With perspection at a an all time low for well known heroes of the justice league. Batman has decided form group consisting on young heroes to do covert mission all over the world. Their base of operation will be the JLA old base in happy harbor called Mount Justice. Mission will be given by Batman, training by Black Canary, and Red Tornado to live with the young heroes at mount justice to look after them.

__________________________________________

Thea is given the task of recruiting her own team of young heroes by Batman. A task not easily done. The only thing she is given is vague profile on each one of them. Two of them were in Happy Harbor. One in Fumuyaki City, japan. an another in Wordenshire, England. Lucky for her she can use zeta beam transport to the different safe houses the justice league has assembled on earth. She arrives in happy harbor first at the orignal justice league head quarters mount justice. She heads to the city of Happy Harbor using one of the motorcycles and starts her search.

Des had been brought to Happy harbor basically kicking and screaming, or as close to it as she could get when it came to the elements. She had been in a dessert awhile back and had been trying to die of exposure and lack of water, but she had been prevented from doing so by her very tormentors. She had managed to sit and wait for nearly a week before the spirits around her got bored and started to force her to move, or when she wouldn't overtly did so with strong winds and moving the earth below her feet.

Thus Des was in another city against her will because the spirits would not stop pushing her and bugging her until she came here. This was not the first time the spirits hand told her to do things like this, but normally she was told to got fight someone or do something to keep the spirits entertained. Right now they were oddly silent, no talking flames or emaciated spectral figures following her, still she knew if she tried to throw herself int he street to started something to get herself killed they would stop her, or heal her if she wasn't quite dead. She was half way sure they actually brought her back a few times. Still she was trying to figure out what they wanted and she knew they enjoyed her frustration as she could hear the wind laughing faintly.

Des was well aware of the people looking at her, the way she dressed was odd, and so was the way she looked, she always turned heads. Des hated it, she had her skin tone changed and her hair color was now an odd pink all thanks to the forces of nature and the stupid amulet. She grumbled as she walked down the streets trying to figure out what the hell she was even doing here and just hopping she would be allowed to leave soon.

Markus sighed as he heard the bell ring, looking up at the clock before pulling out his phone and looking at the news. "Right on time..." He mumbled, quickly grabbing his bag before running out of school. He had five minutes to stop this crime and get back for his next lesson; plenty of time really. He ran onto the rooftop and placed his bag down before changing into his uniform. "Okay Markus, you got this. Just like every other week..."

In a flash of lightning, Markus had ran to a nearby corner store where he found his father in a stupid costume once more. "Oh boy, you again? What were you last time, something like Turtinator? Wait, that's a pokemon....eh, you have the same intelligence as one to be fair."

"Ha ha, laugh it up while you can Slippy-"

"It's Slipstream...maybe if you didn't flunk school you'd know what it was."

"Whatever! Anyway, I'd like to see you try and stop me this time! My master plan will tear you to shreds and you'll never live it do-"

Slipstream groaned and quickly ran in, punching the thug in the face before picking him up, carrying him to the nearby police station. He dumped him in front of the desk and dusted his hands off. "There you go boys. Charge him for...I dunno, being too noisy in public? He didn't actually get to the whole 'I'm gonna steal your stuff cuz I'm evil hahaha' part. He almost did, but his speech almost bored me to death. Anyway, gotta run."

Markus quickly left the station and ran back to his school where he grabbed his stuff and changed back into his school uniform.

"Markus?" His teacher called out the second time as he done the register. He narrowed his eyes and began to turn around before the sound of Markus' voice.

"Here sir...I've always been here....are you sure you're mentally fit to be a teacher? Are you hearing voices sir, age tends to do that..."

The school day may have been just beginning for those in America, but for Kathy it was already nearing it’s end. And she could have sworn she was dying. Bored beyond what should be humanely possible, her attention continually flipped between the window, her flaking nail polish, her professor’s monotone, the clock. The window. The professor. The nail polish. The clock.

Window. It was already getting dark. She would be on duty soon...

Professor. Aristotle would have considered Elizabethan tragedy disgraceful, as it combined tragedy and comedy, two genres he believed should be...

Nail polish. The remnants of a nice job. Scarlet. Not strictly allowed at school, but no one had pulled her up on it...

Clock. Still 8 minutes to go. Damn it, go faster.

Window. It was darker. She blamed pollution.

Proffesor. Neo-Classisists are stuck up nambies.

Nail polish. Maybe she would go for purple next time.

Clock. 7 minutes and 50 seconds to go. Oh god.

She let a sharp puff of air from her nostrils, collapsing backwards in her chair defeatedly. The guy in the seat next to her - cute, but taken by Zoe B - sent her a sympathetic nod, and they shared a long suffering sigh.

The professor paused in her lecture and raised an eyebrow above her round, wiry glasses. “I’m sorry.” She asked, a hint of warning in her tone. “Am I boring you?”

“Yes.” Came a muffled voice from the back row, and a wave of giggles rolled over the humour-starved class.

The professor pinched her lips together, and glanced at the clock in the front of the room, next to the blackboard. She considered something in silence, then gave a slight shrug. “I’ll let you all out early today, on the condition that you come back tomorrow with the next chapter of the text book read.

Kathy stayed silent, knowing that, no matter how bored she was, sitting through the rest of the class was the lesser of two evils. The rest of her class mustn’t have gotten the memo, as a chorus of ‘Ok.’s and ‘Thank you!’s and ‘Praise the lord above!’s chorused from her classmates. And with that, they were free to see another day.

Thea didn't really have to worry about school in the traditional sense as she does an online school since the beginning of her high school freshmen year. As long as she checks in with the school and gets atleast a B average her mother and school doesn't bother her to much. She dies still study with friends though. If she needs anything else like a tutor her dad just pays for it.

Thea just zooms through the town. Knowing full well that most of her teenage recruits would be in school. She decided to wait for them and watch over the city. Which wasn't really known to have super villian level threats there, but there always pity crime like a drug dealer or two. Which was easily stop with a trick arrow that tide them to a lamp post. After being thanks by the local police for the help, she saw what appeared to be an oddly dress individual. It look like shevwas dress like a tribal witch doctor.

Des had seen the dealers before though nearly in passing and she had ignored then. See didn't she herself as a hero unless forced and she had not been force, now while she wasn't exactly one to just ignore anything wrong and normally might have done something right now she was in a very bad mood. Still the arrival of somone dressed as a hero gave her the idea this was no random insurance. The spirits could see the future though for them it was like clay easily molded or changed. She had once or twice thawarted thier plans and learned such. Still this had to be what they wanted and Des didn't care for it.

"Oh come on you can't be serious can't I just go and try to die in the dessert again, she said rather loudly not to any seen force but rather to the spirits that plagued her. She did not want to team up with someone that actully wanted to do this.

Ashlyn rested her head in her hands as attempted to listen to the teacher as he droned on and on about something she probally will never need. she glanced at the clock 'ugh, will this class never end?" she thought as she looked back to the front trying to atleast look like she was paying attention but her mind decided to do anything but, she knew that the sooner this class was over the sooner she had to go back to the base. she debated multiple times on just skipping the rest of class but she knew that she would get caught somehow or would end up guilty as heck so she sat through the last few minutes of class. eventually the bell rang signaling the end of class and the end of another school day she sighed and retrieved her things and began the long walk back to the base.

Happy Harbor

"Okay, seriously? I've been living less that a hundred miles from this place! How is this the first time I've been here? It's so cute!

"Cute?" A feminine voice in Cindy's in-ear communicator asked. "I figured a city girl like you would find a small town like this boring."

"Weeeeeell... I don't know about boring or fun, but it seems so quiet and peaceful. It's..." She paused as she looked for the word. She sat hovering in the air about half a mile from Happy Harbor, admiring the view. "...quaint. Yeah, it's quaint!"

"Huh. Well, to each their own I guess. But don't forget you're not here for sightseeing."

"I know! I know, Abigail!" Cindy all but wined as she floated down the the town's main street, earning looks of surprise from pedestrians. "Investigate the town of Happy Harbor for the assassin Cheshire or evidence of her activities in the vicinity. And return to base by 1800 hours so we can get you pretty for your photo-shoot." She tried to do her best impression of a woman with a stick up her butt as she said this, earning a snort from her mission coordinator. "Was that supposed to be Director Bordeaux?"

"Yep, though she never actually said the photo-shoot part! Remind me why she sent me to investigate instead of, like, our spies?"

"They're not spies, they're intelligence officers." Abigail corrected her, "And they figured, since the Cheshire seems to be obsessed with you and your activities-" "Which is creepy, FYI." "-that she'd be more likely to show herself to you than any other agent."

The teenage fashion model was about to respond when she got distracted by a display in a shop window. "Oh my gosh, Abby! You've got to see these skirts! They're so cute!" There was an audible slap on the communicator as her coordinator face-palmed. "Cindy..."

During the boreing long walk back to the base. she used this precious time to gather her thoughts and work on her concentration, 'just clear your mind.....focus.....drown out your surroundings...' she though as she walked a tad slower and she began to relax and clear her mind, then she focused her power on a nearby pedestrian and they jumped back in suprise and she then nodded to herself in sataisfaction and continued onward. during her walk back she happened to notice the girl known as solaris and smiled a bit and waved gently "hey, i was just on my way back, whatcha up to?" she asked curiously as she aproached, she had seen her a few times before but had never really spoken to the girl but there was a first time for everything, right?

"I really hate flying." Jocelyn spat with distaste as she floated in the air over Happy Harbor City. Or, er, tried to float. See, flying wasn't her "favorite" thing to do, because of her dreaded fear of heights, or really falling, she'd always been able to somehow escape flight training when it ever came up with her father and the rest of the House of El, er, super family. This house business . . . She understood it somewhat, to a degree. They were like tribes, clans, maybe even Dynasties, or the Kryptonian equivalent to such a concept. She was a member of the "Ex" family, which took the shape of a sort of Z for her family Crest, as such an S for those in the House of El. Everyone else in the families had such good control over their abilities, her dad could use them all flawlessly, and Superman had even more finesse in it than her father did. Supergirl was just the same. Don't get her wrong, Jocelyn wasn't exactly new to her abilities, not like Supermans son, Jonathan, but it wasn't like she'd mastered all it's uses. Flying was one of the ones she'd tried her best to resist, and well, trust and believe she was praying the price for not joining her father on those flight runs. "And I mean, I really hate flying." She replied again, "Why couldn't I just run here?" she was infact not crazy and talking to herself, but instead, was communicating with Batman himself by an earpiece hung around her earlobe. "Just find the others." He blatantly replied, not even giving much thought to her questions or grievances. Cold as always . . .

"Fine, jerk." she muttered under her breath, and pointed her attention back towards the city, slowly lowering to the ground. "What am I looking for again?" she asked him. "Speedy. Blonde hair, short girl, you'll know her when you see her. Meet up with her, and help her find the other members." Jocelyn nodded, even though he wouldn't be able to see the nod, and whispered. "Aye aye Bat Captain sir." Jocelyn landed safely on the ground, to the surprise and awe of many children in the playground beside her. Many of the parents grabbed their children and ran away, some just glanced at her, and went back to their phones. She made a quick observation, these people were so used to supers by this time, that either they knew to grab their loved ones and run, or ignore them because it'd be over soon, whatever would happen. Oh what a world she lived in. Jocelyn felt a tug at her red cloth belt, apart of her costume which hung our of the jeans she put on to cover herself, and she turned around to meet face to face with the eyes of a child. "Are you Supergirl?" she asked in awe. Jocelyn was unsure what to think, because one, she was Black and Hispanic, supergirl was white, so where the confusion began she didn't know, but she had to give a name, or something, right? "Er, no, I'm Lenux." She said, before hearing a blood curdling screech from her ear bud. She struggled to stand straight, and grabbed onto whatever she could for support. But sadly, the only thing around was the small girl, who immediately ran in terror as her sluggish movements became evident. She fell into a nearby wooden bench, and gripped the sides of her head. "Dammit make it stop!" she snapped at Batman, who ended the frequency in response. After taking a few minutes to gather her composure, she practically screamed to him, "What was that!?" there was a brief silence, before he answered. "High frequency interruption. High enough that no human can hear it, but happily, you can. Now get back to work."

Jocelyn mumbled something under her breath, before standing up, a bit wobbly, and spitting on the ground. She knew what she had to do now, there wasn't enough time to run around the entire city looking for one girl, so, it'd just be easier to use her super sight, X ray vision, oh the perks of being a Kryptonian. Her eyes flashed, and she searched around the entire city, looking through walls and buildings, before finally finding and locating her, with what seemed to be a girl in tribal clothing next to her? Maybe another member? "Bingo Bongo." she said to herself, before lowering her body, and taking off into a sprint. Ah super speed, while she hated flying, and absolutely sucked at it, running was something she could get into. Though she still had some trouble sometimes, controlling when she stopped and not running into things, it was still a fun ability to utilize. In what seemed like seconds, she appeared right next to Thea, or well she tried to, skidding against the ground past her. Eh, close enough. "Hey there." she said with a slight pant, "See Bman, I did it." but, as expected, no answer. "A 'Good Job Jocelyn, you did great' wouldn't suck you know."

Thea hated when people use super powers to sneak up on her with out warning. Normally people couldn't just sneak up on her with a few exceptions. "Well I was just stopping a few drug dealings as I search for a few of the recruit here in happy harbor. I think I found Desdemona Lunafilia aka Shaman." She said as she sees this weird looking girl walked past them talking to herself. Well it wasn't really weird when you were at work as a super hero, but talking to yourself is always a bit weird.

"I am going to approach her in regular clothes. We should change before we are ask to sign autographs or something stupid like that." Thea said heading back to her bike to remove her gear. She wasn't wearing her normal tactical gear suit. " Come on Jocelyn. you should change into civilian clothes too."

"Hmm . . . Yeah, Civilian clothes." That definitely wouldn't be a problem, if, of course, she packed Civilian clothes. But sadly, she had not thought of packing them. She really didn't think of it much . . . Civilian clothing. Whenever she trained with the Amazons, she either trained in Amazonian sparring clothing, or in some shorts and a tank top. And whenever she did anything that attributed to her Kryptonian abilities, she'd wear her costume. She never had to change before. Should she run home and quickly grab some clothes? Or would it be easier to simply buy some clothes from a nearby store? Oh, wait no, she couldn't do the latter. She wasn't used to it, but she had to keep up the secret identity trope. Nobody even knew that there was another Kryptonian on earth. Kal El, Kara, and a few special cases were the only ones. And she hadn't done enough deeds to make it big, so to everyone, she was just another person in a costume. It didn't help that she wasn't even wearing the traditional superman colors. What she wore were the colors of her House, the House of Ex, and the symbol for such. Maybe it wouldn't matter if she did it out in the open? Ugh . . .

"Sorry, just uh, okay give me a second." she muttered in an apologetic nature. There was a quick burst of wind around them, and she was gone, running to her Condo in Atlanta. She was back only a few seconds later, now changed into something more . . . Appropriate? She folded her costume, and put it in her purse. "What's the point in doing that if you do it out in the open, where everyone can see you?" Came the sound of the Bat over the piece in her ear. She winced, and pulled away slightly. "Jeez . . ." she muttered, before turning back to Speedy. "I'm back anyways, sorry for that.

Des had walked past the two, as one had ran out of nowhere to right next to the first, costumed wierdos. To Des only strange people would chose to put on a costume and fight others, she didn't have a choice when she did things. Really she wanted nothing to do with them and was glad they didn't try to stop her as she didn't want to have to fight to get away. Still she doubted that the spirits were just going to let her go free if she had just evaded their will.

" What is it you guys want you forced me here?" Des asked the figures that only she could see a short time after she passed by the two weirdos.

" It is your fate" said one seemingly out of stone " We have many plans for you" Said nothing made out of water " It seemed fun at the time" Said the fire spirit.

" Well at least one of you is honest" Des said having no real respect so thinking what fire said was the truth.

With that settled Des continued down the street, she doubted that she had truly escaped the spirit's plans, but she had at least delayed them. She needed to get something to eat, and being a costumed creep like those other two and being underage she doubted she could get a short term job. Normally she would end up just hunting and eating whatever she caught, or foraging for whatever was edible. That would not work here as there were few game animals in a big city. Well she could perhaps find and eat a dog or something that might work.

" Really you spirits do nothing but bring me suffering " Des sighed hearing the laughter of the spirits who had vanished from her sight for now.

Thea sigh at the response from her super powered friend. "You have like a billion powers and one of the isn't common sense. Go back to base and change and then go to big belly burger near the center of town." Thea said putting a button shirt over the tang top she was already wearing she also collapse her bow and hid it inside a compartment the bike with her quiver and mask. " I am going to talk to that girl." She becomes embarrass at that statement, because it sounded more like she was going to go hit on the girl. " I mean. damn it..." Thea says as she hops on the cycle and goes.

Thea heads in the general direction the girl was heading to see if she can catch up to her. It only took her about ten minutes to catch up to the oddly dress girl. " hey you, is your name Desdemona." Thea says she stops next to her on the motorcycle. It seem very awkward. The orignal team came together because they practical knew each other. She hardly new anyone outside of star city. " my name Thea Queen. We should talk about extra curricular activities. I will pay for your lunch if you come with me." Thea couldn't believe that came out if her mouth. It sounded like a horrible pick up line.

Des wondered who the hell could know her name after all she wasn't form this city at all. She also didn't go to school so talk of activities like after school was pointless so just how did this girl know about her. Des only realized it when she saw the spirit of air behind the girl she was one of the heroes. Des guessed she was the one with the arrows like some knock off green arrow.

" I would tell you no and to get lost not intrested but I don't have a choose do I?" She said looking from the girl to the spirit behind her clearly annoyed at the situation. "And a burger beats dog I guess" she said revealing her plans for lunch.

Finally the school bell had rang out for lunch, and Markus wasted no time in running out of the classroom door and towards his favorite place to eat. Not only was it his favorite place to eat, but it was also the only place that served him all the food he needed to eat due to a certain friend who worked there. Markus found out quickly after obtaining his new powers that he needed to eat a lot of food to keep up his energy; his metabolism had also gained the powers of the speed force and was probably even faster than he was. Markus zoomed through the streets, the wind blowing in his hair before he skidded to a stop.

"Hello, welcome to Big Belly Burger, how may I help you?"

"Just the regular please, Steph."

"Of course Mark. Would you like that super sized to?"

"Yeah, I'd love it super sized. And please, you know I hate that nickname..." With emphasis on the word 'super' Markus hopped onto a bench and sat next to the store-front window, looking out at the street as he rested his chin on his palm. "Now comes the eternal wait..."

"Real smooth." Jocelyn said with a small smirk, simply messing with her team mate. She looked over her newest ally, and was . . . confused. She didn't know much about the members of the new Young Justice Initiative, she'd only been ordered to help the Queens Child with the gathering of said members, and hadn't been given specifics. But, this just seemed strange. She was short, couldn't have been any older than 15, and that was stretching it. She looked like a child, but, wild. Her body seemed roughed up, as if she'd fallen down a cliff several times over, and she had such a strange look in her eyes . . . Who was this girl? And what did she mean by that statement? She walked past her, and whispered in Thea's ear. "I'll meet you at Belly Burger." and with that she was off. Not using her powers as to not try to draw any attention to herself, she walked into the restraunt, and realizing she didn't actually have anything to buy, she sat down and waited for the other members.

Markus raised a brow as he looked out of the window, seeing a girl approach the burger shop. A girl who wasn't familiar to him. A girl who was very, very attractive. "Interesting...I must be a chick magnet." He smirked, leaning back and resting his head on his hands, closing his eyes. "Lucky me, am I right or am I right?"

"Riiiight..." Steph chuckled, placing down a tray full of burgers wrapped up. The mountain of food sent an aroma throughout the shop, circling the very few number of customers in there. "Here is your....100 burgers...90% off for you." She sighed. "Man, what would you do without me...?"

"Probably steal these...just kidding!" He replied laughed loudly, rubbing his hands as he stared at the mound of food. "You owe me anyway! I did..."

"Shut up!" She laughed. "Just shut up and eat your meal. I have no clue how you eat so much..."

"A magician cannot reveal his tricks. Hey, give that girl one of these." Markus handed Steph one of his burgers, quickly unwrapping another. "Tell her it's from me."

She rolled her eyes and sighed. "Fine..." She walked over to Jocelyn and placed the burger down in front of her. "From tall, blonde and handsome over there." She stuck her thumb out over her shoulder and pointed to Markus as he chomped down on a burger, holding another in his hand. "Hey, maybe if you're lucky, he'll give you one more out of his 99..."

"Excuse me?" she asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion. Well look at that . . . She caught the eye of someone. Jocelyn looked around the girl, catching the eye of the boy from a few seats away. "Well I see Blonde, where's the tall and handsome?" she asked with a small giggle, and looked up at the worker. "Joking, joking. Thank you though." she looked back over at the boy, and began to study him more. What the hell was she seeing? He seemed muscular, not too muscular, just enough to be noticeable. And not fat, but, he had 99 sandwiches in front of him. Her father ate that much, but he was a warrior, or something. But this guy seemed no different than a normal boy his age. What would he need all those sandwiches for? She looked at the door, and then looked through it. Her team mate had yet to come . . . Hm, well, she could have some fun with this. She swiftly moved her seat, sitting across from him, and putting her elbows on the table, her head in her palms held by her chin. "Now, what kind of young adolescent boy, knee deep in Hormones and drenched in puberty, would buy exactly 100 sandwiches?" She unwrapped her own, and took a bite out of it, cocking her head. "Rather strange don't you think?"

Thea moved closer to the tank of the bike so there be home for a second person. " So hop on. I am not going to wait all day." Thea said with a laugh. The irony is every thing she said sounded like she was flirting with her target. She wonder why Batman would choose such an unorthodox way to recruit for a new team. Basically leaving it up to Thea and Jocelyn to find a team using JLA and A.R.G.U.S records.

From the records not much is known about Desdemona Lunafilia aka Shaman. She apparently got her powers from an amulet an they appear to be elemental by nature. That was the only information Zatana and Dr.Fate had. There are literally untold amounts of totems made in the past. Some past down a family lines like Vixen totum and others.

" Yeah yeah" Des said with a sigh as she got onto the bike having to grab onto the driver as she only had seen movies and what not and honestly knew nothing about them. She would normally make some comment that not the heroes were picking up any kid they saw, but honestly she kind of assumed that was what they did anyways. She didn't know how else to explain all the teen and kid sidekicks the big heroes had if they didn't just abduct a few that no one would miss, like her.

Thea through the little bit of traffic with Desdemona on her bitch seat. She tried to not take turns to hard and control her speed to not freak out her passenger. Reality Thea rides on the fast side normally. She may have canary cry but other than that she was pretty much a regular person. So she tried to find ways to be equal to her super powered friend. She wonder if all non super powered heroes like her parents and Batman always tried to work harder.

They arrived in the parking lot of the the restaurant chain. It was known for having the biggest and best burgers everywhere including the multiverse. " We are here. Let's go inside. Hopefully my friend is here by now. " Thea said heading towards the entrance.

Markus quickly finished a few of his burgers before the girl sat opposite him. He raised a brow and almost choked, not expecting her to actually listen to his stupid remarks. 'Damn it, Markus, this is why you should keep your mouth shut....nah, just wing it.' He thought to himself in almost a quarter of a second. He looked up at her, examining her face for a few seconds before raising a brow at her question. "Oh, we're just going to skip the formalities and get straight to the questions?" He chuckled, finishing another sandwich in a few bites. "I do a lot of running; my metabolism is really fast and I need to keep it up. School track team, you know? Or...would you, you're not from around here because I'd know if there was a pretty girl here. Trust me, I would have been rejected by you long ago. Anyway, I'm not drenched in puberty. That went by me pretty fast..."

"But what really is strange..." He began, his foot beginning to tap quietly on the floor as he sat back. "Is that I swear I've seen you before...something about it just seems familiar." He tried his best to slow down his tapping, only making his foot speed up even more. "On another note, I'm sure you didn't come over just because I was tall, blonde and handsome as I ever so humbly put it. You looking for a free meal?"

Jocelyn could instantly tell something was off. At first she thought she was hearing something else, that Superhuman Hearing of hers acted up sometimes, but as it went on she knew for a fact it was coming from the boy across from her. That tapping , continuous tapping, but not just normal tapping, but very, very, very fast tapping. It sounded like the tapping she did when she was nervous, and her abilities began to act up. He definitely wasn't normal. But what could she say? She was half Alien, and her father was a black superman who fought like a maniac, she couldn't be any less normal than he was. She smiled at him slyly, and bit into her sandwich again. "Hm, sports Jock, nice. And you're right, I'm new here . . ." she began to think, and she realized, she didnt have a secret identity. What was she supposed to say? Gladly, however, she escaped having to make up a bullshit story, as the sound of her partners familiar footsteps caught her attention. She turned around to face the young blonde girl, and saw the other girl right behind her. She was happy she was saved from an awkward moment, but she also felt almost disappointed that she had to leave her new friend on such short notice. He wasn't completely boring, what kind of normal guy spent that much on burgers? And planned to eat every single one? "I suppose that's my cue . . . " she muttered as she watched her allies walk through the door. She turned back to the blonde boy, and smiled sadly. "Sorry to be a wet blanket, but that's my ride." She began to stand up, before grabbing a burger quickly, and a napkin. She wrote her number down on it, a bit too fast, but she was sure he wouldn't notice, and tossed it to him. "Au revoir mon ami, j'espère te revoir~!" she said to him, speaking in french. It was a habit of hers, ever since her trip to france with her father not too long ago, and her newfound powerful memory, she could speak French Rather fluently. She walked over to her team mate, and nodded at her, tossing her the extra burger she'd grabbed.

Des really only cared about getting food the offer this girl had didn't really interest her, what did interest her was how she knew who she was, as well she looked nothing like she had about a year ago. The super fast person was already here, that was not surprising. Des did notice that she had been talking to some guy with a ton of hamburgers, it seemed even the normal people in this city were odd. Though of course nothing was quite as odd as her, given her clothes and her hair color so plenty of people were looking in their direction looking rather confused. They were lucky that Des as shaman was a Z list hero and only rarely showed up to do anything and thus was hard to recognize even with her rather obvious look.

" I hope one of you is buying, i don't have money" Des said her tone rather annoyed sounding as if this was all one huge annoyance.
