Anime & Manga Your first EVER anime! ^^

It was either Pokemon or Sailor Moon, but the show that really got me into watching anime regularly was Inuyasha. I love my demon boi.

Depends on whether Studio Ghibli could be considered anime... In my opinion, it is -- but I guess the first anime series I actually watched would've been Tokyo Mew Mew back when I was real young. (At least, as far as I can remember.)

Duel Masters (used to enjoy that anime, but I don't have a single card of that)
A shounen-school anime that is PG-13 that aired in our local channel in local dubbed version, can't remember the title
Code Geass (I loved that anime, now I have to watch it again)

Gibli is definitely count as anime. Anime is abbreviation for animation so anything that is animated count as anime by japanese actually be it stop motion or puppet show or cartoon. They even call cartoons as western anime and comic books as western manga but for some reason there is an elitist group in western audience that does not accept anything that is not done by japanese as anime or manga. Long story short if it is animated and originated from east asia (because chinses and korean are getting into market too) than it is anime.

The first ever must have been either Bayblade or Yu-Gi-Oh! I had a the biggest gay crush on Kai from Bayblade when I was a kid.

The first I watched as an adult getting into the anime scene I think is Naruto. I remember it being one of the first things I roleplayed.

the first anime i ever heard of was dbz, found the budokai games after digging through my brother's old ps2 stash.
first anime i ever watched was pokemon, very generic ;(

The first ever anime I watched was Ace Attorney, then followed up by The Lost Village. I didn't start with anything popular.

Well I started watching anime at a very young age ( at the age of 1 year) so I really don't remember. But I think it's
Yu Yu Hakusho and Pokemon. And oh yeah ,Dragon Ball Z

I made the horrible, horrible mistake of watching Neon Genesis Evangelion as my very first anime. Terribly frustrating and depressing, though definitely a worthwhile show.

Dragon Ball Z was my "first" anime in that I watched it first. But sword art online was the first one I watched knowing that it was an anime.

I don't remember ,_,.

I've seen so many over the years and I've been watching Anime since before I even like 7 so...

Mine would have to be between Pokemon (if you want to count that), Dragonball Z, and Tenchi Muyo. Old school Toonami FTW!!

Ummm... "first anime" depends on whether we're considering the first anime I happened to see on TV, or the first anime I actively sat down and watched. In the first case it would probably be Dragonball or something like that. As for the second case it's either Inuyasha, Naruto, or Sailor Moon. I got into anime in middle school and Inuyasha and Naruto were incredibly popular at the time. (Though I'm not sure their popularity has decreased much.)

DBZ, Pokemon, Digimon were childhood favorites.

The first anime I seriously watched was Bleach though. I loved it at the time, I still think it had awesome characters/art but the story was lacking. Soon after that, I started to read a lot of manga that I'm still really fond of (Deadman Wonderland, all of Junji Ito's stuff, etc). Right now I keep up with My Hero Academia and Tokyo Ghoul: Re. And my online friends got me into the Fate series and I've been absolutely adoring that too!

I'm pretty sure it was fairy tail? Tale? Ugh I still don't know
Is it Fairy tale
Or Fairy taill?
