Realistic or Modern Villains and Heroes: Eternal Strife

The Golden General

The "Leader" of the ROBLOX Immmigrants
Villains and Heroes: Eternal Strife
(Introduction by Amoradon Amoradon with a few edits by The Golden General The Golden General )
May 24th, 2035:
The night is silent. Nothing stirs across a big, urban city. A light breeze rustles the green leaves of the trees.
There seems to be a disturbance in the air. A whistling, a hissing. Yet the wind remains slow, gentle, peaceful.
The hissing increases in volume, and a series of tiny particles begin to accumulate on the roof of a warehouse, forming a single footprint. From behind the buildings, from within the bushes, from above the clouds, the specks of darkness come together, forming into a foot. A leg. A body.
A woman steps forth onto the rooftop, as a few final flakes settle into place. She smiles.
That's when the building beneath her explodes into a fireball. The woman disintegrates instantly, reforming on the edge of the explosion.
"I knew you'd be here."
A man appears, within the ruins. Despite the massive explosion, he's completely unharmed.
"So you found my old hunting grounds, did you?"
"Old?" He snorts. "Then why'd you come back?"
"That doesn't concern you."
"I'm afraid it does, just as it concerns all of the heroes within MegaMetro." He steps forward, the broken glass within the warehouse crunching beneath his feet. As the man emerges into the light, his appearance becomes clear. He's wearing a set of elaborate armor, red and golden, with a cape. His helmet is open faced, and looks a bit like a samurai helmet. Embedded in his chest plate is a fireball motif.
"Still as flashy as ever, I see?" the woman says, with a cruel sneer.
"Well, when you work on the right side of the law, you can afford to spend a little extra. Still as insolent as ever, I see?" he replies.
"I'm not some phony PG superhero like you. I can afford to dish out some sass."
The two size one another up, even as they trade remarks.
"Well, let's get right to it," he says, but she's a step ahead of him. Already, her whole body has disintegrated back into dust.
The flame symbol on the man's chest lights up, and his eyes begin to glow with a fiery light.
A knife forms behind the warrior, but he easily deflects it, only for the blade to vanish once more.
"You can't hurt me, but I can hurt you..." Her voice is a buzz, emitted from a million floating particles.
"We'll see about that!" The air around the man erupts into flames. They form an orb before him, and the warrior reaches in, before pulling out a flaming whip.
"Try and escape this!" he shouts. His eyes shoot out beams of fire, and as he looks for her, they scorch trails in the ground. Within seconds, a good blaze has started up on the warehouse floor.
"You're too predictable!" the buzz replies, and suddenly the man is hoisted up into the air by invisible particles. Yet there's no chance for the woman to administer a finishing blow, because the man's body erupts in tongues of fire, forcing her to drop him back down. The man lands on his feet, and the woman partially reforms in front of him. With shouts of fury, the two charge at one another, whip on knife, fire on shadow, hero on villain as it has been for years in:

MegaMetro, the City of Superhumans...

UPDATE: HEAD WRITER ROLE IS OPEN!

NOT interested. My god, General, who on Earth do you work with? That introduction was so shoddy.
...oh wait...

I could see myself being interested in this. I have three character ideas already. A hero, a neutral/vigilante, and a mild villain.

I can fill in the spot if you're still looking.
In the end, everyone who joins will be involved with the plot in one way. This RP is mainly based off plot but since this is a superhuman RP, there will be combat. The writer role is just to manage the plot.

I've been a part of a couple plot driven superhuman roleplays in the past. It's fine if you don't need somebody but if you do then I'm here.
