Anime & Manga What manga do you wish they would make into an anime?

There's a manhua I started reading called Blades of the Guardians (Biaoren), and I think it'd be really cool as an anime. Especially if it was in the art style of something like GANGSTA. or Hellsing/Drifters.

Ik this is thread is old, but one I would like to see eventually become an anime in time (not now because it is still early on) is The Promised Neverland, holy crap this is probably one of the best mystery and suspense Shonen Mangas that have come out in a while. It would really work as an anime as long as it was adapted properly.

All You Need is Kill. They made a live action version of this one and screwed up the story and changed the name. The movie has Tom Cruise in it. It's called Live Die Repeat, Edge of Tomorrow.

Technically a Manwha and not a manga but would love to see Veritas finished and animated. Aside from that mainly that they would do proper adaptations of Claymore, Rosario+Vampire and a bunch more.

Eh. Edge of Tomorrow was a really good adaptation and also had a way better ending than the manga imo.

For actually contributing to some of the discussion, I think Liar Game has to be one that needs to be made into an anime but probably never will. Just due to the fact that the story is finished and on top of that m received a well written and executed K-Drama adaptation.

That's debatable. I know how most people want a happy ending, but I feel the ending should have remained true to the original. However, the Mimics were better in the live action.

Not too sure if this is well-known anymore, but Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer (otherwise known as Samidare of the Stars or Hoshi no Samidare.) Sadly, I scarcely hear anybody talk about it and has little to none news for an upcoming anime adaption. The manga itself has a few flaws, but mostly those are just a rocky beginning and a rough drawing style (the latter of which becomes slightly endearing and can even be considered a strength of the manga.)

Well, now that they've started making Maximum Ride manga, I'd love to see it adapted as anime. It'd probably turn out a thousand times better than the live-action movie.

Not technically a Manga, as the Manga is based on a Game.

Monster Hunter. And no, I am not talking about Monster Hunter Stories, which has an Anime Adaption.

Well technically it already has an anime, just a bad one. It's Tokyo Ghoul and subsequently Tokyo Ghoul:re, which...last chapter doesn't even feel real, it's hard to believe this is how it ends. It can't be. That fight couldn't have been off screened.

I'm definitely not a big fan of how the :re series ended. I'm hoping for more to go off of...it's just left too much to still be covered.

Still two more chapters left in the current volume. So there's still a silver lining (maybe). I elaborated on this a little further in a separate post. But yeah way too many loose ends. Hirako, Ui, the rest of the zero squad, the scouting team, Kanou. I hope the Anti CCG comes to the rescue to kick Furuta's ass again.

I have quite a few but I got to say one of my favorites is a lesser known manga named From Far Away. or the Japanese title is Kanata Kara. A strong female lead, a attractive male character and the growth between them is so cute. Being thrown into a world thats strange and being chased down by everyone because they are the beings that will destroy the world. Making friends and keeping their secret while at the same time helping the world where they could. Full of twists and turns it left me breathless. I still reread it to this day.

Anything by Junji Ito. We need genuinely good horror in anime. Shows like Another just do not cut it for me.

Also an actual dedicated adaptation of Negima with a decent animation budget. The half hearted attempts that were made to try and adapt it so far, be it Negima! or the even more inferior Negima!? do not cut it in my opinion. Some of the Ova's made for it were good, but even they only tease at what the anime could really be like. This should be considered especially with UQ Holder, it's direct sequel getting an anime adaption.

Maximum Ride! They may have messed up the real-life adaptation, but it's hard to mess up the anime. >.>
