feel the cracks in his bones, and the shoulder was dislocated. He got to work restoring the bones as much as he could, hissing through his teeth at the excruciating pain. That done he grabbed his upper arm, yanked, then rotated it, shoving the shoulder back into the socket with a horrible pop. He rolled it a few times, tested his hand, found he could move it, then willed his armor to reconfigure back into its first version that covered his whole body.

And it was not a moment too soon, because the strange blinfolded girl had just summoned some kind of combat drone to attack him.

"Shit!" He yelled as lasers tore up the ground around him. Agile as he was, he was weakened, and the laser fire was too thick to get out unscathed. He had to simply hope that his armor could stand up to the onslaught until he found cover. Cover, however, was not too far away. The scorched hulk of the dead space marine was plenty big enough for him to dive behind. He pressed himself as small as he could to avoid the incoming fire, and began to formulate a plan. He would only have seconds before the drone and/or it's master would be on him, and he needed an effective response ready.

“042 begin charge”the drone stops firing.”good news and bad news.the good news is that you have 30 seconds.the bad news is that the next blast should go straight through you and several buildings.Good luck~”

Elen growled. Perhaps the time for finess was passed. In the end, instict always took over anyway.

"Screw this," he said. He stood up, gritting through the pain of his injuries. The robot was preparing some kind of serious attack and he didn't plan to be on the receving end if a blast that could match his own.

He lifted his left arm, sighted through his splayed out fingers, took careful aim...then threw his massive sword. The huge blade spun slowly end over end as it arched toward it's target: the small round lense on the front of the drone that he could only guess was either it's optic sensor, or the focusing prism for the laser. Either way, he threw the huge blade with all his might, using every bit of experience and instinct to try and put it's wickedly pointed blade on target. The big sword flew fast and hard, as if it were a thunder bolt loosed from a titan's fist.

042 hit the ground.”Welp I guessed things won’t be as easy as having 042 blast you off the face of the Earth”.she picked up a glowing cylinder from 042 and loaded it into her large katana making emit a black hue.”shall we?”.she bows

"If you wanted easy," he said as he stepped over to the fallen space marine's huge hammer and grasped the handle," you should have picked someone else to fight."

He hefted the big weapon up and rested it on his shoulder. He began to walk towards her, the ground cracking under his feet from the added weight of the hammer.

she lowers her stance and prepares to dash

Elen lunged forward, ising his huge stride to close the distance quickly. He gripped the big hammer in both hands and brought it down in a big over hand swing.

He cursed to himself. The ground beneath his feet buckled and was pulverized. Even though he himself was heavy enough to counter the weight of the weapon, the surface under his feet could not withstand the force of swinging such a massive amount of weight. The ground soffened and fell appart under his boots, robbing the attack of much of it's speed and power, and threatening to put him badly off balance.

This was one if the reasons Elen hated ridiculous, over sized weapons. They could not be used practically half the time.

"you're pretty slow old man".She dashed to his right flank.

"Oh, shut up," he growled. Of course the girl dodged it. The attack WAS slow, off balance and clumsy. She was too swift to be hit by any attack he could throw with the hammer...however, hitting her wasn't the goal.

As the hammer slammed down and blasted a crater into the dirt, Elen released it and jumped to the side. His hand found the hilt of his sword and yanked it out of the smashed carcass of her combat drone. He needed to get the sword back after he had thrown it, but with her standing so close, he knew she wouldn't let him re-arm himself so easily. Now, thanks to her having to move so far to avoid the hammer strike, he had seperated her from the sword, alloqimg him to reclaim it.

Propperly armed once again, he took up his stance, and lunged after her. Without the inhibiting weight of the hammer, he could move much faster. Not quite as fast as before, his injuries still slowed him down, and swinging that hammer had made them worse, but fast enough. He angled a sharp, quick diagonal cross cut at her, twising his body to add power to the blow.

The force of the cut sent her hurdling backwards a couple of feet. What looked like blood was trickling down her chest from the gaping wound on her torso.”w-watch where you are swinging that thing.Someone could get hurt”

Blood was seeping out from his armor where the injuries of his left arm had reopened. He gripped his sword, causing more to drip to the ground.

"A little pain is good for you," he said. He dropped back into his stance and came in for another attack, sweeping the blade across in a tight level arc.

She barely managed to stand.the sword was now feeling heavy in her hand.”One..Last..Time..”.she shot forwards at breakneck speed, swinging her sword in a large arc at chest level.

The attack was fast, despite the damage she had taken. Elen tried to bring his sword up for a counter, but his left arm spasmed and there was a jarring pain from his right shoulder. The greatsword never came up, and her sword slashed him across his broad chest, sparking against his armor.

The sword didn't get through the armor but it scored a gash across the chest plate, and the force of her attack broke two of his ribs. He fell back, losing his balance and collapsing, breaking a third rib from the weight of his own body. He caughed, spitting blood into his faceplate. The blow had caused more internal damage as well.

she put all of her effort i trying to stand but collapses due to her injuries

Elen rolled painfully onto his side. He could feel bones grinding against themselves as he grasped the greatsword and used it to pull his heavy body up onto his knees. He saw the girl collapse. He reached up, unclasped the helmet, and let it fall to the grass with a thump.

"Can't..." He was cut off by a nother round of hacking up blood. He drug himself to his feet, standing on shakey legs. His immense size and weight were a boon in combat as ling as he stayed in shape. But once he started taking too much damage, his body began to work against itself. He felt sluggish and heavy, and his weight made injuries worse and harder to heal.

He plodded over to the girl and used a foot to roll her gently onto her back. He held the point of his sword in her face.

"Will you keep fighting, or do you yield?" He asked. He tensed, wanting to be ready in case she had a trick up her sleeve.

she was heavily bleeding and managed to get up to her feet." no,I've never lost before"

He watched her trying to stand. He knew how she felt. He knew what it was like to believe you were unbeatable. Constanlty pushing himself to be the best, to never give in. The fear of finding out the truth. Of having to face that defeat and live with it. He had faced it more times than she would ever be able to understand and yet somehow he still hated it. Still did his best to avoid it.

He remebered countless battles when he had ignored spears, arrows, gunshots, lighting and fire, had faught his way past broken bones, torn tissues, massive blood loss. He remembered a time when he had gotten both arms cut off and was forced to keep fighting, kicking with his legs and holding a sword in his mouth. He eventually lost the sword and had to resort to tearing out throats with his teeth. The memories brought the taste of burned flesh and blood to his mouth.

This girl would not give up until she was either dead or could not move.

"Very well. I've no choice but to honor your wish," he said.

He drew back his sword and aimed a fast thrust at her, the wicked point aimed at her upper body.

She smiled and tilted up her neck accepting her fate.”no mercy, huh”

He stood over her, his sword held out. It's razor sharp edge rested lightly against the soft flesh of her throat. He looked down at her with his cold blue eyes.

"Mercy..."he growled. His grip on the sword tightend. "That has nothing to do with it. Either you can finish a fight or you can't, there is no mercy. Not in a fight to the death. Lucky for you, this is not that kind of fight, at least not to me. Fighting to the death just to prove a point or who is stronger is stupid and childish. A waist of a life and a good warrior. To die in battle, defying the enemy, standing for what you believe in, THAT is when death will open her arms and accept you without shame. This would be an execution, not a warrior's death. If you are going to fight then you need to put your heart and soul into it. Leave everything you have behind when you swing your sword. Forget all else and think only of victory. There will be time enough to worry about other matters after the battle is over. But unilt then, you fight. If you hate the idea of losing so much, fight it. Defy it with every breath, every bone, every pound of flesh, every drop of blood. If you loose your sword, punch and kick with all your strength. If they cut off your hands, stomp on their heads. If they cut off your feet, spit in their eyes and bite their throats out. If they knock out your teeth, then scream. Howl, roar, bellow your rage into the sky until their ears burst and their eyes shake in their skulls. If someone wants to kill you make them work for it, and make it such a horrifying, unbearable ordeal that even after you've shed your last breath, the sound of your war cry and sight of your sword will haunt their nightmares for the rest of their days."

He removed his sword from her neck. The great weapon hissed and dissapeared in a whisp of black mist.

"In the end defeat is defined by the loser. Just because someone tells you that you've lost does not make it so. Life, combat, these are not games for children. There are only the fallen and the ones standing. But just beacuse you fall does not mean you cannot rise again."

He turned away and began to head back toard the tree he had been resting under. He had a lot of wounds to heal and needed to repair his armor as well.

"So rise. Live to fight another day, and when you are ready, come back. I will not turn you away."
