P Paint The Wind is the Co-GM. She has GMed or Co-GMed every RP in the series. Since I am in the army, I'm not on all day everyday. What she says is law, just like what I say is law. There are aspects that she is better at as a GM (World and Lore) and aspects that I am better at GMing (Magic and action).

If you have a problem, feel free to PM one of us because we moderate this stuff together. I'm nowhere near as strict or uptight as the magic system I made would make you believe

right-o, ill get to writing. i do have a query though - the monastery, is it to a specific element, type of element, etc? is it a natural magic monastery, where only natural monks reside, or perhaps more specific like a fire monastery with fire monks in it etc? Bakuyoshi Bakuyoshi
 
hmm...would a mage be able to sense the 'power level' of other mages? i forget if that is a thing or not in D&D and other such things.
 
A mage can recognize a spell automatically but not so much the method of how it's casted. Example being a Sorceror isn't going to be able to tell a Wizard from a Warlock. He just knows they are mages.

i mean, would a mage be able to sense if another mage is a Master, Apprentice etc?
 
Hmmmm, Depends on the level of magic. That is honestly my best answer. Because a novice isn't going to be casting a high level spell. A master would be able to chuck a bolt of lightning while a novice would probably be working with lower stuff.

That or maybe just how much Mana they give off?
 
Oooooh. She is sensitive to magic yes. She can't tell the cause but she just knows a magic user is around in a very weird way. She gets a tingling sensation.
