Niklaus looked at her like she was silly, "That is not something a future long would like to hear, so close to being crowned." He teased

Ari giggled. "Well too bad, because it's true. Besides there's nothing wrong with being cute." She says with a playful grin. "Like...bears are cute but they're viscous and dangerous." She says.

Niklaus smirked, looking at her, "I feel like you are more then bear then I am." He pointed out.

Ari laughed and shrugged. "Perhaps. But then what would you be I wonder?" She says, pretending to think. "A wolf perhaps." She says.

Niklaus smirked, "Well, they are very cool, no matter how you look at them." He half teased, before pulling away, as he finally noticed the change of the music. "Seems like it's nearly time to say good night."

Ari looked around and smiled. "Yes, it would seem so." She curtsied deeply and with respect this time. "I look forward to seeing you during the week." She says gently.

Niklaus grinned, "I look forward to seeing you yomorrow." He assured her before he moved to go speak with his parents.

Ari watched him go, still smiling to herself and then she turned and disappeared into the crowd. She then slipped outside the front and tilted her head up to the night sky.

Gideon had allowed himself to become absorbed with his magic. He turned to her abruptly and then looked to the palace. He nodded some. "Yes, of course. Let's." he says.

Astrid sighed as she got up, she had been with the tree most of the tome, closing her eyes as she felt the light of life.

Gideon gently motioned forward and then followed next to her as they walked back to the palace. Once inside his parents approached him and he glanced to Astrid one more time before looking to them.
"How sweet you two are getting along." He father says. There was something in his tone though that suggested he didn't believe it for one moment. His mother on the other hand was looking to Astrid curiously. She could feel that a lot of power came from this girl, as much as what she could feel from her son. "The reception is coming to an end, I do believe it is time you two finish the process alone. Please do remember that we need heirs as soon as possible." He says with an almost cruel smile. Gideon kept his expression blank and neutral and he watched as his mother struggled to do the same.

"Of course father, though I do believe it is customary for us to see our guests out and as it so happens there are still a few songs left." He says. He would do what he had to but strangely enough he found himself doing this for Astrid. To spare her time before he could be alone with her and explain that he would not touch her like that unless she gave him her permission. But he couldn't do that in front of his parents.

Astrid nodded as smiled, falling as much as possible, "It'll take some time, but we won't forget. We should join everyone and see them off. I'm sure my parents will also want to depart soon. " she bowed, "We will be sure to keep you updated."

William nodded and smiled, clapping his hands together. "Wonderful. Please enjoy your last dance together and then we'll excuse the guests." He says, walking off. Katrina stayed back a moment, looking to Gideon lovingly, she leaned over and kissed his cheek.

"Don't rush yourselves." She whispers, causing him to smile as she pulled back and followed gracefully after her husband. Gideon sighed and looked to Astrid.

"Shall we? For appearances sake?" He asks her gently.

Astrid sighed, letting her frown come back when his parents were before she nodded. "If only for a little while. " she said, falling a smile again.

Gideon didn't bother to smile. "Last dance, well bid everyone good night and as soon as we're alone from everyone else, we can go to bed." He mutters.

Astrid nodded, as she followed him taking his arm as she did, "That would be ideal." she assured him.

Gideon glanced to her and placed his hand over hers in a proper manner. "If you think it would be ideal then we will make it happen."

Astrid sighed, nodding, "I am sure it is ideal." she assured him, knowing that her parents would want it.

Gideon sighed. "I didn't mean for the reasons my father mentioned. We'll be in the same room because that is what they expect, but you'll get the bed and I'll figure something out for myself." He explains quietly so only she could hear.

Astrid looked at him and shrugged, "I'm sure the bed is big enough for us both." She sighed, she was trying to be nice because he was. But she wish they didn't have to share the room.

Gideon just shook his head. "Believe me, it'll be better this way." He says. He wanted to give her space, he wanted space for himself, and he didn't want to have to explain any nightmares he had during the night. They'd be more obvious if they were in the same bed, especially if his...magic took over.

Astrid sighed and shrugged, "I was just trying to br nice, either way doesn't matter to me."

Gideon smirked some. "Well thank you." He says gently and meaning it. "I appreciate the thought at least." He adds.

Astrid sighed, "We should dance and start addressing everyone so they can leave." She said changing the subject.
