Spooky Writing Contest 2017 Questions and discussion go here!

I assume we'll be posting our entries as threads within this sub-forum like what was done for the bbcode contest?

Yes please. There's a Submissions prefix for that purpose. ^33^

Are there any requirements to enter, such as age or where you’re from?

The only reason I’m asking is because I’m also on Wattpad, and you have to be 13+ and be from certain areas of the world to enter the most recent writing contest

Hmmm! Would it be possible for me and my friend on this site to work together to write a story, and we split the credit? How would that affect judgement time?

So is there, like, complete, COMPLETE freedom? No requirements at all?

The only requirements are listed here. In short, the stories must be completely original, have a creepy theme, and comply with the normal RpN rules. No age limits or anything, because you aren't winning any "real world" prizes -- winners will receive a Halloween-themed award badge that goes on their profile.

What if we were planning on doing homework from October 20th to November 13th, giving 2 days for cushion to submit?

You can take as long (or as short) as you want to write it. It just has to be posted by/on the 15th.

No no I was saying that all plans of doing homework in this time period just fluttered out the window wooooo
But seriously, can we have help if we credit them?

For now it's only single authors. We'll discuss it, and if we change our minds we'll let you know. But for now just stick to a single author ;P

Am i able to post right now? As in, are we waiting before anyone posts?
