Photography Scenery from Ireland

Suggy

Trashbag
I am not a professional photographer, I use my tablet to take photos. Recently decided it'd be nice to share photos I took around my county (mostly only the coast though), when I take more I'll share them
Hook Head

Kilmore Quay
Wexford Town

Reminder that I'm not a professional photographer, so don't expect very high quality photos, it's more just me sharing how beautiful my county is

You may want to change the album permissions if you're wanting these to be public. :0

Can't wait to see more, as I was in Ireland for about a month this past January. I like how in the first picture there are visible layers/terraces in the rock.

Breathtaking ! The closest I've been to the Ireland is when I went to the UK, but I've always wanted to visit. Me and my best friend are hoping to backpack around Europe sometime next year though, so here's hoping ! (No, I've not seen Taken. And unfortunately my dad looks more like a Mexican Mads Mikkelsen than a Liam Neeso)

Anyway, I especially like the third photo. It looks almost professional, except it doesn't rely heavily on HDR or overprocessing so we see its beauty as it is. I know you said you aren't, but looks like you have the eye for it, anyway! I would say if you want your photos to look even better, a good quick edit could be straightening the image/horizon on Photoshop.

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful county!

I have to say I was momentarily confused because I didn't know there was a Kilmore Quay in Wexford and thought of the parish in Cavan, so I couldn't figure out how you got coastline there. I figured it out, though, and learned a new piece of geography!

I'm an American, but when my choir was touring over there in Ireland, we had a joke where we would take a photo with our phones and exclaim "Woah! Somehow my photo turned into a Windows XP background!"

I'll always take the chance to boast about some Northern Ireland scenery:

These are lovely! I'd really like to visit Ireland some day.

I'm glad for tablets and phones with cameras because it means pretty much anyone can pick one up and take a picture of something that catches their eye. No need to be a professional or carry around a separate camera. When I was a kid I loooved taking pictures but digital cameras weren't a thing yet so my parents would always get me disposable cameras that had a roll of film good for like 24 different photos. (It varied, I remember some with larger rolls of film.) I couldn't see how the picture would turn out until after developing, plus I'd have to bug my parents to take the camera in to get developed in the first place. Now it's just "aww yeah that's some cool scenery... click!"

Those pics of Dunluce are much better than the ones I took in January 2017!

If I may share another of my pictures, this was about a year ago at the top of Croagh Patrick. we were lucky that it cleared up so much by the time we got to the top!
