Holly snorted as she got out of the car, her hair falling over her shoulders. “‘Valen’ isn’t allowed as a costume. Gimme a minute and I’ll think of something for us to dress up as.” She said before going into the store and looking through the costume rack.

Myra laughed lightly and nodded. “That sounds delightful.” She sad before glancing around as if to make sure no one was looking in her direction before biting her thumb lightly at Jacob. That set off another fit of giggles before they reached the kitchen. “Thank you for the hot cocoa.” She said to Tori before she took a mug and sipped it lightly, trying to drink as little as possible.

Valen had to keep himself from following Holly like a lost puppy. He instead lingered in the full-body costume area, looking at the different outfits and imagining Holly in them. The first few were funny--Shrek, Trump--but then the costumes started to be labelled "sexy" and Valen immediately blushed and stopped imagining Holly in them. He felt like a creep.

Tori grunted in response as she practically chugged her own hot chocolate. She left the dirty mug in the sink and passed by Jacob and Myra to knock on the door to the study. "Zaaach could you please wash the dishes before you go to sleep?" A sound like a book being thrown at the door ensued and Tori and Jacob laughed.

Holly appeared in front of Valen, a costume in hand and fur sticking up everywhere. “Look at this! This is perfect for you! It’s so cuuuute.” She said in a teasing tone, the costume she had picked up being one of a werewolf. “You gotta at least try it on even if you don’t like it.” She added, a cheeky grin on her face.

Myra laughed as well and sat down her mug, already planning to use the excuse of it being too hot in case Tori asked why she wasn’t drinking it. “Goodnight Tori. Thank you again for the cocoa!”

Valen tried on the costume (which was horrendously overpriced considering it only had a fluffy tail and ears) and puffed out his cheeks like an upset child. "I feel ridiculous..."

"No problem!" Tori called before going down the hall and shutting herself in her room. Jacob started brewing some coffee, and a few minutes later while he was pouring it into yet another mug, Zachary left the study and joined them in the kitchen.

"You're making even more dishes?" he complained while Jacob turned to Myra.

"Sugar? Creamer? Ketchup? What do you like in your coffee?" Zach made a face at Jacob's questions.

"Ketchup...? Ew." The two of them laughed quietly, trying not to disturb Tori even though she was far away. That girl had some super hearing.

“But you look adorable.” Holly said, having already pulled out her phone and was snapping pictures of him before he could protest. “This is definitely the one. It’s so against what you normally wear.” She added, trying to hold in her laughter the best she could. “Gimme a twirl. Strike a pose!”

Myra laughed and thought for a moment. “Two scoops of sugar, lots of creamer, hold the ketchup.” She said, laughing along with them, though not as quietly. “I’ll help with the dishes if you need me to.” She offered, looking over at Zach. She felt bad for making do the dishes that even she had dirtied.

Valen wanted to protest but instead he sighed, knowing he had no choice. He twirled around and then grabbed the fake tail and held it in front of him. His face was flushed from embarrssment and his naturally doe-like eyes made him look like a flustered neko. "Is this what you wanted?" he muttered.

Jacob made the coffee as Myra said and set it in front of her at the bar. (Like, a kitchen with a bar for a counter with barstools and crap) Zach shrugged. "You don't have to, really. You're our guest." A sudden tingling feeling came over him as he began to feel appreciated from Myra's kindness. Suddenly his dialect became a bit higher-pitched almost like a gay boy's. "But I wouldn't mind the company, I guess."

Holly squealed, basically fangirling as she took pictures of him from different angles. “So cute.” She whispered as she looked through the pictures. “Okay, I relieve you of your suffering. But you’re still getting it.” She said before she looked around, still having no clue as to what costume she would choose. “Maybe vampire and werewolf? No? Too stereotypical?”

Myra sipped the coffee, a warm smile on her face as it was just the way she liked it. “I really don’t mind.” She said, setting the coffee down next to her on the bar counter. “At my house, it was always my job to finish up things in the kitchen. So I’ve had to deal with much worse.” She rolled up her sleeves and took her old mug of cocoa to the sink so she could rinse it out so she could go ahead and get a start on the dishes.

Valen crossed his arms and pouted. "I dunno it's your costume. If you wanna wear it then go ahead." He started toying with his fake ears, wanting nothing more than to not have to wear this costume for hours.

Cajsa smirked. "You do you," she said. Cajsa glanced over at Myra as she washed the dishes. She nudged Jacob with an elbow and jerked her chin at Myra's backside. She flashed him a thumbs up and then took Jacob's cup of coffee from his hands and took a long sip before handing it back. Jacob rolled his eyes.

Sexy vampy it is.” Holly said before running off to go find the costume in her size. She came back a moment later and disappeared into the dressing room. There was a long while of silence. She came out a few minutes later in a tight fitting costume. Though she was mostly covered, the ‘sexy’ appeal was still pretty apparent. “I think this one looks good. What do you think?” She asked, looking up at Valen with genuinely innocent eyes. “I couldve gotten one MUCH worse. There was one costume that was literally just a bra and a thong with a bat on it.” She added, a light laugh escaping her lips.

Myra was done washing the dishes that were in the sink within a couple minutes. Once she was finished, she wiped her hands off on her jeans and turned back around to face Jacob and Zach. “See? Didn’t take too long at all.” She said with a smile, her hands reaching behind her so she could tie her hair up into a loose ponytail, her neck now exposed. She leaned across the counter in front of them so she could pick up her mug and take another sip of coffee. “So are you two going to be staying up much longer?” She asked, not wanting to be up by herself.

Valen nodded. "It looks nice." He was glad Holly hadn't gothen anything more revealing because he might have gotten a nosebleed, blushed bright pink, and run down the aisle.

"I'll stay up if you will," Cajsa said, her voice suggesting flirtation. However, she didn't wink. Jacob shrugged.

"I don't usually go to sleep for another hour."

Holly smiled, glad to have gotten his approval. “Could you unzip me? I barely got the zipper all the way up with the end of a hanger.” She asked, light blush dusting across her cheeks as she was embarrassed to ask him for such a thing, but she really couldn’t reach it.

Myra couldn’t help but blush lightly as she detected the hint of flirtation in Zach’s voice. “W-Well what do you guys wanna do while we stay up?” She asked, mentally cursing at herself from stuttering. She got flustered pretty easily, but she was normally good at hiding it.

Valen blushed and glanced around. "We're in a store! I can't unzip you in public...!" He ducked his head anxiously, letting his hair fall in front of his face. "Uh... should we just go to the dressing room and I do it? And then wait for you outside the room?"

Cajsa grinned, glad to know that Myra was flustered. Then a tingle rushed through her and Zachary came to consciousness. He yawned. "We usually split up and I read in the study while Jacob does... whatever he does." He glanced at his friend, who winked.

"Take a gander what I do." He laughed while Zach fake gagged. "But really, I typically lounge around and watch old movies. The house is really peaceful at night."

Holly looked around, literally only the store owner being the only person in the vicinity of them, the rest of the building completely empty. “If it’d make you more comfortable, we can do that.” She said, stepping into the dressing room and holding the door open for him to follow her. “I get why you wanna undress me in private, you sly dog.” She teased, winking at him just to fluster the poor boy further.

“We should watch a movie. That’d be fun, right?” She suggested, glancing between the two of them as a wave of relief washed over her as she’d noticed that the sudden flirty nature of Zach had vanished. “What movies do you have? Maybe I’ve heard of one or two.”

Valen's mouth opened and closed like a fish. "Y-Y-- Was that a pun?" he stammered, not even sure what to say. He hurriedly went to her back and unzipped her before stepping into the regular store. He took off the ears and tail, still blushing fiercely.

"Tonight I'm feeling in the mood for Monty Python and the Holy Grail. How about you guys?" Jacob suggested. Zach shrugged.

"I've no qualms with your choice," Zach said. Jacob looked at him like he was a freak.

"Qualms?? Dude... You're such a nerd sometimes."

“Maybe!” Holly teased, stripping off the costume before coming out of the dressing room, the costume tucked under her arm as she buttoned up her shirt, the last 4 still unbuttoned as she stood next to Valen. This gave him a perfect view into her shirt, her innocent lace white bra visible. She always tried to act all tough and experienced, but she was quite shy and uncorrupted. “C’mon you know you liked it.” She said, it sounding like she was talking about her bra, but in fact she was still on the topic of the pun.

“There’s nothing wrong with being a nerd.” Myra protested, her arms crossing as it was chilly in the living room. “I appreciate your mature and educational vocabulary, Zach.” She said, nudging him softly before taking a seat in the middle of the couch. “And that movie sounds good to me.” She added in regards to Jacob’s recommendation.

Valen kept from looking her way, too embarrassed to. "Let's just pay and leave, alright?"

Zach and Jacob sat on the 4 seater leather couch in the center of the large living room. It was parallel to the large flatscreen TV. Zach got some white fleece blankets from a cabinet nearby while Jacob threw amother log into the fireplace and put the movie on. Then they settled on either side of the couch, leaving enough room in the middle for Myra to lay down in.

“I can pay for everything. Since I’m kinda forcing you to go.” She said, taking out her wallet and getting out all the cash she had. She went to the counter and paid for both the costumes before returning to Valen’s side. “You should crash at my house. So I can prepare you for all the fun we’re gonna have tomorrow!” She said, shaking Valen once more like she had in the car.

Myra curled up in the middle, not wanting to take up more room than she needed to. As she watched the movie, she could feel her eyes getting heavier and heavier as it dragged on. The acting was pretty bad, and so was the quality, so there wasn’t much that was keeping her awake. As more time passed, she began sliding over towards Zach, as her consciousness slipped, so did her strength to hold herself up straight. After a few minutes of struggling to stay awake, she finally gave up, her head falling on his shoulder and her arms holding onto his unconsciously like a stuffed animal. She murmured something under her breath, it consisting of him being warm or comfy, something of that kind.

"Won't your parents disapprove? Or... do you live alone?" Valen was a year older than typical high school seniors, and he lived by himself. His mom had died when he was young, but the woman who originally turned him into a werewolf (and saved his life) raised him until he turned 17.

Zach was surprised by the sudden weight on his shoulder. He glanced over and saw Myra curling up against him and couldn't help an amused smile. He slowly lifted his arm and draped it over Myra's shoulders, pulling her closer. Jacob was too into the movie to notice, and by the time it was over and he looked over, Zach had dozed off and he and Myra were practically cuddling.

“Oh yeah you’re right... I forgot about them..” she said, thinking for a moment. “What about your house? Would your parents mind? I could just tell mine that I’m sleeping at a friends house.”

Myra buried her face in the crook of Zach’s neck, her nose breathing in the light scent of cologne that caused her to smile softly in her sleep. She curled up into an even tighter ball, her body subconsciously trying to stay as close to the unknown warmth
as possible. She knew somewhere in the back of her mind that she was cuddling with a stranger and that she should probably pull away and go to her designated room, but she was so tired that she couldn’t move.

"Uh..." Valen was reluctant to drop the my-dad-never-wanted-me-and-my-mom-died bomb on this girl he barely knew. "I live alone, but it's a one bedroom apartment. I'll take the couch, I guess." He grabbed the bags after they paid and started towards the car.

Jacob smirked and stood, moving over to the pair. He pulled his blanket over them so that they'd stay warm and then he went and closed the spark grate in the fireplace so they wouldn't be cold but the house wouldn't catch on fire. "Zach's finally gonna get some..." he said, laughing softly as he went to his room. ~timeskip to morning~

“Ooo Valen’s a grown maaaan!” Holly cooed as she got into the car, the bags being tossed in the back seat. “Living all alone so you can bring home your lady friends~” she added, a smirk on her face before it went completely blank. “WAIT-“ she gasped and covered her face. “I’M your lady friend!!” She yelled, her face a deep shade of red behind the cover of her hands. There was that innocent side of her again. It was adorable even though she hated it.

Myra groaned as the bright winter sun shined in her eyes from the windows. She went to turn over, to hide from its light, but she found that she couldn’t move. She scrunched up her face and let out a little groan in annoyance before blinking her eyes open narrowly. “The heck-?” She muttered before she froze, her entire body growing hot with embarrassment as she was centimeters away from Zach’s sleeping face. “Oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god!” She whispered, her eyes looking around frantically for a way to escape this predicament before he woke up.

Valen glanced at her with alarm at first because he didn't understand why it was such a big deal to her, but then he laughed after seeing her face. "I'm technically a year behind in school. So I'm a 19 year old senior." He then thought to address the rest of what she'd said. "And I typically don't take people to my apartment. At all."

Myra was fidgeting a ton, so Zach made a little grunt sound and sat up straight, moving his arms from around her into his lap. He stretched a bit before opening his eyes. "What's the problem?" he asked, voice lower than yesterday from sleep.

“SO I REALLY AM THE LADY FRIEND!! OF A MAN!” She squealed, curling up into a ball in the passenger seat and burning her face into her knees, her shoulder shaking as she laughed. Whether she actually found it funny, or it was a nervous reaction, she didn’t know. But she was laughing quite a lot. She sat up after a minute, her eyes welling up with tears from her sudden fit of laughter. “You’re so old!” She wailed before she begin giggling all over again.

“P-problem? There’s not problem here! Why would there be a problem?” She squeaked as she scrambled to the other side of the couch before standing up. “I need to shower. I should probably shower. Where’s your shower?” She asked, getting more and more as she continued to babble uncontrollably. She looked at him, her hands holding the sides of her shirt, her teeth digging into her lower lip as she anxiously awaited his answer so she could leave as quickly as possible.

"I'm only about a year older than you!" he muttered. She always picked on him
(We should just timeskip to the next morning to keep it on track with the other rp)

"You went to the bathroom yesterday and there's a shower in there," Zach replied, sounding confused about how she had forgotten.

“That’s still older!” She retorted. ~Timeskip to morning~
“VAAAAALENNNNN!” Holly screeched before she pounced, him still having been asleep on the couch. She landed on top of him with a crash before she began laughing, seemingly proud of herself for being able to ambush him.

“Ha ha right! I completely forgot! I’m reslly stupid sometimes.” She said, smacking her head before quickly hurrying off to the bathroom, the door slamming behind her.
