Fandom Soul Eater: Requiem of Tindalos

Kathryn shrugged and popped one of the chocolate pieces in her mouth, shrugging as Isaac's question. "I guess we'll fine out," She said simply just as their teacher came in. Her eyes widened at his eccentric entrance and giggled. Maybe this year wouldn't be so bad after all! She caught the folder Stein threw her and opened it, her eyes quickly skimming the mission information. Unlike her other classmates, she was used to missions like this, so she wasn't bothered or fazed at all. She then closed the folder and nodded at Isaac. "Sure, let's go!" She bottled up her nail polish and put it in her bag, then popped some more chocolate in her mouth, running ahead of her partner.

Luna listened before providing a nod of acknowledgement. She was sure that if they couldn't handle it, which seemed strangely unlikely, then their fail-safe team would.

The mission briefing was awfully...Mischievous. However, she didn't plan on talking against it. She never did. In response to Kiari, she provided a nod, silence being her long-loved partner.

Although she was usually always ready, she needed the agreement of her team before hand. After all, they were all partners.

After Stein gave them very short talk about the mission he soon left without another word. She was about to say something to her team but Ashimar caught her attention. She looked over at him irritated by his comments. "Who you calling kids!? Besides we'll be fine on our own it's not like we need your help!" She crossed her arms. She looked over at Luna who seemed to be waiting on this answer. "Yeah I'm ready you guys are." She said smiling at her. Merui had wondered why Luna was always so silent. She had tried getting her to talk but it usually didn't work. But she determined to get that girl to stop being so silent.

Sighing, Ashimar got out of his seat, and was the first one (after Stein) to leave the room. "Well, I'm ready... Let's get this pointless mission over and done with..." He muttered, walking out the door. "Kiari, let's go. Where are we all meeting?" He asked. Clearly, Ashimar wanted everything to be over and done with, so he could return to playing his games. He was annoyed enough that he was interrupted.

"You know, they're sending us because they expect something to go wrong. Not just in case," Kiari commented as she joined Ashimar. "I mean, they could have sent a teacher to babysit, they do it all the time. But a death scythe and their meister? A little bit of over kill for insurance. There are plenty of other missions they could have sent us on that make more sense but this...you gotta wonder." She then paused, "I don't know. Stein gave....Kathryn, i think, the file. Which you know, has all The stuff we need to know." LostHaven LostHaven

"I know. This 'mission' is going to turn into an absolute disaster. They wouldn't send us to helo some students on some mission with a gang. Any third-rate kid could beat the shit out of a gang." He replied, looking back at his meister. "Still though. I doubt it'll be too serious. If this was really bad, they would've probably gotten Stein to go. Glue a Death-Scythe onto him, and Stein's more terrifying than the sight of me drinking water." He added, glancing back at Kiari. He kept his mouth shut as Kiari said something about the file Stein gave Kathryn. "We'll all know once we all meet up." He muttered. "Still though. If these creatures that's been lurking around the place are really dangerous, they'd probably send the people who took out the Kishin last year."

Orwell was ready for the mission he finishes his energy drink. "Yea I'm ready to go." He looks at Merui as she gives her speech. "Merui, you're 13 so you still kind of are a kid. Also, the only reason a Death Scythe goes on a mission with students is that there will probably trouble that they cant handle. I would much rather they have to intervene than have you or Luna die. I'll make sure that doesn't happen but there is always someone better than you. That applies to everyone even Lord Death." He starts to walk out of the classroom but stops at the energy drink he tried to give Ashimar. "I mean if he doesn't want it ill take it back. I paid for it anyway." He opens it and drinks it slowly.

"Eh, they're off doing a mission somewhere, won't be back for a while. So I guess we were the next best choice," Kiari said with a shrug. "You think they'll actually listen to.us of shit hit a the fan? I remember last time we did this, nobody thought it was a good idea to listen to is and we ended up saving the day. Nearly died doing it though, ungrateful bastards."
 
Isaac turns to Kathryn as they walk down the hallway. "So, what's the file say? What are we likely to face, mission parameters, etc.? I do not want a repeat of our last escort mission; that was highly unpleasant." He pops another chocolate drop in his mouth.

Merui was clearly not liking Orwell saying she was still kind of kid. She rolled her eyes after he was done talking and crossed her arms. "Yeah yeah," She then stood up and stretched her arms and started to follow Orwell out. She then stopped and turned towards Luna. She smiled at her. "Come on Luna." She then turned back around getting ready to head out.

Luna blankly followed. It wasn't really that she didn't want to talk-

Er...It was, but also the fact that she didn't really know how else to contribute. She herself was more or less a kid, but enough to match with higher leveled meister-weapon pairs. She may as well just be bragging, so better to keep quiet and agree.

She glanced up, her attention caught by Merui. She nodded quickly, hurrying to catch up from behind.

Kathryn looked up from the file. "It seems to be fairly easy, actually. The person is a meister, we just have to escort them across some dangerous territory, but the monsters aren't anything we can't handle!" She smirked. "I don't think anything could be as bad as that..." She closed the file and suddenly stopped talking when the topic changed, her features darkening.

"Eh, fuck that. I reckon we could just sit and watch. Stein said it was just garden-variety gang stuff. I doubt anything could go THAT wrong with taking out a gang. And that level-two meister can probably take care of the monsters... I think Stein made us go to annoy us..." Ashimar paused for a while, thinking back to his first two weeks at the DWMA. He remembered when his partner had to perform soul-resonance with him, and neither of them knew the full extent of Ashimar's abilities of a Death-Scythe, and when they had been so surprised when the scythe-blade had been engulfed in a blazing inferno. His partner almost killed himself, and apparently, things weren't much different with Kiari. They had almost gotten themselves killed on more than one occasion, usually due to lack of coordination, or they were arguing in the middle of battle... "Well, I guess we'll wait for the others outside..." He muttered to himself, heading toward the front of the DWMA, where those goddamned stairs were.

She shrugged, "Knowing him, that's probably why we're going. I swear, he has it out for us," Kiari replied, raising both arms above her head stretching her back. Her knuckles and elbows popped, before her arms dropped back to her sides. "Lets just hope we don't have to resonate if we need to step in. I like this sweatshirt. And the bra," She said throwing him a small glare. Her normal mission ouyfuy was flame proof, like herself. Normal clothes were a different story, and the few times before when theyneeded to her normal clothes burnt up. But only ever just her top which she swears up and down he did on purpose. Of course, it could just be all one big coincidence. LostHaven LostHaven
