I never noticed it was a mixture of the two, nice catch. I've just never really liked the design of Drowzee, so that probably contributes.

Ah, that might be it. I always liked the Drowzee design a lot more than the Hypno. Come to think of it, probably the only reason I decided on a Hypno for a character would be because I found a really picture of one, and fell in love with it.

I've always liked Hypno, but I can't stand Drowzee. I actually have a funny story about that, which I'll tell when I get off work (shouldn't be more than 15 minutes.) But I've always liked cool/badass Pokémon, cute Pokemon, and "attractive" Pokemon, but never really liked the gross ones, such as Drowzee.

Lol, Drowzee never seemed gross to me. Funny how we think so differently. I just never liked the Hypno's nose.

Alright! Story time!
So you may remember when I asked Latios about breeding and how it works in this universe. Part of that, of course, was the Latixs issue, but I was also thinking, of course, about April and Arcanus when, assuming the time comes, for mating to be a concern.
Now, my first thought was, by the game's logic, they couldn't have a kid at all. Boring, but simple. So I started to play out the alternative ideas. Assuming we did away with egg groups, which we now know we aren't:
Mother's species. Downside is pretty obvious: Arcanus never has kids of his own species. Next one:
Hybrid of the two. Downside: I thought about a hybrid Pidgey and Drowzee for about half a second before vomiting in my mouth and deciding not to think of it ever again. Next one:
50/50 split. The only, ONLY reason I was against this is because I thought, "April is such a majestic bird creature. Here's her child, this disgusting fat blob with a trunk."

I actually HAVE thought of a loophole so that they can "have kids," but I'm not sure how much you'd like it.

Haha, I dunno. I think I'll probably just want to stick to the logic that's already been established. If they want kids, adoption is always a thing.

I considered that. Problem with that is that this is a human society with slightly smarter animals, essentially. So basically, Nathan would be adopting their child.
I mean, I say that like it's a huge downside, but no possible option has no downside, so yeah. It IS still probably one of the better options.

Haha. Either way, I think we're good the way it is, no need for loopholes. It makes the most sense, imo.

Ah, well, it's your choice as much as it is mine, and I'm cool with that, so we'll go with that. I mean, it's unlikely it'll even happen within the roleplay, possibly only in like an epilogue post. I mean, April and Arcanus could possibly discuss it during the RP, but them actually having a kid probably wouldn't, so it's not even that important of a discussion.

Also, I'd like to throw out an idea. Typically, roleplays when they end (however rarely that may be) will have like a single epilogue post for each character. Instead, I posit we do an epilogue section. About one day IRP set anywhere between months and years later where the characters go about there lives, maybe planning and enacting a get-together, and instead of one post, we all fully roleplay one day.
I just feel like, even where we are now, one or two posts each wouldn't do us justice, and we're only about halfway through I imagine.

I don't think I fully understand what you're saying, but... I think I get the gist of it. And I agree, that'd be a really neat ending.

Basically, instead of one post at the end for each of us, we have one full day. We interact out an entire day (but only one day, to make sure the roleplay actually ends instead of going on into infinity and invariably dying.) That way, we get more insight into every bit of their modern life. What are April and Arcanus doing, how are the kids (both Orion and Darin and April/Arcanus's, if they have kids) what's Nathan up to, what's Genesis doing, how are the lives of Emlas and Latios changed with Edron back, is everyone still connected, or did they go their own ways, how has Amber's Death changed Nathan and gang's home life?
It's hard to cram all that stuff into a single post, but a single day? It's not too long, but it gives us some last good closure with each other as roleplayers as things wind down to a close, and makes sure we get all the smaller details by having more time to flesh it out.

Latios, Emlas, Edron, Draka... even Eclipse. So don't make yours disappear to. Besides. Your numbers are already thinning and shouldn't thin too far.
