Experiences Most Uncomfortable Roleplay?

The time my character was brainwashed then involved in sex trafficking without clear approval beforehand. It escalated to a point I had to stop the RP and politely asked to not go into the very rape-like behavior it was headed. The partner of about six months then removed me from his contacts without warning a few days after./SPOILER]
AAAAAND things just keep getting WORSE! God dang these people are awful? Where did they get internet back in the mental hospital?!

I don't have anything quite so bad in particular.. But, I always feel like it gets so awkward when someone misreads something or glances over it, like a line of dialogue or movement. Everything jumbled up and suddenly my character seems to be in two places.
This is mostly in group RPs xP

I've done a lot of moderation work for RP servers and the likes.

People don't realize we can read their uh... intimate RP that they're trying to be sneaky about.

Banned a few people over that.

Note: Trying very hard not to go into detail here. For sanity's sake.

I'm of age and sometimes I just want to get involved in some low-effort...er, 18+ writing. I don't even find it a bother or that appealing, but my character was going through this super rough spot and worked at a seedy bar as one of the on-call guys for some extra change and a place to sleep.

Before that night, he'd worked with a few people and it was mostly fade to black or one liners and I could browse the net in between waiting for my partner to reply. For reference, this is in GW2, and I play a small sylvari (basically a plant elf) and the guy who comes in is a big furry charr (a hulking fur covered cat beast with horns).

Well, nobody else wanted to approach him and I felt bad, so my character gussied him up and it led to private chat after confirming he was 18+ and I thought it would be like any other time where I'd pay half a mind to the RP, so long as the other guy was having a good time. It started off okay and then...let's just say he had a thing for feet. Big furry charr feet. I ended up asking to fade to black after half an hour or trying to find something appealing about the RP I was writing.

I started to be more discerning of who I engaged in that IC environment from that day on.

I was in a roleplay when my partner kept introducing so many heavy topics. I don't mind heavy topics, but it just got to the point where there where no light moment. It mostly just felt so melodramatic.

I haven't been in too many bad RP's, nut there was this one which could have been quite neat. Not talking about the story here, as it's not important. But gosh damn, my partners female character was one CLINGY BITCH. EVERYWHERE my character was, she appeared out of nowhere. My character feels bad? Worry no more! Bitchy McBitchbitch is there to support him! Like god damn it, stop being with my character 24/7. If my character struggled with doing sth, she appreared and solved the problem like she was a stupid ass mage. "Swoosh, no more problems! :* ". she was the PERFECT character. No flaws at-fucking-all! Oh my fucking god, it went so far that I was literally thinking about killing off my character. I felt so bad for my character of my god. He didn't deserve this :(

I once had a roleplay a couple years that was a typical forbidden romance with my partner and I's characters on different sides of a war...at least that's what it was supposed to be. No matter what sort of conflict I tried to include because my partner did nothing to move the story, he comes out of nowhere to fix everything in a flash. It eventually got to the point where my character, who was a level-headed strategic warrior, was nothing but a damsel in distress for apparently God. Not only that, but he kept trying to force the romance and make a lot of NSFW scenes (Even controlled my character occasionally to do it.) Is it dumb that I somewhat got afraid of doing romance after that for a while cause I didn't want something like that happening again?

Oh gods that sound TERRIBLE. That has to suck MAJORLY.

It did. Eventually he stopped replying to me though, and it was the first time I was happy to be dropped with no warning. I was honestly about to drop him to anyway because of what he'd been doing and not listening to anything.

I am not entirely sure how I got into this situation, but here it goes:

I remember wanting to RP something Warrior Cats related because I had just read the entire main series and was craving for it, and then I met a person that was also into it, I don't remember from where, but until there it was fine.
I think we were on Skype and they made the starter post, which started in a hot spring for some reason (maybe should have been a sign that something was weird), the cats were in the water swimming which was fine, but then a couple posts later ( I hate that I remember this) they type a post saying their character is watching a couple of humans having sex in the hot spring.... Yes, you heard it right and are not going insane.

So I stop, shocked. Stare at my screen for a while and then express my confusion and slight disgust. The reply I get is something along the lines 'What else did you expect to happen in a hot spring?' which seemed to hint that this is what I was expected to do with my character next. I cut it right there.
I had never agreed to this, it's not even what Warrior Cats stands for! I was expecting a battle or something like that and I had never ever been asked about my preferences or anything. There had been absolutely no warning!

They realized their mistake and apologised ofc, we were friends, but there was always a weird tension between us until we stopped talking altogether. I have no idea where that person is now and probably don't want to know.

I don't think I've ever been more uncomfortable in my life! >~<

When I start a roleplay with someone and their writing is just terrible. Like their OOC is either fine or mildly questionable, but they start writing replies and their writing is just miserable and they either can't make decent sentences or anything remotely interesting, or their replies don't acknowledge what my character does or says at all.

There's no way I've found to politely make it clear in interest checks that I want somebody who can write fairly well. Then I'm stuck in a story with replies that are actually painful to read

I was planning a love triangle in this rp with one of my ex-friends. Now, this isn't something that happened in the rp, but what the person said to me while we were planning. So my guy was her female character's best friend. The girl's ex-boyfriend (also both characters' ex-best friend) was basically stalking her and he wanted to kill my character. I said something like"oh, your character should definitely get with MC because your male character is a stalker." And what she said next still has me shocked... She said she found stalkers sexy????????????????????????????????? oKAY she said some other weird things... idek anymore

i've, unfortunately, encountered quite a few that either quickly turned sour, my partner left without word or it began to turn sexual despite various in-character warnings not to.
the latter tended to be the most awkward, however, as 3 in 4 of my partners would always persist further until i had to forcefully intervene and scold them. it's...not very pleasant, i suppose.
having things forced on you like that, whether it be innocently or not, isn't very delightful.
